I am moving to Sydney for a new job starting on the 25th of November. I have spent the last 5 years traveling and working on board super yachts and am now joining a yacht based in Sydney. I will be working a lot over the summer and often away. But when I am home I am very friendly, bubbly like to have an active lifestyle but also enjoy social drinks and meeting new people.
Hey all! I’m looking to fill in a large, recently renovated, private bedroom with lots of natural sunlight and a huge built-in wardrobe from the 5th of December. The house has a large living room, fully equipped open-plan kitchen, deck and spacious backyard. Rent is $276/week with a $1000 bond and utilities are split three ways. You’ll be sharing the house with me, a PhD student at USyd and rock climber, as well as Josh, a USYD medical student. Josh and I are ideally looking for someone who is quiet and clean, and preferably someone who has lived in shared rentals before. We’re on a quiet street in Annandale, with public transport access to the city/USyd/UTS and walking distance to many cafes, restaurants and shopping centres in the area. If you're interested send me a pm and we can arrange a viewing! Cheers, Hunter and Josh
Hi I'm Sergio, I’m a self employed architect. I’m a very chilled and sociable housemate, love a good chat and a glass of red from time to time. Been getting into cooking for the first time and really excited about it. At home, I keep things clean and tidy and pay my bills on time. Usually working during the day and go out in the evening or relax at home. A bit about my background: I've moved between countries a lot and have been exposed to a wide range of cultures. I'm friendly, honest, and like meeting new people. My free time usually involves visiting friends, the beach, road trips, relaxing, and drawing. I'm planning on getting a puppy soon (Staffy!) as well as a Siamese kitten, so I’m only looking for pet friendly houses/units that have a yard. I prefer living with people who are friendly and easy going, and I get along with both introverts and extroverts. Ideally you'd be mature, respectful, open to negotiate what works for everyone, and communicate freely if anything comes up. I'm not too fussed about most things, if there is an issue I'll bring it up constructively, appreciate the same.
I spend a lot of time outdoors, working or with friends. I work 2 part time jobs and also have my own small business, pretty healthy, but enjoy a beer or two. Very independent, don't smoke, don't have kids or pet but I like them all! Am up early and to bed early, not a huge party type but definitely social and am out at least 2 evenings during the week and once over the weekend. I have my own life going on and busy but definitely social and happy to be with my housemate.
Hey there! My name is Nele, I'm 18 years old and I'm from Austria. I will be in Australia for one year with a work and travel visa. I would like to spend some time in Sydney (3-6 weeks), that's why I'm looking for a shared flat with other young people/backpackers! I'm a clean and open-minded person who loves to surf, traveling and every new adventure. I'm also ready to team up with other people to create a share room! Just let me know if your interested or if you've got a bed for me! Thank you!
I'm a New Zealander studying Software Engineering in Christchurch. For the summer I'm working as a Software Development Intern at Atlassian in the CBD. I'm a quiet and tidy person who enjoys indoor bouldering and reading in my spare time. I'd also like to get more into surfing during my stay in Sydney. I'm looking for a private room from approx 21-November -> 15 February :) Prefer the room to include a desk and chair and have a sub-30 min commute to the CBD.
Hey! I'm starting my masters degree at the University of Sydney in February so I'm looking for something cheap in that area. I'm a musician and artists that has been traveling around the US for the last few years. I'm very laid back and open minded.
Hello future Flatmates, my name is Louise, but everyone calls me Izzy. I'm currently studying Sociology in Constance, Germany. I'm looking for a home in Sydney, where I'll be studying as an abroad student from February 2020 til December 2020. I live in a shared accomodation with two flatmates here in Constance and grew up with three brothers, I'm used to living with other people and absolutely prefer it over living alone. I'm part of the theatre group at Uni Constance and the 'Fachschaft', which is basically just a group of representatives for the students of sociology. Besides that, I like to hangout with friends, go to a bar, I love animals but sadly my dog Bonnie is living with my parents, and I have a part-time job that I enjoy. Studying abroad in Sydney will actually be my third time living in Australia, but I'm still super excited and looking forward to experiencing Sydney from a new perspective :)
