** No longer looking for accommodation pending application. Will update status soon ** Hello flatmates, I am a 49 y/o, young at heart, single female - looking for accommodation in/near Warrnambool. I'm in no rush to find a place just yet, just looking to maybe team up with someone or if there is a 1 or 2 person household (40+) who is looking for another housemate perhaps?! I have 3 teen/adult children (23,20,18) who have recently flown the coop, so find I am now free. How good is that huh! My youngest child is at Monash Uni studying Bachelor of Finance & Banking and my older 2 are in employment (television & property). I currently live in Hoppers Crossing but I am looking for a sea change and have my heart set on Warrnambool. I have yet to secure employment in the Warrnambool area, but I do have an income to support myself until I find a job. I'm finding that Companies prefer to hire a local, hence my need to move to Warrnambool first, before applying for jobs. My usual occupation is Administration within the Logistics Industry (Transport, Warehousing, Distribution). I wouldn't mind having a change of career as well, so I may even look at studying Nutritional Medicine or the like whilst in Warrnambool. I am friendly, easy-going, reliable, honest, clean living and tidy person. I have always been a non-smoker and don't dabble in drugs. I am a social drinker and a lover of animals, especially dogs. My interests incl. natural health/therapies, clean eating & working out (gym). I do 'juicing', where I juice and make smoothies daily - all part of my clean eating. Don't get me wrong - I'm no health freak, I do love my 'not so healthy' food but find if I stray too much I feel crappy. I am relaxed and flexible so can work around flatmates as to when I am able to use the kitchen to do 'my thing'. Maybe you'd like to try some yummy & not-so-yummy concoctions I whip up :)) You will find I will just 'up and off'. I'll most likely be going for drives to explore the area and surrounds. I may also take off for a day or two to visit my kids. I love the beach, so I dare say I'll be down there daily. Once home, I do like a little privacy, but every now and then I would also like to spend some time with flatmates over lunch/dinner with a cider or glass of red, sharing stories and getting to know each other. Feel free to make contact if you have any suggestions or offers for accommodation. Thank you and take care.
I am independent, friendly. Enjoy dining out and chilling at home with a glass of wine, being at the beach and walking my jack russell. I work part time in a professional capacity and hold quals as Art Therapist so I am also very keen on art making. Not into the pub scene at all. Into art galleries, weekend markets and making new friends. Hoping to match up with a female of similar age to set up house in the Anglesea area.
Hi There, I grew up in the area and am returning home after 10 years working on boats overseas. I'm an easy going guy who loves a laugh and a bit of banter. I enjoy keeping fit and will give most activities a crack but mostly surfing, yoga, hiking, rock climbing and golf. I enjoy taking off down the coast in my camper on weekends. I'm hoping to find a room to rent in the Jan Juc area with some like minded people. Cheers, Paul
Hi, My name is Katherine and I am an Artist and I am also a single mum having lost my husband 6 months prior to my son being born. My son Nathaniel is now 10yrs old and is in grade 5. We are looking for long-term accommodation preferably around Aireys Inlet or Anglesea Im on the quieter side, but can chat for hours if engaged in an interesting conversation. I love the outdoors and my son loves swimming. My hobbies include long walks, painting animals or nature, playing piano, building something awesome with Nathaniel and his collection of lego or watching a good thought provoking movie. Nathaniel loves his soccer and learns piano and singing. We are both looking for a quieter more relaxed lifestyle away from the city. We have an 8yr old staghound dog named Sasha who is very gentle and loves his pats. Sasha and Nathaniel have grown up together and are like brothers. Due to his breed his life span is about 10yrs. He sleeps mostly all day curled up in his kennel until his afternoon walk at 2pm (yes he can tell the time! Without fail everyday he will get up and stretch and walk to his lead wherever that may be). We also have two cats one of whom is 18yrs old and is very shy but extremely affectionate. The other is a Bengal cat who taught Sasha how to curl up on a garden chair! Oscar our bengal is an outdoor cat. Sasha, Missy and Oscar have worming and flea treatment every month, vet checked every 6 months anf have yearly vaccinations. All of them have been with us since puppy and kitten hood so are well trained and clean I have reliable references for each animal and I would be more than willing to pay an extra animal bond (note: this is offered as assurance and peace of mind for you, in no way are they destructive or troublesome). My son and I are very respecting of other peoples property and privacy. Ideally we are looking for 2 rooms but we are also happy to share a large room (which we comfortably do now) as he has a loft bed. I would also be happy to start a new lease if you are looking. Please contact me if you have a place or would consider moving into a place together. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Just moved back to surf coast after tour guiding in the kimberleys & west coast, looking to move back near the coast. Very active, hiking, surfing, sports. Enjoy others company, but also understand 'me' time. Neat & tidy. working full time as a carpenter
Hey! I’m 30, originally from Melbourne, have just moved back to vic after living in Central Aus on and off for the last eight years working in arts and then several different community roles. I’ll be studying Nursing and Midwifery at Deakin uni in Geelong. I’m tidy, responsible, warm and friendly to live with- enjoy cooking and sharing meals and having a laugh. Hoping to find a nice sharehouse with environmentally conscious/ queer friendly or likeminded people!
