I work full time as a teacher. I would love to be part of a house that is relaxed, tidy and be around people who love a good chat. I’m quite busy during the week but like to relax on weekends. I enjoy dancing, cooking and travelling. Message me if you’re interested :)
Heyo! So our house has a nice outdoor deck area and includes a sweet as jacuzzi. Its nice and spacious and has city views! It has an upstairs and downstairs area with two bathrooms and you would be taking a downstairs bedroom that has a shared bathroom with our housemate Dave (so just two people downstairs). Your room also has a built in cupboard (yay!). Our house is a little aged but we love it and we're sure you will too. Its a 1-2 minute drive from Coles, Woolies and Aldi and there are also busses about an 8 minute walk away which includes a city glider, so super easy to get into the City! Also super close to QUT Kelvin grove. There are also a bunch of cool cafes around the area so chuck us a message if you're interested :)
Easy going Gold Coast girl moving up to be closer to uni (QUT kelvin grove/garden point). Looking for flatmates that respect privacy but are also willing to socialise with casual wine nights or heading out to brunch to buy overpriced avo on toast. Proud supporter of messy hair, sweat pants and baking vegan banana bread. Ideally looking for someone close in age but I get along with everyone so not too fussed. Feel free to message if you think you'd be a good fit :) (Bonus points if you have a dog.)
I am a very balanced, easy-going and an understanding person. I like to keep my stuff clean and respect the privacy of others. I am friendly and often get along well with new people but also like to keep to myself at times. I am planning to study full time at QUT Kelvin Grove in Feb but currently located a fair way from the uni and thus why I am looking for accommodation.
I have a spacious 4 bed house at Ashgrove (5klms from CBD). I only want to rent out 1 fully furnished room (so only 2 people living in the house). There are No bonds or contracts +all utility bills are included in the rent. There may be a garage for your car. Two rooms to choose from $150 or $175…both have a quality dbl bed, built-in cupboards + drawers, desk, lamp, fan, TV. The larger room also has an adjoining Study room +sml deck +AC. The smaller room has an adjoining 2nd lounge room and is next to a pergola area. Its all quiet and very comfortable in this house. This location is very close to bus transport to City, parks, Bank St Reserve, bike paths, cafes and shops. Kind
My name is Joel and I work full-time in Finance whilst also studying a Bachelor online. I work 9-5pm weekdays and in my spare time I study or I like to watch movies. I'm neat, quiet, don't smoke and I also pay all of my bills on time. I work in West End and I drive so the commute and parking arrangements are a deciding point for me, however I'm flexible on other amenities/factors. I come with my own bedroom furnishings. My current lease ends Feb 16th, however, it's doable to move in a few weeks earlier for the right property. Thank you.
Hi future housemates! I am moving to Brisbane in February. I'm a physiotherapy student studying my 4th and final year! I will be working as a physiotherapist in hospitals around Brisbane finishing my uni clinical placements, as well as a gymnastics coach. I am a friendly, upbeat person, always up for a chat, a Neflix/Friends/Grey's Anatomy sesh, a casual glass or two of wine and maybe a fun night out, but I also like my personal space. I like going to the gym, cooking, shopping, exploring, or going to the beach. I am always respectful, mindful of my fellow housemates, clean and tidy. Nonsmoker, no children, no pets (but I love dogs) I have a great previous rental history and have done the whole house share thing so the do's and don'ts. Looking somewhere to live somewhere $200-250 close to the CBD/North of the River with a nice homely feel. I would prefer a housemate/s to be of similar age, female or co-ed. I will be moving to a new city so and don't know anyone so being able to build a friendship and a home not just somewhere to sleep would be an added bonus! Furniture wise I have a fridge, some bedroom furniture, TV and a heap of kitchen stuff. The ideal place would be a nice apartment/house, with my own room big enough to fit a Queen bed and own bathroom, AC, parking, close to public transport, a balcony perfect for drinking wine on and a supermarket nearby.
