Hey! I'm Lauren. I'm a positive, friendly and tidy person who works full time as a teacher. I'm looking for some great people to live with, not just a room. Must love dogs-I have a 6 year old dog, Maisy. Would be great if you also had a dog so she could have a pal! Not after a party house but love having friends over and socialising with a few drinks. I am a non-smoker and enjoy cleaning and gardening.
The amazing location at the base of Mount Coot-tha.. Bardon - close to paddington/city.. bus right out front of the secured community living... this living also included large pool with bbq and bookable party area, lots of greens and tennis court. The house itself is nestled at the back corner with only one close neighbour who is lovely. The house is also a very serine and filled with beautiful art in a minimal and comfortable atmosphere - It will be once I get back in.. it has been rented out for the last 10 years so the images you see are the pictures to show you the layout and the inspiration images are what the interiors will look like once the tenants leave and I get in and redecorate.
This house is in a fantastic location in Bardon; inner city living with plenty of space in and around the house. The back deck at the rear of the property is a great entertaining space and looks over the beautiful garden (which is maintained by the agent and is included in the rent). There's internet set up and Netflix available. There's air-con in the lounge and kitchen but the house is a high-set wooden house so gets plenty of fresh air naturally. The room itself is unfurnished but everything else in the house is set up including study, dining table, outdoor table and seating, kitchen (with fridge, gas stove and electric oven), washing machine, clothes dryer, 2x clothes airers (outside), TV, internet etc. I’ve probably missed some info out so if you have any questions, feel free to send me a message.
Room available for rent at the back of Paddington with 2 awesome and very social girls in charming three-bedroom house. Spacious room features: • Carpeted floors • Large mirrored, built-in wardrobe • Amazing views Two story house secluded from the main street features 3-carpeted bedrooms upstairs and 2 bathrooms. You would share a bathroom with one girl. Car space available if needed. Downstairs opens to city views with polished timber floors, kitchen with dishwasher, spare toilet, deck, loads of storage, and more. The room is medium in size, has a built-in wardrobe, comfortably fits a Queen bed, dresser and a desk. Bedroom can be furnished or unfurnished. The bills for the internet and electricity are on top of rent. Internet is $20 each a month and electricity works out to be around $140 each every quarter. We dont pay for gas or water. We are in a great location, close to woolworths, bars and plenty of coffee shops. The City Glider 61 stops just a minute around the corner and will you have in the city in less than 10 minutes.
Brand new house located in bardon. Close to the city and is very clean and open. Has air conditioning, internet. 2 of the occupents are shift workers so are there occassionally. Not a party house but a few beers are had from time to time. People are respectful of your space.
Hi guys! I'm looking for a new place in Brisbane preferably around Pado, Bardon or Auchenflower but I'm open to anything if its the right fit! I'm a self proclaimed meme queen and I'm into music and coffee. I'm super laid back however I am very sociable and and do love to go out and unwind. Shoot me a message!
This is a fabulous 2 floor flat located just on the border of Bardon and Paddington. You will be living in the peaceful, leafy and quiet part of Bardon with only a 5 minute walk to the vibrant Latrobe terrace. The house is newly built - the current tenants are the first people ever living in this property. It is, as you might then assume in perfect condition. Large outdoor area, like an extension of living and kitchen area and a lovely, modern kitchen. There is also a small toilet on the ground level. Upstairs you find all bedrooms, the joint bathroom and of course - your room. The room is large and has heaps of storage. Both built in wardrobes and a walk in closet. You also have your own bathroom, which has a heating light in located in the roof (it's unreal to use in winter after a shower!!!). The entire property has aircon and every room also have a ceiling fan. It is super close to public transport, the city and everything else you want to be close to. I am pretty devvo to leave this place and my best friends living in it, but time has come to move on.
My name is Chris. I don’t really act my age, but am actually 42. I didn’t really have any say about this, but I’m from Brisbane. I’m clean and house-trained. I’m vegan, but am totally respectful of others food preferences. I'm not racist, sexist or homophobic. I’m a virgo, if that’s important. I enjoy meeting new people and good chats over coffee, tea, beer, wine (or nothing at all!), though I guess I’m mostly a fairly quiet soul. My first passion is music - going to gigs, listening to it and occasionally making it - I’m particularly into indie, dreampop, rock, post-punk, and electronic music plus the odd guilty-pleasure… I’m always on the lookout for new music to fall in love with. I am an atheist. I have an interest in politics and the way the world is run. I love photography - I’m always taking photos of things. Occasionally the photos aren’t bad. I enjoy reading - I seem to read mainly non-fiction these days, but really want to get back into more novels. I respect the environment and do my best not to fuck it up any more than it already is. I do love a good film too (but really, doesn’t pretty much everyone?) My favourite film is "Withnail & I”. I like to think that I have a good sense of humour and love to laugh (I really get off on smart British comedy especially), joke and smile, but am fascinated by the darker aspects of life. I have been working for the last 10 years as a public servant which is fine, but sometimes I think maybe it’s time for a change. I have travelled overseas a lot in the last 15 years or so, from living in London, Berlin and Ontario, Canada, to several holidays travelling around Europe and a month in India two years ago. I love animals - cats in particular I love bike riding, and walking I don’t have my licence yet, but am learning I really enjoy playing boardgames, and quite like the occasional computer game too. I’m not particularly into sport, but I do enjoy cricket and don’t mind a bit of soccer. I really hate listing stuff about myself - I always think i’ll forget something really obvious about me!
