My housemate Jolene and I (Lauren) are looking for someone to join us in our 3 bedroom cottage in Battery Point. The house is a 3 minute walk to Salamanca or a 15 minute walk to Sandy Bay shops or Hobart CBD. The room is not huge, but you get two! Rent is $133.33 a week plus utilities and is available from early February. Internet available. Sadly no pets allowed :( Please don't text or call - send me an email letting me know a little bit about yourself. I will get back to you when I can!
I'm from Cairns, I graduated school in 2016 and now I am starting my University course at the University of Tasmania. I will be studying medicine. I'm a pretty easy-going, quiet and clean guy and likes almost anything, I also can do chores and errands and know how to cook a little. I'm a non-smoker with no pets and looking for a quiet place to stay as I will be doing a lot of study and work for Uni.
My name is Lauren and I've recently qualified as a radiation therapist and been lucky enough to be offered a job in Hobart! I am currently living in Geelong, Victoria but am looking forward to a change. I am very positive and easy going and am always up for a laugh and a few drinks. Feel free to contact me regarding pretty much anything :)

Hi, I'm Vash and I'm 22 years old. I'm moving from Brisbane to Hobart this year to study at the University of Tasmania. When I'm not working or at Uni, I love to exercise, read books, cook, or go out with friends. I'm outgoing and friendly, but I also enjoy my own space. I've lived in a share house before, I'm cleanly and considerate, and I think very easy to live with! :) Looking forward to the year ahead.
Hi Friends! My friend Bree and I are looking for a house to move into in January/February (either new lease or join an existing one). We would like to find a third (and possibly fourth) person to help us create a home in central Hobart. We enjoy sharing meals and wine/beer from time to time but we aren’t looking to host huge parties. Our future housemate(s) would ideally value and respect a tidy and clean communal space and want to be part of a sociable house while respecting each other’s need for alone time :). We are keen to find someone with similar lifestyle to ours (probably meaning similar age - 25-35). A little about us: Bree is originally from Melbourne and has just begun a fulltime PhD in marine science. I moved to Hobart from Perth a couple of years ago and work as a physio. We both enjoy camping, hiking, and being outside, and appreciate good food and beverages of the caffeinated and/or alcoholic variety. Feel free to get in touch if we sound like the magical housemates you have been looking for!
Relaxed easy going individual, have a part time job at a pub and also study full time. Don't smoke, love music and having a cheeky beer or 2 on occasion.. new to Tassie (only been down here for 6 months) and fallen in love with it so looking for somewhere to stay for awhile.. do have a dog (labrador) but he is currently at my folks place in FNQ but would be keen to get him down if I find the right place for him.. he's a big dufus and excellent with other dogs and people.. cheers
Hello! I'm recently returned to Hobart after some adventures around the world, and looking for a place to live. I'm a web developer, mostly working for museums and festivals, and I will be working full-time in Hobart from February until at least July. I like going out to gigs and good times but when I'm home I'm pretty quiet, mostly messing around on the computer or reading.
