Hi everyone! I am going overseas for 6 months and am therefore letting out my room for 6 months fully furnished! This includes a double bed, nightstand with light, clothing rack, an Ikea clothing organiser, mirror, drying rack, and a standing fan - basically everything you need. The room is about 12 sqm so there is plenty of space! You will have access to shower room, toilet room (with washer and dryer), kitchen and living room. The best part of this apartment is definitely the location - it's right in Annandale and therefore so close to the city and surroundings. There are several cafes down the street, groceries, pub and food shops. Also a bus stop right down the stairs which takes you to CBD or Coogee. 10 minute walk to Parramatta Rd for more buses and 10 minute walk to Jubilee Park. The view over the city is pretty amazing as well! The weekly rent is $250 p/week with a month rent as bond as the rental period is for six months, quarterly bills not included but usually not much. Also, for both our securities a rental agreement will need to be signed as I will be overseas, but nothing out of the ordinary, just securing that the stuff in the room stays until I'm back, etc =) I've included photos but please excuse the quality, my iphone 5 seems tired these days. If there are any questions regarding the lease or anything at all, please contact me! Julie =)
Split-level 4 bedroom house in leafy Annandale street. Minutes away from public transport to and from the city, shops, restaurants, and cafes. The house has two bathrooms fully equipped with showers and toilets; the bottom bathroom also has a bath. The house is pet-friendly and there is a friendly but unintrusive culture. There is a back garden with nutrient-filled soil and a clothesline for laundry. The downstairs living area/kitchen combination has a classic sharehouse aesthetic which accents the communal nature of the house. The first room is quite large with a window on the front of the street which gives a pleasant amount of sunlight and ambience. With easy access to the upstairs bathroom and the street outside, this room is ideal for a loving couple or an adventurous type eager for some extra legroom. All applicants welcome, but respectful and friendly housemates preferred. No set routines or rules within the house, but this is negotiable. Move in dates are also flexible. LGBT+ friendly. P.S. would love a dog!!
Hi I'm Elena, 36 year old, Italian! I have a beautiful dog Bella Cavalier King and we are looking for a place to stay long terms. I have my little shop on-line of Eco Soy Candles and other little things. I have also a little weekend job (only Friday and Saturday). I like to clean the house and I hate to live in dirty place. I'm very quiet but I'm Italian and sometime when I talk on skype with my mum I can be a bit loud:-) My dog is very clean a she sleep with me and when she's left alone she doesn't damage anything! she's a very good dog. I'm looking for a place with a backyard for my dog. I'm a very responsible person , I have a car so I hope there is a car park available nearby. Hope to hear from you soon Thanks from Elena & Bella
I am moving from Perth to Sydney to study medicine at Usyd. I am easy to live with and conscious of those around me. I am a very active person and love my sports, I also enjoy reading and binging on TV shows every now and then. I wont be moving over until 15th of January, although I am happy to start paying rent from mid-December to secure a place.
We are a house of 20's and 30's something creative tech nerds, musicians, gardeners, teachers and artists. We are very easy going and like to have a party every now and again, the occasional games night with friends, and generally hanging out together with a movie and TV show. Our place is really close to bus and light rail transport, lots of excellent cafes and restaurants, bank and supermarkets. We live in a block of 4 townhouses with a communal courtyard, similar to Melrose Place, but without the pool ;-) We get along really well with the neighbors and sometimes celebrate together with a BBQ and bonfire. The room available has 1 window overlooking the courtyard, 1 skylight, and carpet. This room is not furnished. We like the dynamics of having 2 girls and 2 guys living in the house, but we would be open to a couple. That way there's a good balance of personalities and hormones :-) No pets please, they aren't permitted on the lease.
I am Judy from Taiwan who is easy to get along with and tidy. I just graduated from UQ this July. After considering the immigration option, I have to study a diploma of interpreting until 1st of July. I plan to fly to Sydney around 7th of December.
I'm pretty easy going! I'm from Newcastle, and have just been offered a job as a Town Planner at a Sydney council. I like to play sport, go out for drinks with my friends, and just chill out sometimes.
