I'm a 24yo speech pathologist who just moved down from Brisbane looking for a place to share, preferably with one or two other people. I'm very clean, generally happy to do my own thing but also keen to hang out!
**Looking for 2 rooms** Hi guys! My sister and I are looking for a place to move into at the start of November (can move sooner). Budget is up to 220/week each. Ideally the rooms will be furnished. Looking at east/inner east/bayside basically anywhere from Richmond through to Caulfield. Close to the Frankston train line would be ideal (Richmond, Armadale, Caulfield North, Prahran, South Yarra, Malvern, etc) We're easy-going, very clean, social and both enjoy a bit of adventure! Would love to move into a young professional and social household, respectful of others space but keen to hang out here and there. I'm 24, work full time in Sales and am starting a digital agency on the side so will be working long hours 5-6 days a week. I'm into the gym, eating healthy, reading and love to chat some shit over a few drinks on the weekends. My sister is 20, works as a hotel reception supervisor, she's super friendly and social and likes to cook. Also enjoys a wine and a laugh. A cheeky bonus to living with us is that we have a holiday home in Phillip Island we love to stay at, which is obviously awesome during Summer and you'll be more than welcome to join! Look forward to hearing from you!
Hello friendly faces! My name is Allyse, I'm 19 and I live in Mount Martha on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. I work two jobs local to me and planning to study Nursing at uni next year! I'm a bright, enthusiastic and very friendly girl. My main passion is music so I love going to gigs in the city and banging down a few beers every so often with my friends! I've been wanting to move out of home for a while and would love more than anything to live close to one of my favourite cities in the world, Melbourne (of course)! Feel free to send me a message as I would love to hear from you!! Allyse xx
Im a positive, easy going, social and tidy person, who also respect peoples privacy. I love meeting new people, going out for drinks, good food, good coffee and real talk. I enjoy training, cooking/baking, music, doofing and getting outdoors as much as possible. I'm a full time aluminum fitter, working in the city and surrounding suburbs. I'm mainly looking for a place with great housemates that I really get along with.
I am a very friendly and a warm person. I like to keep things neat and I mostly keep to myself reading novels or my kindle. I love to cook but rarely do so. I do enjoy an occasional social party and I adjust very easily. :)
I'm a Brazilian girl in Melbs to study for a year or so. I'm a 27 year old lecturer who moved to Melbourne to study and work part-time. Very chilled, down to earth who always looks after myself. I doen't like watching TV but looooves having some Netflix time, keeping up with the latest movies and series and defo am going to love to have someone to share that time together. Very social, but not a party animal, I love cooking and having wine once in a while. I'm talkative and love laughing but I know the right time to shut up and respect other people's introspective time. I'm not lazy at all and sometimes I wake up with a "cleaning mood" which will be very funny to see me cleaning all the house while listening to music and singing. I love all kinds of pets and I wishes I could have a cat to name it a food name. I am very organized when it comes to bills and the common areas and I have previous experience in housesharing. I'm fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish, so language is not going to be a barrier. Besides that, I intend to become fit in Oz during our one year stay, so you are going to me hitting the gym everyday, doing yoga and cooking yummy healthy food.
I am very easy going, clean and friendly. I work full time as a physiotherapist. I have just returned from an overseas trip and currently back with the parents in Koo Wee Rup. I enjoy socialising and having some wines on the weekend.
