Hi there! I am a 28 year old interior designer who likes produce markets, botanical gardens, and cooking all with a healthy dose of sunshine and fresh air. I take great pride in my living space and I hope to share with someone who identifies with this. At this point, my current lease ends in August 2018 (I'm being early!) hopefully, there is something ideal along the way. Hope to hear from you :)

Hi everyone, I'm Tika, 28. I'm coming to Melbourne to work full time in Mount Waverley as a supporting teacher from late April to September 25. I'm tidy, clean, fun, easy going, sociable, respectful, and quiet person. I've lived in a shared house for many years. I'm happy doing house chores together. I highly respect people privacy and space. But I'm always up for a chat and make friends. I like to go out every now and then for grabbing a drink, socializing, and dancing. I keep myself fit and healthy. I'm looking for an accommodation near train stations which have Glen Waverley line, as I don't drive. But I don't mind to combine transportation (Tram and train, no buses). Furnished and private room is a must. I'd like to live in quiet house, but occasionally party is okay. I'm looking forward to hearing from you :)
Hi I am an introvert who loves to socialise with housemates and I view the people I live with as extended fam. I also value having my own social life external to the house. I spend quite a bit of time in my room studying, but love to have a beer or cuppa at the end of the day to debrief and have a laugh. I love cleaning when I have the time (especially as procrastination tactics) and I clean up after myself as I go. My only cleaning request of others is to keep the kitchen clean. I can be shy to start with sometimes, but it doesn't last long. I am studying in the city and working in the burbs. I love my work so I won't be complaining at the end of the day unless to problem slove. I like a dance and I like to go to music gigs. I am pretty positive and happy most of the time, I am a good listener too. I try to stay aware of what others like, get annoyed at and avoid, and I don't mind talking through house mate issues in a sensitive way, even if it gets uncomfortable in the moment, am pretty good at bouncing back from conflict. My previous housemates still try to get me to live with them, so I suppose that is a good sign that I am good to live with!
Hi, Im Chris I work as a self employed plumber, I'm 30 and have a dog (Brock, read his info below) I'm pretty quite during weekdays, sometimes out for dinner or drinks but try to keep it fairly quiet. I aim to keep active and when i'm not working i try exercise a few times a week, starting surfing and keeping on top of all the over hobbies I've taken up over my life hah. Weekends i work sometimes so try to keep it under control of but more often than not end out with a few boys and still trying to figure out that fabled hung-over cure. Brock is still a pup, close to 6 months old now and is very easy going and likes to sleep all day. He is a purebreed rhodesian ridgeback with a liver nose. He will be a bigger than average dog but is well underway with his training and has plenty of toys to keep him amused when im away at work. He is off to obedience camp in a month to learn new tricks as well.
Hey guys my name is Giorgia and i'm from Italy.i'm moving out of my place in the next month and would really like to have my own room.I'm quiet, respectful and really friendly.I really need something close to transport and with friendly and respectful people, thank you!!
Dutch guy, 25, working holiday maker looking to stay for a while in Melbourne and find a nice room and job in hospitality or office. About me - in the last 6 months I've quit my job in the Netherlands, booked a one way ticket to Melbourne, worked about 2 months in dairy farming, went on a 2 month roadtrip through Tasmania and walked the Overland track. I'm easy going, open minded, like yoga, cooking, calisthenics and having fun. As a roommate I'm neat, you can join me for dinner and would be great to have a drink together every now and then.

