We have ducted air conditioning in every room of the house and Netflix and Stan on the TV in the upstairs living room. There’s bus to the city which leaves from right outside the house or it’s a 10 min drive ($13 Uber). The downstairs living area is not currently furnished and you’re free to do so if you’d like to make that your space :) All other living spaces are fully furnished now, the pictures on the profile are from before we moved in. The house backs out on to a large, beautiful park. The kitchen is fully stocked with cutlery, crockery and every piece of equipment inbetween (including a nutribullet)! We are a 2 minute drive or 10 min walk from Rosalie which has lots of shops and restaurants (Grill’d, Thai, pizza, sushi).
The name is Travis, I'm 28, friendly, laid back, single, gay, super clean, super tidy and a non smoker. I'm not a party animal but don't mind going into the city or somewhere nice for a couple drinks on the rare occasion. I'm currently working at St Vincent's Private Hospital Northside as a Hospital Services Assistant and have been there for over 2.5 years now. I've also just recently finished my studies at Tafe and now actively looking to gain a career in the IT industry. Ideally I would love to find a place that has the following: - Pet free - Smoke free - Drug free - LGBT friendly - Air-conditioned bedroom - Non party house - Garage or carport parking - 1 other person maybe 2 max depending on the person/situation - Queen size room with built in (Unfurnished) - Ensuite bathroom - Storage area - Genuinely clean, as I am really clean myself so ideally I'd like my future housemate to be the same. If you like what you read and feel I'm suitable or have any further questions, please don't hesitate to message me. :)
Hello, my name is Joshua Petersen and I'm a polite and sociable person who works full-time as a heavy vehicle mechanic. My current lease expires on the 19th of January and am wanting to move preferably on the 11/12th of January. I'm very tidy and good at keeping the house clean inside and out. I pay my bills on time every time I have my own lawn mower and other gardening equipment and love maintaining the landscape. I have a fair bit of mechanical equipment (not too much) which I will need some storage space in the garage or shed. A tool box and few 100L tubs. I'm single with no pets but absolutely love all pets and wild animals.. I currently own two cars but am trying to sell my second vehicle as priority calls. I also have a housemate that has not found a place yet and would be honored if you would consider him as he is 45yo and one of Australia's top swords craftsman who works from home. He is a smart, intuitive and empathetic man who has endless things to offer. Thank you for reading my description
I'm looking for somewhere in the Brisbane area for myself and my 6yr old Kelpie Bessie. I'm 22, and work part time at a cafe. I'm originally from NSW but moved to Queensland 4 years ago for the lovely weather! I have all my own room furniture including kitchen items (I also have a dope little coffee machine which I'm happy to share). I've rented on my own for 2 years and flat-shared for a year with a few different people. I do also have some furniture in storage (couch, fridge, washing machine) that I could bring with me if you wanted! My flatmates are moving in the first week of Jan so I'm now looking for somewhere new Asap! I enjoy going for walks with Bess, yoga, playing xbox games, op-shopping, cooking, road trips to the beach, reading and also volunteer weekly with the RSPCA at Wacol so ideally looking for somewhere not too far of a drive from there. I'm friendly, quiet and clean, and also respectful of personal space. I can be a bit shy at first but once I'm comfortable I love a good chat over a glass of wine! I'd love to find somewhere I could become good friends with my housemates! Bessie is a rescue and as such is very timid to begin with. I hope to find somewhere it's okay for her to stay inside as she is most content to be curled up on my bed when I'm not home, although she often comes with me if I'm not at work. She gets along with dogs of all sizes but unfortunately has a phobia of cats. I'm looking for somewhere with a secure yard as Bess is flighty and if a gate is left open she will bolt and not look back. She is very well toilet trained and I have never had her make a mess inside in the 3 years I've had her. Once she feels comfortable she is very friendly and loves a good pat!