Hey! I'm Tess, a full-time fourth year Monash engineering/commerce student working part-time for Monash HR. I'm about to finish two years of house-sharing in Caulfield South (ending Nov 30 so move-in mid/late Nov ideal!) with two awesome girls and am excited about meeting like-minded, fun, reliable, independent and intellectual individuals in my next house-sharing adventure. Previous to that, I boarded with family friends for two years (I'm from Queensland) so am very accustomed to supporting myself. I'm generally quite an outgoing, forward and assertive person who loves a great time with family and friends. On top of uni and work, I'm heavily involved with sport (handball - wooh!) and volunteering and tend to prefer the busy lifestyle - #achievinggoals. I tend to be out most of the day because of it. You will either find me on the absolutely serious, mature end of the scale or the absolutely 100% ridiculous end (what can I say, I like extremes). I spend far too much money on eating out, concerts and travelling to play sport; LOVE Italian food; will speak Italian when inebriated; and have a weak spot for salted caramel. I think Spotify and Uber are two of the greatest things and I aspire to play handball for Australia. As a roommate, you'll find in me a friendly, honest, genuine individual who is open to being your friend. With many interests, you'll catch me dancing to jazz with a glass of wine; out smashing half-marathons; watching TED talks or Q&A; attending free public forums; or learning a dance off YouTube. I value independence and accountability and will respect your home, and do tend to be OCD with everything but my room. Unfortunately (or fortunately maybe) I rarely cook.... But I will clean 100%. Much preferred. One of my current roommates will tell you I have FOMO. I take this to mean that I'm very good at saying yes to things and life and love to try new things. (Still working on the #worklifebalance thing). I get intensely focused and closed off when busy with work, however love the chats with wine and cheese on the couch or over (you) cooking dinner (and me cleaning up), a team Netflix sesh, walks in the park, a beer or two at a bar or random drives to find adventures. How good are weekends. In my future roommates, I'm looking for individuals who are genuine, kind, don't take themselves too seriously but take life seriously, who are either studying and/or working professionals and who are willing to live with me (probably key). Having interests in music, fitness, adventures, tech/sci and business/world in general means we'd probably get along even better! Understandably no one has to be anyone's best friend but I would like to live with those looking to form genuine friendships with the people they're bunking with. Re. the place I'm seeking. Ideally, I'd like to live with more than one other person in an established, clean, modern and welcoming house with more than one bathroom between 3+ and plenty of green about the area. My current lease finishes Nov 30 therefore I'm looking for a place I can start migrating to in mid-late Nov. Presently, everything is communal in my share-house (groceries, cooking, housework etc.) so am comfortable with that (pending agreement and alignment of tastes of course) however am perfectly capable of looking after myself. If you'd like to know more about me or have a proposition to make - please feel free to let me know! #findtessahome #findtesssomefriends Best, Tess
Hey all, I am currently taking over the lease for a top floor apartment along Denbigh Road, Armadale. Great solar access and ventilation. B-e-a-utiful street during all seasons of the year. There's a AC/heater for when Melbourne weather throws a tantrum, so we are covered on that front. You will have your own room with views to the CBD. Shared kitchen, living area and bathroom. Current flatmates will be taking their main furniture (e.g. sofas and fridge). I will be refurnishing the living areas and kitchen with all the necessities. Pretty easy-going place, sadly no pets due to the carpet and lease requirement.
A medium-sized unfurnished room. It is a very spacious 1st floor apartment in block of just two. Polished floorboards in lounge and hallway, the available room has polished floor boards. Lounge room is huge for an apartment and has air-con and gas heater. House has all necessary whitegoods, lounges and loungeroom furniture. Ample on-street parking with no restrictions. Walk to High St shops; a few minutes drive to Malvern shopping precinct; 10 minute tram ride to Chapel St. 12 minutes to Flinders St by train. There is lots of storage space including a lock-up garage. If you are a musician you're in luck as there is a spare room which is used as a music room and also has a fold-out lounge for guests. Sorry, you won't be able to get a piano up the stairwell! . You will be living with a professional music producer and musician. Very friendly and easy-going, GSOH, sociable, respectful, considerate, relatively neat and tidy, good-natured guy. University-educated, critical deep thinker, free spirit, left-wing leaner, amateur philospher good cook, well-travelled, lover of music, dance and red wine. I laugh loudly and often! Queer-friendly, vegan- friendly, everyone-friendly. Gregarious but value my solitude. .. Please be cognisant of communal living; courteous, respectful, relatively neat and tidy and not allergic to keeping the house clean. Any age is fine, just have your s**t together! Sociable and GSOH would also be great! If you are a music-lover we are gonna get along juuuuust fine. ... Rear courtyard Modern kitchen with microwave Spacious sunlit loungeroom Fully furnished Secure, quiet neighbourhood Polished floorboards 50m from tram stop, 700m from train station Gas heater in loungeroom Separate laundry with washer and dryer Lock-up garage storage space

Hello, I’m Nate. I work full time for ANZ. Usually from 8.00am – 5.30pm. My interests include going out for dinner, going to the gym, spending time with friends, surfing, and travelling. I’m looking to move into a house with friendly, out-going, considerate people. I live a busy lifestyle but always happy to chill at home.
