Looking for a housemate to rent a room in my fully renovated Edwardian brick home in trendy Ascot Vale. Beautifully renovated 3 bedroom house with large modern kitchen/living/dining area that leads onto a reasonably sized deck/entertaining area equipped with built-in bench seats, outdoor dining, TV and bar fridges. 3rd bedroom will remain empty and can be used as a spare or can be converted into a 2nd lounge for privacy. I'm looking for a house mate that will respect my home, will maintain its cleanliness, likes dogs, is courteous & is happy to have a chat & an occasional drink together. However, we don't need to be best mates as I do like to chill alone at times & I respect people's privacy & personal life. It goes without saying that we need to get along! Cost is $275 per week inclusive of all bills and entertainment (utilities, unlimited wifi, netflix, foxtel, optus sport). Large furnished bedroom on offer (you can also bring your own furniture as I can just move mine into the 3rd bedroom). House is 50m from Ascot Vale train station & local buses. Short walk to Union Rd, Puckle St & Mt Alexander Rd which boasts everything from trendy cafe's, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, banks, post office, hairdressers, libraries and more. Also close to Flemington Racecourse, Melbourne Showgrounds & Moonee Valley Racecourse. Parking is on-street and comes with a parking permit if you own a vehicle. Short-medium term stays also accepted. Prices as follows: 1-7 nights = $60 per night 8-28 nights = $50 per night *4+ weeks = $275 per week (this price based on 1 person; cost will remain $50 per night for couples staying longer than 4 weeks) Room is available immediately. Call/text/email me for enquiries & to arrange an inspection. Thanks Tomi

I am a postgraduate Biomedical Sciences student from The Netherlands. From February on, I am going to do my research internship into Dementia in The Royal Melbourne Hospital for 6 months. During my internship I am looking for a shared home. I like being surrounded by other people to eat (I like to cook =)), sport, watch Netflix or explore the Australian culture and country together. However, I also appreciate quietness and peacefulness. Sharing living room, bathroom and kitchen is no problem.
Hi I am a young at heart 60 year old QA Manager with a local food manufacturer. Originally from England, I have lived the last 5 years in Melbourne, after spending 20 yrs in NZ. I am house trained, can even cook. I enjoy most sport, quiz shows, British TV dramas, reading , music , a few beers with friends at the weekend. I am looking for a room as I have just gone through an amicable separation from my partner, we have decided she should stay at our current house & I would move out. Well that's my pitch hope to hear from you.
Hi! my name is Kim Cynthia, I'm a 20 yo French student currently enrolled at Melbourne Uni. I study environmental science so yay to reducing energy bills! I may be young but I'm very independent. On weekends I like to either swim/go to the beach or grab some snacks and watch a movie at home, maybe both. I regularly go to dance classes also. I'm laid-back but organized, easy-going and friendly but respectful of everyone's privacy and very open-minded. I like to think that makes me pretty easy to live with :)
Originally from the Gold Coast, just love Melbourne too much to live anywhere else. Easy going, work full time, love my footy, basketball, drawing, designing.
