Pros: Our house is 50m from a city glider bus stop which is super handy. There is plenty of parking on the street and in the garage. Close to the shops Cons: The resident possum keeps eating our herb garden. The room is small but nice. there is lots of natural light. It can be furnished if needed. although there is no built in cupboards there is alternative storage across the hall you are able to use
I'm pretty easy-going, I enjoy keeping busy and socialising but appreciate my own time and space and allow others theirs. I work full time and enjoy being active and creative in my spare time. I'm clean and tidy, and reliable so paying rent on time wouldn't be an issue. I'm hoping to live with people keen to get to know one another and create more of a home rather than just share a house :)
I'm a 26 year old environmental science student, casual retail worker & musician. I'm a pretty easy-going but motivated person, I enjoy cooking vego food, listening to music (with respect to others) and keeping active. I'm interested in live music, health & fitness, good food, science, nature & travel. I'm looking to share a rental place with students, creatives, workers, anyone reasonably friendly and sociable who perhaps like to share communal dinners & hang out sometimes, but also respect the need for individual space. Ideally looking for a peaceful home so that everyone can prioritise their study / work lives.
Just before you read my general profile - I am looking for a share house and not a managed one where a bunch of students are crammed into what was a house, with no say on who turns up next. Thank you. No bad feelings, just not me... About me: Very easy to get along with. I am clean and very considerate. I am not a smoker but don't mind if others are (I quit years ago). Don't mind the odd drink or two, and can be quite chatty at times. The odd game of pool at the Paddo would go well also...depending on how close your place is to it. A good cook, and I leave the kitchen clean. That also applies to bathroom, toilet etc. I do contribute to general household items such as cleaning stuff, blown light bulbs etc, usually without even being asked. I am not very tolerant of hard drugs or serious drug dealers / users - I don't mean the odd puff or two - but If you are into meth or similar please don't contact me... I am not kidding about this - if you are clean, but all your friends keep turning up in a zombie-like state staring at the walls - count me out. At the present time I am trying to get started on my PhD, and tutor in mathematics on the side. I look forward to meeting you. cheers, David.
I’m a 23 year old newly graduated from uni and now working full time in the city! In my down time I love going to Yoga and Pilates and spending time with friends and family. Whilst I do love to have a wine and be social, It’s important to me that the house I join is not party-central every weekend. I am looking for housemates that I can also call friends. I am ideally looking for a master-en-suite room, in a non-smoking house.
Looking to start a new share house with 2-3 decent guys or girls. A bit of banter and a drink/hang would be great every now and then but quite happy to just do our own things too Like to keep things pretty easy going. Have friends/partners over as you wish, chip in for house supplies, everyone help out when needed, keep it happy, really just the usual. I’ll probably spend most of summer at the beach and out for rides (will need undercover space for motorbike). I get out and about some weeknights however am more often than not chilling around home. Would love a place with an outdoor area. I work full time so rent/bills are always paid. Very familiar with share house life so not interested in anyone who hasn't learnt how to clean up after themselves. I have plenty of basics: fridge, washing machine, dryer, microwave, and a few bits and pieces if needed. I’ve got my eye on a few places around the Toowong/Taringa/Paddington/Auchenflower/Bardon area so would love to find some decent people to start looking around with. Flexible on area! *no set move in date* Feel free to send me a message :)
My name is Matilda, I'm 23 years old, from Alstonville (near Byron Bay) and studying Exercise Physiology. I'm looking for either somewhere to live, OR some people to start a sharehouse with, preferably somewhere close to the city. Ideal suburbs are Paddington, Ashgrove, Bardon, Herston, Red Hill, Kelvin Grove, Milton, etc. I'm looking to move sometime in November/December/January. About me: I am a fiend for music festivals, live music, gigs and the sesh life, but realistically that happens like once every few months. Most days you'll catch me on that straight edge, studying hard, bartending, coaching swimming, and playing water polo. I'm a quiet housemate, and tbh I'm so busy I'm not really home all that often, usually out of the door by 5am and not home til after 10pm due to work/sport/uni commitments. I love exercise, I swim and gym. I also love to travel. I surf, play guitar/drums, and paint. I have a drum kit, but I rarely play (only if I'm home alone) because it shits people off, so you'll never hear me. I'm always excited to chat about sport, art, music, travel, gin, beer, cocktails etc. I've lived in share-houses for the past 5 years, so I know the go. I always keep shared spaces clean, I'm respectful of other peoples possessions and their private space. Always down for a chat or a chill or an adventure, I wanna live somewhere that feels like home with people who feel like family. I like living in a social home, so I don't mind if anyone has mates over for beers on a weekend and maybe a party once every few months (within reason, don't throw a rager all night if someone has to get up early the next day, gotta always be mutually respectful). About You: Someone preferably between ages 22-27, student or professional. Don’t mind if you smoke or drink or whatever. Need to be able to tidy up after yourself in common areas. Doesn’t matter how ratchet your room is, as long as the rest of the house is good. Balance of being social and knowing when to respect each others space. About the Room/House: - Prefer a house, but will consider townhouses/units - Room unfurnished - Private room - Would prefer built-in robe, but can purchase a wardrobe if need be. - Would prefer my own ensuite/bathroom, but I'm open to sharing If I sound like your kinda gal, shoot me a message and lets catch up for a chat, see if we gel.
