You'll be sharing the place with Chris. I'm a lawyer in my mid-20's. Originally from Melbourne, I moved to Canberra 4 years ago. I'm an experienced housemate and I enjoy cooking, films and chilling out to some records with a vino. I'm very clean and respectful of your personal space. I work full time and lead an active lifestyle. I'll be quiet and considerate but I'm always keen for a chat/dinner/vino.
Toni, 23. I am a young working professional looking to relocate back to Canberra. Am easy going, friendly and tidy. In my spare time I love watching the footy, going bushwalking, meeting new people and I am often volunteering. Am looking for a room in Canberra, preferably north side but either is good for me. Am very chill and easy to get along with :)
Hi there! The end of August my boyfriend (Bram, M, 26) and I (F, 24) are moving to Canberra from Europe (Belgium) and are looking for a place to live from September onwards till March 2020. We are looking for a shared apartment with easy-going, social and fun flatmates who like to hang around once in a while, cook together etc. Most convenient would be to live near the city center, Yarralumla or other spots near the embassies neighbourhood but we are open to other spots which are easily accessible by bike/public transport. More about us: - Bram is a mechanical and computer science engineer looking for a job and likes volleyball, running, swimming, etc. - I'll be doing a 6 months diplomatic internship and love to meet new people and doing fun stuff! - We are both super tidy, clean and used to living with other people. - We really like going out (electronic music, techno, DnB...) but also really like hiking and nature. Looking forward to meeting you! Cheers!
Late 20s, freshly moved from Brisbane for work for 12 months. I love to cook. Friendly and very happy to have a chat or a quiet drink from time to time, but very happy to have my own space and interests too. I have some - pretty limited - furniture that ideally I'd be able to accommodate, but I can be pretty flexible about that too
Hi, I’m from Brisbane and I’m studying Health Science at ANU (will be second year in 2020). I like to play badminton, I love plants and tea, and I’m clean and tidy :) I'm looking for somewhere to live next year.
Sustaining the cliche I'll be moving to Canberra (from Queensland) in January 2020 for a graduate role in the APS. I'm a law grad with a pretty dry sense of humour, I clean up after myself, am pretty easy going and generally do my own thing, though am happy to socialise if (and when) it suits other housemates. I enjoy getting out and exploring, riding my bike, learning/trying new things and reading. I'm also keen to meet other people, as I don't know anyone in Canberra. As far as a place is concerned, preferably looking for an apartment/townhouse in South Canberra within walking distance to Parliament House (and surrounding Departments) on a 12 month lease, with one or two other house mates. I'm somewhat flexible about location and the start date, which could be a bit earlier or later (into January). If it sounds like we might be a good fit, feel free to message me.
Not looking for a place until October Hey guys I'm a youth worker, I have escaped Canberra for the winter but will be looking for a place to live when I return. I am at that age where I still wana be social but also enjoy my own space/ alone time. I am a bit of a neat freak not guna lie! I like a clean non cluttered house with lots of plants! I'm vegetarian, prefer to live with other vegetarians/vegans. Love music and drinking tea ( I come with a large tea collection!) Racists and homophobes need not apply. I'm an open book so ask anything : )
Hi there! I am a lawyer who has been living in the UK and doing my Masters for the past year. I am moving to Canberra to take up a job at the AGS at the start of September. I am very friendly, respectful, easy going and tidy. I respect privacy but am always up for hanging out over drinks or a meal. Hope to hear from you!
I work in the non-profit sector, am originally from Queensland but by now am veeeeery used to Canberra. I’m sharehouse trained and love a good cup of tea. Despite the massive cliche, I’m pretty clean and neat and want a social place to live in whilst enjoying my own space! Bonus - I come with all the furniture needed to move into a new place!
Hi there! I'm Venus, a Canadian looking for a place in Canberra as I'm here for a working holiday for six months. I have a background in communications, and a deep love for The Office (US version). I'm easy-going, friendly and like to keep things clean. I enjoy connecting with people, but also being mindful of others' spaces. Looking for: - likeminded, organized, easy-going roommate(s) - a furnished room - preferably my own bathroom, but not necessary - looking for someone who isn't afraid to remove spiders In my spare time, I enjoy reading, museums, exploring hiking trails, experimenting with recipes, and watching Netflix, quietly, in my room :)
From next month I will split my time between Melbourne (where my partner lives) and Canberra. I will be in Canberra approximately 4 nights a fortnight (Mon-Fri every second week) and I am looking for a room in a quiet, professional house - ideally within walking distance of the Parliamentary triangle - where I could stay every second week. I'm a lawyer and I hold a senior position in the federal public service. I'm a clean, respectful and friendly person. My interests are spending time with friends and family, travel, history, politics, languages, reading and spending time outside (e.g. walking and at the beach).
