Hey! Here's a bit about me, I'm 18 years old, I work full time as a dental assistant in Manuka. I'm great to live with because I always clean up after myself and I'm respectful towards others. Im originally from Bredbo, NSW, so I pretty much go there every weekend. For fun I like to go out for drinks with friends. I currently have a boyfriend and I am looking for a place where id be able to have him over some nights as well as friends occasionally.
I'm James 27 working professional in the Kingston area. I'm quite not really into partying but don't mind the occasional drink with friends or dinners. I'm very laid back enjoy me time. I'm quite to live with. I use headphones for everything including watching unless watching with others. So no issues with noise. I'd prefer somewhere in Kingston or as close to the area as possible. Somewhat flexible with the move in date.
Hi! How much do I NOT want this to sound like a profile on a dating site?! I'm 31, originally from Sydney, lived in Melbourne for a long while, now in Canberra. I've just swapped my laboratory job for a nice, comfy public service role, so I guess I'm a true Canberran now. I can't live without coffee, music, naps, and general nerdery (science/literature). But mainly coffee. I'm quiet to live with (actually quite boring, I'm always in my room reading/studying/messing around online. I hardly ever watch TV). In saying that, I'm also sociable and enjoy a chat and a meal with flatmates, and if there's a Netflix marathon to be had, I'm in. I'm looking to live with a professional, friendly non-smoker who keeps communal spaces relatively tidy (I'm okay with dirty dishes left in the sink for a day or two...a week is pushing it!) I also really need to live with someone who's quiet when I'm sleeping, as I like to go to bed quite early (around 10.30pm). Ideally, I would love my own bathroom or an ensuite and a carapace. I'm not overly fussed about which suburb I live in, as long as the place and the people suit me.
I'm east to get along with and have a lot of different interests. Love playing sport, going for trail walks, morning coffees, good chats & learning about different things. Although I'm a crap cook I'm trying to get better, and have to admit I'm pretty bummed about the lack of surfing opportunities in Canberra, but aiming to make up for it with the odd weekend trip to Perisha! I work in R&D management and have to relocate to Canberra from Perth for a new job. Ideally looking for a 2 x 2 to share, but feel free to msg me if you're interested in a bigger share place. Cheers!
Hello, I am a tidy and quiet person, and I enjoy chatting with people. I am a professional structural engineer. I like watching movies and documentaries, playing computer games and do exercise. I'm looking for a flatshare and have a budget of $250 per week. If you are interested in my profile, please get in touch. Thank you
HI! Moving to Canberra from July 19 with work for at least 12 months from Brisbane and am looking for someone to live with! A few things you should know about me are that I'm a bit of a book nerd, I like to keep things neat and tidy and I always pay my bills on time. I am someone who enjoys company but I also like to have my personal space and while I enjoy going out for a drink, I can often be found at home on the couch with a book on a Saturday night. I will be bringing down all of my furniture from a 1bed apartment so am looking for an unfurnished place someone in or near the city. If you are interested in finding a place with me, or you have a room free, please send me a message!
Hey there, I am Can Metan. I'll start my PhD in Computer Science very soon and I'm looking for a place to call home. I am a happy, squeaky clean and a trust-worthy guy. I quite enjoy cooking healthy meals and quite sociable in general. While we can share a glass of wine every now and then, I don't drink every week and I certainly don't smoke. I will be working a lot this year (likely to get a job besides PhD) and I would love to have a roomie that can pull his / her own weight. Looking forward to hear from you! PS: I love both dogs and cats (although I'm allergic to cats) and I would strongly prefer a smoke-free house.
My housemate is moving to her own place and so I'm looking to fill their room in a bright, split level Barton townhouse. It's a great location on a quiet street and walking distance to work if you're in the parliamentary triangle. There's a bus stop on every street corner and its close to Kingston and Manuka shops. The room is cosy but easily fits a double bed and has large built ins. The room is on its own level, all of which will be yours. This includes your own bathroom and landing area to do with as you please. The rest of the apartment has all the essential stuff, but there's room for anything extra you might have. There's a single lock up garage that I currently use, but street parking is available. I'm happy to share the use of the garage. The room is available from July 16. You would be expected to go on the lease, which runs until early January.