Hey future housemate! We have a LARGE BEDROOM available in our beautiful, spacious 3 bedroom house in the heart of Annandale, arguably the best suburb in the Inner West. $350 includes all of your bills (unlimited internet, electricity and water) and household requirements (toilet paper etc). The house is situated a 3 min walk from an IGA, SupaBarn, liquor store, plenty of cafes and a bus stop - this takes you right into the city and comes very frequently. It is also very close to both Sydney Uni and UTS. There is a big outdoor space, perfect for lounging in the sun and room for gardening if you have a green thumb. The house itself is 3 bedroom, with a large living/dining area with 1 shared bathroom and a lovely modern kitchen. The house is fully furnished, however the room available is not. (I have some furniture you'd be welcome to use, just not a bed.) The room is very spacious and fits a queen size bed with ease, there is also PLENTY of room left for a desk/chair/lounge in the room or extra storage. There is a large inbuilt robe as well which features full length mirrors! One of our current housemates is moving out and we would like to fill her room - the room will be available after Christmas, however, flexible on dates if you need somewhere a little before that. We are looking for someone who is clean and quiet, i.e. no party animals and please no couples, purely from a space perspective. We are not looking for backpackers, for someone more long term who is looking for somewhere for at least 6 months. Can't wait to hear from you! If you have any questions at all shoot me a message.
Hi, I'm looking for a room with my girlfriend Beatrice. At the moment we are in Coffs Habour working in a farm to get our 2nd year Visa. We'll be back in Sydney (where we've spent our first half of visa) the 12th of November. I'm a Civil Engineer (29 years old) and Beatrice (25) is a professional photographer; both we would like to work in our fields and this is the reason why we are coming back in Sydney. We are quite and cleanly people and we love have a chat with our flatmates. Looking forward to hearing for a good place :) Giuseppe & Beatrice
I'm clean, considerate and looking for a temporary home-from-home. Really excited to finally be starting my working holiday visa but before you lose interest, rest assured I'm 30 years old and not a crazy backpacker from the UK looking for a wild party; I'll have a full-time job in admin and I'm here to get away from the rain in Scotland for a year or two before I'm too old. Having said that, I'll always be up for some socialising and fun at weekends. I have some aussie friends in Sydney already but I'd like to live with people I can call friends too, rather than just bill sharers. I'm looking for respectful professionals who live in a clean, calm environment and like to have a chat in the evenings, and maybe go on some adventures at weekends. Looking for 3 months at least but I don't know how long I'll be staying in Sydney, it all depends how much I like it, so I'd love it if there was room for a bit of flexibility with duration... No worries if not. Move in date is also flexible at the minute but not until at least 15th February as I'll be traveling over around then and I can stay with friends while I find my feet.
FEMALE housemate to suit our fun share house. You will be living with 2 guys and another girl.. hence the reason we want another girl. The room has built in robes, heaps of light and the house is loaded with character, plenty of space and has a huge balcony with city views. Capoeira, dance, percussion, music, fire pits, music, drinks, bbq’s and a good laugh... Weird and skilful people will be favoured Emoticon smile:) Bar & Pool table included... Available December 16/17 We look forward to meeting you
Hey guys I'm Simone/Sim. I have a dream on living in a large place with creative people to bounce ideas off, work together and have some fun with!! I have a passion for art, design and music. I'm really looking for a few cool kids who want to start looking for a place (aiming for February) and make this whole thing work. I do smoke, I can make cocktails, I've been living independently since I was 16. Don't let my age fool you, my friends call me mum 😂 Let me know if you too have this dream! I'm aiming for February so we have some time to chat.

I'm a student at Sydney Uni, looking for a place to rent out for my last semester. I'm fairly laid back, a sociable introvert, like to watch movies, very neat and clean and like to cook occasionally. I'm looking out for flatmates who respect each other's personal space, clean and tidy, aren't into excessive partying - but know how to have a good time with a drink or two with some good music in the evenings.
Hi Guys! Bjorn and I are in mourning as we’ve just found out that we’re losing our beloved housemate Cat to her boyfriend in Chatswood as they’ve found a lovely apartment together. RIP. You’ll be sorely missed. About the house: Pros: Free internet – Thank Bjorn and his epic connections (pun. Intended); Nice quiet neighbourhood that’s still super close to the city; tons of free and safe street parking; close to buses, light rail, Black-wattle Bay, cafes, pubs and local parks with tennis and basketball courts; an awesome back yard perfect for cricket and summer parties. Cons: Literally nothing except maybe the homicidal palm tree that likes dropping fronds on the footpath, our next-door neighbour who seems to have taken up the saxophone (but only between 4 and 5pm) and the fact that Cat Rodrigues will no longer be living here About the housemates: Tim Pollitt: Project manager by day, bar manager by night. Insists on living a healthy lifestyle curbed only by a low key drinking habit and a heavy measure of sarcasm. Always keen on a chat or some down time at home with housemates and feels like the palm tree cops a lot of hate and that we should be more understanding of its needs. Bjorn Doherty: Googler by day, Dancer by night. The man that has no limits and finds interest in stuff you didn’t even know existed. Despite taking a seat on the fence in the palm frond debate he’s genuinely one of the smartest and humbling characters I’ve had the pleasure of living with, and is always down to watch some YouTube together or chuck on a good film when he’s not out changing the world. To be clear: we’re currently looking for two house mates as we’ve been living with a spare room for the past 6 months and have decided to fill it again. This will take everyone’s rent down to $205, however, in the meantime you will be paying $265 and change until we fill both rooms. Hit me up with a message if you'd like to know more or to organise an inspection :) Looking forward to meeting you.
