I am originally from Perth, but my home base has been mainly Brisbane for the past few years. A bit about me: I consider myself a sociable introvert, meaning that while I like to spend a lot of my time alone and doing my own thing, I also very much enjoy going out and meeting people, having interesting conversations, and learning about other cultures and ways of living. I’m a big fan of travel, having recently ago gotten back from a year and a half world trip. For this reason, I also enjoy learning languages, and have learnt Spanish to a good level and am currently working on French. In terms of my lifestyle habits and practices, I tend to keep a fairly consistent sleep schedule of about 11pm to 7am. I don’t drink alcohol, do any drugs, nor smoke/vape. I enjoying cooking dinners a couple of times a week as way of winding down. I work full-time at a hotel in the CBD. What I seek in a home is primarily somewhere that I can feel comfortable, relax, and get sufficient rest; in other words, I’m definitely not seeking a party house. However, I do plan to have a life outside of uni, so would like to be able to have friends over occasionally, and am happy for my housemates to do the same. Additionally, I would like to find a place where it is okay for me to have my girlfriend stay over from time to time. I consider a friendly vibe in the house to be essential, and I prefer to be able to keep at least somewhat in touch with my housemates. But, in the same way that I like to have my own space and solo time, I respect others’ need for space and solitude as well. Overall, I'm seeking to live with easy-going but considerate people who value a clean house that is quiet during sleeping hours.
