I'm a nutritionist coming from Mexico for 6 months to work on sports research. Im calm and friendly, not at all into partying but up for a drink or coffee with a chat. I would like a place where the mood is friendly and the place is clean.
This property is an a great spot. Located right next to Flemington Racecourse and Melbourne Showgrounds. There is a Coles around the corner and it is only a 15 minute drive to the CBD. Lots of local cafes in the area and walking tracks. You will have your own bedroom and bathroom. The only thing I need to buy is a dinner table.
I'm a pretty neat, quiet Australian guy studying engineering on-line I have a degree in applied science (chem), and 11+ yrs experience as an electronics tech. I'm a bit handy with computers, and fixing some stuff around the house. I enjoy an occasional glass of wine/beer, a chat about politics/economics/technology/society..., video/board/card games computer programming, and maybe a little bit of gardening, but largely keeping to myself. (Yes, I'm a bit of a nerd.) I'm fine with pets. - Sam
I'm quiet easy going who loves to draw. You'll often find me with my notebook and pens as I doodle away. Currently looking at going back to school and finally finishing my studies so plan to find a job around this schedule. I'm cashed up and able to fund my rent and bond. Ideally you will be close to transport and train station. Prefer a place that is pretty low key and minimal partying. Love a casual chat and sharing a meal. Unfortunately I do smoke so an outdoor area is appreciated. I don’t have pets but love animals.
I'm moving into this fantastic 2BR Ascot Vale/Flemington house this weekend, and I’m looking for someone to join me and live in the second bedroom! About the property: - Fantastic location - very close to the city, it's a short walk from both Newmarket & Ascot Vale Stations (as well as a Woolworths, a Zap gym and a bunch of great Flemington cafes/restaurants) and there are #57 & #59 tram stops a short walk away. - Very new and spacious! - It has split system cooling, ducted heating, a big kitchen, attached garage, alarm system, separate laundry, lots of living space and even a big courtyard/small backyard, complete with lawn, garden beds and an outdoor clothesline. - I already have heaps of house stuff (kitchen table, fridge, washing machine, kitchen things, potted plants etc) so the place will be mostly furnished, but if you have a couch, TV and/or coffee table to add then that would be great. - Your room is unfurnished and has a built-in wardrobe and a window into the backyard. I haven't had a chance to take any measurements or photos at the property yet, but I'll update this once I have.
The room is really large (3.6x3.9m) with BIR and space for a queen sized bed, dresser, and other bedroom stuff with space left over. The house is super homey and fully furnished. It's a 2 bedroom with a small 3rd room which we've kitted out as a study/spare room. There's one bathroom with a separate toilet and laundry. The house has polished floorboards, leadlight windows, ducted heating, split system air con, large private wrap around yard, off street double garage, secure entry, pot bellied fireplace, and a large deck off the dining room. We've been here for three years and it's ridiculously comfortable. There are two train stations a 10-15 minute walk away, and the 59 tram is a 7 minute walk away. The city is 5km away (approx 20min if you cycle). Rent does not include bills which are gas (approx $30pm), electricity (approx $40pm), internet ($27 pm), and a fortnightly cleaner ($30 from each of us). You'd be living with us (Khy 30 and Dan 32), a well trained 6yr old Border Kelpie (Harvey), and a precocious cat (Baloo the Bear). Khy works full time as a physiotherapist, and Dan as a lecturer. We both love food (cooking and eating), are active most days (Dan's a keen basketball and Khy is a wannabe runner), and are very social. Khy has a coffee/wine addiction and Dan has a docos habit. Harvey loves long walks on the beach, balls, and cuddles. Baloo is a cat, therefore he is equal parts sweetheart and jerk. We work the usual weekday hours and some weekends, and are super clean 95% of the time. Harvey has been known to leave his toys lying around, but we're working on that. Although we're pretty busy, we do also love our home time including Housie Dinners (ahem wine nights) whenever a free night arises. We're looking for someone (professionals only please) of a similar age (29-35), someone we can chat to and enjoy a wine/meal with but also be quite chilled. We'd love someone who is tidy and adores the house as much as we do. Ideally we'd like someone who can stay for at least 6 months, so that they can feel like Myrnong is Home. We're open to pets, however they must get along really well with Harvey and Baloo and be very well trained. Any questions at all please just contact us.
