Hey there! My name is Hugh and im currently looking for a place to move into asap. A little bit about me: I moved to melbourne in April last year from NZ, I have been working at Bupa since i got here, and in my spare time i like to listen to music, play video games or work on my car/with computers :) I'm a pretty relaxed person who is very tidy and respectful of other people's needs, and also enjoys being social and having the occasional drink. I also have a very pretty kitty that is about 10 months old! He is very well behaved and adorable. Hope you find my listing of interest and hope to hear from you soon!
Very convenient spot to live even if you don't have a car (like me!) Coles is only 1km away, Union Rd with plenty of cafes and bars is also only 1km away, the train is a 2km walk and the tram is 800m. A tram to Melb Uni is only 20mins and Victoria Uni is just across the river, so it's perfect if you are a fellow student We are also on the back of the Showgrounds and Flemington Racecourse! There's a rooftop to our apartment complex which everyone has access to that has a BBQ which it's pretty sweet! For some reason, I couldn't put the exact bond in but it is $1200 which will need to be paid to me once you're name has been transferred to the lease. There is also unlimited wifi here which we split for $35 a month each Bills are around$2-300 quarterly And our rent is paid monthly $869 The lease is valid til the 4th of March 2018, but can potentially be extended if you both choose to.
Currently all rooms in the house are taken, but I can't change the settings on the page to show that the rooms are taken. The house is right around the corner from the Melbourne Showgrounds and is close to the Flemington racecourse. There is a train station (Ascot Vale, Craigieburn Line) which is around a 12 minute walk away which gets you into the city in 9 minutes. Alternatively you can catch tram number 57 which gets you into Melbourne Central in 35 minutes, the stop is only a 5 minute walk. All bills included in the price, garage parking is optional and is an extra $10 a week
I work full time and study full time so i am out alot. I and very clean and respectful On my weekends i like hang out with friends or chill at home and watch movies. i am pretty easy going love to have laugh.
My name is Karoline. I'm 24 y/o from Norway. I've lived in Melbourne for 4 years. I am looking for a place closer to work, Highpoint SC to live for a couple of months from start of October, while I do my studies. I'm studying a few courses online from Norway as preparations for uni (medical studies). I work full time as a retail manager as well as the studies so I'm pretty busy. However, I like to be social over drinks/movies when I can. I am easy going, relaxed and respectful. I enjoy being active, cooking (prefer vegan food but not extreme), go to markets and dancing. Please feel free to send me a message of you have any questions. Thank you, Karoline
I'm looking for someone who wants to sublet their apartment/ studio for 2-3 months or an apartment/house with own bathroom.
Hey there, we're a couple looking to move close to CBD as one of us is currently studying at UniMelb and I plan to enroll there for the next academic year. Our focus is on a budget place in a safe area, close to public transport, since we're working part-time and studying. Ideally a place with own/ensuite kitchen & bathroom, since sharing and time-management with others may not be possible for us as students. Furnished or semi-furnished is fine. We're both pretty low-maintenance, outgoing and love exploring new places, but otherwise happy to stay home and study/read. Neither of us drinks or smokes.
The house is situated in a quiet street in ascot vale, close to show grounds, union road shops, cafes and public transport making an easy commute to city. Gym down the street for all you gym junkies, and a short walk to the maryibyrnong. 2-3 bedroom house, ducted heating, high ceilings, shared bathroom, office, back storage room, nice sized backyard with area for entertaining. The room available is unfurnished and has no wardrobes, there is a decent sized store room in the house you can use as your very own walk in wardrobe. The house has no carpet, timber floors and tiles throughout. Off street parking is available – however not often used as lots of space on street. Room available from the 20th of July.
We are two easy going people, who care about humans and are compassionate and respectful. We love going for walks and enjoying the nature. We like to get together with others and share a good meal and chat, possibly with a little wine/beer and a board game. We've both rented for the last 5 years, so we are reliable with our pay and tidy up after ourselves. We understand others need for downtime, as we need it too. If we catch your interest, write a message and we can chat over Skype. (Required since we currently live in Denmark) Cheers, Rune & April.
Tucked away in a small complex on The Parade, two blocks from Union Road, this first-floor unit is very quiet and spacious with lots of natural light, a balcony and one bathroom with separate toilet. The living room is fully furnished and the kitchen is well equipped including washing machine. Available 14th August, the bedroom is 4.2m x 2.9m and comes with a commercial quality double ensemble and there is plenty of room for two bedside tables and a desk or chest of drawers. Two double-door built in wardrobes provide lots of hanging space and built in shelves provided added storage. Security gate across the drive way and unit has two tandem, undercover parking spaces. Three minutes walk to Tram #57 and #82 and approximately 800m to Ascot Vale Train Station. Easy walk to Maribyrnong River and Parkrun. Five minutes walk up to Union Road with numerous cafes, bakeries, restaurants, and bars.
I'm looking for quite and clean place as I am. I'm a professional working as accountant in the city. Respect the other flatmate is essential. Always available for a chat. Not looking for a party house. Happy if there's a parking (any) for my car

I am an Exercise Physiologist working around Melbourne and Daylesford. I am from North Queensland and have been living in Melbourne for about 3 years - a lot longer than what I planned. I like being active and social but then also having time to relax. Im pretty easy going and easy to live with. If you'd like to know anything else, just let me know :)
27 year old, originally from North-East England. I've been in Australia since 2012; currently working full time in the city, at Crown. Very quiet, clean and respectable housemate. Massive football fan (the round ball), and also into the Australian version too. Ideally looking for something with: - Good transport links - No pets
We are Colombians, Very clean, Tidy and We are very quiet and responsible. We like to travel, watch movies, go out with friends, we look for organized, clean and quiet people of housemates, we are not parties, we don't smoke or drink. We are looking room without sharing, If you have a private bathroom better, near the train station and sharing the maximum house with 2 o 3 persons.
