I have just returned from a 2 year working holiday in New Zealand which was fantastic! I was born in Brisbane. Currently looking for work but can pay rent (I am not on benefits). I don't smoke, I am clean and super tidy. I am also a minimalist and cannot live with clutter but as I have quite a bit of stuff in storage I'm looking for a granny flat of my own. Am pretty quiet and not a big fan of loud TVs but do occasionally enjoy a 'singfest' (private karaoke) when no one else is around. I am also a bit 'anal' about turning off lights, stand-by items etc. as I detest waste plus it saves electricity. Hot days and particularly nights I find hard to cope with so if there is air-conditioning I will use it but I try to keep to a minimum as it is expensive. Another reason why I like to turn off electrical items that aren't being used, keeping cool at night so I can sleep is more important. I have a reference from a previous rental property (Brisbane), plus police check dated 2015 which I needed for work in NZ as well as a NZ police check dated 2016. That's me in a nutshell.
Hi everyone, I'm Chelsea. I'm from the southern United States and spending some time in Brisbane, so looking for a short term rental. Hey! I'm Adam, this is Kate, we're an English couple and have just moved to Brisbane. We're both clean, respectful and easy going people. We're not 'party people' although we're all for having a few drinks and socialising, we also enjoy our own space and respect other's privacy. We also love dogs :)
This a great apartment, in a quiet complex but extremely close to the city, shops, public transport and nightlife. There's always parking available and two garages taken by other housemates but provides plenty of storage if needed. There's a great view of the city, accompanied by a huge balcony. The shared bathroom is always clean, and the room is big with plenty of hanging space with a double wrobe. The room doesn't have aircon but the main room does, although it's a rather cool house in summer anyway.

Hospitality worker so hoping to find a flexible room mate or private living area, granny flat, studio etc. I won't be there too often as I am always working and enjoy my sleep and quiet days off work. I'm a great cook and big coffee lover. Smoker, enjoy outdoors and animals. I've rented many houses of my own and lived with housemates. I enjoy my privacy and only ask for honestly and always communicate. I can finish work sometimes as late as 3am, but will always respect possible other housemates. I also catch 375 bus to work but love cars and hope to get my licence soon. Please message me if I seem like someone whod be great for your rental. No student accomodation please
Currently studying medical science majoring in nutritional science with CQU via distance education. I am transferring to QUT next year to study Nutritional science/creative industries. Work for Queensland rail travel on board long distance trains casually, so this means I work away some of the times. Originally from Rockhampton, moved down to Brisbane about 6 months ago for work. I am self sustaining, ex chef so can cook and look after myself. Like to be social sometimes and have a drink or 10, but mainly stuck in front of a computer studying. Love travelling and lived overseas for about a year.
Clean, responsible and organised person and respects others and their belongings. I've always lived in Brisbane, currently studying and hopefully looking at getting a full time job out of it in the coming months. Wanting to move overseas to study something different whilst working the job I'm studying for now.

I'm Chelsea, 30 years old, currently working full time as a barista in Red hill. I Start study part time next week in digital media but keep my hours. I'm from Melbourne originally but I've been living in the Paddington area a few years now and just returned a few months ago from traveling overseas in uk to live with family. You will find me spending most days during the week reading, cooking, watching Netflix, gardening, at my pottery class or doing some kind of exercise. On the weekends I visit friends or have a few quiet drinks with a movie or listen to music at home. If I have a few days off ill take off in the van for an overnight stay at the beach in and around Brisbane. In terms of the vibe of the house, I prefer to live in a home environment so I try to build relationships with my housemates rather than feel I live with strangers. Saying that i am very respectful of boundaries and understand we all need our time to ourselves. I don't have much in terms of belongings, to be honest I've been staying in my van mostly and keep my things in there with me while staying with friends. I'm very easy going, I'm normally pretty playful & love to have a laugh. I'm respectful and responsible and treat others how I like to be treated. I have a solid history of paying bills and rent on time. Also an animal lover, pets are a bonus :) I am a light sleeper so I'm trying to find a location or room away from the main rd, preferably in a quieter street, shift workers may not be suitable. Oh and air con! Hoping I can find one to survive the summer :) Feel free to contact me anytime on here or mobile. Kind regards Chelsea
The flat is one of three, set back from the road nestled amongst the trees, it has polished wooden floors though-out, a Better Homes and Gardens inspired colour scheme, a decent kitchen with a gas stove, large living room with air conditioning, cable internet, two small balconies, communal laundry, a big back-yard. Located on a quite street, there are a couple of little shops nearby, and a bus stop that goes to the city. The room is moderately sized (3m x 3m) and features a big built-in wardrobe, polished wood floor, and a large window that gets morning sun. Rent is $130 per week. Split equally, power, gas and internet comes out to around $25-35 per week each.
***SHORT-TERM accommodation*** One room available from the 26th of September to 13th of October 2017. This is a charming house with a big beautiful backyard inviting to chill in the hammock and watch the birds and trees dancing :-) You can enjoy BBQ or pizzas on it. I have a rent contract for this house until the 14th of October 2017 and will move out then.
Negotiable rent for work exchange option available 2 Bedroom downstairs self-contained Flat to rent (Bardon) Our large family home is located in the leafy residential suburb of Bardon (5 kms west of CBD) and has a gorgeous lower level furnished 2-bedroom flat with kitchenette and separate entrance, large airy windows, French doors, and, inside and outside private living areas. The house also has an in-ground pool, and a professional working family and family dog upstairs in the main house. Rent and utilities (water, power and internet) for one bedroom in the area are valued at approx $180 per week Our family has a unique opportunity for some or all of the weekly rent and utilities to be waived in exchange for up to six hours per week of support work for our adult daughter who lives upstairs with us and has a disability (Rett syndrome). Support would include personal support, social/community support and domestic responsibilities. Our daughter (mid 20’s) attends a day program Monday to Friday and loves swimming, magazines and cafes. You don’t need to have previous paid disability support worker experience as we can provide training (although that would be great if you did). However, if you have a caring nature or experience with a sibling with a disability, or are someone who is interested and studying in a community/medical field you are welcome to make contact with us and find out more. Preference is for support on Saturdays so the arrangement is suitable for either a working person who could be looking to save some money, or for a student. There may be an opportunity to work additional paid hours throughout the week (if desired) and an opportunity to earn a live-in allowance by staying with our daughter when the family go away. Seeking a female of similar age and interested party would require a driver’s licence and a vehicle for support hours.
1 parking space to alternate between housemates Property backs on to quiet park Nice places to walk around the area Close to quality cafes including Smoked Paprika, and Neighborhood Coffee Walking distance Goodlife Health Clubs - Bardon Shared TV with Chromecast No pets sorry as the owners won't allow them
young professional - not a clean freak or Nazi about anything but would like a relatively clean and tidy place to live with fun and sociable people. I work as a youth worker from Mon-Fri 9-5. When I'm not at work I'm at gym or playing sport and on the weekends I am usually out and about seeing friends and family. Definitely enjoy a few drinks on the weekend so housemates to be able to chill out with would be an added living bonus. Ultimately, I am seeking somewhere to live close to my work in Milton with a group of respectful and tidy people (3 to 4 others max) who I can get along with.
