$250/week•34 year old male
Hey I’ve just moved down to Wollongong I was living in Thailand for a while. I’m from Sydney but staying down here indefinitely. I have George....the most beautiful dog on the planet! He is 1 years old..highly intelligent, never barks, always smiling, and loves other people. He is my world. He is also incredibly handsome. However, I have found I do spend too much time talking to my dog and starting to think I may need more human friends down here and living with other humans may be a good start.

$200/week•32 year old male
Hello, My name is Andrew and am looking for a room in Wollongong as soon as possible. Here is a little bit about myself: I am a 32 year old male who is originally from Canada and have lived in Australia for about 6 years total. I came to visit Australia when I was young and loved it so much that I told myself I would come back to live forever. I was finally able to secure a permanent visa so I could live my dream. I have a couple university degrees (Psychology/Education) and will be starting first year Medicine at UOW late January. I am a quiet, sociable and easy going person that enjoy's going out and having a good time once in a while. My hobbies include: hiking, camping, fishing, gardening and just relaxing outdoors in general. I am also a very passionate cook and love making food for others. I should emphasize that I am looking for a place with housemates who are clean, respectful and quiet (especially at night time after 11 pm). I am going to be working very hard in med school and would not be suited to a party house. I need a place conductive to studying. I must mention that I always pay rent on time. Finally, I am very neat and tidy, a clean home is a happy home! I look forward to taking a look at your place if we seem like compatible flat mates. Please send me a message with a little about yourself/s and we will go from there. Thank you for the consideration! Kind regards, Andrew

Hi I’m Henry a 23yo male potentially looking to move into a new place. I work full time as a mechanical engineering traniee and am in my final (7th) year of part time study at UOW. My main interests are music gigs, hiking/outdoors, camping, fishing and sports. I’m originally from country NSW so also love the occasional trip back out west. I consider myself to be a pretty social person so would ideally move in with a group that like spending a fair bit of time together, or at least like to cook dinner together every now and then and enjoy a beer on the weekend. Looking to move into an existing sharehouse ideally having 3-4 occupants including myself.

I am a student looking for long term (12 months+) accommodation while I study. I study history and photography at UOW. I am left wing and care strongly about social and environmental issues. I am a fairly quiet roommate who enjoys cooking and am pretty tidy. I identify as non-binary (assigned male at birth) so I'm looking for somewhere LGBT+ friendly.

$180/week•50 year old female
Career changer studying mental health and counselling/meditation. After pet sitting and moving around for the past 12 months I'm now looking for a quiet affordable place with some space of my own to settle down a while (6 months - 2 or 3 years depending on compatibility /lifestyle etc. I'm clean and tidy, have a bit of a green thumb, and can cook. I'd be happy to cook a meal together or cook for you once a week but like to keep things simple most of the time. I often enjoy some good conversation and have a warm friendly personality but also like a lot of quiet time to myself and privacy. Pet sitting/house sitting from Gong to Shoalhaven and far South Coast has been an amazing experience, but I now need to complete student placement hours and attend professional development workshops in Sydney so it's time to stay put and build on connections in the Wollongong area. My daughter lives in Port Kembla and I know people here so this is a great location for me. (I come with or without my little black cat - with would be nice but not essential).

Looking for a teamup in the Wollongong area. Budget is $260 but willing to go more for a bigger room/ensuite with 1-2 other flatmates. Preferably would like my own bathroom which I'm willing to pay more for. I need the space for my own desk, storage etc. Move date is from now till the deadline which is Jan 20 but would like to move out much earlier.