Our amazing Housie's are starting a family home, so we're looking for someone new and wonderful to come and join us in Ascot Vale We are a easy going couple (Khy 29 and Dan 31), a well trained (yet enthusiastic) 5yr old Border Kelpie (Harvey), and a precocious cat (Baloo the Bear). Khy works full time as a physiotherapist, and Dan as a lecturer. We both love food (cooking and eating), are super active most days (Dan's a keen basketball and Khy is a wannabe runner), and are very social. Khy has a coffee/wine addiction and Dan has a docos habit. Harvey loves long walks on the beach, balls, and head scratches. Baloo is a cat, therefore he is equal parts sweetheart and jerk. Although we're pretty busy, we do also love our home time including "Housie dinners (ahem wine nights)" whenever a free night arises. We work the usual weekday hours, and are super clean 95% of the time. Harvey has been known to leave his toys lying around, but we're working on that. We're looking for someone (professional or professional student) of a similar age, someone we can chat to and enjoy a wine/meal with but also be quite chilled. If you secretly adore the Bachelor and hate yourself a little bit for it then we'll get along great! We'd love someone who is tidy and adores the house as much as we do. You must also be happy to engage in lengthy idiotic banter, and be willing to pick a House TV Show. All our previous Housies are still great friends and we'd like the trend to continue :) Ideally we'd love someone who can stay for at least 6 months, so that they can feel like Myrnong is Home. We're open to pets, however they must get along really well with Harvey and Baloo The room is large (3.6x3.9m) with BIR and space for a queen sized bed (can be provided if needed), dresser, and other bedroom stuff with space left over. We're also happy for you to use the spare room and rest of the house (obviously). The house is fully furnished, with an 11 seater couch, Apple TV, wireless internet and network, washing machine, Netflix, dishwasher, fridge, etc etc. It's a 2 bedroom with a small 3rd room which we've kitted out as a study/spare room. There's one bathroom with a separate toilet. The house has polished floorboards, leadlight windows, ducted heating, amazing split system air con, large private wrap around yard, off street double garage, secure entry, pot bellied fireplace, and (our favourite) a large deck off the dining room. We've been here for two and a half years and it's ridiculously comfortable. Rent does not include bills which are gas, electricity, internet and Netflix, and a fortnightly cleaner ($30 from each of us). Any questions at all please just contact us. We look forward to hearing from you! Khy, Dan, Harvey, and Baloo
Hello people of the internet! What I'm looking for in a place: - Close to public transport - Friendly/social vibes - A room that will fit a double bed, drawers, and a desk Boring stuff about me: - I'm 22 (would love to live with people around my age) - Work 2 part time jobs - between both my hours tend to be full time - Currently deciding whether to pursue postgrad study or to work full time (decisions are hard) - Always pay rent and bills on time - Good communicator - Consistent cleaner and tidier - Committed to staying long term in the right place - Not a ghost - i.e. you will see me in and around the house often - Love animals so if you have a pet it's a bonus for me! (Hopefully) Less boring stuff about me: - Will be there for you to edit your essay/love letter - Will share hilarious memes with you whether you like it or not - Will make sure you are consulted when ordering uber eats - Can contribute x2 house plants - Will never judge you when you make bad choices (e.g. watching house hunters all day) Would love to hear from you if you think we'd get along :)
Hey Guys! I am heading away for 8 months, so we are on the lookout for someone to fit in with our easy going vibe. Our Ascot Vale home is right near the river and Showgrounds, and has 3 bedrooms (a couple and a single). Our house is a fully furnished older style brick home that has had some renovations inside so is looking quite nice with polished floorboards, dishwasher, heating/cooling in the living areas and big backyard that the owner will maintain for us, win! Probably room for a veggie patch if you possess a green thumb! Your room will be furnished (queen bed/bedsides and lamps, tallboy and wardrobe) although can be stored if needed. You will just need some linen (sheets/doona etc.) It is a great size, with plenty of natural light. This place is probably ideal for someone with a car as the closest tram is number 57, about 1.2kms walk, which is still fine but just a heads up! Plenty of driveway and street parking. Supermarkets and gyms really close and the beautiful Maribyrnong river to walk along. Room will be available from 23rd July, until Easter weekend 2018, but happy to negotiate smaller timeframes (min 3 months preferred). More than welcome to come and check out the house. Talk soon!
I've been in Melbourne 4 months now and am looking for a place to call home. I am currently studying full time, and work most days i'm not at uni. Tidy, clean, quiet - but enjoy socializing.
Hey! I'm a 33 - year old psychology student, studying over at Victoria University in Footscray Park campus. I like to do a bit of cooking, and would love to have a team cook-out with my flatmates or other similar shenanigans. For my free time, I'm mainly focusing on my studies, and going to the gym. I value cleanliness and consideration above all else. Looking for like-minded individuals who want to live in a clean, calm (especially at night-time), and pleasant environment. I don't have too much of my own stuff, so I'm ideal for households that don't want the property to be crammed with different items. Also for that reason I'm looking for a furnished room. Drop a message and lets have a chat. :)
