I love cooking so you won't have to starve, I keep my area(s) clean so you don't have to worry about mess. I enjoy having a glass of wine once a week with company but completely understand if you don't want to see my face... I love my me time(alot) SO i understand privacy and will respect your space.
Modern five bedroom two story townhouse just one street away from Yerrabi Pond and easy walking distance to Gungahlin Marketplace. The rooms are currently furnished with just a single bed in each room, I’m willing to arrange a desk and chair also. Likewise, your welcome to bring your own bedroom furnishings etc if you would prefer. The rooms will be $200 per week inclusive of all utilities (Elec, gas, water) and will have free access to unlimited NBN wi-fi. No bond to pay but I do require the last four weeks rent to be paid upfront. When you decide to leave you will need to give four weeks’ notice and in return you will receive the last four weeks rent free. Preference will be given to people who are either working or studying in Canberra on a short-term placement etc. Also anyone who’s finding it difficult to find a property or room in Canberra and just needs sometime until they can find something more suitable long term is also more than welcome to come and inspect a room. Welcome to leave anytime (ie when you have been accepted for your own lease, which can take three or four weeks sometimes) with four weeks’ notice, you won’t be tied into any long lease or commitment to stay long term if your circumstances change. As said before the house is modern and is very convenient to the constantly evolving Gungahlin Marketplace which has regular busses into Belconnen and Civic. Great location for a student or contractor. Thanks for reading & Sorry, no pets.

I'm a 34-year-old female who enjoys meeting new people, quite catch up with friends. I have a husband and 3 kids in Sydney but will be working in Canberra during the weekdays. I understand and respect tidiness and privacy because I want others to do the same. Generally, I am a quiet person who just enjoys occasional social gathering.

House is actually on Warup Street in Moncrieff, the site doesn't seem to have that available though as it's a new suburb. Private rooms available in a brand new house. The rooms are 11 square metres, have privacy locking doors and are unfurnished. I'm happy to organise furnishings for you if required. They also include closet space. Unlimited NBN is included in the rent, all other bills are split. The house has a main lounge room with couches and TV. Kitchen and attached dining/living area, with another couch and TV for good measure. There are three bedrooms available and with a shared bathroom. There is also a spacious deck out back with a BBQ for entertaining. Finally, there is a parking space available for whoever gets in first.
Hi, I am an early childhood teacher relocating to canberra in a week time, and looking for a single room in shared accommodation. I am originally from Italy, the land of yummy food! I am pretty good at cooking, even if I enjoy small and healthy meals. I love socialising and having a chat over a glass of wine, but I also respect people's spaces and privacy. Please hit me up if you have something available in Forde or Gungahlin Area! Thank you Maria

Hi I am moving to Canberra for work mid-August. I am clean, easy going and adore animals. I have been in the pet care industry for a decade. Due to having a few dogs I will need to find a house to rent but in the meantime I am looking for somewhere I can stay with one large friendly dog who will be with me at work when I am not home. I would prefer a furnished room but that can be discussed. Thank you
Located in the Whitehaven estate in Ngunnawal, I have a single room for rent in a 3 bedroom town house. The room is unfurnished and is a decent sized that can hold a chest of drawers, small table & Queen bed comfortably. It has a inbuilt wardrobe, a reverse cycle air conditioner, and blinds. Power & Data needs are met with wired network ports to the NBN, a strong wireless connection as well as 4 power points. The Townhouse is located in a quiet part of Ngunnawal and conveniently located with easy access to Horse Park Drive, Gungahlin Drive and the Barton Highway. A Bus stop is located just outside (Bus Route #259 direct to Belconnen as well as Civic), but a short 5 minute walk will take you to a Bus Stop that services #251 & #252 bus routes (direct to Civic via the marketplace as well as Belconnen.) Gunghalin marketplace (Coles, Woolies, Big W, Kmart amongst many other shops) is less than 5mins drive or bus trip away. There are also local shops including an IGA, take away shop and a restaurant within 5mins walk if you don't want to drive. The town house has 2 large living areas as well as a decent sized landscaped back yard that overlooks Gunghalin Golf course & gives a very nice view of the western sky (perfect for those Winter afternoons where the sun is shining.) The place has a back gate that is useful if you want to go for a run or a walk along the Golf Course. The Townhouse has a sheltered BBQ area, gas stove, electric oven, continuous gas hot water, washing machine, fridge, microwave, clothesline, heater in one of the main living areas and a very comfy 5 seat lounge. The complex also has a Tennis Court, BBQ area, and Pool that is keyed off to residents. Water, Electricity and Gas Bills will be evenly split. Internet is included in the weekly rent and is effectively unlimited (perfect for streaming Youtube videos or Netflicks as it also is connected to the NBN.) I have two very friendly cats (2 and 3 years old, one short haired, and the other is a fluffball.) I have a professional cleaner who comes in once a month to ensure the house is kept spick and span allowing the cleaning duties throughout the month to not be onerous. Don't worry, I will pick up the tab for this. Bond is two weeks and rent is paid in advance (weekly or fortnightly.) The room is still available as of the 18th of July
My home is sophisticated and modern, I have a large lounge room and kitchen. Just 5 minutes from gungahlin town centre and a have a bus stop right outside that takes 20 mins to city and Belconnen. There is heating and air conditioning and off-street parking.
My husband and I are looking for short term accomadation, preferabley fully furnished but not essential until our new home is ready in October/November We have a small 3 year old cavoodle. She is non shedding and well behaved inside dog. We are non smokers, quiet and both work full time.
I'm friendly, easy-going, conscientious, neat and tidy and pretty quiet. I work full time as a vet nurse, a job I absolutely love. In my spare time you'll find me relaxing, watching a movie or TV show, going to markets, out for dinner or walking my dog. I'm in no way a party animal, though I'm not opposed to a glass of wine or two. I like to keep a clean house and nothing annoys me more than people who can't clean up after themselves. I really have no huge preference to suburbs in Canberra. So yes, I have a dog. I also have two cats. Tommy is a 6yr old DSH who does nothing but sleep. Maxie is about 1.5yrs, also DSH. She's very sweet and a bit of a homebody. Roy is a small poodle mix, 7kg, about 1yr old, quite timid when he first meets people but a real character once he's happy and comfortable. The cats are outside during the day, inside at night and, being a vet nurse, I'm lucky enough to be able to take Roy with me to work every day! Both cats are litter trained and Roy is house trained. All three are up to date with vaccinations, worming and flea treatment. Can provide referees.
I'm a 19 year old female seeking a new share house! I've had experience with paying rent and have never fallen behind or missed a payment. I have my 1 year old dog Ollie who is toilet trained and loving and playful. I like keeping areas clean and tidy, and don't mind cooking for the entire house every now and then! I play netball as well, not too much of a party girl so won't have too many people over in general. Great to have a beer and a laugh with at the end of the day!
I am an active retiree with interests in travel, sport, reading and the arts. Recently returned from 20 years of travel overseas. A little OCD so I'm clean and tidy, like to cook and love music. My only vices are the occasional cigarette (only outside) and a glass of wine.
I'm a quiet, tidy housemate who will happily join you for a board game, a chat or a Netflix marathon. I am currently studying a Masters of teacher librarianship and working as a casual teacher. I do have a young cat (1 year old) who can be hilarious and I'm sure would enjoy sharing with other pets. I am returning to Canberra, having lived there in 2015, after teaching in Western NSW.
