Hey, I'm Jai - 27. I work in a logistics call centre on a rotating roster and study Law full time. I try to keep pretty standard hours and live a professional sort of lifestyle. Most of my time is spent either studying or working and trying (not very well, I might add) to maintain a social life. I enjoy my own space but also good company. Not sure what else to say, I’m pretty friendly so feel free to send me a message if you have any questions or think we’d click. LGBT friendly please :)
Hi I'm Bec, I am 25 years old. I study Veterinary Technology, full time out in Gatton, it is my final year & I am about to commence a very busy schedule of clinical rotations so you may not see too much of me except for in the evenings. I work casually in a vet clinic as a Vet Nurse in Ashgrove and Bardon. I am an avid animal lover & I very tidy & independent. I enjoy cooking and studying & Netflix of course and on weekends I enjoy a glass of wine in front of a good movie or a trip to the beach or a rainforest. I have a beautiful cat named Willow she is a 4 year old Russian Blue cross, so she is mostly hypoallergenic. She has the most beautiful nature and she has made many non cat people adore her (including my ex eye roll). I promise you she is well behaved, only ever scratches on her post and uses her litter tray, she likes to lay around and do a whole lot of nothing all day so I doubt she will ever get in your way.
Hey everyone! I'm looking for a nice place to settle in, preferably with lots of plants and books and a yard. I've been living overseas for 5+ years, but stoked to move back to brisbane now (I'm originally from currumbin but studied in brissy for years). I'm a professional editor (books, articles, etc.) but I'll be doing volunteer charity work as well and various other things like camping, biking, hiking, traveling, etc. I clean up after myself without being asked, keep to myself a bit for most of the day but always up for a good chat over a coffee and keen for a community feel (i.e. house dinners, housemate picnics, whatever). 28, non-smoker, non-annoying. LGBTI+ friendly and all the good non-bigotted stuff. Cheers :)
I’m an international student here from Hawaii studying marine biology. I brought my super awesome dog, Gambit here with me. He is 7 years old, mixed breed, small (13kg) and very well behaved. I work 20hrs a week in disability support
Hi, I'm Liv. I'm a 24-year-old architect/interior designer recently moved back to Australia after 3.5yrs living and working in Germany. I'm originally from the Gold Coast but am looking to move to Brissy for work. I'm a non-smoker, bit of a health nut and super tidy. I would preferably like to live with people in their 20's who would be up for a chat, glass of vino or occasional dinner. When I'm not working I am usually either doing a gym class, or counteracting it by cooking/baking up a storm.
Friendly open minded vegan who is studying and working part time. I enjoy being social and trying new things - more then keen to find some like minded people to live with and learn about. It’s a package deal with my beautiful dog so being a pet lover is a must :)
Hey! Like a nice living environment but don't have your own stuff? Sick of sharehouse living with milk-crate furniture and grotty couches? :). Then this place would suit you. My names Aidan and I've got a room for rent in a funky house in Ashgrove. It's freshly renovated and painted, and is fully furnished with a double bed and plenty of wardrobe space. The rest of the house is also fully furnished with homely, funky stuff and a fully-stocked kitchen with plenty of crokery, pots, appliances, everything. Theres a great back deck overlooking a creek and bushland. The house is 5min walk to the shops and bus stop, and 4 km/15 minute bus ride to the city. Its a 3 bedroom place upstairs + study, with my own room and bathroom downstairs. Upstairs has a been renovated with a great kitchen and bathroom. There's a study/common space for doing uni work or relaxing with a book. I'm a 42y.o. gay guy who works full-time and is clean, respectful, easy-going. I've been sharehousing for many years and know what makes a place inviting and relaxing. You can have your own space or come and join me on the deck for a drink, I'm cool with either. The other flatmates are in their 30s and 40s. We all work hard during the week so the place is relaxed and social on the weekends, without being a party house. I've poured my heart and soul into renovating the house, so I'm after someone who is mature, easy-going and appreciates/respects a nice environment. I'm really passionate about the native birds, turtles and water dragons in the creek, so sorry, no pets. Bills (elec, gas, internet) work out to be about $15-17 per person per week. If you're interested, send me a message. Cheers! airconditioning back deck with bush views close to public transport close to shopsfreshly renovated wardrobe
Currently a full time student at Griffith University! Also work part time at an aged care facility! Usually always out and about and when I’m home I usually just relax and watch movies!
Looking to get a new house with someone! I'm currently living in Melbourne but am moving to Brisbane to move up a position in my company! Am willing to fly up a few weeks before moving up for a few days for inspections. I work Full Time, and ride a bicycle for the rest of time. I'm not really home much, but enjoy just coming home, cooking, chatting to my room mate, watching netflix and going to bed! I also enjoy bouldering and going out with friends to bars. I train for cycling every day, and sometimes ride on an indoor trainer as well. It's not very noisy, and I wouldn't do it whilst people are asleep. I own 6 bikes though, and would need some space for them! Can send photo of current set up in apartment. Surprisngly don' take up much space! I love cats and animals, but don't have the time to have one myself at the moment. Maybe one day! I have a bed, some bookshelves, and fridge but that's about it. But willing to start new house and purchase majority of stuff if needed!
