Hi, I'm Kon, a Bassist who is very sociable, easygoing, vibrant, respectful and has a good sense of humour. Originally I'm Thai but grew up in New Zealand. I lived in Sydney for about five years, worked full time as well as studied and travelled around. I've been in Melbourne for a year, studying part time and working full time in a hotel on Chapel St. I'm gonna live in Melbourne for at least three years to continue my music career. I'm in love with Reggae and Funk music (actually all genres but these genres are on top), I also love Art, animals, psychology, philosophy, being with people and drinking. Cheers
Hi, Bonjour, Hola, I am mid 40's, French-Australian male with an inch of Spanish culture. Really enjoy cooking for me and others, watching art movies (MIFF, Nova, Astor) and going out with friends, reading Saturday Paper then debating with friends, reading books (French and English and tiny bit of Spanish) and listening to good music. Not a big fan of TV except when its good (e.g. Handmaid's Tale was really good and Gruen Transfer season is on now!). Practice yoga, rock climbing and swimming on a weekly basis. Don't smoke. Full time job so my week days are pretty busy so won't see me a lot before the evening time. I'm easy going, respectful and equally happy to socialise with housemates as well as keep to myself. Clean, tidy and careful with others belongings. Active on environmental and carbon footprint (water, recycling, lighting). Happy to answer any questions you might have. Regards, A bientot, Hasta luego
Hey! I'm Charlotte. I am from Germany and on a WHV in Australia. I'm looking for a fully furnished place to share with friendly, chilled people. Preferably I would like to move in mid of October. So a bit about me. I am a friendly, considerate, open-minded and clean person. In my spare time I love cooking, so I would love to cook with my housemates or just hang out now and again. Also, I love travelling and enjoy meeting people from other countries. On weekends I enjoy hanging out with friends. On week nights I like considering going for a run, going to the gym or practicing some yoga. Lately, I've started to learn surfing, which I am very keen to improve. I also enjoy a good balance of quiet time/privacy too. If you think I might be a good fit for your place, contact me! :-) Would stretch budget a bit for right place. Looking forward to hearing from you guys!
Hi my names Harry and I'm from London, I work full time and have dual citizenship of Australia. I'm a fun and out going person who loves to socialise but also understands personal space. I work full so I'm up and out for most of the day. I'm tidy and clean and so you won't find any of my dirty boxers lying around ha!
I am a 20 year old Kiwi who moved here 4 years ago to attend uni. I have a strong sense of humour, LOVE animals, am quiet but I don't mind going out for a drink now and again - not a party animal tho. I am really into art, reading and Netflix, I can make great pasta and can reach high shelves :) Not looking to move until February 20th!

Hi there, My name is jess and I am a 30 year old from Melbourne looking for a room in the South. I work for a humanitarian organisation so I have a passion for people, the world, meaningful conversations and solitude. I love music, art, culture and languages (always love practising my French, which is terrible, but I still try :). I also love cooking, food, wine, travel, adventures, running, yoga and anything active. I'm after a place that has some open minded people inside who respect one another, where its cool to have dinner and chat together, or down time by one's self. If this sounds like your place then it would be great to hear from you.
Looking for a nice modern 2 bed apartment/house. Currently staying with a couple in an apartment block on St Kilda Road. Robin has been here since April, working full time in sales, in Box Hill. So being close to a train station is fairly necessary. Marcus has come over from England in the last couple of weeks. Looking to find a permanent residence before he finds a job (which will be imminent after sorting somewhere). He's come over here with a good amount of money (can be proven at request). We can both comfortably pay our rents and bond. Can provide references also. Preferably not wanting to be sharing with anyone other than ourselves. Get in touch if you think we are suitable! Thanks
I'm a single, bubbly professional in my late twenties. I work as a lawyer (don't hold that against me) in civil litigation. Needless to say, i'm responsible and considerate. Move time negotiable. In terms of lifestyle, I enjoy the occasional mid week drink however for the most part, i'm pretty chilled as I work semi long hours and gym. My social life is pretty packed and in the weekends, I enjoy beaching, brunching, shopping and am often at friends places or bars on Chapel. I also have some furniture including a designer dining table and chairs, stainless steel fridge, art, outside table and chairs and much more which I am willing to furnish a place with or sell.
