An introverts dream! 3 month stay available from August 22nd - December (flexible with date up to December 8th) The room on offer is large and Ascot Vale train station is just a 2 minute walk away with only a 12 minute trip to Melbourne Central Station. There is a bus out the front (472). 8 minute walk to tram 57 and Union Road shopping strip. 8 minute walk to tram 49 (Goes past Highpoint Shopping Centre) Your room has a door that leads to the outside. This means that if you are the type of person who likes to keep to yourself... it is almost like living alone! The other flatmate has his own door to the outside also. The room on offer has a queen size bed, 55 inch screen smart/3D TV, two seater couch, double set of draws, dressing table, two bedside tables and a single cupboard. We use the second bedroom as the lounge room. The flat is well insulated so keeps cool in the heat, but there is also a pedestal fan if you need it 😊
Your potential new home is a lovely old double-fronted Victorian built in the early 1900's. There's a decently sized backyard to relax in and on-street parking is always available (permit-free). The house is a 5 minute walk to Ascot Vale train station, and trains are 10-15 minutes to the city, coming every 5-9 minutes during peak hour. There's also gas heating and air conditioning throughout the house. Ascot Vale is a pretty quiet suburb, yet is still really close to the city. Supermarkets are within walking distance (Coles on Epsom Road or Newmarket Woolies) as is Dan Murphy's on Mount Alexander Road. The room available is in rear of the house and has a north facing window. The room measures about 3.1 x 2.7 metres. It is a smaller side of the scale, reflected in the lower price. It can fit a queen bed and a clothes horse, which is the current setup, but you can make use of it however you like. We have all common area stuff covered, so things like a TV, couches, dining table and chairs, refrigerator, microwave, washing machine, dryer, vacuum cleaner, cutlery, plates etc. are all here and available for you to use. You'll just need to furnish your own room, though this is negotiable as the person moving out can sell you all his stuff if you require it. Cost breakdown / Bills: - Rent is due monthly on the same date of each month based off the first date you move in, so, e.g. August 30th, September 30th etc. - $765 per calendar month. - Bond is 1 month of rent paid in advance. - 6 month minimum stay. - 4 weeks notice of vacating required. - Internet (unlimited), water, electricity and gas bills are split equally. These fluctuate seasonally but have generally been on average around the $20/week mark.

Hello! I'm Laura, I teach animation part time at RMIT and work in retail, but am looking for producer jobs so hopefully that will change soon. I've previously been a private cook, so enjoy sharing and cooking meals. Currently I'm trying to get back into rollerskating, and enjoy playing board games, animating, and reading in my spare time. I'm generally on the quieter side, but am always happy and up for a chat :)
I'm a creative and easy going person. I bring positive energy to the room :) I'm a musician (studying vocal full time) and part-time worker as an office admin. I'm easy with paying on time and thinking logically. At the same time I'm a creative soul who loves to do music. I prefer to live with full-time workers - as in this way i can schedule my vocal practice when everyone is outside of home, and so im not a pain to live with haha.
Hello, I work full time in the Community sector. Ideally would love a modern apartment / townhouse with a spot for my car (on street is okay)
Hey, my name is Ajay (FYI; 30, born & raised in Melbourne w/ Indian background. Working full time in hospitality. Looking for a place in cbd or outer city (any side-N.E.W.S.) as I work in the city. I am very sociable but also know people need their privacy. I enjoy to the gym, cooking and enjoying outdoors activities. With work and hobbies, I won’t be home often unless I have a day off (rarely) but would make time to spend with my housos (dinner, drinks, grocery shopping, cleaning etc). I like a clean and tidy place (not a clean freak though). If you have any further questions, just ask. Also, have no problem going on the lease (would prefer it)p but flexible considering circumstance. Thanks, Ajay.
23 years old, young professional, work full time shift work. Enjoy spending time with family/friends and socialising heading out in the city.

Hi I’m Andrew I’m clean but not anally retentive about it. I like animals so if you have pets that’s awesome. I’m pretty good at quizzes. I smoke but if you want me to smoke outside that’s cool, I understand I’m killing my self slowly and that you may not wish to do the same. I’m sociable but also like my own company and pretty conscious of people also enjoying there own.