I'm Sophie, a 24 year old Kiwi who made the move to Melbourne just over 2 years ago. I have been living out of home for the last 6 years so I'm no rookie on living with others or cleaning up after myself. I work full time and love to come home and share a glass of wine over dinner with some banter. Looking for housemates I can become friends with and not just go to our rooms and do our own thing every night, however I do love time to myself as well. I'm very tidy and love a clean house. Passionate about household plants , dogs and Beyonce.
Hi, I've just moved to Melbourne on a working holiday visa after some travelling around Asia. Originally from Ireland, I work in accounting but I'm not not a stereotypical boring accountant 😂 looking to move in with some fun sociable people! I'm into sport -gaelic (Irish) football and tag rugby, socialising and doing fun stuff at the weekends! I'm a clean and respectful housemate! 😊 Looking for a private room not a shared room!
Looking for a housemate! We're looking for someone someone who is easygoing, house trained, considerate and is chilled. We really hope to find someone who is willing to be a part of the house, who is social and not always hiding in their room, but keeps regular hours and is respectful of others! We are two girls aged 26, who work/study, super friendly, chill, we love a good chat and having the odd night out. But during the week we are quite busy with work, so we hope to find someone with a similar lifestyle. The apartment is in an awesome location right near PT, 2 minute walk to Carlisle street, Balaclava station, coles, and tram stop and 10 mins from Chapel. The room has built in wardrobes and comes mostly unfurnished but a mattress can be provided if necessary! 750 per calendar month and bills are split 3 ways. Move in around the 1st of June. If you're interested, pm me
Hello! I work full time in the CBD, currently looking for a place to call home for a while. Always down for a cheeky bev, but also need my own downtime to decompress. I’m not pedantic about cleaning, but I thrive in a clean environment. I try to keep busy on weekends whether it be going to a yoga class, or catching up with mates.
Hey there! My first name is Steph but I generally go by my middle name Olive :) I’ve been living on my own for 2 years now and I’m finding it both expensive and rather lonely! I work part time in an office job and on the side run my own graphic design business. I have two “house mates” who come with me everywhere I go - they are Ouroboros my blue tongue lizard and Barney my rescue Whippet. Ideally I would like to have them with me, of course, as they are my companions. I’d like a place with someone who has an understanding of pets especially dogs and even better - rescue dogs! Barney can be an escape artist so there would need to be caution when coming and going from the house or unit. I say my max is $250 but I could probably stretch to $300. I have to give my landlord 14 days notice, so I'd be available to move in 2 weeks from agreeing on a place! At this stage I’m also only looking at staying for 6 months min, probably more, as I have overseas plans in the future - but this may be extended, I’m just not sure yet! I’m a very clean and conscientious person, and love my alone time but also love a good catch up, dinner date or glass of wine! I will respect your boundaries, too. I’d prefer a female housemate/s but am not adverse to a male (or whatever else you might be).
Organised, laid back, and tidy. Home cooked meals and regular exercise are important to me. I currently work part-time and own a little chihuahua/ jack russell (boy). I'll always contribute to grocery shopping and to any repairs that need to be done around the house. I can also contribute the following to any household I join: - a large dining table - a medium sized silver shag rug - some pots/ pans + cups/plates/bowls - small coffee table - medium size mirror - large vintage chair - (idk how else to describe it) *Preferably an unfurnished room as I have my own stuff* Being near a tram/train stop is vital for my work commitments. I love having friends over and doing some occasional gathering. However, I respect your alone time and your own space as well as tidying up after myself, and generally expect the same from you. I'm very interested in teaming up with a group of people or joining an existing household, but NO COUPLES pls.
Friendly, easy going couple looking to move into a clean, fun flat where people are friends as well as housemates. We would also be interested in teaming up with another couple and renting a whole property together. Flexible when it comes to location - our priority is to live with great people as we have been lucky enough to live with strangers in the past who we now count as some of our closest friends.
Hey there, I'm Dan. I'm 27 and work as a freight train driver, planning to start studying mid-year to be a winemaker. I enjoy living in a chilled space where people do their own thing, but also love getting to know my housemates and having a laugh. I like cooking when I get the chance and trying to stay fit and active. In the cooler months I do a bit of snowboarding and when it's warmer I like to go for a fish. I also love all the usual Melbourne stuff, eating out and going to gig's etc. Anyhow, if there's anything else you'd like to know just ask :)

Heya! In need of a new place as I will be moving to Melbourne for a full time job as a youth worker! I love keeping fit, doing gym classes, yoga and going for walks with friends. I'm keen to explore Melbourne's food, and don't mind a drink or two, but also enjoy a cup of tea at home ( I come with a large tea collection). Have lived out of home before back home and have studied In Melbourne for uni in the past too. I'm a thoughtful and considerate housemate who does fair share of cleaning, chipping in for house stuff, and cooking! Looking for a nice room in a house, preferably with a built in robe. Also don't mind sharing with any fur babies :) Looking to share with females or a mix or females and males.
I'm from the South of England and currently on my gap year. Currently looking for a place to stay while I work for the last few months I have in Australia now that I’ve completed my travels. I’m sociable and easygoing, happy to help with chores if needs be and like to keep my part of shared accommodation clean and tidy. Love keeping fit, chilling out, doing my own thing or getting together with friends for a drink and a good night!