Hi I'm Ben, I'm a 30 year old civil engineer looking for a roommate. I work a 9-5 job (usually a bit longer) and enjoy making the most out of my time off. I'm looking for people who have good social skills, are relatively tidy, respect their fellow housemates, are responsible and are more than happy to make friends.
I’m a 23 year old beachy girl who’s recently moved to the city. I’m working full time Monday to Friday and aim to spend my time off exploring this insane city or spending time working on things that benefit my life in some way, sometimes that’s just gotta be down time. I like to believe that I’m very open minded and a very positive person. My perfect house would be described I guess as a tidy but not uptight environment.
Hi, I am allied health professional, I've been living in Ascot Vale for a past couple of years, and love the location, but having just returned from 10 months in South America, we have been given notice to vacate due to the owners moving back in. Obviously I love to travel, reluctantly head to the gym and love a good stroll along the river. I am looking for a room in a house with kind, considerate housemates, who are up for a laugh and chat after work and maybe a cheeky glass of vino, but also some down time.
Friendly, social, considerate, super clean, no smoke, no drugs.. full time job, always pays rent / perfect rent & bills history.. Shared-house trained, will participate in house keeping... No dramas 👍 👌
Howdy! My name is Josh and I work full time as a Support Coordinator for a large NGO in Melbourne. Originally from Rosebud, I'm looking for a place to move into that'll be close to work and all the fun things that Melbourne has to offer. Ideally looking for somewhere close to public transport as I'm keen to sell my car to save money. I'm a chilled, down to earth guy who enjoys the company of others as much as my own. Would love to be somewhere that doesn't have constantly closed doors and housemates who enjoy after work banter. I love being outdoors and active as much as being in the kitchen and am extremely house proud. You can count on me to not leave dirty dishes piling up in the sink! I'm open to considering different areas around Melbourne, so hit me up and we can go from there!
Hello, I'm Tara. I am 30 and I run my own business from home, and sometimes do casual reception work in South Melbourne. Hobbies: Dancing, YouTubing, reading, traveling. Preference 1: my own studio unit/flat Preference 2: share a house with ONE other person I need two rooms, preferably with my own bathroom Based in the inner Western suburbs. Prefer staying in West Footscray/Yarraville/Kingsville. Would consider moving to Port Melbourne, South Melbourne, Maribyrnong, Ascot Vale and Kensington. Parking should be available, for my little red Ford Festiva. Prefer unfurnished as I have my own furniture. Awesome things about me: - self-sufficient (I never steal food. I provide for myself) - private, quiet, busy - health-conscious. I never eat meat at home. - drug-free, debt-free - I clean as I go Personality: Quiet, but can be talkative when it comes to certain subjects. Mentally strong, smart. I have a sense of humour Currently renting a shoebox two-bedroom flat in West Footscray. The landlord has no problem with me and was happy to offer another 12-month lease, but I am taking my Body Corp to court for something. I cannot stay here for much longer. Besides, climbing lots of stairs is bad for my sensitive back. Would be nice to move into ground-floor accommodation. I think we would get along if you are: - someone who likes to sleep by midnight - not an alcoholic (my definition is...you drink every day). I drink socially about once or twice a week. - busy and have real hobbies - are in a good place financially (working, between the age of 28 to 45) - understand that I'm paying rent for privacy, peace and quiet (I'm an introvert, not an extrovert. I can be civil and friendly, but am not obliged to be your psychologist) - clean, but not OCD clean - no shouting at me; please approach in a calm and civil manner to discuss issues. Say "Please and thank you" I did public speaking for four years and I am passionate about communication. Texting and emailing can often lead to misunderstandings. If the issue is major, speak to me in person or call. Choose the right communication mode! These rules would go for me too! I would only share with one other person, to keep things simple. I can afford up to 350 per week. I am happy to pay for gas, water, electricity and Internet but NOT Foxtel or Netflix. Thanks very much; hope to speak to you soon. Tara
I am a friendly and honest young woman from countryside Victoria looking for somewhere to live long term. Although I am already a chef by trade I am a mature aged student currently studying Certificate IV in Pastry at William Angliss, I prefer to live somewhere close to a train station as I have to commute often to the city due to my course. Having already studied food health I understand the importance of a clean and tidy environment. In my spare time when I’m not studying I like to cook and read a good novel. I do have a past rental experience, happy to supply a reference on request.
