Hi! My name is Miki and I am from Tokyo, currently on a working holiday visa. I started living in shared housing in university and have never stopped since! I have lived in university dorms, shared flats, and most recently a 30 person share house in Tokyo. I've really enjoyed the balance of having a room to myself while always having the option to talk to someone after a long day, instead of just coming home to an empty apartment. I enjoy hiking and other outdoor pursuits, baking, playing cards and board games, and finding fun things to do around the city (especially if they are free!).
Hi, my name is Dave, and I am looking for a studio, 1 bedroom apartmment, granny flat long term (12 mths or more). I am 35 yrs old, work in Pascoe Vale for a medical company. During the week I tend to stay at home apart from thursday nights for cricket training. If I do go out on a weekend I do not bring the party home. Happy to meet up for coffee so you I can ask a few questions, as I'm sure you'd like to ask me some. Cheers
Your potential future home is a room within a lovely old double fronted Victorian built in the 1900's. It has a good sized backyard and almost all common area items have already been bought. The house is a 5 minute walk from Ascot Vale station, and trains are 10-15 minutes to the city. On-street parking is always available. Photos of the common areas with furniture are the professional ones from taken by the real estate - the furniture now is different. The room will be available early March. It is at the back end of the house and has a large north facing window. It measures approx. 3.1 x 2.7 metres. It can fit a queen bed in the corner and a desk / tallboy, as per the photos. You'd probably have more room if you bring a smaller bed. Mitchell and I have all common area stuff covered, so things like a TV, PS4, couch, dining table and chairs, refrigerator, microwave, washing machine, vacuum cleaner, Netflix etc. are all already bought and available for you to use. Cost breakdown / Bills: - Rent is paid monthly on the same date each month of that month via bank transfer. The room is $693 per month. - Minimum stay is 2 months. - Bond is 1 month of rent. - 4 weeks notice would be appreciated if vacating. - Cable internet is currently hooked up at the house for $60 a month and it's unlimited. Decent speeds too, Netflix never buffers, for instance. Bill will be split evenly depending on number of housemates. (i.e. $15 per person per month if 4 of us). - Water bills would be split evenly - bills so far have been $5 a week per person. - Electricity would also be split evenly - bills so far have been about $10 a week per person. - We also put in $5 a week into a kitty for common area stuff, like toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, washing powder etc.
I'm a recent graduate from the University of Canterbury in Christchurch with a bachelor of arts majoring in media and communications. I have 22 years life experience under my belt, and have been flatting for the past 4 years. I know how to keep a place extremely tidy, while also having a good time! I'm chill as, easy to get along with, and a big sports nut. I currently play cricket and a bit of social basketball, albeit terribly! I have decided to move to Melbourne to work, meet new people and experience a change of scenery. I leave good ol' NZ on the 8th of March and am planning to air bnb it for a little bit, unless I find a flat sooner than expected!

I have just been approved for a fancy lil apartment in Ascot Vale, so I'm on the search for one cool housemate to share it with. You will be required to sign onto a 12 month lease and pay upfront a bond ($1200) and 1 months rent ($867). The apartment has access to a shared outside rooftop terrace with barbecues for enjoying some wine on it the sun and there is also a private balcony for the apartment. The bedroom is a decent sized, carpeted, light filled room with a mirrored built in wardrobe. There is a dishwasher in the kitchen and split cycle heating/cooling. I am wanting to make this place as cute and homely as possible (plants plants plants!) so if you're a gardening expert you may just become my best friend. Ps. If you own any furniture let me know :)
I am from Ireland and have been living in sunbury for the last few years. Im renting at the minute but i am interested in shared housing. Im very clean and hardly ever home as i go to uni in the city and work evenings in hospitality. Im pretty chilled and have shared houses before with no issues.