I'm neat, tidy, and always respectful of other people's space as I value my own. I enjoy my piece and quiet and I'm usually focused on my study a lot. I don't drink, smoke or do drugs and I'd prefer living with other like minded, focused individuals. I'm purely focused on my future and career. I'd like to live with others who are possibly completing a number of years in study as I don't wish to move sooner than 12 months, I like a neat a tidy house hold where communal areas are always kept thoroughly clean I think it's just best so as to avoid any disagreements. My interests are philosophy which is where I usually only ever find myself engaged in conversation (not debates) with others and theology is quite an interesting field as well. I like to write a lot and I'm very much into discussing good litrature. Despite sounding like an absolute trogledyte and rather bourgeois—people usually say my mein doesn't match my proclivities; and that I'm actually quite fun! ☺️ So if you'd like a housemate who's respectful, friendly, clean and someone you can engage with intellectually from time to time, you need look no further! 😃 Plus I always pay my bills on time. I abhor people who can't commit to their obligations.
Pros: Our house is 50m from a city glider bus stop which is super handy. There is plenty of parking on the street and in the garage. There is a fireplace. We are thinking about getting chickens. Cons: The resident possum keeps eating our herb garden. We can't keep a fighting fish alive (R.I.P Dexi boy). There is a hammock but you cant use it because Dom doesn't get out of it
I am relocating to Melbourne for a job, and my spacious room is available in this wonderful Queenslander home from the 17th of November. I have really enjoyed living here and I am sad to be leaving! Excluding your bedroom, the house is fully furnished, has large communal living and dining spaces, a sun room at the front of the house, bathroom with shower/bath, a big back yard, a spacious and fully equipped kitchen (gas stove and microwave), and ample space for parking on the driveway and on this wide and quiet street. The house has a lot of character and there are paintings everywhere as Elena is an artist. We are flexible with furnishings - there is a wardrobe and chest of drawers that will stay in the bedroom if you need. My Queen bed is also for sale if you'd like to buy it! (4 months old, going for $650). Bills average between $60 and $80/month including internet. There is a school and nursing home on this street, and currently a small dog lives in the house - she is very cute and affectionate :). The house is within walking distance of buses which have short, direct routes to the city centre.
Very large bedroom (King....furnished if required) with ensuite & built-ins in furnished executive home in leafy Bardon. Quiet home with large Balinese inspired garden. Walk to cafes, restaurants, large gym, and three different bus stops direct to the city within minutes of the home. Share with two other professional full-time workers. Prefer mature quiet living person who appreciates a nice home and friendly sociable clean housemates. Fast WiFi throughout the home and garden. All inclusive price for room for one person is $235 per week.
I am an 18 year old girl freshly graduated from high school. I have a full time managers position in south bank so I may not be around much. I am always up for a chat or to hang out and get to know new people but definitely love my down time. I am clean and tidy and am looking for a fun funky household to live in. Depending on whether you'd love this, but I can do pet sitting whilst staying at the house so there will always be a new furry friend hanging around!!
I'm a recent graduate of Journalism, and looking for a good group of people to move in with. I love my film and photography, and am starting up a small side business in commercial film production. I love to ride, hike, and love my coffee more than I should. Generally a very relaxed person, and not much of a drinker.
PLEASE NOTE: The photos are from real estate website and the house is furnished differently now. Super chill little house in Bardon 2 minute drive to Latrobe Tce in Paddington and 10 minute walk to Rosalie shops. The room for rent is the only one in the house with aircon and built-in wardrobe and all rooms are in seperate corners of the house. The street is very quiet and this house is so nice to relax in. The whole house is furnished except for the room for rent and there is a spare room for guests to stay in. This is not a party house, the weekends are more chilled and while people usually come and hang out it's not hectic. The room for rent on the floor plan is room 2
This is a leafy QLDer share house in the Bardon/Paddington area with beautiful views of Mt Coot-tha and a big backyard with firepit and veggie garden. Looking for someone who enjoys their own space and respects that of others. There's a vegetarian in the house so other vegos will fit in well but obviously not an issue. The house is a 2min walk from buses to the city, valley, Ashgrove, Stones Corner and Convention Centre and probably a 5min walk to Paddington Central Woolworths, cafés and shops. House is generally kept tidy and clean, everyone expected to chip in a bit every week or so to keep it pleasant.
I’m an Uber driver and have a car that I love enjoying. Mostly looking for a place with a garage to have it stay secure. And close to the city would be fantastic. I’m a fun and easy going Aussie, very clean and tidy and keep to myself when is needed, bubbly, friendly, respectful, mature, motivated, reliable and honest.
