An introverts dream! Available from 27th April for up to 3 months (possibly more if my visa application is approved). The room on offer is large and Ascot Vale train station is just a 2 minute walk away with only a 12 minute trip to Melbourne Central Station. There is a bus out the front (472). 8 minute walk to tram 57 and Union Road shopping strip. 8 minute walk to tram 49 (Goes past Highpoint Shopping Centre) Your room has a door that leads to the outside. This means that if you are the type of person who likes to keep to yourself... it is almost like living alone! The other flatmate has his own door to the outside also. The room on offer has a queen size bed, 55 inch screen smart/3D TV, two seater couch, double set of draws, dressing table, two bedside tables and a single cupboard. We use the second bedroom as the lounge room. The flat is well insulated so keeps cool in the heat, but there is also a pedestal fan if you need it 😊
Hey, I have a room to rent (long term) in a two bedroom unit (1 bathroom) in Ascot Vale. All you will need is your own bedroom furniture. There is a built in double door wardrobe in the bedroom. Its a 5 minute walk to the train station, 5 minute walk to Union Road (full of delicious cafes) and a 10 minute walk to Coles or the Melbourne Showgrounds. Rent is $200 per week inclusive of utilities (electricity and gas, but if the bill goes over the 350 per quarter, we usually split the difference). There is internet at home which is extra per month. (if you'd like to use it) If you're interested we can talk further regarding bond, meeting, etc... Can show you more photos if interested.
This property is great because it’s got a massive backyard with a little outdoor entertainment area. It’s only a 5 min walk to the train and tram. The place is so close to the city but has a real friendly, neighborhood vibe. It’s great being close to woolies, Ascot Food Store (delicious coffee) and also not far from the amazing food on Racecourse rd in Kensington.
We have a very spacious house with electric blinds in all rooms, a dining room with a huge dining table, and a living room. All this space is fantastic for entertaining guests and having shared dinners on our own, and sometimes having study marathons together in the dining room as well.
I want to set up a house for creatives. You may be a gardener who creates in nature every day, or a health therapist who creates pathways for clients, or a writer or actor, or teacher. I would cook a weekly dinner for us all once a week. I'm a writer, and I teach English to refugees and migrants. I'm also writing content for a website I am developing.
Hi I am a young at heart 60 year old QA Manager with a local food manufacturer. Originally from England, I have lived the last 5 years in Melbourne, after spending 20 yrs in NZ. I am house trained, can even cook. I relate to all ages, my current best friend in Aus is only 31, whom my wife & I just recently went to Bali with him & his partner. I have plenty of life experiences having travelled much of the world. I enjoy most sport, quiz shows, British TV dramas, reading , music , a few beers with friends at the weekend. I am looking for a room as I have just gone through an amicable separation from my partner, we have decided she should stay at our current house & I would move out.
I come from a cattle station in the Northern Territory. My friend Will and I are best friends from high school. We pride ourselves on being clean and respectful, having lived away from home through much of our studying lives. We're friendly people to live with and looking for two separate bedrooms to stay in this year.
Hi I'm 28, will be working full time at a hotel. Easy going, clean and tidy. Enjoy movies, shopping and traveling. Been in Melbourne for a month, recently from New Zealand. Hope to stay in Melbourne for awhile. Currently staying with friends but ready for my own space.
Looking for chilled flare mates who share the same though process as me. “Live n let live”. Happy to have good chat sessions over coffee or in free time. I am a chef so if I m impressed by you, You get gourmet food at home. 😀😀
I am very friendly, chilled out, clean and tidy. Sociable with housemates but I enjoy my quiet time too. I work full time in a cafe and enjoy going for day trips to get out of the city :) I am looking for a place to live, close to ascot vale for two months.
We are an easy going and down to earth couple. We love sharing stories and enjoy good laughs. We love dogs but we don't have any. I do shift work at the airport while my wife works in an office in the CBD. We enjoy our jobs and we also like to chill out in the weekend. Cooking, watching tv or simply doing nothing on off days would be enough to make us happy. We are looking for a quiet place to stay for a long term where we can relax after work. It would be ideal if the room / studio apartment is available from 25 Jan 2019.
We are a young couple that are trying to move closer to our works, and are in desperate need of a place to lease. We are social, funny and love to have fun. In saying that, we are also incredibly mature and responsible for our ages and know the importance of paying rent and bills on time, as well as maintaining a clean house. We have a Border Collie, Sophie, who is non negotiable.
I'm a 26-year-old Entertainment Management student, currently in my final year of study. I love music and footy (AFL), and when I'm not too busy with work or studying I try to get to as many gigs and Richmond games as possible. I'm pretty easy going and usually up for a chat/drink/whatever, but like most people, I also like to have my own space. I'm clean and tidy, friendly and always respectful of other people. That's all I really ask for in my housemates as well. I'm originally from the country, but I currently live in Kensington and am looking to move (hopefully still around this area) mid-Feb or March. I'd be open to moving earlier if I found the right place. I don't have my car in Melbourne so I'm after a house that is close to public transport, but other than that I'm pretty easy!
Hi :-) My name is Sonam, I'm originally from New Zealand but currently living and working fulltime in Melbourne. I prefer my own bathroom however, I am open to other options. I am easy going, respectful and considerate towards others. I am happy to consider teaming up so please send me through a message if interested.
Hey! My name is Claudia, I’m an apprentice barber working full time. Love a good chat, loves making music, loves camping and being outside. Always down for a beer but spend a lot of time doing my own thing as well. I would really like to find a chill house of like minded people who clean up after themselves and all get along well :)
