This property is a charming multi-level terrace home situated in a lovely suburban neighbourhood. Far enough from the city to get some real peace and quiet but close enough that you'll be in the city centre in less than half an hour. It's just five minutes walk through a dog park to the Balmain ferry which takes you straight to Circular Quay in 15 minutes (the morning ride on the harbour is to die for). If you prefer the bus, almost half a dozen buses will take you to Central or QVB in 10-15mins. Birchgrove peninsula and Balmain are wonderful suburbs full of young professionals and growing families (and lots of dogs!). Darling St (just five mins walk away) contains a variety of well-priced restaurants and cafes, supermarkets for all your grocery needs, pharmacies, doctors, gyms and other shops and stores. The people are very friendly and the streets are lined with green, leafy trees. There are parks everywhere and we are just down the street from the bay. The house contains all the necessities with a shared kitchen that you're welcome to use. The bathroom and laundry are shared amongst all tenants. All shared spaces are kept clean and tidy. This isn't a party house :) You will always be able to find on-street parking nearby if you have a car and we have resident permits for you to use. Your room will be the front room on the ground floor, facing the front yard. It is spacious enough to fit a king bed if you desire. The room gets plenty of light during the day and with the other bedrooms all upstairs, you'll have lots of privacy. It will be unfurnished so you're welcome to make it into whatever you like. Come arrange a viewing and take a look at the room, the property and the neighbourhood for yourself!

Hey there! We are Jaimen and Darius. We are both mates looking to start up an awesome house share somewhere in the inner west, eastern subs or possibly a little south of the city as well. We both work part time as engineers and study at UTS. Were pretty keen to get a new house setup with some other friendly people. We are looking at having 4 of us in total, who are keen to have the odd night in, the odd night out to dinner, drinks, etc. We both have a reasonable amount of stuff going on throughout the week with working, studying and all the fun things we like to do in our spare time but always keen to know what everyone else is up to. All in all were keen to get excited about this and we hope you are too! So if your interested, shoot us a message and we can get in touch. P.s. Darius is the one with the long hair..
work full time in supply planning for a food company and study part time so weekdays are normally pretty busy, however always up to share a beer or meal throughout the week or on weekends. I play tennis nd enjoy travelling and getting out of the city on weekends every now and then. Looking to share with people preferably in there mid 20's

