Design architect, straight, mature, friendly, and reliable. Have been renting for the past few years, have seen and experienced all kinds of things, been a housemate, landlord, caretaker myself. If you can read this, then I'm still looking! Have a 2.4m long table, so it needs to go somewhere. Also 2 x corner chairs and a car. Don't need to be furnished. Speaks Mandarin and Malay and some other useless dialects too. Career driven, I'm always busy with something work related. I'm also flexible with the location, as long as it is not too far away from public transport.
The apartment features high ceilings with skylights, modern kitchen including new appliances and dishwasher, modern bathroom and two huge balconies. The front facing the city with space for outdoor seating and BBQ facilities and the back wrap-around terrace balcony perfect for catching the afternoon sun. Super convenient location in Balmain, walk to Darling St shops, bus, ferry, and parks.
Hello, We are a Turkish couple and our names are Ozan and Ceren. We are 25 years old and we will stay in Sydney for at least a year for educational purposes. Beside education, we will work full time too. We are clean, friendly and quiet couple. We respect others privacy as well. We don't smoke or don't have pet. We'd like to rent the room from December to June. Let us know what you think, best regards.
House in Balmain with your own car park (for very busy Balmain streets) and a fabulous backyard and deck too. Your room is gorgeously bright and huge windows for great ventilation throughout the entire property, it comes with TV, King Size Bed & frame, chest of drawers, mirror.. Apart from your huge room, there is the kitchen, bathroom & laundry (inc dryer) to share with one other only. A big plus is that the bills are included in the rent. Oh, and we are right down the street from Darling St (maybe 3 mins walk) to what I think is the best section of cafes, pubs and shops. Also, the bus to the city is 2-3 mins walk either way and the ferry is a 10 min walk, but such a beautiful way to start and finish the day.
Hey, I'm a 24-year-old Music Producer moving to Sydney from England on a Working Holiday Visa 21st November. Staying in a hostel for two weeks, so will be able to move in somewhere 6th December! I'm a Clean, Tidy & Easy-going guy. I like to have fun and socialise, but also enjoy my own space as well. Looking forward to meeting new people, and the right people to start my Australian journey with!
I my name is Andrew. I have always been a city boy, but several years ago I moved away for work. I have just been lucky enough to spend the last 3 months road tripping across America and i will be returning to our fine shores on the 13th of December. I work in the electronic security industry as a project manager I'm very active but also like to hide from the world and home is like a haven to me. My work normally sees me out the door early and back by late afternoon, Monday to Friday.
My name is Gary and I'm originally from England. I live with my partner Erin who is from Canada. We are big travellers and have spent a lot of time abroad but for the last six months we have been calling Sydney our home. I work as an electrician in the city centre and Erin works from home as an online English teacher. We are an easygoing, active couple. We love the outdoors and exploring new parts of Sydney. We spend our free time at the gym, fishing, going for runs, or sometimes we just simply stay in to watch films and Netflix. We both enjoy cooking a lot and of course a good BBQ on weekends. We aren't big drinkers or partiers and try to keep life pretty relaxed. We're looking for a change of pace and a new place to call home north of the city and some new flatmates with a similar mind. Feel free to contact us for more details or offers. We look forward to hearing from you.
Hi! I'm currently a first year comms student at UTS. (I'm originally from Singapore, so i defo can cook good asian food lol.) I'm looking for a place to move into after my contract with the campus housing is over. I'd say I'm nice, respectful of boundaries and clean. I be that type of person that wipes down surfaces unconsciously while having a conversation. I do like to go to museums and weekend markets to snag some good bargains. Since summer is coming up, I forsee myself heading to the beach in between work/school days. That's it about me :-)
Hi I’m kelly! 😊 I’m looking for a room in a sharehouse from November 14 ideally for 12 months though I would consider a six month stay if that’s all you have. A little about me; I’m 28 and relatively new to Sydney having moved from Melbourne in January (originally from Tasmania). I am currently taking a break from my studies and am focusing on enjoying casual classes for the summer and getting to know Sydney better. I’m creative, ambitious, and enjoy a good stroll through the park, exploring new cafes and any excuse to get to the theatre! As a housemate I’m always up for a good bit of banter over wine or coffee but also respectful of everyone’s need for space and to do their own thing. Whilst I do enjoy a good social gathering I’m looking for a home that prefers to keep the party more so outside than in. I’m allergic to cats and most dogs so, sadly I cannot live with pets. I’m also not interested in a share room or a smoker friendly home. Please message me on here if you have anything suitable. Cheers, Kel
I'm super clean and respect others space, always get along well with my housemates and very happy to have pets in the house. I'm good with visitors and happy to fit into whatever the running dynamic is regarding house rules. I work in hospitality so my hours are typically quite opposite to most and I also pursue acting. I'm quite busy but always happy to chat!