Hi! I'm a student studying Occupational Therapy and currently working with children. I love Melbourne and love to take advantage of everything this city has to offer. I love a social drink and chilling out after a long day. I'd love to hear from you!
Hi guys I'm Kai. Originally from sunny Queensland, I moved down to Melbourne at the start of this year. I work full time as a Business Analyst and after work I usually try to hit the gym. On the weekends, I'll almost always head out, trying to explore as much of Melbourne as possible. I'm outgoing and friendly, looking to become good friends with the people I move in with, and not just flatmates. I'm looking for similar, sociable people in their 20s who are open to chill over dinner and go out for drinks on weekends, but can also respect each other's down time and privacy as well.
Looking for a new Flatmate! I have been living here over the past couple of years enjoying the atmosphere of the suburb. I have furnished the property over the years - as well as adding the necessities such as Netflix - so the place has everything that is needed to move straight into. Spacious, secure and in a great location, it has been a fantastic place to live in for nearly three years. This would suit student, young professional or anyone wanting access to Armadale, Malvern, Prahan, Toorak. There is two buildings on the property and the apartment is the second one on the block which helps with noise and security. The apartment blocks are located near shopping areas and coffee shops a walking distance away from Glenferrie Road and located close to trains, buses and trams. The property has a large living room, extra study room and a seperate kitchen as well as a seperate toilet and bathroom with a shower and bath. P.S. Apologies for the photographs as they are a little dark. More than happy to schedule an inspection.
24 year old beauty therapist from mornington, working in malvern. live music lover and all 'round pet enthusiast (although i have none of my own). easy going, laid back and flexible.
Unfurnished room for rent! Property comprises a first floor, 1970's unit situated in a three level (walk up) secure complex. The room for rent is carpeted with built in robes. It is south facing with plenty of light. The room is 3.3 x 2.6m in size and currently has a queen bed, dresser and computer desk which fits comfortably. The other room is 3 x 3.4m which I would consider moving into, depending on the housemate. The unit is situated at the back of the block, corner position (lots of windows + plenty of light!) We have a split system air conditioning unit in the lounge (which has only been used a handful of times in the summer) and a gas wall furnace also in the lounge (used quite a bit but cheap!) FURNITURE: I'll be losing the fridge & washing machine so if you come with either, that would be great otherwise I'll be buying them ASAP. The room available is $197 per week ($855 per month) plus unlimited internet which $30 per month each ($885 in total). Move date is slightly flexible. Bills vary. Electricity is roughly $70-90 each a quarter; gas around $25 each in the summer and $60-80 each in the winter; I've only paid two water bills in the last 11 months which have been $33 each. Setting aside $100-120/month for bills is a rough guide. The place is a short walk to Armadale Train Station, trams along High Street & Dandenong Road and Malvern Central/Glenferrie Rd shops.

Im a 27 year old construction worker who has just come back from traveling overseas for the last 18 months, I would like to say I'm pretty easy going and love to have a laugh. One of my best traits is always seeing the best in any situation...my cooking isn't great but i still love to try anyway.

During the week while I'm not working I'll be at gym or just chilling. On the weekends I enjoy catching up with friends, movies, occasional drink or just watching tv. Cozy and fully furnished apartment down the road from Armadale train station. Surrounded by gyms, cafes, bars, restaurants, we are a 10min walk from Supermarkets (Coles and Woolworths) and Glenferrie Rd, also within walking distance to 3 tram lines (5, 6, 64) and a 20-30min walk or 8min tram ride to Chapel St. Not a party house, it is a place to call and feel like home - although eventual wine nights, and dinner with friends are welcome :) It is a well-sized 2 bedroom (one mine, the other potentially yours) apartment away from the main street with lots of natural light, and a little balcony to enjoy a bit of Sun light. Bedroom is not furnished, but has a built-in robe. It looks smallish on the photos but easily fits a double bed, plus bedside tables and extra storage! Everything else is provided: fully equipped kitchen (including dishwasher), living room (aircon and heater), laundry (washing machine). Bathroom has a shower and bathtub. - Rent includes internet and netflix access. - Bills are paid every 2-3months as they come (Hot Water, Electricity and Gas) - no smoking in the apartment - no pets - house supplies and products costs are split between us as needed (toilet paper, dishwasher tables, cleaning products) - we normally clean the apartment together once a fortnight, but happy to organise new routines as the right person moves in :)
G’day! My name is Felix and I’m 28 years old from New Zealand. I love Melbourne and have spent the last four years here working full-time on my PhD in biochemistry at Monash University, Clayton. I’m someone who loves to get out and about and enjoy the outdoors. I love cycling, wind surfing, rock climbing and hiking. In my down time, I like to read, cook, listen to podcasts and learn new skills including coding. I am looking for a relaxed, sunlit place to live with a flatmate or two who wouldn’t mind my girlfriend staying over a couple nights a week. I am down to earth and clean. I am respectful of other people’s privacy, but am also always up for a good chin wag! When I get home on a weeknight, I like to cook and relax. On weekends, I tend to spend most doing outdoor activities and catching up with friends. Don’t hesitate to get in touch if I sound like a good fit for your place.