18 yr old working part-time at Aldi. Studying a bachelor of business- international at QUT! Love hanging out and socialising but also like some quiet time. Enjoy spending my spare time going to gigs, chilling with friends and of course staying in and watching Netflix. Super clean and organised!! Reliable job which means rent and bills will always be paid on time.
I'm a full time Creative Director for my own animation studio needing a place in/near the city for work. A room with a bed and a decent sized desk for my computer and my drawing is all I need. Otherwise you want home made pizza and party games on the Switch I've got you covered.
Hello! I am from Brisbane and looking for a place in close proximity to CBD and I have listed my preferred suburbs below. I will be flexible with moving before Feb 5th. Currently I work full time in retail in CBD. I am very friendly, introvert, down to earth, trustworthy, tidy, clean and respect your privacy and space. My hobbies are fitness, modelling, photography, volunteering, road trips and camping. If I am someone suitable please contact me. Cheers
Currently living in Ashgrove, but have to move since my lease is up. Really like the Paddington/Ashgrove area! Working full time as an Event Coordinator. I don't have a car, so need to be near good transportation. I'm interested in living in a share house with great housemates who are friendly and welcoming. I moved to Australia 5 months ago from NY and am looking to make friends. I'm a dual citizen of Aus and US and plan to live here permanently for a few years. I'm a great roommate, very clean, love a good chat or a drink, and respectful of space. *Highly allergic to cats and cannot live in a house with them. Love dogs!
Northern Irish girl studying at QUT Kelvin Grove, working at Zara and a singer guitarist. I have been in Australia for over 5 years. I like to focus on university otherwise I would fail, so when I am stressed I'll be out of your way and probably living at uni. I am a musician so I am busy with my gigs now and again. I am clean and respectable of my current roommates, so I won't be in your way all the time. I like to do social activities at the weekend whether it's going out or having friends over, so it'd be cool to be living with people who are sociable with one another, but like to give each other space at times. I also love to spend my time at the beach, and I try to keep healthy and enjoy my fitness. Other times when I am free, I like to head up to the Sunshine Coast to visit family / friends. If you think I'd be a good candidate for your household, definitely shoot me a message. You won't be disappointed by my entertaining accent, and my amazing cooking (avo & toast) :')
Hi I am Isaac. I'm originally from Central Queensland however moved here a year ago. I am studying Law/Business at QUT and working part time at the Indooroopilly Shopping Centre and ideally looking for a place close to work/uni. I am a clean, quiet person, non smoker. Always up for a chat but also respect others privacy.
This super cute 3-bedroom home is tucked away in the suburb of Ashgrove. It’s a short five minute walk to the all inclusive Ashgrove shops (Woolworths, Coles, ALDI, Chemist Warehouse, green grocer, butcher, gym, and bottle-o). There’s half a dozen express buses that go to the CBD and surrounds. We’ve lived here for a year now and absolutely adore this home and huge backyard. The kitchen has a gas stove and plenty of storage, the bathroom is freshly renovated and we enjoy maintaining the garden. There are masses of windows so the air flows through nicely all year round (as a good Queenslander should) but the living/dining room has air conditioning should we need it. Our neighbors are mostly families so the neighborhood feels very safe and welcoming. And there is next to no noise from the surrounding main roads. Photographs are of the same room just with different furnishings to show what you can fit in there comfortably. The wardrobe, grey shelf and bed frame are available for sale if needed :)
Hi I'm Nathan I am a 17 year old, Australian male and I am moving to Brisbane to start my degree of Sport & Exercise Science at QUT, Kelvin Grove in February. I will be working a casual or part time job on the side as well. I love sport, especially rugby and cricket, and I also like to stay healthy by going to the gym and eating well. I am easy going guy who respects others and their privacy, I also am a very clean person and happy to do my part to keep the place neat and tidy. I'm a humble guy who is easy to have a chat with and I'm very keen on getting to know the people I will be living with whilst respecting their space. I am a motivated person and also like the outdoors so often will go exploring and see new places. Overall I'm a really chilled guy and would love to hear back from anyone that is interested in me becoming a flatmate. Feel free to message or call me with any questions or queries
