I live in a sun-filled, spacious, 3-bedroom, 1 bathroom unit with plenty of beloved indoor plants. Rent is negotiable, but the lowest I can go is $300 p/w. The house has beautiful floorboards, big windows with lovely views, lots of storage throughout, internet, air-con/heating, is mostly furnished (including dishwasher, washing machine, dryer etc), 1 x off-road car park and plenty of easy on-road parking. There is also a garage which is handy for storage. Train station and tram stops are super close by, and there are plenty of shops/cafes within walking distance. It takes only 15 mins on the train to get into the city. The third bedroom is currently used as a shared office/spare room/walk-in wardrobe. More than happy to chat about who gets what room/s and how we divide/share the space - this is why rent is negotiable. Might work well for someone who works from home, a couple, a person who wants extra wardrobe space or have friends stay, or simply someone who doesn't want to live in a tiny apartment! Bills are separate and split evenly.
The best spag bol cook in all of the southern hemisphere. love to demolish a bottle or two of wine (sharing with my housemate of course hehe) I work full time in the city as an Energy Analyst for Simply Energy and sometimes on the weekend at the MCG. I'm into yoga and basketball and eating every pickled thing I can get my hands on!! I'm sociable but respect downtime but I would very love to have housemates that are not only someone to live with but to chill and gossip and drink lovely cheap wine with :) also VERY allergic to cats, so I can't live with a cat, sorry!

Hey, I'm Alex, turning 20 in a few months and am studying education and visual arts at Monash. I moved here from Canberra at the start of the year and am looking for a friendly/chatty person/s to create a relaxing home with. I really enjoy cooking (I'll pressure you to try all my baked goods) and am big on tidying! Outside of study and my casual work, I like to go on gallery visits, make impromptu craft projects (I wove a rug last week), boardgames, reading, bits of gardening and of course the occasional netflix binge. As a housemate: - I keep common areas tidy - I like houseplants and am slowly trying to build up a herb garden! - I enjoy a good chat and banter but am reasonably quiet (I don't yell at people on tv, don't come home drunk at 3am, don't do the dishes at 5am and will only sing badly in the shower when no one is home) - I love hearing about other people's day and the annoying things that happened at work! I would love to find someone who is like minded also lgbt friendly.
**Currently have something in the works, please do not send any more messages at this time** Hey! I'm Calista. I'm 22 and work in hospitality so I do late nights. Tend to be up till the wee hours of morning and sleep till late morning/early afternoon. Am a pretty reserved person looking for a space I can relax in and wind down and do my own thing. Can be a bit of a hermit - don't mind the occasional chat or hangout, love Netflix, Youtube and Anime, dabble in some gaming (Nintendo and the Sims ha) but overall prefer to keep to myself. I'm responsible and super considerate of others, super anal about paying rent + bills on time so you don't need to worry about me paying late. Have lived out of home since I was 17 so I'm pretty organised with these things. Overall I'm really easy-going so I don't mind the kind of person/people I live with as long as I'm free to have my introvert haven and not be forced to socialise all the time :P Important also to note I have a long-term partner and we'll probably stay over at each other's houses on the regular so you'd need to be ok with that too. Other notes: Non-smoker, Flexible with move-in date as long as it's in the second half of September.
A Taiwanese who just started a 3-month job as a designer in Melbourne so is looking for a FURNISHED room close to the city from August to November. A senior but not expensive housemate, featuring: • 5+ years experience in house-sharing • Always clean, respectful and responsible • Above-average friendliness • Hosted 1 garage sale, 3 birthday surprises and 2 welcome parties for the housemates • Owns a luggage of clothes, books, frisbees and a lamp • Fluent in English and Mandarin • Loves to talk about politics • Not a party animal but enjoys dancing in an appropriate environment • Overall, a very likeable young woman who looks like a teenager Looking for a sociable and mature (everyone cleans after themselves and refills the toilet paper) house/flat, preferably with lots of natural light as I enjoy reading during the day on weekends. I also like to watch TV in the living room and greet the housemates (might be more frequent if there's no table in my room). My moving date is flexible as I am now staying with relatives until I find the right place.

I’m 25 and work full time as a manager in a hospital. I work Monday - Friday. I enjoy going to gym. I am a clean person. Very down to earth. Love a laugh and chat over dinner / drinks. Enjoy cooking. Very social, however I do enjoy quiet weekends just as much! There is plenty more, I am happy to answer any questions you may have 🙃
I'm a retired film maker, producer, screenwriter and daily street photographer. Until 18 months ago I'd lived overseas for the last five years, predominently in India, Singapore and Norway. It's now time for me to be home in Australia. I have 2 grown children, am previously married so I'm exceptionaly well (self) house-trained. I'm a dog person, love cooking (and cleaning up after myself!), Netflix and my own space. I'm not a party animal, yet enoy the company of others. Non smoking is a given. I need to be in Melbourne for the next 12 months. I would normally rent an apartment, yet current market restrictions and dubious means of leasing are unacceptable. I'm highly atypical for my age, preferring to be amongst energetic, enthusiastic people who enjoy life. Yet I can also be quite solitary at times as I write every day and / spend a lot of time out shooting street photos, although a calm and peaceful home life is necessity. I'm financially highly independant and very reliable (with my own car). I'm also highly respectful of others so expect no less, with good communication essential.
I'm an Indonesian student studying business. I like to cook clean healthy stuff, read books, and exercise. I'm an exceptionally clean and organized person. This will be my first time living in Melbourne so I'm hoping to find flat mates that are friendly, helpful, clean, and respect privacy.
I work full-time in Hawthorn East. Single with a mini dachshund puppy. Casual outdoor smoker, happy to live with anyone who is reliable, friendly and respectful. Enjoy watching the AFL (Geelong Supporter), having a drink with friends, eating good food and having a good glass of wine. Generally keep to myself, religiously watch my weekly TV shows while also running Netflix, Stan and Foxtelgo. Love the summer time and generally keeping fit, healthy and happy!!
IDEAL REQUIREMENTS: 1) one other female (who is either working or studying full time) to share my space with. No couples, sorry. Just want to live with ONE other person. 2) Private Bathroom 3) Parking (off street is fine by me!) 4) Dishwasher in kitchen 5) Laundry facilities I've been living on my own for the past 3 years, but prior to that I lived in shared accommodation for 6 years. So rest assured I'm fully "house-trained" and know how to be sociable, but still respect your privacy. Non-smoker with no pets. Standard amount of emotional baggage included, though! ;-) I am not in any particular rush to move out so am happy to team up with someone to apartment hunt together, or move into an existing property. :) As I currently live on my own, I possess all living room furniture etc; a fridge (applicable to a team-up situation, where we decide to move into an unfurnished rental together).