I'm 26 and moved to Australia permanently a year go, and I've been living in a flatshare in Southbank. Now I'm hoping to get amongst things in the Melbourne suburbs. I work full-time at VicRoads as a Project Engineer in the CBD. I love music and play guitar myself. I love sport too but still trying to get my head around footy! I also enjoy spending time with good people having a drink and good food, and getting outdoors too. I'm Sri Lankan originally but grew up in Abu Dhabi. I lived in London and Hong Kong before Melbourne, so have been sharing flats for a while now.
Greetings! You (a lovely human looking for a someone to share a humble abode with) are probably wanting to learn a little more about me (prospective roommate and person to share cups of tea with). I am a third year International Development student with a growing collection of pot plants. Interests include intermittentely learning languages, drinking copious amounts of tea, immersing myself in nature and propelling myself through university with a large helping of perfectionism. I have been living in sharehouses for the past four years, and am very comfortable respectfully sharing space with other people. I tend to be a relatively reserved person, and am looking for someplace homely rather than a party house. I am both tidy and responsible, and would love to find a household with a friendly atmosphere. I look forward to hearing from you. Seline x
I am a postgraduate student from The Netherlands and will do a research project at The Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health for 6 months. At home, I live in a quiet area with my long-term boyfriend and puppy for over two years now. I am looking for a nice home in Melbourne during my internship. I am very sociable and I like to chat, but I also like the quiet and peaceful. Furthermore, I would like to get to know more about the Australian culture and the country! Sharing living room, bathroom and kitchen is no problem. In addition, I really like to cook and bake, so you would be getting a lot of cookies.
Hi, am a 38 yo male from Perth and moving to Melbourne in August 2018. I am a full-time professional working in road/rail infrastructure. I am respectful , courteous, outgoing and extrovert. Not a party animal even though I would love to have a few drinks with my housemates every now and then. Always up for a decent conversation. I am a very organized person and love to keep my place clean and tidy. Am a non-vegetarian and got no issues with my housemates being vegetarians. Looking for shared accommodation in the listed suburbs. Please feel free to message me.
Young at heart single 38yo. Down to earth, positive and love anything health and fitness! Im currently living in a 1 bedder in Ascot Vale but my landlord has told me she is going to sell the property (no time frame as yet) so I am starting the process of finding a new place - hoping in the next 2 months. I am ideally looking for someone to find a place with in or around the Footscray area as the properties look nice and are reasonably priced for a 2 bed townhouse and is close enough to the city which is where I work. I have everything but a fridge and washing machine which I'm happy to look at purchasing/renting when the time comes. Im super easy going and would like someone who is up for sharing dinners and a glass of wine at the end of the day. I have a cat so Id like somewhere that has a courtyard as he is indoor/outdoor - he is super friendly but not annoying and very low maintenance so you must like cats :) If you're cool, fun, down to earth and happy to share a home (not just live) then please get in touch.
In my early twenties and a young professional with a full time job within the agricultural industry. On my weekends I enjoy playing hockey, having a wine, baking, and going out for coffee! I am a very easy going, enjoy company and respect others space. Looking to live with people of similar age group in a friendly household!
So candidly speaking, I'm Taran Bedi from India, currently pursuing Masters in Management from University of Melbourne as of now. It's my first time abroad with regard to studies. Hygiene is important to me, not a cleanliness freak, but yes, not one of those who'd keep the place littered. It might sound like I'm blowing my own trumpet but I'm an understanding person and respect privacy of others. That's about all. If you'd like to know anything, let me know☺
Hey, I'm 35, well-traveled, worked in various cultures, multilingual and have a variety of interesting experiences to share. I am easy to get along, well-mannered, tidy, well organized and love to read. I am an experienced finance professional (Chartered Accountant and Management Accountant) and moving to Melbourne from overseas. I have previously lived in Melbourne briefly in 2015 and have a close circle of friends here. I would like to find a housemate who is easy to get along. I am a hopeless cricket fanatic and have been following cricket matches from as early as the early 1990s. My cricketing nirvana was to watch the WorldCup final live in Melbourne on March 29, 2015. I like to strike a balance between work and being fit and although I am not a gym goer but try to walk the miles to keep in shape. I am committed to continuing education and was studying as recently as 2017. I love to travel and have had the chance to extensively travel across the Middle East, Europe and Far East Asia together with my wife. I am looking for something that is short to medium term until my wife joins me close to the mid-November. I am aiming to move in around the fourth week of September 2018. Please give me a call or send me a text if you would like to get in contact. Cheers, Umair