Hello, My name is Andrea, and I am seeking a peaceful, spacious home preferably with my own bathroom. As a friendly, respectful and reliable person, I make an excellent flatmate/tennant. Would love to be within 15 minutes drive of a nice beach. So anywhere between Geelong and Angelsea would be great. I am currently living in country Vic. And want to move to be closer to work, the beach and other activities. My interests are: design, reading, cooking, music, yoga, cycling and the beach. Currently learning to surf:) A healthy lifestyle is really important to me. So a smoke free environment is essential. I do not mind children or pets, but cannot correct the profile boxes, so please disregard the no children or pets boxes.
I’m self funded. I’m clean and tidy, very house trained lol. I love cooking and I’m a bit of a foodie, I love to socialise, I’m not a party animal but I do enjoy the odd night out. I’m not a big drinker but I do enjoy a bevy. I’m really easy going and chilled, I’m a non drug user too
I’m easy going, friendly, fun to hang out with and get along with most people. I’m also clean and tidy, respectful of others space and generally an awesome flat mate 😁. Work full time as an Arborist at Surfcoast Tree Services, in my spare time like mountain biking, swimming, going to the beach and a cheeky drink or two. Gimme a shout if you think you can help out. Cheers
I love meeting new people, travelling and working around Australia and the world. I have lived in over 10 share houses and loved them all. I am going back to uni to finish my Bachelor of Education and would like a long term base. I am a well mannered, clean and respectful person who also loves to socialise and have a good time!
Hello, pleasure to meet you ! I'm Tracy, I'm just finishing a year abroad of travelling in Europe. Originally from Melbourne, I'm looking for a sea change, and a bit more of a peaceful lifestyle. Before my travels, I finished my Bachelor of Industrial Design and worked in the automotive industry for 4 years. During my travels, my interest in cooking has grown as I was working in a kitchen, so I'm hoping to kickstart this direction when I return to Australia. I also enjoy photography and freelance on the side. On days off I will be exploring and finding beauty with my film camera. I am easy to live with, can keep to myself, I'm tidy and don't mind doing house chores. I do have a Netherlands dwarf rabbit, her name is Luna, and I would like her to stay with me if possible. I hope that we can find a place to call home.
Nice quiet house, just behind Anglesea golf course, 3 km from the beach. Next to trails and tracks for walks and mountain biking. Only 30 minutes from Waurn Ponds and 15 from Torquay. The house has a generous size with bir and plenty of light.
The house is on a rural property near Torquay beach and the successful house sharer will have their own private section of the house which comprises bedroom with queen bed, living room with TV and couch, and bathroom.
Hey I'm Pat, I'm 20 years old and from the Mornington Peninsula. I am moving to geelong to study science at deakin university. I am a fun, clean and organised person with lots to offer. I love to cook, surf, hike, fish, camp and play hockey. I play hockey at a high level which takes up most of my time during winter. I am completely new to the geelong area so i am also in search of a new social network so i will be trying to put myself out there and participate in as many extra curricular activities as possible outside my sudies and hockey.
Hi, I'm looking for flatmates (1 or 2) to rent a furnished house together. I'm very easy going and relaxed but like to keep things in order. I like to be active with my cycling or going to the gym...and a walk on the beach to unwind sometimes. I work full time in Torquay and in my spare time I enjoy having a drink and cook something delicious (not necessarily healthy haha), or watching sports or a movie. I frequently go to Melbourne on weekends. Would like to have social flatmates but with each privacy regarded.
Cute cottage in a small town close to Geelong, The house has a BBQ, dog run (will consider pets), a large backyard and plenty of off street parking outside including a carport. Inside the house has a kitchen dinner and a lounge room with fireplace (brilliant in winter) and a split system heater/cooler. Inverleigh is a lovely town to live in away from the bright lights of Geelong but still an easy commute. The house is fully furnished except the available room, although I can provide some basic furnishings. If you have extra furniture there is a large shed that can be used for storage.
Beautiful renovated californian bungalow in the heart of Jan Juc. Only 150 min from the beach, Jan Juc oval and parklands. Pics are before I moved in from the previous tenants. My furniture is modern and funky :) Large backyard all decked, no mowing lawns and easy to maintain garden.
The property....Lovely 4 bedroom freestanding house in a cute, quiet, little street in Jan Juc. House is fully furnished apart from the available rooms, features include; 3 seperate living areas inside and another 3 seperate outdoor areas, 2 bathrooms, reverse cycle air conditioning and gas heating, good size kitchen (gas cooking), floor boards upstairs, carpeted lounge and bedrooms, gardens and small veggie garden (soon be be revamped for growing all things tasty!). A spare bedroom. There is a covered carport and room to store bikes. The ocean is a short walk away and there are ocean views from upstairs, well you can see the ocean, just :-) The rooms... $190 per week each room (plus bills and bond (1 month rent)). The bedrooms are downstairs and keep cool even on hot days. Both have built in robes, full length mirror and a bathroom (with shower and bath) to share between the two rooms staight across the hall. There is also extra cupboard storage space available for both rooms too if needed. Carpeted floors. Please see the pictures for the dimensions of the rooms.
I'm a very fun and laidback gal. I love the occasional group cookup and wine and I have a Nintendo if 64 Mario kart is your thang. I work 4 days a week in Footscray managing an acting school but I wanna be closer to the Beach so I can surf more often! I'm also an actor and do role playing for medical exams on my days off the other work. keen for people to team up with to find a rad place preferably in Juc!