Nick is from Townsville, owns his own gardening business and works in a cafe part time. He likes playing DnD and cooking. I am from Munich and a youth and disability worker and do shift work (mornings or overnight sleepovers). I enjoy painting and watching Netflix. Leeroy is about 5 years old and a lovable kitty. He loves humans and will snuggle up to you once he gets to know you. We are looking for a flat with one other person, wooden floors, preferably with a renovated kitchen and bathroom. We like socialising but also respect that sometimes you need a bit of space.
Hi I'm Emilia, I'm currently studying and working casually at a medical centre. I believe I'm a kind and considerate person that enjoys keeping my house clean and tidy. I'm looking for housemates that share my similar values of cleanliness, respect, kindness and honesty. I don't smoke or throw parties. I'm looking to move in somewhere between April-August.
I am a super clean person and always procrastinate clean which doesn't help my uni assignments but makes me an awesome housemate. I am currently in my last semester of my social work degree with honours at UQ. I work part time in retail and I am a sociable person who enjoys a drink out on the weekends. I have the cutest little dog who is a pug cross, I adopted her last year, she makes the perfect Netflix and chill companion, she is completely house trained and is cleaner than most humans I have lived with.
Hey! I’m originally from the Sunny Coast and recently started working for Nine News as a cameraman. Prior to the Nine job I was in Townsville for a year working with WIN News. I’m looking for a place close to work! I'm 20, responsible, respectful, tidy and a non smoker. I love surfing, golfing, photography and play a bit of guitar 😀 Cheers, Hugo
I am easy going, happy, honest, independent and enjoy socialising over dinner. I am tidy, like a clean house but am not obsessive. I like to communicate openly and constructively and like to give people space and privacy. I like music and the arts and foreign films and enjoy writing. I am in child care and am from Brisbane. I am looking for like-minded people.
Easy going, reasonably flexible with location, I catch public transport into the city for work. Most important thing is to find somewhere that will accept my almost 9 year old black lab x. Not currently on a lease so no specific date restrictions. Would like to live with someone/s open minded, friendly and sociable.
Hi everyone! I'm looking to join or create a great sharehouse in the inner-west or inner-north. I've been living in sharehouses for almost 10 years so I'd like to think I'm a bit of a pro! Looking for somewhere that is respectful, where we all communicate, and hopefully somewhere that we can enjoy spending time together but I am also happy to respect your space. I am a freelance writer and have two part-time jobs so I'm running around or rarely home during the day, but my labradoodle Finn will be. He's house trained and takes two long walks a day so he's pretty chill and will only bother you for a cuddle. Let me know if you'd be keen to meet up to talk about the sharehouse. Speak soon!
Im 21 years old, currently working full time and looking for somewhere new to call home as my current lease has ended. Ideally I'd like to find somewhere that is available now, however I am flexible with dates. I’m looking to move in with someone roughly the same age. I am very tidy and respectful of others. I generally like to keep to myself, however always down for a chat and a cheeky wine or two. I also have a boyfriend so I would be out of the house some nights staying at his, and would hope that he’d be welcome to stay over occasionally also :)
My mrs is moving back down to Adelaide to be with family so my best mate (Buddy - 3 yr old kelpie/cattle dog) and I are currently renting in Camp Hill and looking for a couple people to team up with and look for a place about 3 -4 people round end of May/start of June. I'm pretty flexible on suburb as long as there's a park, beach or forest nearby then I don't mind too much where we end up. Would be looking for a fully fenced property with a decent sized backyard with shelter for Buddy and room to park my motorbike under cover and some tools. I have furniture as well but could sell it or put in storage if needed. Looking for people who will treat Bud just like I would when i'm not home. Buddy's very friendly, well trained and he's incredibly smart. Take him on a walk and he'll be your best mate forever. I try to run/walk with him once in the morning and that keeps him chill for the rest of the day. I love the beach/ocean so most of the time that's where i'll try get to. I'm always down to have a chat over an ice cold beersie or good bottle of red but can also understand sometimes people just want to get home to some peace and quiet and can respect that too. I've been vegan/vego in the past so if you're vegan or vego I'd be mindful of that. Still enjoy a good steak and chips though. I'm a pretty chill guy so i'm flexible with most things. I used to work as a diver and also on commercial ships as a Captain/engineer so am a bit of a handy man and useful around the house. I'm very tidy/organised and now work in international shipping operations and logistics. Keeps me pretty busy but in my down time between ships and most weekends I'll be either out on an adventure with Bud or at a craft brewery. If i'm not out I'll be having a beer at home or Netflixin/on the Playstation. Anyway if you're an open minded, laid back, dog person who enjoys being outdoors, good tunes and doesn't mind a drink and a good chat then we'd probably get along. Say G'day if your interested
It feels like a retreat in the city. Rainforest out the back. Great deck and spaces in the garden. Beautiful old Queenslander. Good sized room. Big house with lots of private spaces in and around the house. Very peaceful. Fans in all the rooms. Located 4 km from the city with frequent bus services including one to UQ. Situated near to Mt Coot-tha which has many walking trails.
