It has a nice outdoor area for entertaining and lovely neighbours who all know each other and get together monthly for some casual 'Sunday Sips'. Our house is lovely Queenslander that has a big backyard and balcony, 1 bathroom that we happily share, heaps of storage under the house and easy parking in the front yard/drive way. The room is currently vacant so we are looking to fill it asap to try avoid the dreaded double rent for too long.
We have a free room in a colourful, renovated Queenslander house in Ashgrove. It has an awesome balcony, garage space and is right next to a park. We are in need of someone looking to stay for approximately 6 months that can move in asap.
*** looking to move in asap. I am a tutor and postgraduate student at QUT Gardens Point Campus. Also I am working at a cafe on Saturdays. I go to gym and eat healthy but I am not living like a pro athlete :) I am interested in latin dancing, trekking and anything adventurous on my free time. I am looking for a pet free, non-smoker, clean (I vacuum-mop once a week and clean dishes straight away), home environment. Preferably, having my own bathroom, close to the public transportation alternatives for travelling to cbd and back. I understand and show respect to boundaries of my flatmates and expect the same in return. I am sociable but I like spending time on my own to recharge.
Hello, my name is Julia. I am a 19 year old student who is about to start studying vet nursing. I am a clean person and easy to talk to. I love going for drives and adventures but am also a fan of staying in and watching movies all day. I am from Cairns and have lived there for 18 years of my life but was originally born in Japan as I am half Japanese.
Hey I'm Pete, Plenty of experience in share houses. Clean, quiet and respectful of others privacy. I'm sociable but love my quiet time also. I am a full time student at Griffith Nathan for the next two years and am looking for somewhere to settle for a while where I can focus on finishing my public relations degree. I receive austudy so regular rent payments are not an issue plus I mow lawns for a bit extra also. So handy to have around the house. I have a 9yo son who visits on school holidays who is respectful, sociable and quiet. If I sound like a fit for your place let me know. Definitely not interested in living with dirty or party people. Can provide references if necessary. Cheers
Hey, I'm Aleisha! I am looking to team up to find a property in the inner northern suburbs. Very flexible with move in dates. I work full time as a nurse and have a lovely well-behaved cocker spaniel. I have done the share house thing before- can adult and pay bills on time, very clean, happy to maintain gardens and even start a vege patch! I do pilates, netball, enjoy hiking and am a rugby union fan. I am pretty chill and mainly keep to myself but would love to find people that like to have a chat or an occassional dinner together! If you want to know more or chat about potential places please message.
I have a full time hospitality job in the city. I'm a tidy person, I keep to myself for the most part, easy to get along with. The house i'm in at the moment has been sold, need to move out by the 23rd. Would like to look at rooms asap.
We are friends and willing to stay together with private rooms and common kitchen. We need a house near to the city. It would be great if we can get 5 bed room house to stay. We are friendly, extrovert & easy going.
Hey! i'm a 30yo living in brisbane, i've lived here for 18 months and im looking for a new place due to my current housemates boyfriend moving in. I'm a very clean and organised man, im happy to socialise but also will stick to myself. I'm looking for a housemate that lives clean and isn't a party animal, i'm too old for that. I have a motorcycle that I require off street parking for. Feel free to offer a place if its not in my selected area's, they are only a guide. Thanks
Hi/hola, Looking for a student/worker non-smoker to share a modern 2-storey townhouse who is respectful, sociable, tidy and who doesn't mind living with a lovable and very respectful 2 year old kitty! I am a professional in the mid 30's who like to have a quiet week and enjoy weekends by doing exercise, watching movies, catching up with friends, and having drinks from time to time. The place is close from Ashgrove shops, restaurants, bus stops and it's only 4.5km away from the city. 5 minute walk to closest bus stop and 20 minute bus ride to the city. The room comes furnished (Bed + draw unit) with a built-in wardrobe and ceiling fan. The bathroom is spacious with storage and bathtub. Feel free to send me a message if you have any questions. Netflix, wifi, electric bills (capped) are included. On street parking
This super cute 3-bedroom home is tucked away in the suburb of Ashgrove. It’s a short five minute walk to the all inclusive Ashgrove shops (Woolworths, Coles, ALDI, Chemist Warehouse, green grocer, butcher, gym, and bottle-o). There’s half a dozen express buses that go to the CBD and surrounds. We’ve lived here for a year and a half and absolutely adore this home and huge backyard. There are walking trails through magnificent bushland all around and cute dogs a plenty roaming the paths. The kitchen has a gas stove and plenty of storage, the bathroom is freshly renovated and we enjoy maintaining the garden (where we have a couple of cute veggie patches and worm farm). There are masses of windows so the air flows through nicely all year round (as a good Queenslander should) but the living/dining room has air conditioning should we need it. Our neighbors are mostly families so the neighborhood feels very safe and welcoming. And there is next to no noise from the surrounding main roads. Internet is $23 p/month Bills are fairly consistent at $140-$160approx every 3 months
Hey, I'm a 21 year old Law and Business Uni Student working part-time. I consider myself a friendly and social person, but I am also laid back and will respect your personal space. I'm very clean, responsible, and organised, so you won't have to worry about my mess lying around, I can be a bit of a neat-freak sometimes. I usually have work and uni throughout the weekdays which keeps me busy, and on weekends I usually stay over at my boyfriends place or am out with friends. Love a good wine and cheese night, or catching up over drinks/movies on the weekend with housemates, better to be friends than strangers. Looking to move in with some lovely ladies around mid year (approx. June/July) into inner-city fringe suburbs, as I would like to live closer to Work and Uni which are both in the CBD. Feel free to send me a message and I'd be happy to have a chat and meet up if our requirements match :)
We're a chilean couple coming for 18 months to Australia and we want to settle in Brisbane. We've already being here for a month and we love the city and its surroundings areas. We're both civil engineers and like to practice sports, especially outdoor sports. We consider ourselves friendly and sociable, but also very respectful with others and their own space. We like to know about new cultures, meet new people and learn to cook new things. We love coffee, especially filtered specialty coffee in the morning, which we can teach you our way to prepare it. We work on the week and usually organize something to go out during the weekends, like going to a park, riding bicycle or do picnics/bbqs.
*i own a cat that needs a home too* I'm easy going, clean and respectful. I do work full time Monday-Friday so I tend to be pretty chill during the week and am very sociable come the weekend. My ideal housemates would be people that I would be able to become mates with.
I'm an organised, understanding, and free-spirited young female - looking to move out with like-minded people. I work full time, and enjoy outdoor adventures on my weekend/s, along with the occasional beverage. Wanting to move out of my parent's home in the next month or so... not in any sort of rush to organise a place at this stage.
Just your run of the mill fun-loving, easy-going, hard-working, tidy dude. Some things I do: amateur sports, bikes, gym, tennis, bball. Anything outdoors / game related is my jam. Currently study the law and work full-time. Enjoy a nice bev on weekends. Love being social but generally pretty introverted. Looking for something on the inner-north band.
I'm a recent graduate in Nutrition and Dietetics. I'm still trying to get hospital positions but it can be hard when you first start out. So in between dietitian jobs, I work as an English Language Teacher. I'm pretty quiet, I like to exercise and be outdoors as much as possible. I also love cooking and get very excited about good food. I also LOVE dogs (especially Staffies) and would be happy to walk your furry friend if needed. Other than that I'm clean and respectful and easy to communicate with.
