Hi! I’m Keillen — a tidy, easygoing and respectful single mum looking for two rooms to rent for myself, my two kids (4 & 7), and our very chill cat.
I work for myself from my laptop, so I’m home quite a bit during the day but often head to cafés or public spots to work too. I live a healthy, active lifestyle, I go to the gym around 5 times a week and I enjoy a good chat or social drink on weekends, but I’m not after a party house. When I get a quiet day to myself, I’m usually curled up binge-reading a book.
My kids are bright and kind little humans who thrive on routine and calm spaces. They usually share a room and love being outdoors, so we’re often out and about after school and on weekends. I have 60/40 custody, though it might be a little off-schedule at first. I’ll be moving ahead of them while they finish the school term, and their dad will be relocating once he secures work. I have a really great relationship with the kids dad, we've been separated awhile & are good friends so there's no drama there.
Our cat, Sushi, is 5 years old, rescued, well-behaved, and litter-trained. He spends the day outside and sleeps inside at night. He’s quiet, non-destructive, and I keep his litterbox fresh and clean daily.
Ideally looking for:
Two rooms (or a larger space suitable for us)
- Around $450/week
- Move-in anytime between now and January (flexible)
- 6-month stay to start, with potential to extend if it’s a great fit
- A respectful and relaxed home with a good balance of social and quiet
I’m also open to teaming up with another single parent, couple, or small family to start a new lease together somewhere on the Sunshine Coast. I rent a 3 bedroom home currently and have a whole house worth of furniture and appliances.
