I'm tidy, I'm quiet, I clean up after myself and you also get the pleasure of having my beautiful kitty cat Rocky stay with us! Rocky is a sweet kitty and he is litter trained so there will be no "accidents" in the house. I am a hairdresser so you can get the pleasure of a hairstylist in the house if you're in desperate need of a haircut or colour. (I don't do it for free but you get pretty cheap rates!)
Hi! My name is Alec. I'm a bit of a free spirit. I am sociable but I'm not looking for a party house. * Ideally want a room with a private toilet/shower (big bonus) * Share with no more than 2 others My current landlord performed a full background check incl: Veda (credit history), rental database & Identity checks on me before I moved in with him. All came back squeaky clean. Sound good? Then please do not hesitate to msg me, and I will respond as soon as I am able to. Thank You...
I'm a first year student studying Psych and Criminology at University of Melbourne. I'm into video games, anime and TV shows and if i'm not doing any of those, i'm probably studying or sleeping. I'm also really into art (drawing and painting). I'm super easy going, clean and I'm happy to hang out and have a chat or watch a movie every now and then. I can also speak Japanese (which is pretty cool imo). I'm currently living in a share house with 4 other people and I get along really well with my current housemates. I leave on the 20th June to visit my family in Queensland and I'll be back on the 22nd July - I'm hoping to be able to move in when I get back. I'm not fazed on whether or not a place is furnished, and I'd prefer to stay around 4/5 months, as I start Uni holidays and head back home mid/end of November. Any suburb within a 30 minute tram/train ride from Uni/CBD would be fine for me. My max budget is about $170 - $180 with bills included. I dont own any pets, however I'd like to move into a pet friendly household as I was hoping to get a bird or 2 in the near future. I may have my 2 bffs or my parents visit me for a holiday, so I'd prefer housemates that are cool with that. Cheers
I am a proud Kiwi (don't mind the accent) and I work full time in the city for a renewable energy company. I came over to Aussie in April 2011 starting out in Sydney and moved to Melbourne to be close to Family. I am a respectful, happy, honest individual who likes to keep a positive outlook on life. I am often with friends and Family or running around on the go. I have just started working for uber which is fun too. I have 2 foster fur babies. The older of the 2 is extremely Sassy in nature, friendly but will happily spend majority of her time outside unless its cooler weather and she will be found on my bed. The younger one is a little softie, hand raised and affectionate on his terms. He likes to be around people keeping an eye on everything that's going on. I try to lead a healthy lifestyle by going to the gym and am interested in all things beneficial to our health. I enjoy baking (mostly GF) and can whip up a great weekend brunch. I am respectful, house proud and look forward to moving into a great home with fab housemates.
Hello, I'm Rachel and I work at a kindergarten. I'm currently renting a room off a family friend but her son is moving back home so I need somewhere new to go! I live a quite life, I'm very into my spirituality and I'm a very peaceful and friendly person. I will meditate in my room a lot with my crystals. I am vegan and I enjoy learning new recipes to cook for my friends. I'm just looking for somewhere nice and relaxed where I can be myself :) and save up my dollars. I enjoy art, music and reading tarot cards. I put in a 9 month preferred stay but I am flexible with that. I have no pets but I adore animals very much. I don't smoke and I don't really drink much either. Hoping to find some like minded individual(s) to share a home with :) Also open to 1 bedroom apartments or granny flats etc.
I'm considerate and respectful. Like to have a friendly relationship with housemates but also some space. Believe that communicating well with the people you live with is the best way to make a household work. Respect other people's property and preferences regarding cleanliness. I have a very cute ginger cat named Abraham. I'm 40yo, working in health at one of the hospitals in Melbourne. Not super fussy about the location of the house, so long as it's accessible to the city. LGBTIQA friendly.
We’re a couple in our mid-20s. We’ve been married 3.5 years and have no pets or children. Mischa (hubby) works full time as an air traffic controller at Tullamarine airport. I’m an Early Childhood Educator but am in transition right now between work and study. We’ve been sharehousing for 2+ years. Rental references available. We are respectful of people's space and privacy and likewise, we appreciate our own space - but also like to hang out and chat with our housemates if we bump into each other through the day... we like to be friends with our housemates, not just strangers sharing a house! Neither of us watch TV, except for the occasional game of footy, and we are not interested in living in a house where the TV is always on (whether muted or not). Mischa is a shift worker and so can be in and out at odd hours. I'm currently home all the time, but hopefully my uni applications go smoothly and then I'll be a full time student attending classes most days per week. And hopefully I'll find work to fit in around that, and will be out of the house much of the time. We are not party animals and don't want to live in a party house, but would want to be able to invite friends and family over from time to time for a meal or drink. If we're having anyone for a proper meal (not just a chilled out chat sesh in the corner somewhere!) we always give housemates the heads-up in advance. :)
I am an outgoing, friendly, professional businesswoman who has a cat, (she stays outside during day) no fuss at all. I like to socialise but also like my own space. Although I smoke, I do this outside. Hoping to give up this year!
