I'm a passionate designer who loves to go out and try fun things. I'm tidy and quiet but I'm also up for socialising. I am looking for a private room in a share house. I have experience renting and always on time with payments. Move date is flexible. Looking for something long term.
Affable, easy-going, respectful English guy. Active, simple living, looking to share empty 2 bed/ own bath near water/inner west. Hi, I’m Tim, I’ve been in Sydney for nearly 8 years. Into my health and fitness stuff; bootcamp, swimming, mountain biking, SUPing, as well as hibernating in front of Netflix for a dose of sit-com, docco and indie film. Passionate about all kinds of music be-it discovering new stuff, gigs, playing myself or going for a boogie, and football (aka soccer). Also interested in science/tech stuff, self-dev, life drawing, nutrition and cooking (mostly plant based). I work in the city 8:30am - 5pm in digital marketing (web, online advertising, UX, social stuff) for an adult education provider which i enjoy as i’m a bit of a tech nerd:) I’m looking for someone similar to me; clean, tidy-as-you-go, considerate and house proud for the place i like to call home. Not into partying much at home anymore but would be good to socialise with you occasionally sharing a drink/meal whilst chatting about the days comical nuances …or the wonders of the universe, equally cool to disappear into your room all week as I’m very respectful of your privacy and space. I’ll be out a couple of evenings doing stuff in the city (fitness/socialising/show/talk). I have a dry sarcastic sense of humour and like a bit of banter. Looking for a clean minimal apartment with own bathroom and parking either near beach/water or in a complex which has everything (gym, pool etc.) around the inner west. I'll bring; big smiles, no dramas, proper non-ikea furniture, big plants, small herb garden, cool looking fish bowl and kitchenware & white goods etc. i can keep or sell. I'd look to get NBN fast internet too. If this sounds like your kind of housemate give me a shout, tell me what you're into/watching at the moment! :)
Hi there, I'm looking for renting a private room to move in on or few days before 26/08/2017. I'm in 30s and working full time in CBD. Please inbox me if you have any room available. Thank you. Cheers, Jane Phan
I'm John from Canada. I've been in Sydney for two years and Australia for seven. Soon to become a citizen. I've spent lots of time in share houses and I'm very easy to get along with! Pay bills on time, tidy and social. Looking for places in the inner west near Iron Cove. John
I am an easy going, 28, a foodie who is 'fresh off the boat' as you Aussies like to say. I'm an Art dealer who is running a Gallery full time in Rozelle. As I am new to Sydney I am looking for people to help me explore the city - there is so much to see. Ideally, I am looking for housemates who enjoy day/nights out with each other who are also professional. I'm a bit of a Nature Junkie. I love long walks and hanging around the beach. I also love the theater, clubbing, shopping, and dining out. Most of my wage goes on food and wines so if you're looking for a housemate who might help you save I am not your girl. When I'm not out and about I enjoy watching series and having movie nights in.
Model and Veterinary student from the US I will be doing my last and clinical year as a practicing veterinarian at the University of Sydney Veterinary Hospital. Financially stable, clean and hard working person. I am looking for a nice place to live for 6mo-1year.
Hello! My name is Jamilla, im 25 years old and have an adorable sharpei pup called Indiana Bones. I am currently studying child care and work part time nannying and part time bar work. I am a laid back muso and like to be active throughout the week (gym or hiking etc). I am very respectful of privacy and space, but am happy to socialise and cook dinner for us sometimes as well if you want. I do not smoke and I am all about open communication. I would prefer to live with someone who is similar and will not be passive aggressive, but open and honest about any issues there may be (everyone is different and has their own 'things'). Look forward to hearing from you! Thanks for your time. Have a great day! Jamilla
Hi,my name is Jonathan, originally from the UK (been here 15 years+) I work in a sales related role for a major VC manufacturer, like most people nowadays I put in long working hours (but I don't mind),a bit of interstate travel as well. Spare time socializing, watching sport,(Swans, footy, racing etc), spend a lot of my spare time winding up various friends kids because I am one myself (and then with any luck getting fed!) I have a good sense of humor(well I think I do!) laughter is crucial, live gigs, occasional theatre and tend to head back to Europe at least once a year to remind myself of how lucky I am to get a gig here in Australia.
Hey! I'm Gab, currently in Five Dock but looking to move around Balmain as I spend most of my time there already for work! I don't mind the occasional wine but def not a huge drinker and I am not into the whole party thing. (Ideally would love to find someone slightly similar in this regard!--but i swear i'm not a prude) I'm vegan (i promise i'm not an asshole about it) ps- i'm also interested in anyone wanting to team up & go on a lease for a new place! please send me a message if i sound like someone you are looking for! Hello! I've been living in Sydney for the past 10 months and have loved living in Balmain and would like to stay close to the area. I'm a really positive and friendly person and love to have a great relationship with those I live with, however I also do need my own space to unwind from time to time. I love my home to be a happy and clean environment and I love animals and don't have any issues living with them at all. If you are looking for a happy and easy going person to move into your home, please send me a message and I'd love to have a chat with you. Hope you're having a lovely day! :)
Hey! I'm a Sydney born full time student who goes to the University of Sydney. I'm currently doing an arts degree, psych and economics major. I'm the youngest of five in my family so I'm well accustomed to sharing bathrooms/space and am used to a full house where people would always pop over and we were always entertaining. With a lot of people can come a lot of mess so I'm very conscious of tidiness and cleanliness. As you can imagine, because there was rarely a quiet moment in my household, I value my space and down time a lot and respect the space of others. Though I'm not the best saver, I work part time and budget so paying rent and utilities on time shouldn't be an issue for me. People have said I'm bubbly and friendly, loves a vino and is pretty laid back. I'm looking for a room in the inner west/inner city. I have all my own bedroom furniture but don't have anything else yet! So preferably looking for a place that is already padded out but happy to contribute as well.