Hey I’m Kaitlin! I’m 22 and just moved to brissy from Melbourne where I was living for 3 years. I work at Subway in the Gap for the moment and I’m taking a break from study. Trying to decide what path to take in life, either want to get into the beauty industry, or psychology (big leap there I know). For fun I love being active with running, yoga or gym; going out for drinks; love a festival, but also love relaxing at home watching Netflix. I’m vegan but not bothered by non-vegos, I make an effort not to fit the psycho vegan stereotype! I’m currently living with my parents but ready to find my own space with some like-minded housemates. I’ve been sharehousing for the past 3 years and I like to think I’m a considerate, tidy and friendly housemate. Equally social and enjoy my own space :)
Hi, my name is Travis, I'm 28, single, gay, super clean, super tidy and super dorky. I'm respectful of personal space but also don't mind hanging out, specially if it involves Netflix and a big box of Cadbury Favourites although wouldnt mind a housemate who I can be friends with. I'm not a party animal but don't mind going into the city or somewhere nice for a couple drinks on the rare occasion, so I'd like a housemate who is similar in that sense and who has a friendly and easy going personality that's clean and tidy. :) I'm work night shift as a Environmental Services Assistant at the SVPHN in Chermside and Im studying IT full time at Tafe South Bank. Im after a place that has the following, - Pet free (Allergic to dogs) - Cigarette free - Drug free - LGBT friendly - Air-conditioning - Non party house - Off street parking - 1 other person maybe 2 max depending on the person/situation - Queen size room with built in (Unfurnished) - Ensuite or own bathroom - Storage (Preferable) - New or Newish house/townhouse or apartment (preferably) - Super clean, as I am really clean myself so ideally Id like my future housemate to be the same. I do have a few bits and bobs that need to be stored, some I can just chuck in the cupboard and under my bed but I do have a sensor dryer and also a mountain bike which I'd like to keep out of the weather. If you like what you read and feel I'm suitable please done hesitate to message me.
G'day Work and studying for my maters, social and friendly, respect to be respected, chill in or out, enjoys a beer (stout only :) ). happy to share a meal or too if needed (I think I can produce a good meal). Happy to keep to myself or have a social chat or a movie. I’m easy going, clean and tidy. Flexible on furniture, move in dates, length of stay, and suburbs.
Hi, my name Brianna (or Bri) I’m currently a graduating student speech pathologist looking for a job and a home in Brisbane in 2020. Preferred move in date is 10th January but it is also quite flexible at this stage. I’m a bubbly personality and also have some introverted tendencies. So I’m always keen on a chat and good laugh but will always be respectful of privacy and moments when you just need some quiet to recharge that social battery. I am very easy going and tidy. I’m a creative type (music and art) so I hope you don’t mind someone who will randomly bust out singing the lion king soundtrack or John Mayer. I also enjoy learning to cook so I’m down for cooking shared meals on occasion. I have a partner who is also Brisbane-based and the ideal home would be somewhere he is welcome to visit.
