THE HOUSE Our house is a beautiful old-style Queenslander with heaps of character. It is also really spacious, with an open plan kitchen/living area, a deck perfect for having a cup of coffee on in the morning or a beer on a Friday afternoon and a big backyard. We are in a great spot; close enough to the city to make getting around cheap and easy, but far enough away that there is plenty of green spaces around and not too much hustle and bustle. It's only 10-15 mins from the city by car and with public transport literally on our doorstep. THE ROOM You would be living in the Master Bedroom. It has it's own en-suite, air-conditioner and ENORMOUS built in wardrobe. There is the option to purchase the furniture already in the room if you would like (a vintage bedside table, 3 month old queen mattress and custom made pallet bed). YOU We are looking for someone active, sociable and tidy. We take a lot of pride in the house so it is important that you clean up after yourself. We also like to be able to have the odd household dinner and obviously need someone we can talk to and have a laugh with. The house is currently fully furnished, but the couple that is moving out (me and my boyfriend) own nearly all of it, so if you have your own furniture you would like to bring with you, that is a bonus. No worries if not though.
Two mates looking to move to Brisbane around early July. Easy going guys, one of us is working full time while the other is working part time and studying. Looking for somewhere relatively central close to the city and the uni. Furnishings are optional.
It's a lovely big light-filled Queenslander, with big rooms, high ceilings and polished timber floors. Rent = $160 per week (this includes water) Internet = $20 per month Electricity = roughly $190 per quarter Your bedroom has a ceiling fan, big floor-to-ceiling wardrobes, a window, and French doors that open to the big back deck. The house has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom (with a bath), a toilet separate to the bathroom, kitchen, dining room, lounge room, entry, back deck, big grassy backyard, and an open laundry beneath the back deck. Car parking is just on-the-street parking, which is always easy to find. Our landlady is really friendly and easy-going - no real estate agents to deal with.
I work in retail part-time. I'm 27 and an introvert that generally kept to myself, however, I do enjoy going out every now and then. People tell me I'm nice but need to improve being an adult, not saying I'm messy, I just don't have a license.
Hey all, We have a great room available right on the border of The Gap and Ashgrove (lovely part of the world!) Will be available from the 3rd of June , but we're flexible! Pets are okay but we’d have to meet them first and would need to be outside or downstairs. It's $170 per week, bills will be on top and split three ways. Bond is 4 weeks rent so $680. We may consider a couple but are mainly just after one person. We also have a smaller room (3rd bedroom) that would be available for $150 (9th photo) if that's what you're after. The Space The room that will be yours can either be furnished (as seen in photo 7 and 8) or unfurnished. We have everything you'd need for the room, double bed, drawers, wardrobe, etc. If you have your own furniture that's fine too, ours can go downstairs or in the spare room/office. The rest of the house is furnished and we have super fast wifi. The house is a three bedroom Queenslander with a big kitchen and lounge, one bathroom (but the toilet is separate to the bathroom), good sized front and back yard plus enormous under house storage. It’s very secure and has a proper concrete floor. The Neighbourhood Ashgrove is located just 4 kilometres from the city. It borders Paddington, Bardon and Mt. Coot tha. It's one beautiful suburb and is home to a lot of old 'Queenslander' style houses - workers cottages, iron roof tops etc. Stunning Mt. Coot tha is just a stone’s throw away, literally at the end of the road! So there's plenty of walking tracks etc on offer. Enoggera reservoir at Walkabout Creek is also only 10 mins away for those hot summer days! The Gap Village is 5 minutes away and has supermarkets, Italian, Indian and Thai restaurants plus many more shops. Ashgrove shops are just 5 minutes away too. This is home to Coles, Woolworths, Aldi and many restaurants and bars. If you're interested, please text us a brief description of yourself and any questions you may have. Ideally we're looking for someone long term but would also consider short term for the right person. Look forward to hearing from you.
Hey! I’m Steph. I’m friendly, clean, tidy and respectful and looking for some likeminded people to live with. I like to have a social and an active household, while also being respectful of each others space. I enjoy a bev on the weekends or going for adventures, and I work during the week. I've just come back from working the ski season and traveling in NZ, and I'm now working as a digital designer. I love coffee, music, design and travelling. Swing me a message if we’d be a good fit :) I'm looking to move around the end of July - start of August.
Hey future housemate!!! Looking for somewhere July 20-ish, message me if you think we could be friends! I study science at UQ, in first year and moved from North QLD. I'm looking for somewhere to live from July until the end of the year. I want to choose somewhere that's not only a place to live but with people I can get along with! I'm fairly social, although I'm at uni all day every day, and usually doing something on weekends. Always up for a chat or some drinks though! I would consider myself mature, and I can't deal with mess so you don't have to worry me leaving the kitchen dirty ahaha. I'm looking for somewhere reasonably priced (max $200/week) will bills included. I think I'd get along best with people my age who are studying or in the same situation! Feel free to message me if you think I could get along with you and your housemates!!