Hello! My name is Emma but everyone calls me Emme (which is actually pronounced Emmy). I like palindromes. I design books and things for a living and so spend a lot of quality time with my laptop. In my spare time I like going to films and art galleries and live music. I love the beach and appreciate it a lot having spent 15 years in London. I am quiet and peaceful and tidy and love painting and exploring nature in my time off. I adore dogs and speak their language fluently.
I work full time and study full time, and I’m looking for somewhere new to call home! I’m sociable, outgoing and quite and tidy person I’m very open minded and easy to get on with and respectful to others privacy.
Words that describe me: clean and orderly. Things i look for: personal space, people that dont make coming home after work/school a chore. 19, international student, gym.
Easy going, cheerful and friendly. I'm sociable, but like my own space sometimes and value that others do too Tidy, but not OCD about it. Work in Architecture, obsessed with soccer, and a board game lover.
I'm a full-time working professional (currently working in the healthcare industry) moving interstate for work. I have plenty of experiences flatsharing - have lived in shared houses with both genders for the past eight years. Quick facts about me: neat and tidy and will definitely clean up after myself, respectful, organised, quite chilled and relaxed, pays bills and rent on time, definitely not keen on a party house, loves cats. Will need a place to park my car and I'm not fussed about the availability of internet as I have my own. I am also open to the idea of short term accommodation to get me through the first few weeks while I look for a permanent place to live in. I have past rental references if you require any. I will be in Sydney from 5 March onwards, so ideally would like to move in on that day if the arrangement is a short term accommodation. Please feel free to contact me if you think I'll be a good match!
Hi there, I am a 37 years old South American who has lived in Australia for over 10 years. Work full time as a migration agent in Annandale. Currently living in Leichhardt and would prefer to stay in the Inner West. I'm an introvert so some days I may socialise but mostly will probably keep to myself. Don't smoke, don't party, don't invite guests. Anywhere in the inner west from Abbotsford to Wareemba.
Hi, my name’s Maddy and I am from the UK. I am coming over to work and explore Sydney and surroundings for about 6 months from January, am friendly and open minded. I graduated this year with a Masters in Biology, and hope to be able to use that to work in the natural areas around Sydney. I am hoping to be able to meet some great people and make some friends, it would be great if I could share a house with some other young, friendly people, who can maybe help me explore the city. I am not very messy, and enjoy baking apple crumble. 🌸
The parks, tennis courts, harbour bridge/city views down the road. The 441 bus stop is 20m away to the QVB. Heaps of pubs and restaurants all within walking distance. The place itself has been very recently re-painted and re-carpeted. Fully furnished.
Hi! I’m just moving to Sydney from work! I’m looking for a nice place or rommie to share a flat or a house... I’m pretty laidback and like to keep things clean. Im Colombian but I’ve lived in several places before so I’m used to have flatmates. Cheers!
Hello there! My name's Steven, but you can call me Steve. I work full-time as a copywriter at an appliance retailer but, despite the trappings of office walls, I am a creative at heart. I love to watch and write about films, to the extent that I review every film I see, old or new. I am a storyteller and jester by nature, and would love to live in a house where the vibe is communal and friendly. I was a bit sceptical about joining a sharehouse with "randoms" after trawling through those Facebook groups where people write their listings with a disingenuous veneer of professionalism. You can attract sensible people to your vacancy without a throwaway line to emphasise, "This is not a party house." I'm not interested in the "cheeky wine" you all have when you're not working. Feeling like a wine is not a breach of propriety. In essence, I'd love to live in a relaxed household that is more than the sum of its bedrooms. I am clean, organised, and am a huge fan of Leaving Things How I Found Them. I'd prefer to live in a house with no more than two other people, but the right housemates could sway me to reconsider. Living in walking distance to a train station is also desired. Cue Steven Wright: "Everywhere is within walking distance if you have the time." Other things I'm interested in include: - Seeing live music - Brunch outings - Rugby league and tennis. I'm indifferent to all other sports. - Reading - Going to art galleries/exhibitions Well, I hope I've endeared myself to at least one person here. Feel free to slap me over the head if I sound too picky. I currently live in Balmain with two housemates but, because it's such a small house, cabin fever is starting to set in. Get in touch if you'd like to team up to look for a place, or if you have a vacancy and think I'd make a good fit. :)
Hey hey! My name is Zeel Patel and I’m 23 years old. I’m moving to Sydney (from Melbourne) towards the end of January (can move earlier for the right roommate/house). I am a laid-back girl who enjoyes company and a chat but also respects privacy and lone time. I like gym and outdoors but also love a good binge watch! I’m a vegetarian but don’t mind if you eat meat as long as you can clean after yourself. I am easy-going and would love to make some new friends! I’d prefer to stay with female roommates. My budget is 300-310 per week max including bills and WIFI. Let me know if you’d like any further information and if you have anything available that matches my description. I am also interested in meeting up and searching for a property together with one or two other girls at the below listed preferences. Looking forward to hearing from you! Thank you! (:
Hello, my name is Vivian and I’m from the Netherlands, but studied last semester in Sydney as well. I’m fluent in English and very social. I will do an internship from January till June in Lilyfield for an outdoor living spaces designer company. I’m clean, love to cook for myself (and others) and like to go out. I like the outdoors and absolutely love going to the beach. Since I’m from the Netherlands I would like to have a room that is furnished.

Hey my name is Afina, I’m 20, very social, like to stay active and love having a meal/ bev with my mates! I’m an ex basketball and rugby athlete but am currently nursing a knee injury so I do enjoy watching the NRL and union on the weekends. I will be working as a head trainer at F45 working 25-30 hours a week in Artarman so I can pay bills on time. Next January I’ll be studying at uni so I will be out of the house quite a bit trying to balance study and work. I’m super laid back and easy to get along with so feel free to hit me up if I’m someone you would want in a future housemate, cheers!