I'm looking to either join or start a flat share in South Yarra. I'm a 30yo female who works full time. I'm looking for people of a similar age (27-35) who are friendly, tidy and don't mind having a meal or glass of wine with their flatmate. I enjoy good food (and coffee!!), catching up with friends, tennis, movies and I like all sorts of TV (from reality TV to documentaries and most things in between!). I live a relatively healthy lifestyle but also love chocolate and cheese. :-) Ideally would like to be in a 2-3 bedroom, 2 bathroom place with parking (can be street parking if easy enough to find a spot), however am flexible. I have a fridge and washing machine if needed.
This is Vitou. I am 20 years old. I'll be doing an engineering course in Monash next month which I'm really excited for. I've spent 4 years in Sydney and now I've decided to step out of the zone and move to the new city to experience new environment but right now I'm abit struggling to find a place to stay for long term since everything's new for me. Thanks
Hi there I am seeking a housemate to find a place with, either a house/flat/apartment to share. I have all the furniture needed to furnish a place including white goods such as fridge and washing machine, TV and DVD, plates and cutlery, cooking utensils, cups, plates and more. If you have your own furniture/white goods etc then I am happy to compromise and open to suggestions. Flexible in location although would like something walking distance to public transport and shops. I have a car but am happy with off street/permit parking. Although I am 37 I am young at heart, go to the gym/ 4-5 times a week and live a healthy lifestyle. I am outgoing but also like my quite time at home or in my room. I am not a party animal but I am social with a relaxed attitude. Most of all I am non judgmental, patient, easily pleased and easy to get a long with. I have only ever lived with friends, all of which are still my best friends. I keep a clean and tidy house but by no means a clean freak, I believe in mutual respect for the person I live with and am happy to have a chat, eat together or have a drink or two when we both feel like it. If you would like to know or would like to have a chat to decide if we are a good match or to discuss possible locations, living arrangements and so on then please feel free to contact me.
So I'm living in a perfect 2 bedroom apartment in PrAhran/Armadale currently, however I am going home to Tasmania over Christmas and have to move out. I'm looking to move in with only 1 other person, preferably someone working full time. I am a business student at Monash so it's not easy for me to be approved to lease somewhere (although money is not an issue) so I'd be up for finding a new place together if you can. I have at least another year on my degree. Would love a courtyard or balcony as I have lots of succulents! Love pets. Need to be close to a gym. I'm completely reliable, friendly and share houses has turned me into a clean freak so you must be pretty tidy also :P move in date is not set just an estimate !!! :)

Hello! My name is Juliette, 23 and from Noosa Heads QLD. In February 2017 I will be starting a Masters of Teaching at either The University of Melbourne or ACU. I am looking for a home for myself and my partner Sam (22), who is doing a Bachelor of Teaching at Victoria University in Footscray. Also hoping to live with us is Matt (22) who is an IT student at Deakin and has work in an IT Software company in St Kilda. Both boys are from Wagga Wagga in NSW. We are a group of quiet studious, people looking to find a home in Melbourne. We all have experience in renting properties and would like to live together as we know each other to be clean, quiet, respectful and friendly. Joining us is my 5 year old Cocker Spaniel x Shitzu Teddy, who is perfectly house trained and social (although I plan on having him sleep outside). We are looking to rent somewhere from February 2017 and would like to stay for at least one year. If anyone will have something available in February we would be very interested in getting in contact!