Chill, professional, open-minded guy seeking a relaxed and fun person/bunch to live with (ideally a gender-balanced house). I usually work on foreign aid projects in warm, exotic places, but will be spending the next 18 months working in Canberra. I tend to be active and love being in the ocean or tearing down a track on my mountain bike. Not into partying much anymore (although I can be coaxed into a night out) but do enjoy a social night in with a few drinks and a good movie, or a good book. Often found trying to cook gourmet dishes, sometimes even known to strum a guitar (poorly). The thought of a Canberra winter terrifies me and I don't really know anyone there yet, so I'll most likely spend my time defrosting in front of the heater until the warmer months roll around :) Some fun facts about me: - Once caught a pig in a swimming race (I won) - Almost tumbled into a lava pit during a holiday - Favourite movies include Dr Strangelove, Casablanca, The Truman Show and Blade Runner - Travelled to about 30 countries, lived in 8 Oh, and I'm open to other suburbs and also higher weekly rents if it's all good.
My name is Mike, I'm originally from Toronto, Canada. I've been living in Australia for 4 years and received my Juris Doctor from UC - I graduated at the end of last year. I'm currently working in Kingston and would love to find a place close by. I'm easy going, mostly keep to myself, but don't mind a chat, tidy, respectful, reliable. Just an all round decent guy really haha kidding...but seriously.
Hey, I am a student completing my hospitality internship at The Hotel Kurrajong. Therefore, would be working part time. I am very easy going and adjustable and usually get along just fine. I like to socialize but at the same time respect your individual space. Really love to cook and play sports (cricket, football). Would preferably look for an accommodation near the city center as I do not have a vehicle or near a public transport stop for easy access. Cheers, Arvind
Hi! I'm moving with my current job (environmental consultant) from Sydney to Canberra. I've been living in sharehouses for eight years. Pretty quiet during the week, I try to exercise most nights. I'm respectful of space, but also keen to be social with my housemate/s.
Hi, my name is Jamie and I've just moved up to Canberra from Victoria to be a public servant and looking for a place to live. I enjoy reading, comedy and improvisation, maths, music, playing/watching sports and generally doing new things. I've lived in 3 share houses before and never had an issue with any of my previous roommates. If you would like to know more about me, get in touch.
I am currently cycle touring around Australia (since March) and will be coming back to Canberra in August. I am looking for a place (preferably furnished) in the Inner South as I have put all my furniture in storage. I work full time and am reasonably mature. I can be quiet at times but do also like to be social and enjoy the occasional drink with flatmates. I think I am reasonably clean and neat and would hope for the same with anyone I an sharing with. I'm fairly keen on cycling and a large part of my social life is taken up with that. The only thing I need space for is 3 bicycles (2 of which could probably go in my room). I don't have a car (do all my commuting by bike/walking or car share - so a car space is not an issue for me. Oh and that terrible hair growth on my face goes when I get back from my trip. Having never gone more than 3 days without shaving I was curious to see what would result. :-)
Easy going young professional, making the move to Canberra from Sydney for a grad job. I have been living in share housing in Sydney for the last few years, so I am very used to communal living. I spend my spare time playing sport, exercising, hanging out with friends and going out for a drink.
I'm currently in my final year of Law, and am working part-time (around 30 hours a week). I love cooking, especially baking and am always up for a good conversation over food. I don't mind a drink every now and then, but don't drink too often. In my down time, I will probably be watching Netflix, out rock-climbing, or catching up with friends. I'm happy to be in a communal setting, but am also respectful of other people's space. I clean up after myself, and love being in a warm, inviting environment. I'm from the South Coast, so travel back often over my days off to see family, and also am planning to travel later in the year (happy to pay for rent over this time). Ideally, the location will be somewhere I'm able to travel to most central areas on bike, as my work is currently in the city - but prefer the inner south.
I am 27 years old and I consider myself a social and easy going person originally from the USA. I get along with everyone and enjoy meeting up with friends for dinner or for some drinks out in the town. I am a primary school teacher who enjoys exercise and spending time having a chat with others but I also enjoy chilling in my room watching Netflix after a big day at work. I'm hoping to find a roommate(s) that I can build a strong friendship with who would be happy to go out to dinner, catch a movie or have a chat over a glass of wine from time to time.

My name is Astrid and I will start an internship in Canberra on the 30th of august for the period of 3 months. I am looking for a room in a house with other 20-30 year olds who like to spend time with each other, but also respect each others privacy.
I'm 32 from the UK and have just recently moved to Canberra. I'm looking for something long term and a housemate who's fun and likes to have a laugh. I'm easy going, enjoy cooking and like to have the odd glass of wine. l'm tidy, respectful and also enjoy the occasional hike.