Hello, I am looking to rent a room from November / December onwards (preferably long term). I work full time in the Community sector. I am respectful & trustworthy and always pay rent and bills on time. As I work full time, I have a pretty busy schedule. I am usually away or have something on on the weekends. Happy to live with either male or female. I am quite open with the location - anywhere safe and suitable in a reasonable distance to the city preferred. 😊
36 yrs old, Australian. Clean and quiet, I studied multimedia & design + Animation, so a bit of a nerd there, I do like my Scifi and fantasy movies/ books. I am not a shy person, and talkative, noise never bothers me, outgoing on weekends, i do like a whiskey. I tend to be quiet after work during the week, relax and watch a show, do computer stuff etc. Basically I am looking for a room big enough to accommodate a semi large corner desk and a double bed, and close to public transport as a rely on it to get to work. I work 5 days a week in the CBD, sometimes more, in the afternoons I often do a little more PC work on my little online business. Even more detail ---------------------------------- I do like someone I can talk too, it would be great to have a friend and not just a flatmate. I do not mind it if someone just wants their own space, I totally understand, some jobs really take it out of you. I love pets and easy going. I have lived with party animals and quiet hermits, I always got along with everyone. Not fussy about noise, but i prefer a decently clean space, no piles of dishes in the sink so at least the next person can use the sink and cook etc. Not much of a sports fan, well at least watching it on TV, I do not mind running out and kicking a ball. I used to skate and surf, I do miss the beach a lot. Mostly into rock'n'roll. I like heavy and light stuff, everything between Nine inch nails to John Lennon/ early 60's etc. I travelled a lot in my youth, I was born in South Africa but spent most of my time in Australia. I spent the later part of my teens In Byron Bay, so kind of consider it my hometown. Food and furniture ------------------------------------- I am not Vegetarian but happily eat Vegetarian food. I pretty much eat anything, favourite has to be mostly Asian cuisines. I wouldn't care if a few pieces of bread vanished or a little milk, tomato or whatever. As long as it wasn't out of control lol. I happily share things or keep things to myself, depends on who I am living with and their habits. I have kitchen stuff, toaster, kettle, pots and pans etc, a few small tables, wardrobe, TV, shelves, lamps, speakers, vacuum cleaner etc. I do not mind getting rid of it all if I have to, I prefer to keep my desk and PC, as I do a lot of computer work, it is important to be comfortable.
Currently work full-time at Airport West. I'm good at cleaning and gardening. Very respectful of privacy. Looking for an existing sharehouse or starting a new one with women only please. I enjoy reading, writing, creative type things and hitting the gym. Healthy eater will probably be making a lot of smoothies. Always up for interesting conversations and wanting to create an environment that is safe, warm and welcoming.

I have a cat and she is amazing I have had her for 8years and love her to bitts, she is an indoor cat and she looks after her self. I have a motorcycle and love going on ride all over Victoria, I work a lot at the MCG so I do shift work.
32 year old British guy working full time Monday to Friday in engineering... looking for mature housemates for a clean environment to live in. snowboarder / divemaster / kitesurfer outdooorsy. roll on summer :)
Very easy going, I work rotating shifts as a nurse so I’ll be the housemate that seems to never be home! When I’m not at work I’m generally at gym or doing something outdoors! Always clean and tidy, quiet and respectful of others however I am also social and happy to meet new people! Currently living in Parkville but looking to venture out to somewhere else!
Originally from Canberra, but promise I'm more not boring! Currently living in Kew but seeking an unfurnished room in the the inner north area. Full time Project Manager working in the far Eastern suburbs. Enjoy making tunes and spinning decks in my spare time, as well as hitting the gym and playing bball. Keen to join a household that's up for occasional hangouts or shared meals. I'm easy going, open minded and considerate. Looking for a home with house mates, not just a house with strangers.
Young at heart single 38yo. Down to earth, positive and love anything health and fitness! Im currently living in a 1 bedder in Ascot Vale but my landlord has told me she is going to sell the property (no time frame as yet) so I am starting the process of finding a new place - hoping in the next 2 months. I am ideally looking for someone to find a place with in or around the Footscray area as the properties look nice and are reasonably priced for a 2 bed townhouse and is close enough to the city which is where I work. I have everything but a fridge and washing machine which I'm happy to look at purchasing/renting when the time comes. Im super easy going and would like someone who is up for sharing dinners and a glass of wine at the end of the day. I have a cat so Id like somewhere that has a courtyard as he is indoor/outdoor - he is super friendly but not annoying and very low maintenance so you must like cats :) If you're cool, fun, down to earth and happy to share a home (not just live) then please get in touch.
