I'm very easygoing, enjoy social situations, and like living in a friendly, cared for home. I'm moving to Townsville for work (uni) and given I don't know folks there, thought it would be nice to share again. Not into mindless TV watching, but like films, and enjoy spending time with people that are grounded, friendly, know how to live well with others, and interested in the world around us. I'm friendly, reliable, and not into partying. Older on the outside, younger on the inside. Some of my interests are rock climbing, bush walking, permaculture, flourishing communities, live music, healthy cooking, and interesting conversations, to name a few. I tend to get on well with people of all ages, particularly those with spirit, and enthusiasm for life.

Flexible with furnishings. One single bed available. CASH ONLY, non smokers, no drugs, no pets. We have a friendly dog who will no doubt want to cuddle you and roll over for a belly rub. Hi, I'm Bethany, 22, and I'm moving to Townsville in January 2018 to study an MSc in Marine Biology at JCU. Originally from the UK, I'm easy going and sociable and enjoy casual drinking at local bars, watching live music and good old cheese, wine, and Netflix nights. I also love to travel and dive alongside adventuring and hiking in the great outdoors. I am a clean, tidy and respectful housemate who has lived in shared accommodation for the past three years, so I understand the ins and outs of shared living. Happy to live with males or females.
Recently graduated as a Radiation Therapist and moving to Townsville for a full-time job. Looking for a room to rent and to meet new people! I consider myself as an easy going and social person, who is tidy and respectful. Having lived out of home for 3 years already, I understand the importance of cleaning up after yourself, especially in common areas. I love a movie night in just as much as drinks and a night out. Looking for like-minded people that want to hang out but also like to have their own space. :)
Hi all. I'll be moving to Townsville to start up full-time work as a graduate engineer in mid to late January and am keen to move into a share house/apartment. I have lived in Brisbane during my uni years but originally come from Cairns and sort of know my way around Townsville. I play soccer and will be looking to join a team once arriving in Townsville. I try to stay fairly active and like spending time outdoors but also enjoy quiet days of pretty much not doing anything. I like to keep things clean and tidy and am fairly easy going. I am pretty social and enjoy spending time with others but I'm also happy with everyone doing their own thing.
I have lived in Townsville for a year and half, looking to change residence and move off base. With work commitments, my time that would be spent at home is minimal. When I am afforded time at home, it will be spent exercising at odd hours or relaxing at home. Definitely enjoy an evening out with mates over a weekend but always looking to make the most of the East Coast and go away on weekends. I clean out of habit and do know my way around a kitchen. No cook books required.
Hey I'm Katie. I currently work full time however am going to start studying next year and need a place to live. I'm leaning towards the cheaper end of the spectrum, just the basics, it doesn't need to be fancy, as I'd rather not spend my life savings on rent. I'm a neat and tidy person, and I mostly keep to myself. ✌🏼
Looking for short term accommodation in Townsville for a 6 week work contract (may be extended but will discuss this with you). Will need a furnished room. I'm a 24 year old female, work full-time and am very friendly and respectful. I've lived in share houses since I was 18 so I know what makes a good housemate! I'm very neat and tidy and not into drinking or partying. If you have something suitable or want to know more about me, please let me know 😊
Hey everyone! I'll be moving to Townsville to start full-time work as a graduate radiographer in early January and am keen to move into a share house/apartment. I have lived in Brisbane during my university years and want a lifestyle change in far north QLD! I’m easy-going, clean and respectful having lived in a share house for the last 2 years. I am pretty social and enjoy spending time with others but I'm also happy with everyone doing their own thing. I enjoy traveling, photography, cooking, bike riding, tennis and any other outdoor activities!
This property is very close to the Strand, near Jezzine Barracks. The balcony has a view of the Strand, and includes outdoor seating and a day bed. Room is furnished with a king single bed, as well as a desk. Room has air conditioning and fan. Perfect for a student or someone visiting Townsville for work, or for the right person wanting to stay longer term. Short term stays okay. Non smokers only please.
Large property close to the city and the strand with a view of Castle Hill. We get a great breeze through the house which reduces the need for aircon in the summer. Each room has aircon and ceiling fans, the front rooms have roller shutters for complete darkness. We have a large backyard and undercover area for entertaining. Undercover off street parking is available. We are dog friendly people, and have a 12 year old Bullmastiff cross who is an outdoors dog. There are two spare rooms to choose from, and you would have sole use of the main bathroom.
Spacious Queenslander home across from the beach in an ideal location right on the Strand. Just a 15 minute walk to the city and a short drive to JCU. Air conditioning in common areas and in each bedroom, with fully equipped kitchen. Room 1 is downstairs, fully furnished with a double bed and ensuite. Room 2 is upstairs, fully furnished with a double bed and shared bathroom. No pets allowed.
It's a great place to live , peaceful, quiet and central. 5 minute drive to the beach, gyms, yoga, Castle Hill, shops, and the city. You can have your own vegetable garden if you want. The house is a cute 1950's cottage with 3 rooms and me. The room itself has two windows, plenty of light, air conditioning, ceiling fan, desk, and built in wardrobes.
Hey there, my name is Paulina. I'm currently looking for new place to live as my housemate is moving out in December. I'm a registered nurse at Townsville Hospital, clean and tidy, quite sociable and bubbly - I'm really easy to get along with I don't smoke, I exercise a fair bit, love netflix and am a sucker for Mexican food and coffee. I love animals, don't have any of my own, but if you do its all good.
My name is Natalie, I'm 29 years old and have just moved back to townsville to take a job at my old work the Australian Institute of Marine science. I previously lived here for 3 years but have been away travelling the world for the last 9 Months. I'm down to earth, like to keep fit and cook. I'm very sociable and love a chat but also very happy just doing my own thing.
Hey guys! I work full time, and Game/Gym in my free time or am out at driving my car or with my Partner. I have a beautiful little puppy called Candy, she doesn't smell or bark and is preferably an inside dog but loves outside if that's the only option! Thanks! Alex Lefevre
Engineer, single 28yo working roster in the mines down south. Easy going, love to socialise, however appreciate my own space now and again as I'm also studying. More than happy to help out with house up keep 😊
Great location in North Ward. Two blocks to the Strand and one block to the bottom of Castle Hill. Short walk into the city. Second floor apartment with a large balcony. Fully furnished kitchen, living room and bedroom. Internet and Electricity would be the only additional bills (which we would split). Air conditioning units in living room and bedroom.