A beautiful renovated house with 3 bedrooms and 1 big bathroom with the best bath EVER. It features a large kitchen, dining and living area which is fully furnished and completed with oak timber floors. The lounge room is lead out to a perfect sized courtyard with a grassed area and 2 car garage. We are in the perfect location only a 10 minute walk to the 57 tram and Union Road cafes and a 2 minute drive to Ascot Vale Station. We are also close to the Maribyrnong River meaning walks and picnics have never been easier!
I currently live in my hometown on the border of Victoria and NSW but I am going to move to the big smoke and experience something new. I’m a very easy going, polite and tidy person who loves her own space but also the company of others. I am a early childhood educator. I enjoy going for walks/runs, gym, cooking and living life to the fullest. I look forward to meeting new people :)
Hiiii my name is Lexi! I’m 19 and I work full-time as a receptionist in Moonee Ponds. I’m currently living in a share house in Niddrie but my housemates have decided to move out with their boyfriends so we won’t be renewing the lease. I am not around much in the day time but love to relax and watch some Netflix at night accompanied by a cup of tea! I do also have a 2 year old black cat Binky who is so beautiful and full of love. Contact me if you think I’d be a great fit for your home or if you have any questions.
20, from Bendigo looking to move as I’m for a apprenticeship at a barber currently in Highpoint, vegan, relaxed personality easy to get along with most people, enjoy going to for a drink with friends and going out and being young, looking for housemates that enjoy hanging and doing things spontaneous to enjoy their day off but also enjoy a lazy Sunday
I’m 27 years old, male, work full time in Admin/Conveyancing for a CBD Law firm, but my true passion is music. I perform regularly around town, often touring and recording. I also DJ most weekends in bars and clubs so I’m out quite a bit. Other interests include comedy (esp. British), world history and international politics. I’m quite independent and busy chasing my dreams, burning the midnight oil most nights.. but also very friendly, outgoing and approachable. I love a clean, tidy household that's nice to come home to, and I’m ultra-reliable on all fronts. I'm after a room which is pretty large in size, ideally at least 3 x 4m - I have some items to contribute to the house if required, otherwise I’m happy to leave in storage. These include, 2 x couches, Fridge, HD TV, various chairs and tables, microwave, Plates, pots, utensils etc.. One last thing: I have a car, so I'd just need somewhere to park it. Hope to hear from you soon! =)
Hey I've recently moved to Melb, and am working full time in the city! I am looking for short term accommodation from 26th Of May to June 14, possibly longer. I dont have any furniture, so somewhere with furniture would be ideal. I work 10-6 Monday-Friday, and head to as much live sport and live music, live theatre as possible over the weekends, so am rarely home.
This is a newly built 5 bedroom house in a newly developed area. All houses in the area are new. The area has it's own park 1 minute walk. Great for walking and cycling. Few minutes walk to gorgeous Marybirnong river There is ample of off street parking, this shouldn't be a problem. Great neighbourhood. The room is upstairs in quite side of the house (size around 3.2×3.5). FUlly furnished. has it's own wardrobe, study table and chair, TV, and most importantly split aircon/heater. Bathroom and toilet has it's own separate room, Only you will be using the bathroom and toilet. Walking distance to Epsom road where there's trams and buses. Only 15 mins (7 kilometers) to the city. Few mins drive to train station. Close to shops. Walking distance to highpoint shopping centre. 3 mins drive to coles. few minutes drive to Victoria uni. Great area for cycling. Rent includes bills and very fast internet. We are looking for a working professional, quiet, clean and who don't like to cook to keep the house clean. No couples please. The room is mostly fully booked from airbnb (with fantastic reviews) but we have decided to rather have someone long term and can trust.
I'm a first year student, but I don't do much in the way of partying, I don't smoke, to be honest I really don't do a whole heap except go to Uni, go to work, Volunteer on Sundays and chill in my room. I've been living out of home since Jan, so I like to think I've got the hang of it and I'm always down to chill.
Hey y'all. 24. Graduate engineer. I keep my head down during the week, but generally am a chatty fella who loves to get amongst it on weekends. If you're looking to fill a room or want to team-up, shoot me a message! Keen to arrange a meeting asap. If you're one of those that keep their tomato sauce in the fridge, don't bother. Ta.