I'm a responsible guy, really easy-going, respectful of other people's space and expecting the same in return. Of course we can have talks and share some meals and experiences. I love listening to music (different genres), I play a little bit guitar and recently I bought an ukulele to try something new 😉. I like movies (from Hollywood mainly, so I make references to Oscars nominees or winners every time I can), I love football (soccer), play basketball (at least I try to) and recently I bought a bike so I hope to use it a lot. Also I'm taking my first steps into photography. I'd like to share and learn about all these topics in Melbourne, and of course if you want to learn some words in Spanish I can teach you 'mi amigo'. I'm gonna stay in Melbourne for at least one more year and I'm interested in finding a private room, so let me know what you think. Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Cheers!!
Hi my name is Tasha, I am 27 years old from the UK. I am a young professional and working full-time in insurance. I am also an Australian permanent resident. I am a non-smoker and I am a very tidy, clean and respectable housemate. I am also very easy going, enjoy going to the gym and having quiet evenings in during the week. I love socialising with friends and housemates on the weekends! If you think I would be a good fit I would love to hear from you :)
Hey everyone, my name's Amber. Turned 30 this year and looking for a massive lifestyle and inspirational change - want to get away from Sydney as soon as possible and relocate to Melbourne. A bit of background on me - I've been a multi disciplinary Artist since I was a child, with a main focus on Acting, Singing and Musicianship. Completed my tertiary education in Acting and I'm currently doing distance study in Electronic Sound Production and Indigenous Studies, to help expand my mind and teach me new skills. I love to read and learn, have solid conversations and a good laugh, share knowledge - books and artworks make up 70% of my earthly goods! A few of my interests include Reading, Playing Guitar, Socializing with friends on the weekend, Writing, Dancing, Acting, Cooking, Travel, Theatre, Music Production and Songwriting, Singing, Yoga and Martial Arts, Gaming (Xbox 360 - I have one to bring to the house and a load of games, if that's your thing too), binge watching Netflix or getting into some hardcore SBS on demand / ABC iview when I have free time, Photography and Art of all forms. Social justice, human/civil rights and equality are vital concepts to me. By no means a definitive list, but it gives you a bit of an idea. I'm friendly, respectful, fun, keep things in the house clean and am a weird balance of someone who likes to say hi and be social round the house when it suits people, but can also respect your space/privacy and like to enjoy my own when I'm feeling hermity too - hopefully you won't be the type to take it personally if i need some time out to myself. Not a precious princess about things and am really adverse to passive aggressive types - if you're not the sort of person that can just have a calm, upfront chat and nip it in the bud if I accidentally do anything to annoy you, then we probably won't enjoy living together. I'm a smoker, although more than happy to go outside if you're not, as this is most people's preference, I'm not obnoxious about it and respect people's needs. Constantly burning fragrant oils / candles and incense anyway and am very conscious of mutual space, nothing like coming home to a house that feels welcoming and smells divine. Not a huge party animal, though I do enjoy occasionally having people round sometimes - during the week I'm pretty chill (although, also not boring hey - totally not adverse to cracking some wine or beers while cooking / having a friend round when the mood strikes - I'm a pretty mean cook, double plus bonus!). Weekends are always easier for getting out and about or catching up with people. If this sounds like someone you wouldn't mind sharing space with, let me know. Thanks in advance mates, look forward to meeting some like minds - keen for a long-term place I can make a home, with cool, fuss-free housemate/s who like the sound of my listing. Looking to make the move ASAP soon as I find something. Let me know if you have any questions. Peace and Thanks, Amber

Needing a place by the end of the month. My name is Mahlia and I'm a 28 year old female currently working full time Monday to Friday. I am looking for a chilled out house where it can feel like a home. Not a huge drinker but don't mind the odd night out. A considerate and trustworthy housemate who is up for a chat or hang out. Love getting outdoors and exercising around St Kilda and the beach. Massive yoga fan and generally eat pretty healthy but I do have the self control of a small child when it comes to sweets. I have a bike and would like to be able to store it somewhere safe also. *Ideally looking for something 5 minutes or less walking distance form Acland Street :)
a little about myself-My name is Ilya, I am 24 years old. I am originally from Miami but I have lived In New York and Los Angeles. The last year and a half I have been living in Thailand, working as a teacher, and traveling. Upon quitting my job I went traveling around southeast asia. After 3 months of the backpacking/pirate life I have moved to Melbourne. I am here to have a good time and save money. But most importantly I am trying to get back into the arts, (I used to work in film and act in Los Angeles). I plan on staying in Melbourne for the foreseeable future too so Im really trying to build a life here. Furthermore, I am working on a book that I will try to sell around February (if you're nice to me ill let you read it). As for me, I love to read, write, and take aimless walks. I'm social but also I plan to be pretty busy with working and pursuing my projects. I arrived in Melbourne 2 weeks ago and I'm using this week to explore the city, find work and find a good permanent place. Im starting construction next week too!