My partner and I are 22yo and our friend Kyle is 18. We are all very relaxed, opened minded, and are looking to move closer to the west/north side (with some exceptions). I work in Australia post in sunshine and currently live in a Pakenham (It’s insane I know!!). We are all relatively private people, and like our own space but do love to socialise and hang out. We all love the outdoors as well. My partner and I have a dog named Hannibal, he just turned 1 and don’t let the name fool you, he is the biggest sook for affection ever. He just wants love, kisses, cuddles, and maybe some of your food ;) (but don’t worry he does not beg). He is fully house trained, very obedient and short furred. Brad is currently studying and looking to work with me after his studies, hopefully by next year. Ideally we would like to all have a room of our own, but my partner and I are also happy to share one larger room together. Being close to public transport would be great, as none of use a car. Closest to train stations would be ideal, if not any buses work too. Hopefully we are what you are looking for :)
I'm Simone, 23 years old from Italy. I'm currently studying electrical engineering and working full time as pizza maker (yes, free pizza every night). I'm not exactly a party guy, I mainly enjoy a few drinks and a chat in a nice pub! I spend most of my time at work or university, but in my free time I love watching sports (football every Sunday night!) and travelling. I'm looking for a room around the Moonee Ponds area or near by, I'm also in for taking over and sharing a lease for a new apartment! Hope to hear back from you, have a nice day!
I am getting in early to see if anyone has a flatmate moving out in the new year. I am planning on moving once my lease is up. I am currently living alone and wanting to move to share with someone/others for the company. I am primary school teacher and would consider myself a respectful, clean and friendly person. I would like to live with a like-minded person as I think that is important. I am a social person, however also like my own space/time.
I am extremely considerate of others and always mindful of another's personal space as I value my own personal space and quiet time immensely. As a mature, reliable, friendly and open minded woman in my 50's, I am currently semi-retired with a Personal Investment Portfolio, and I do occasional temp work in the Health or Community Services Sectors. Over the past 6 months I have been living in and taking care of an apartment in Ascot Vale for a woman who went to live in Israel. She is back now, hence my need to move on. Prior to moving into Ascot Vale I traveled and wrote for 12 months. I am co-author in a book due to be launched in November. Seeking a minimum stay of 2 months however if it really feels like home, I would love to stay on. I love animals - especially cats. My interests include getting to the gym 3 times a week, meditation. personal development, energy healing (Reiki & Access Bars), listening to music and singing, Please feel free to ask any questions at all. As I value clear communication and transparency you can expect 100% honesty at all times, and I expect the same in return.
Hi everyone, my name’s Lisa and I’m currently studying and working in Melbourne. I’ve almost finished my second year of a bachelor degree at Victoria university for hospitality management and Human Resources. I also work casually for Pullman Melbourne on the Park and Delaware North. Because of this I come and go a bit. I also am originally from a small country town in south west Victoria and go home some weekends and holidays. I respect others property and space and ask others to do the same. I’m a fairly quiet person but am quite chatty when I get to know you. I’m a tidy person and would appreciate living with others who aren’t overly messy or at least don’t leave their mess for over a week (current roommates do and it’s not fun). I love to cook, especially bake, I’m an animal lover, and also enjoy exploring new areas. I’m not a huge party person but am not opposed to a night out or drinks here or there. Am much more comfortable with a quiet night in watching movies and catching up with friends. As I’m such a huge animal lover I’m hoping to find somewhere that would be happy with me bringing my puppy with me from my hometown. Ollie is a a Fox terrier x jack Russell and will be about 2 months old in mid November. So if you have a pet that is friendly around other dogs that would be great too. A car space or somewhere to park my car would be amazing. I’m a non smoker and don’t do drugs, but I don’t really mind what your preferences are. I have a boyfriend who visits some weekends so that would have to be okay. I’m lgbt+- friendly, I’m also multicultural friendly and accept all backgrounds and religions etc, so long as you do the same with me. Whilst my current contract runs out on the 7th of December I could potentially cancel this if the right place comes up. If I sound like I’ll fit into your home please let me know. Thanks 😊
