We are both from the Netherlands. We have been together for 10 years and starting our new life in Tasmania. We are quiet, though like a chat but will mostly keep to ourselves. We are looking to share a house with people who value cleanliness and hygiene. We are looking for a double room in a share house anywhere not too far from the centre of Hobart.
A single bedroom in a shared house is available for a short lease of two months. The room is fully furnished plus a built-in wardrobe. There is a kitchenette with basic cooking facilities, incorporating a dining area and a small lounge. On-street parking. 180 dollars/p.w., which includes all utilities and unlimited internet.
Hey! I am Lykke and I am currently doing my masters of environmental governance and management at UTAS. I also work part-time as a barista and the rest of the time I hang out with friends, hike, climb and am always up for outdoorsy activities. I prefer to live in a well-functioning social sharehouse where it's not uncommon to eat together. I love a good chat over coffee/beer/wine as well as having movie nights. I also prefer a non-party house. If I sound like someone you might see yourself live with, send me a message and we can meet up.
Hello! I am moving out of my super cute Battery Point cottage room. I'm looking for a housemate for the remaining housemates for this house: Jolene and Ashleigh. Both are young lawyers who are really sweet and lovely. The house is a 3 minute walk to Salamanca or a 15 minute walk to Sandy Bay shops or Hobart CBD. Rent is $143.33 a week plus utilities and is available now. Internet available. Sadly no pets allowed :( Please don't text or call - send me an email letting me know a little bit about yourself. I'll get in touch to organise a viewing time that's convenient for everyone. Jolene and Ashleigh will be meeting people Monday 12 Aug evenings onwards. Please let me know which nights you are free to inspect.
Hi! I'm a Canadian student coming to Tasmania to do a PhD program at the Institute of Marine & Antarctic Studies. I love to play sports, partake in athletic activities, hike, swim, and also stay in to watch movies. I'm pretty outgoing and I like to think that I get along with most people :) In terms of living situations, I am a clean person and happy to help do chores around the house. I'm looking for like-minded people to share a space with and can't wait to meet new friends.
Hello, I have recently moved to Hobart to start a new job. I work as a health professional in the city and I am also doing postgraduate study in Medicines Management at UTAS. I am looking for a share-house or to take on a lease (house or unit) in the central Hobart area. I am a friendly, clean and considerate person with good communication skills. I would like to live in a location where I can walk or cycle to work - Sandy Bay, West Hobart, South Hobart, North Hobart and Battery Point are good areas. I am ideally looking for a medium or large bedroom with some sunlight. Furnished or unfurnished is fine. I would prefer long-term and I am willing to pay up to about $260 pw rent for a good sharehouse, and more for the lease on a unit or house. I live a healthy lifestyle. I'm a qualified yoga teacher and I do yoga every morning. I like to recycle and use enviro-friendly cleaning products. I am creative and enjoy playing my flute occasionally. I especially like getting out into nature for a bush walk. I enjoy having good conversations with housemates, and I also also appreciate quiet time and space. I don't mind dogs but I absolutely love cats - if you have a cat that would be a plus! :) I hope to hear from you.
Hello! Recently stayed in Hobart for six weeks, after visiting eight countries, and fell in love with Tasmania. Arriving August 10 to go to school. From Oregon, USA and enjoy hiking, art, cooking, and travel. Have a very friendly, laid back and respectful demeanor. I keep a tidy space and like to be social while also appreciating down time. My career has been in state government/politics. Looking for a room/space to rent and pretty flexible. Would love something long-term, 6+ months, but open to even a month stay as I get settled. Please let me know if you have any questions. Very excited to call Tassie home soon!
Hi! I'm a 27 yr-old Brit who is working 9-5 as an environmental research scientist. I'm really easy-going and respectful and am looking for like-minded housemates who are up for socialising around and out of the house, but who also understand that people need their own space at times. I'm hoping to live somewhere that has a really friendly atmosphere - I'm looking to make friends, not just for a place to lay my head. I love the outdoors and would love people to show me their favourite hikes, climbs, bike rides and beaches. But also I enjoy city life - visiting art galleries, going out for beers and to gigs for the odd dance. I'm veggie, environmentally-conscious and always up for interesting discussions about music, art and politics. I have a couple of bicycles - one which is happy living in my room waiting for some weekend attention; the other is my commuter and ideally could be housed somewhere convenient for getting out of the front door. Let me know if you think I'd be interested in your room!
I'm a physio moving to Hobart from Canberra beginning of August, working at RHH. Just finished uni after too many years studying and am keen to see what Hobart is about! I play a lil bit of ultimate frisbee, swim regularly and have recently have got into cycling. I’m after a private room in a share house that likes to keep the home clean and organised - where we can enjoy our time alone or have a get together. Budgeting at $250 including bills. I’m keen to meet some new people who are relaxed, respectful and up for a laugh. Looking forward to a response!