Emi is chill, easy going, cooks great food, makes great cleaning rosters and sticks to them, likes to socialise but respects the need for sleep and tidy common areas. Also adept at talking in the 3rd person. I’m from the east coast of tas, doing a masters of environmental governance, and will be doing placements plus some part time work. I’m into hiking, biking, gardening, enviro stuff, reading, philosophy, politics, yoga, horse riding, ocean swims, languages etc. Looking for somewhere warm and central
Hello, there! I’m a digital artist looking for a furnished room in a relaxed and tidy household close to Hobart. For the time being, I’m balancing a part-time office day job with freelance and personal projects. I consider myself a shocking introvert, but it’d be nice if my new housemates were people I could share a meal, a few drinks, and a games session with every now and then. I’ve lived in shared houses for three of the past five years, and alone for the other two. Long enough to get a decent idea of how to run a tight ship. I’m also someone who prefers routine, predictability, and clear expectations up front - we’re likely to get along if you’re open to rostered cleaning and such. I left my last home in Launceston after a job I moved up there for fell apart following a company merger. I’ve just been staying with family since then, but it’s way too far out of town for my liking. Work and fun are closely linked for me, but when I’m not drawing, I can be found nerding out on comics, animation, and games, catching up with mates in town for coffee or drinks, or showering love on cool doggos. Once I’m living closer to town, I may pick up some old outdoor hobbies. I have a fair bit of fancy digital art gear to shift when I do move, but I haven’t yet decided whether to set it up in a home office or in one of the coworking spaces in town. I’m probably leaning toward the latter - I think it’s good to have that separation between home and work. All that said, It’s hard to tell how much time I’ll be spending at home - let’s say I’m adaptable on that front. Speaking of doggos - if the property is suitable and you’re open to it, there’s a possibility I could bring one with me. He’s a happy docile short-haired border collie and may be the most affectionate animal on the planet. He gets along well with other dogs but might not be great with other kinds of pets. Hopefully that’s enough to get us started - fling me a message if you think we’ll get along :)
Hi I'm Iain, A 25 year old recent Physio grad relocating to Hobart for work. I'm a social person, who loves the outdoors. My favourite hobbies include basketball, surfing, camping and snowboarding. I enjoy living an active healthy lifestyle. I've lived in share houses previously in Melbourne & coastal Victoria. I am clean and respectful of house rules. I'm a relaxed, friendly and easy going person.
I'm relocating to Hobart from Melbourne in mid Jan 2018, I recently graduated and will be working full time. I'm a proactive person and I'm happy to share the load when it comes to general tasks like cleaning, dishes, washing. I like watching and playing sports. If Im home you will often find me streaming the NBA or playing something on my PC. I consider myself a relaxed, easygoing person and I'm happy to fit into a house that already has an established culture with existing housemates or happy to be part of a team up with others looking to settle in Hobart.
Hello! My name is Rahul, I'm a 23 year old Urban Planning student currently studying at UTAS. I'm a quiet and tidy person that keeps to myself most of the time, though I'm happy to have some fun when appropriate. Please send a message my way if you think I may be suitable to join your home!
Hello. I will be moving to Hobart in the beginning of February to study and work part time. I will be in Tasmania for the next couple of years. I would love to find a home with amazing flatmates. I am tidy, responsible and fun to be around. About myself: I love to explore nature, meet new people and hang out. I am outgoing but also like my quiet time. I don't smoke. I prefer not to live with any pets unless they don't shed. I prefer a quiet home. I don't mind small gatherings once in a while but I don't want to live in a party house. If you ever need some one to go hiking or camping with then I am your woman. I can't wait to explore Tasmania. Feel free to contact me. I am not able to contact "early bird" messages. I am still new to this site. Not sure what things mean. I will look at any offers sent to me. Thanks.
I'm an easy-going, friendly, clean and considerate UTAS student from Launceston. I am in my second year of a BSc majoring in Geography and Environmental Studies but am equally passionate about music, art and good food. I also love to skate and explore the outdoors.
Hi, my name is Millicent and I am a great person to live with because I am relaxed, respectful and hospitable to all people. I love meeting new people, cooking for friends and being social, as well as taking time to read and be creative. I am a full-time student, completing a degree that I love in music, and on the weekends I work casually as a retail assistant for a business that promotes local tasmanian artists. I am neat and tidy and I find beautiful spaces a joy to create.
I am coming to Utas on exchange from Canada and looking for a place to stay from February till the beginning of July. I'm an easy going roommate, clean, and looking forward to exploring Tasmania! Would ideally like to live with other students!
super easy going fella from sydney moving to hobart in may. I'm respectful not only of others belongings but also space (we all need our quiet time). I not only love cooking and food beyond being able to phrase but a fraction of my guilty pleasures include cleaning and maintaining a tidy living space. Hobbies include: exercising, super social (socialising), cooking (including but not limited to eating great food and consuming good booze), tagging pals in quality memes, patting doggos, cracking funny ones, not being boring and watching chick flicks (only the good ones though) Hit me up if you need anything further!