I am looking for somewhere with some yard for my two little dogs! :) They are spaniel crosses... so very cute! I am very easy going and like my own space but also love a good night out with fun people and great food. I will be studying this year at QUT KG campus (master of teaching) and also work in hospitality to pay the bills. I am looking for western suburb homes but also open to other inner city areas (west end, KG, Annerley, Woollongabba) - hit me up if you're a cool chick or dude and you like what you have read above! :)
Hey guys I'm currently studying 3rd year full time (double bachelor of creative industries/business at QUT) and working part-time in retail. Looking to move closer to uni into a shared house or willing to team up with people to find a place. I'm easy going, keen to make friends, would love to live in a sociable environment where we can have a chat or hang out occasionally. But the introvert within me also loves my own quiet space to relax and recharge in-between haha. In return i'll be respectful of your space. Usually pretty busy with study and work but every now and then I like to have fun and go out to gigs/have some drinks/outdoor activities/anything involving food etc. If anyone wants a doggo around i have my 14 year old childhood pet, Missy the border collie who i'd love to bring with me (she's usually an outdoor dog). But if that's not possible she can stay at my family home no worries. My move date can be flexible If you want to know any more just ask!
Hi future housemates! We have two rooms available in our spacious Ashgrove home. The beautiful Queenslander house has three bedrooms, two bathrooms (plus a separate toilet) and a huge backyard and deck. The house is on a number of major bus routes, making public transport easy. It is only 10-15 minutes to the city and is close to a number of parks and bike/walking tracks. We only want a maximum of four people living in the house, so we are open to either two single applicants, or one couple. As a couple, you would get your own room and bathroom (we would leave our third room empty for guests), but two single applicants would both get their own room and share a bathroom. Rent for each room is $165/week (for the bigger one), $150/week (for the smaller one) or $295/week for a couple. All bills are additional to the rent. The master bedroom with air-conditioning and an ensuite could available for the right price.
My house is a 2-4-minute walk to Woolworths, Coles, Aldi, Goodlife Gym, all the big banks, great cafes and public transport direct to the city. Large back yard and outdoor setting with a BBQ. Ideally suits a non-smoker who is clean & tidy, respectful, friendly person with a desire for a comfortable space with a considerate housemate. Unfortunately, no couples. Be great if you live an active life, like having a garden and space to call your own.
hey ya'll, just looking for a place in the suburbs that I have provided/anywhere close to those. I am currently a full time student, working as a personal trainer. Would be great to move into a house with really chilled and level headed people, who have their stuff sorted haha thanksssssss
Kate and I are two super fun, easy-going gals who love to cook and socialize but also like to have time to study and do our own thing. We are super respectful and clean and won't be home all the time as we both study full time and have jobs. We'd love to become friends with whoever we move in with and make it a comfy and happy place to call home!
Works 5 days, plays guitar, owns some gym equipment, owns mowing equipment, exercises regularly, has car and drivers license, casual drinker and smoker. Looking to move, mid February.
I am a 24 year old cafe manager from North Queensland with two small furbabies (one cat and one chihuahua x foxy) both well behaved and quiet, and lovely companions for a household. My doggo comes with me to work every day so you will have mornings alone :) I'm not a party animal but I don't mind a sneaky weeknight wine and board game night or a weekend adventure. I love to cook and bake so there will always be something for those sweet tooth's. I Also love reading, yoga, hiking, sewing, painting, and knitting (I'm pretty much an old lady ok) I'm neat, clean and laid back, and would like to find like minded housemates who I get along with :) Lets meet up for a chat/coffee Rose
I am an 18 year old student studying a Bachelor of Fashion Design and work part-time at Boost Juice. I currently live in Camp Hill but am moving due to end of lease. I am very easy going and enjoy getting to know people. I like having a few drinks a couple of nights a week and having a great time with friends. I am excited to start a new journey and meet new people.