Our place is close to the city and located above a queit shop. We re close to public transport, shop and universities. Room will be shared with a female. We are looking for another female to share. Very relaxed and clean environment.
I'm 24 year old plumber working in the city. Living an hour and a half away so looking for a place ASAP. Easy going laid back kind of person I don't mind a beer after work and talking all things footy. Length of stay is going to be around the 6-7 month mark preferably.

Hey there! Moving back to Melbourne after 3 years in the country. I'm a huge music lover, I play the guitar, love movies and random TV shows, trivia nights at the pub, planning holidays to destinations and slowly crossing them off the list, and a relaxed bevvy after a rough week or on the weekend. I'll be working full time in the city as a Business Analyst and I also study part time, but like having a chat and being social, all the usual stuff. As a housemate, I'm pretty chilled, if you want to partake in my chocolate stash, go for it, just ask first. Otherwise I'm reasonably neat, like clockwork with rent and bills, and someone who you can easily have a chat with about even the most strange of topics. I also come equipped with a lot of my own furniture and appliances, so if your place needs new stuff, I may be what you're looking for! I'd prefer somewhere in the inner northern suburbs, but will happily consider other areas as well. Happy to talk about teaming up for a lease as well If you think you might have what I'm looking for, or have any questions, then I would love to hear from you! :) Jacob
Im a pretty low key kinda housemate, very respectful of personal space :) Not a huge social butterfly, like to keep to myself while at home, and do all or most of my socialising outside the house. Always pay my bills on time and very tidy. A pretty non complicated housemate!
Hey guys, I'm Mick. I'm 28. I just started a new full time retail job in South Melb. I'm pretty laid back and like to think I can get along with pretty much anyone. I play bass in a band, but noise won't be in an issue. I clean up after myself and am happy to help out with cooking and general house duties. Not a massive 'partier' - my social outings these days usually revolve around going to catch live music/bands. If there's any other questions, feel free to get in touch. Cheers!
Working in Footscray at VU and away from my family and looking to find a nice room instead of traveling up and back to Traralgon daily. I'm committed to paying the weeks rent however I won't be staying every night as I'll head home to the wife and kids a fair bit.
Hi there! I'm a postgraduate student at Unimelb, and I'm looking for a private room. Looking for something that's close to public transport - this is pretty important to me. A furnished room is preferred, as I haven't got furniture with me. Move-in date is flexible. I do have to study a lot, so I'll need a quiet place because I'm one of those people who just can't study with noise :( but in my downtime I'd love to chat and have a laugh with my flatmates! I'm looking to make friends and not just to fill a room :) I'm a very positive and friendly person. I love a good laugh and enjoy dad jokes/puns/memes :P I keep my stuff (and the house) neat and clean. When I'm not studying (which is hardly ever) I'm reading, or watching TV shows or movies. Huge cricket fan, and will watch and enjoy pretty much any sport :D I'm new to the city so I'd also like to explore the place but haven't really got round to it yet haha! I hope I've covered everything (these things are hard to write!). Please message me if there's anything you'd like to know :) Cheers, Ally

Been happily living in my current share house for a bit over 6 months, however as the original tenant (On the lease) wants their room back, I have been ultimately forced to move on. Looking for another wonderful place with friendly people who want or don't mind a clean, fairly quiet and super easygoing flatmate. Pretty content with anything that presents itself, but as I am a student and a massive nerd, decent internet is effectively the closest thing I have to a requirement. Even though fairly young still, I have had no problems in my current share house over the last 6 months. Whether it's paying bills at least three days before they are due, cleaning schedules or generally not being a loud, messy or rude person. I have no desire to put anyone out or make anything stressful for anyone just trying to live in their own home. I am able to afford around 200 a week including bills, I can potentially go a little bit over depending on the situation, so don't write me off if you'd prefer something like 210, but it'd certainly be case by case. If you have any questions about me don't feel afraid to just ask. Now, quickly some random facts about me, I'm a student studying at Victoria University, but I plan on potentially transferring in the future, or even changing degrees. I'm currently studying for a bachelors of Engineering. I drink a lot of Pepsi max, and I find normal coke vile. I am a nerd who spends a lot of time at my computer (Always with headphones on), I love board games, and books, and TV shows and anything in that vain. I recently discovered I have O- blood, and have gotten into the habit of donating it as often as possible, because apparently it's pretty useful for people to, you know, not die.