I’m a Kiwi from Auckland and would describe myself as tidy, considerate and friendly. I’ll be starting a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology this year at the University of Melbourne and am looking for a room long term! I’m looking for a relaxed flat as I generally like to keep it chill. I would like to be friends with my flatties though so I’m always keen for the odd drink/movie/board game/dinner. My interests are in cooking, running, bad puns and cricket (more watching than playing…). I respect privacy and I’m reliable so you can expect the bills to be paid on time!
Hi, I am looking for an awesome place to call home. A bit about me: Kiwi girl, 33, work full time in the city. I came over to Aussie in April 2011 starting out in Sydney and moved to Melbourne to be closer to Family. I am a happy, friendly, honest individual who likes to keep a positive outlook on life. I am often running around with friends and Family, running errands or at the gym. I have 2 foster cats, 1 whom spends 90% of the time outside and the other likes to be around people. I am happy to pay a pet bond so I can bring them with me. I want to live with people who are mature, independent and happy to hang out on the odd occasion. I look forward to hearing from you!
Hi i'm Kathleen, Canadian interning in Melbourne for the next 3-4 months. I'm independent, easy going, clean, respectful and even occasionally funny. I like exploring, hiking, brunch and reading. I Let me know if you think you can put up with me for a few months, cheers! :)

Keen to live with more than 1 other person :) also keen to get off my besties lounge room floor so I'm looking for something around mid March!!
I'm a 20-year-old Viet girl currently studying Digital Media at RMIT. I'm usually quite busy so I won't be at home very often, but when I do I'd love to have a cozy meal with my housemates and cool chats over warm beverages afterwards. In my free time I really enjoy making graphics and illustrations, petting cats/dogs here & there or playing video games.

We are looking for a house mate to fill the master bedroom of our awesome and spacious home! There is a driveway long enough to fit 3 cars end to end, but also ample street parking with no permit required. We are 6 minutes walk to the tram stop on Mt Alexander Road (Tram 59), and a short tram ride to RCH, other hospitals and to the city. Walking distance also to Ascot Vale train station! We are close to the shopping and cafe strip of Puckle Street in Moonee Ponds, 15 minutes’ drive to Highpoint Shopping Centre, and conveniently close to the Brunswick Road entry and exit of CityLink. Our home is a singlefronted weatherboard house with plenty of room, there is an amazing 5 gas burner stove top and an oven big enough to fit anything your tummy desires! The front of the house has a cute verandah but if that’s not enough space we have a massive two level deck out the back for entertaining and relaxing, perfect for enjoying the sunshine or watching the rain over a few bevvies. There is ducted heating throughout the house, a newly installed reverse cycle air conditioner in the lounge and living areas. The available bedroom has a spacious walk in wardrobe attached to a large bathroom you will share with one other, it has a double sink and mirrors so is easily shared when getting ready at the same time! The room is an amazingly large master with room enough to fit a King bed with bedside tables as well as other furniture you may have. There is plenty of storage under the house for any of your bigger items and plenty of kitchen cupboard space. Your bedroom is unfurnished. The rest of the house is mostly furnished but sadly we will be losing our couch and fridge so please let us know if you come with any furniture to add!
My name is Jess. 24yo. Australian. Student at Vic Uni and working a few part time hospitality/tourism jobs in the CBD. Very clean, easygoing and respectful of people's privacy. I am a social person that loves all things food, wine and travel! I am looking for a house with a friendly atmosphere and similar minded people that are up for a laugh, netflix marathon and/or the occasional drink rather than just living like neighbours!

Hi I am in desperate need of a house to share with other females. I'm a full time fashion student in the city. Love to have a good time, laugh, music, photography and so on. I'm clean, neat, tidy and very respectable of others Feel free to ask any questions.
I have two rooms available in my modern two story town house. The Tram stop if right outside the front door on union road and train is less than 10 minute walk. There are great local shops and cafe's in the area. There is really 3 different rooms to choose from depending on your budget; $175 for the small room with a small courtyard, $215 for the medium room with built in robes and a medium courtyard, or $275 for the main room with ensuite, bir's and balcony. For couples I will add 20% to the price, this would be negotiable. All 3 rooms are good and I will live in whatever room doesn't get taken, I'm easy going like that haha