We are moving to Sydney as we have both been offered new jobs. I will be working as a food product development manager and Adam will be working as a professional photographer. Adam is very funny and I'm not funny at all but I make up for that by laughing a lot. I used to be a chef so nothing makes me happier than a spotless kitchen and Adam likes to garden and fix things (he's really amazingly handy!). We’d prefer to live in a house with a little garden so Adam can put his green fingers to work. We both love dogs and are very easily won over by pet owners. We are both non-smokers and very responsible drinkers.
Super close to both the city and all that Balmain has to offer. The House is gorgeous... ive just taken over the lease and in the process of moving in. Modern and boutique features with a fantastic indoor/outdoor flow. The owners have done a rocking renovation & the house is flooded with natural light & smart layout!! I am renting out the master suit which occupies the whole top floor of the house. You have a private studio style bathroom with shower and a large bathtub, balcony, built In wardrobes and air-conditioning. We will also share an extra 3rd Room - office/ chill room/ spare bedroom for any visitors on the ground floor. Only 18 minutes on the bus to townhall.
Hey my name is Afina, I’m 20, very social, like to stay active and love having a meal/ bev with my mates! I’m an ex basketball and rugby athlete but am currently nursing a knee injury so I do enjoy watching the NRL and union on the weekends. I will be working as a head trainer at F45 working 25-30 hours a week in Artarman so I can pay bills on time. Next January I’ll be studying at uni so I will be out of the house quite a bit trying to balance study and work. I’m super laid back and easy to get along with so feel free to hit me up if I’m someone you would want in a future housemate, cheers!
Really down to earth, friendly, accommodating and love to make my household feel like my family. Very clean and love to be sociable on the weekends. Will not hesitate to bring up issues in the house but also look to resolve them ASAP though this rarely happens. I am working full time in the cbd from dec 10th after finishing uni in Canberra. I never commit past a 2 month probation period to make sure I am wholly happy with the set up and not locked into something that doesn’t work for over a year. I love sports, music, video games, exercising, gym, books etc. and generally pride myself on being very easy to get along with. The max budget is a poor estimate and i'd likely be able to go for something slightly ($20-40) more expensive if it's nice.
Fully furnished queen size room! Light and airy, in a charming cottage with courtyard in beautiful Balmain for $300 per week. The room comes fully furnished, with a queen bed and build in wardrobe. Can be flexible with furniture. The courtyard has a nice seating area for breakfast etc. The house is fully furnished with a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and heaps of storage space. Location is ideal: ▶️ less than 1 minute to bus stop, which takes you DIRECT into the CITY / QVB. ▶️ Walking distance to Balmain Ferry Wharf (which takes you straight to Circular Quay) ▶️ Walking distance to Balmain shopping area, Woolies, Darling Street with plenty of cafes, bars, pubs, restaurants and shops. ▶️ 20 minutes to Broadway Shopping Centre ▶️ 25 minutes to Sydney Uni and UTS Balmain is a beautiful, friendly & save suburb with plenty of parks & wonderful water views to the Harbour Bridge. It is wonderful to walk around the harbour. You will be living with a friendly, professional female in her early 30's. I am looking for someone who is reliable, responsible, cleans up after themselves and loves animals, as I have a beautiful and well-behaved rescue dog, he will give you endless cuddles if you wish :) This is a home not a typical shared house. It is a home and I would like you also to treat it as such. I do respect my flatmates privacy and like to come home to a safe, clean and relaxing home after a hard day at work. Of course I am also up for a nice chat or wine and dinner, if our schedule allows. Ideally you are a full time worker or a student and looking for a safe and relaxing environment to study and / or another pet owner. My dog gets on very well with other dogs & cats. Bond is 4 weeks and has to be payed in advance. Please no party animals or time wasters. I look forward to hearing from you :)
I'm a 24 year old girl from Sweden, I work full time in the CBD in sales and marketing. On my free time I like going to the gym and hang out with friends. I'm easy going and tidy, looking for a quiet place to call home!
30 year old professional, working in insurance.... exciting stuff I know ;) Fairly laid back, like to keep an active lifestyle. During the week will usually be gym after work and chilling. Weekends I'll generally be seeing friends and family. Big sport fan (AFL my favourite). Also love to travel, try new restaurants, bars etc. Dont mind a couple of drinks on the weekend but definitely no party animal. Lived in plenty of sharehouses in the past so no issues there. Relocating to Sydney from Adelaide for work late November. Feel free to flick me a message if you think I'd be a good fit for your place. Nick
Hi I've just finished Uni and want to move out at some point over the next few months, just looking for the right place :) I am a respectful, clean and sociable human being.
I'm a working professional. I enjoy the cafe lifestyle, catching up with friends, going for walks, and also quiet nights in. I like living in a clean and tidy home. I'm 42 however feel younger at heart :) I'm friendly, considerate, and mature minded. Looking to share with someone who is easy going and considers home to be a place to relax and wind down after a days' work. Happy to hang out and also respectful of other people's space and belongings (would like the same in return). I'm a non-smoker so living with non-smokers is important to me. I'd be happy to move as soon as I find a place I like (my move in date if flexible at this time). Looking forward to chatting further and hopefully meet :)