I'm a 21 year old Law & Business Uni Student working part-time in Admin. I consider myself a friendly, social, and outgoing person, yet I'm also laid back, can keep to myself, and will respect your personal space. I'm clean, responsible, and organised, so you won't have to worry about my mess lying around. I usually have work and uni throughout the weekdays which keeps me busy, and on weekends I usually stay over at my boyfriends place or am out with friends. Looking to move in with some lovely ladies around mid year (approx. June/July) into inner-city fringe suburbs, as I would like to live closer to Work and Uni which are both in the CBD. Feel free to send me a message and I'd be happy to have a chat and meet up if our requirements match :)
Hi there, I am a 25 yr old male, moved to Brisbane rather rapidly and in temporary accommodation so in need of a place ASAP! haha. Just started a new job as a full time Drone/UAV flight instructor and looking for a place to live with some easy-going, fun and adventurous people. Bit about me: Love my fitness and keeping active, but enjoy the occasional night out or night in.. as long as it involves beer and wine :) Anything outdoors Anything involving sports (particularly AFL) Beach, sun, watersports, golf, Snow, surf etc.. Coffee is LIFE!!! :D I am a very well travelled person as well so love an adventure be an extended trip or a weekend getaway :) Would consider myself very independent, highly self-motivated but very easy going/chilled out. Enjoy being in good company but also like my own space. Would ideally be looking for a group of people to not just 'live' with but be friends with. Used to be in the military for a few years and studied aviation at uni, now working full time (as mentioned) but also run my own company in Adelaide (will still be running from here) but moving due to a more exciting employment opportunity. If I sound like someone you are looking for please hit me up! :) Nick
My husband and I both have blue cards, I care for children at home and my husband works in IT We have all amenities at the end of our street. Restaurant, doctor, dentist, beauty, coffee shops, bus stop, gyms, post office. We have the most enormous pool. We don’t drink or smoke, but we love our food, travel and movies.
Nicely renovated house has heaps of open space, two 4x4 and one 3x4 bedrooms available. To share with one other. Wood floors throughout upstairs, open plan lounge, kitchen with 2 decks either side of the house. 2 Aircon units, one in the lounge and one of the bedrooms upstairs (Photos of room coming needs a little bit of floor visibility), only looking for 2 flatmates. Open to what we do with the 3rd room upstairs (TV Room, Study, Storage). Downstairs has garage converted to living space, were I stay. Laundry and storage on the same level. Walking distance to local park, school, transport and a couple of great cafe's Marché du Macaron and Famished on Frasers are just 4 minutes walk. If you have your own furnishing that is great. Otherwise I was going to have to do some shopping. We also have a shed out the back for other storage as well.
Hi everyone, this is my adorable home in Ashgrove. I have two large rooms available now. There’s plenty of room for a large bed and desk and they come with wardrobes. One also has a bed and side table. Located 10 minutes drive to queen street mall and there are lots of buses from Newmarket Village, only a few minutes walk away, where there are restaurants, cafes, cinemas and a Coles. The kitchen has a vast selection of tea goods, plenty of bench, cupboard and fridge space, and a pristine gas stove/oven. Perfect for baking an excessive amount of cookies and cooking delicious pasta for dinner to go with wine and Netflix. Has a cute little patio which you could enjoy a delicious brunch or chai tea… maybe a cookie…or all of the above? Luscious living room with functional Netflix machine and a collection of scenic Bob Ross oil paintings to stare at. I tutor art in the living room a couple times a week in the afternoons, but I close the doors and the sessions are only 80 min. The bathroom is pink and ridiculous, and thats what makes it so great. Also there is a bath and seperate shower! So that makes it even better. The internet is unlimited and cheap.
My name is Cheyenne, I'm a Canadian/Australian Registered Nurse working full-time. Easy going but still reliable and tidy. I enjoy going outdoors for adventures and am partial to a few drinks on the weekend. I am looking for a place where I can bring my 5 year old male Golden retriever Leroy. He's a super calm de-sexed dog who just loves people and is used to roaming in and out of the house. I leave him happily in the backyard (fenced yard required) when I'm at work but he likes to hang out inside when I'm home. He's not a barker/doesn't have any bad behaviors! So I'm in need of some dog loving house mates! I also have two cars so am in need of a place with lots of off street/street parking! Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions :) Cheers, Cheyenne

Keen for a flat mate who is rarely home and prompt on rent? Single 30 profesional male who plays well with others. 4/5 star rating (personally rated) Talent agent and card dealer on the weekends at the casino. Single and share friendly. Seeking non psycho flat mate. Last part negotiable.
My names Jonathan I'm a 17 year old full time subcontractor for the Brisbane city council maintaining main roads and parks, I'm a clean, friendly, genuine young adult who always pays my way and sticks to my word, I like to cook and watch the footy on my time off as I do like to keep to myself sometimes, I would say I'm an easy person to live with as I always aim to make a house a home and I'm easy to get along with, I look forward to meeting you :)
Hey all, I'd like to express my interest in a room for rent. I moved to Brisbane 6 months ago from Cardiff, Wales. I'm originally from Northern Ireland but have emigrated here for a job opportunity. I work for the greatest team in Queensland, obviously that being the Brisbane Broncos... I’m employed as their strength and power coach, so if you think they’re looking weak, that’s on me! About me I'm 33 years old (feel much younger). Like most I probably work too much and should strike a better work/life balance. I'm a very social person, but also very respectful of others need to have their own space and time. I like the odd drink, but prefer a bar/some live music rather than the clubs. Movies, sport, reading etc... are all hobbies that take up most of my down time. Much like anyone else I have interests in travel, adventure and experiencing the finer things life has to offer. All being well, if interested, I'm available to view anytime that suits! Cheers, Ryan
