I recently (August) moved to Brisbane from a small town in New Zealand called Thames, where I lived for 20 years. I worked as a public servant in Social Housing for around 19 years, but accepted a redundancy in July. I decided it was time to get out of that small town. So, I enrolled in a TESOL course and moved here. Once I've completed the course I'll travel and teach online. I'm working full-time in the city. I'm traveling to Sweden in April next year, so I'm looking for accommodation until then. I'm currently at an Airbnb in West End - I really love this area and would like to share an apartment here - preferably a 2bm with one other. I'm pretty fit and active, into the gym, playing tennis and love the outdoors. I love to cook, so would be happy to share a meal from time to time and a glass of wine. I like to socialise but I'm not a party animal, I prefer a nice dinner party these days. I'm very clean and tidy - probably a little OCD.

Hey there, im Matt from Tassie planning to start my full-time role in the Brisbane city in shipping. I work full time while also studying part-time doing a Bachelor of Maritime Logistics. I like to stay fairly active as if I'm not studying or at the gym, you'll catch me on an adventure depending on the season either diving, camping, hiking or just out and about exploring. I'm looking for a place close to public transport and with some parking, as I'll be bringing up my Ute with my camping/hiking gear, somewhere near the city would be nice but I'm not too fussy if abit out. I haven't spent much time in Brisbane before, so would be keen to find a place with people who are happy to share some local knowledge. Move date isn't fixed but am looking to get a place locked in, then i will be able to get a date set to book the boat over and drive up from Melbourne.

I love home cooked meals as I have food allergies and so cooking, music and dancing are therapy. Don’t worry I won’t play music loud or when someone else is around as also I respect the neighbors… I am very busy hadly at home I leave morning and come back late night or if I am home I would often be in my room. I don’t smoke/vape or drink and I prefer a house that is no smoking 🚭 drinking is okay I don’t mind.