Hi, I'm looking only for ensuite rooms as I want to have my own bathroom. I am also looking for unfurnished rooms as I already have all my own furniture. I am currently in Perth and will be returning to Sydney mid January 2018. In Sydney, I will be working full time as an auditor and maybe studying at night as well, so most of the time I won't be at home. I am very easy going and clean, and a quiet person. Almost nothing bothers me! If this sounds suitable then please contact me.
My partner James and I are young professionals, 23 and 24, currently living in Kensington. I'm American and work as a teacher while studying for my master's, and he is a Kiwi in management consulting. Our favorite things to do at home are playing board/card games and cooking dinner together. We'd love a house where we are friends with the roommates and can go for walks or hikes together, out for meals, or just settle in for movies. We've both lived with flatmates for the past several years, though, and have always gotten along well whether as close friends or just respectful neighbors. James travels weekly so is only around on weekends, and I work mostly afternoons and evenings.
33 year old professional, working in the Insurance sector. Quiet, clean, tidy, homebody. Family focused (often spend weekends with the family). Enjoy quiet beers and a good meal with friends as opposed to a crazy night out but not opposed to the occasional cheeky bender.
Hi, I am Pusanisa, a master degree student at the University of Sydney, studying sustainability. I am looking for a private bedroom with a balcony in a share house with maximum 4 people including me. I prefer an entire place if not exceeding my budget, granny flat in a nice backyard is prefer or a studio. I am a very clean, tidy, and love quiet, peaceful place to stay to support my study. :) I also love cooking, gardening, beaches, reading, and painting.
Hey, I'm Matt. I work in TV as an editor. I love getting to the beach, going to gigs, meeting up with mates for a few drinks in the park or one of the many fine establishments the inner west has to offer, the occasional art/cultural events, and the odd festival if life permits, and of course Netflix and music :) I also like to chill at home and escape the outside world. I love a good chat about anything and nothing. I'm pretty laid back and independent. I like to get to know the people I live with and I do love the occasional cook up and cheeky glass of something something with the housemates. I'm tidy and respectful of other housemates and shared spaces. I'm fairly socially active, but do my partying outside of the home, I like home to a sanctuary from the outside world - but I'm not adverse to the occasional impromptu gatherings or house parties if we are feeling it! I'm looking for a friendly fun home to share with other cool humans! I'm technically 36 years old, but I don't think I've ever mentally moved on from 29... ;) My move in dates can be very flexible, anytime in November or December. I'm looking for long term accommodation preferably at least 6 months, though I'd rather 1 year plus.
Hi ! I'm an easy going, sociable person who's into fitness and food. I work full time as a pharmacist and have a side business baking cakes. I enjoy cooking (so expect home cooked meals ! and cakes... lots of cake), training, checking out cafes/restaurants, outdoor activities such as the beach, hiking, yoga and socialising/entertaining during my downtime. I am looking for a private room with my own bathroom, a place shared with only one other flat mate (or a couple) and ideally the place to have a well equipped, practical kitchen (i.e. must have oven, fridge, gas stove top, microwave). I like to keep my living quarters tidy and organised. I like to have my own time, but also enjoy good conversation and banter, so as long as it's mutual for all parties, we will get along !
Hi! My name is Ben, I am 24 years old from Toronto, Canada. I am moving to Sydney to start Medical School at the University of Sydney this coming January (2018). I've worked all over Canada in various fields, and in both the Antarctic and Arctic as a wilderness guide. I love being outdoors, hiking, running, camping and sports in general, and have been a competitive rower for many years. I also love Australian music, and will be looking for friends to go see live music with too! I've always lived with 3 other people at a time, so I understand how to keep a house clean, how to be respectful of other people's space, and also how to be a fun roommate! I am looking to live with other people in their 20's or early 30's, who are generally quiet and busy, but who also enjoy hanging out over a drink, watching movies and going out on occasion. Please get in touch if I sound like a fit for your place !