I’m a 51yo bloke. I stay fit at the gym, do yoga and I’m very clean and courteous. I work full time as a nutritionist. I am looking to share with housemates around my age. I like company so it would be nice to do a bit of socialising. I like movies, plays, live music, cooking. I exercise, do yoga, most days. I have the odd drink now and again and enjoy company.
I am a 19 year old student at QUT studying psychology and social work (3rd year). Next year I will be completing my placement for 6 months. I am originally from a small country town and moved to study. I am looking for shared accommodation in the areas of Ashgrove, Toowong, Kelvin Grove, Taringa or Indooroopilly. I love Brisbane and it’s atmosphere. I am a very clean and tidy person as well as easy going.
Looking to start a new team up with 2-3 decent girls/guys. A bit of banter and a drink/hang would be great every now and then but quite happy to just do our own things too Like to keep things pretty easy going. Have friends/partners over as you wish, chip in for house supplies, everyone help out when needed, keep it happy, really just the usual. I’ll probably spend most of summer at the beach. I get out and about some weeknights however am more often than not chilling around home. I do require undercover parking for my motorbike and would love a place with an outdoor area. I work full time so rent/bills are always paid. Very familiar with share house life so not interested in anyone who hasn't learnt how to clean up after themselves. Own basics: fridge, washing machine, dryer, microwave, and a few bits and pieces if needed. Would love to find some people to start looking with and hopefully move in before Christmas! Feel free to send me a message :)
Hi there potential housemates!! I'm a 23 year old law student (who is a tolerable law student, I promise!) and I work part time as a researcher/analyst and also as a disability support worker. I'm a clean, fun-but-respectful, kind and considerate housemate who has lots of experience living in sharehouses. I'm looking for a place that is a home, where everyone gets along but still respects each other's space. Because I work and study so much, I would prefer to live with people who are also busy! I've just left a house where socialising happened a few nights per week and have realised that that's just a little bit too frequent for me. In terms of the room itself, I'll need a room that's able to fit a queen bed and a desk. Outside of work and uni, my hobbies are rowing, knitting (because who doesn't love owning 30 scarves in the Brisbane climate), and dragging my friends along on outings - recent adventures include signing up for bouldering, frequent beach trips, and hiking. I'm also an avid cook and would be keen to have housemate dinners every now and then :) Please get in contact if you feel like I'd be a good fit for your place!
Currently working part time, studying floristry and looking for a place to move out to as soon as possible. I’m really open minded, friendly and in need of some independence. Looking for social roommates who want to become friends ☺️ I like my privacy as much as the next person but I’d like to use this as an opportunity to meet some groovy people that I get along with well
Hey! I'm Afrida, I'm 18 years old and from the Gold Coast. I'm hoping to move to Brisbane in February 2020 so I can continue studying Law full-time at The University of Queensland. Alongside studying, I will be working part-time across Brisbane and the GC. Currently seeking a 6-12 month lease to share with female flatmates. I'm a very organised, friendly and open-minded person with a talent for Spotify playlist curating and a taste for potatoes in any form whatsoever. Growing up with a sister and 20 cousins means I know about the importance of sharing common rooms and spaces and keeping them clean. And as the group appointed Mum Friend, you can find me to be very easy to talk to and be comfortable around. I don't have the premium version of this site so feel free to contact me using the details below. Would love to talk about listings over a call or coffee :) Contact me on IG: @voteafrida or mobile: 0422302820
Hey! I'm Mae and looking for a new place to call home :) I'm a full time student at QUT studying a double degree in psychology/justice whilst working casually in Toowong. I'm very easy going and love to get out and about on my days off (love burning at the beach, going for a drive or hitting up the markets). Would love to find housemates that I can have a chat/hang out with but also understand the need for downtime. I'm also very flexible with my move in date, I'd just like to be settled before uni goes back at the end of Feb. Flick me a message if you'd like to team up or if you think I'd be a good fit in your house :)
Just completed my degree in Musculoskeletal Therapy, will be working full-time in Paddington from January. Tidy, fun professional. Love the gym and play acoustic guitar for fun. Always up for a good chat.