Clean, tidy, social but respect personal space, pay rent on time - everytime... Looking for easy going non-judgemental people Move-in date flexible - also flexible with length of stay Prefer non-furnished as I have all my own stuff...
Great location, views of Sydney Harbour and Bridge. Peaceful and quiet. Most of the time I am not here so you get the place to yourself. Has a bath, tv, dvd player, wifi, loads of books and very comfortable and clean. Close to famous shops, pubs and transport.
Seeking a room for a couple Twin shared or private couple room either is fine. New zealander and Japanese couple moving to Sydney. I have been offered a job in IT/japanese speaking role in the CBD and my girlfriend is lined up to finish a hospitality diploma while working part time. I don't know sydney that well and at this stage I'm open to any location that would allow a 30 minute (from door to door) commute to Kent street (my office is near the corner of Kent st and Erskine Street). Personality wise, we are both mature, sociable and enjoy having a healthy balanced lifestyle. Our hobbies include: cooking, exercise and spending time in nature (sun/parks/beaches ) , gardening and the occasional dvd. I have a job offer to work in Sydney but the 1st 2 weeks are in San Francisco at the headquarters of the company. After the 2 weeks I fly straight to Sydney and start working around July 17. Because I have to start working immediately I would prefer to have accommodations sorted before going. Therefor I won't be able to do an inspection before moving in I will go by photos/videos and contact with the owner (ideally phone call). If accommodation fits my requirements and I can exchange some messages with the owner I would be open to paying $50 or so per week from now until I arrive in order to make a hold on the room. We are not party people other notes. Do not intend on buying a car. I have written "1 year" but we would definitely consider a location that was 5 months or longer especially if it was furnished. No drugs/smoking. Would like a location that has a gas stove top for cooking and a laundry (washing machine + dryer/outside place to hang clothes) Both perfectly fine with pets. especially cats. I am happy to give out information such as facebook profile or LinkenIn Profile via message so you can find out more about me or Mikiko.
I work in the city full time, usually pretty long hours... I'm an easy going person that very tidy and neat. I also love to have a glass of wine after work and I'm pretty social but not a party animal. Love being out on the beach during weekends. Also I'm French and can cook and bake fairly well!
Hello ! My name is Pauline and I am an international student at Sydney University. I am also teaching french. I am very easygoing, tidy and quiet. I like to have fun, go out and explore, but I also enjoy nice evenings at home !
Hi my name is Alena, I am a working student studying BABCOM at Macquarie university.I am also working two jobs therefore I'm out most of the time. I am friendly, clean and tidy. I am quite chilled and quite sociable. I'm looking into moving a household preferably long-term and close to cbd therefore, If anyone is planning to move into city please P.M me. We could find a place together😊
Amazing location, house & housemates. I'm not moving out, I am just travelling for 7 weeks & subletting my room while I am away. Bills are included in price, dates are negotiable. Living with 2 respectful, clean & working professionals. Less than 5 minutes walk to bus stop on Darling St & less than 10 minutes to Balmain ferry wharf.
*pics from letsrent* *1 room avail not sure which one yet* This property will be available very soon! I have just secured it recently and will move on a few weeks time. The apartment itself is incredible, modern with views over Balmain peninsula and the Harbour Bridge. The bathroom is newly renovated and the rooms are huge! Large open plan living/dining area with a balcony/deck. It is located on a busy road in Balmain so be aware there may be a bit of noise. It is on top of a bakery, but the best part about Balmain is the pedestrian life, shops, cafes, bars, pubs etc so it's great to be in the heart of that. Bus comes from pretty much outside the bakery and ferry is a short walk away. Things to consider: - it is on top of a bakery up a very large flight of stairs. there's no other way up or down so you need to make sure you can get your stuff and yourself up to the apartment safely! - I have enough furniture to fit a king single or double bed room, wardrobe, drawers, table etc. this would come at an increased price which is negotiable depending what you need if anything at all :) - The property is really lovely and the neighbours seem nice so I'd like to be respectful. Smoking is ok on the balcony but keeping the doors closed! - I am a pretty proactively clean person and whilst everything needs to be clean I like a house to be lived in so if you're super strict with it being a bit untidy then it's not for you. In saying that I'm pretty good at keeping common areas clean :) Any other questions just get in touch!

I'm a mature quiet and tidy professional who travels for business, and relocated from Brisbane to Sydney due to work commitments 6 months ago. Except for dinner parties, I'm not into house parties. I'm looking for share accommodation for initially 6 months and longer if the place is suitable, with 1 or 2 mature professional people of either gender. I don't mind living with pets but prefer cats..Room can be either furnished or unfurnished. Maximum of $300 including or excluding any outgoings. I would like something in any of the surrounding areas of Abbortsford, Concord, Newington, but am flexible with this and would consider further out if the place was right. I would also prefer off street parking if possible. I'm quiet, tidy, easy going, non smoker, non TV addict, who enjoys good conversation, respectful of others, and will pull my weight with household chores, including sharing the cost of groceries and cooking. In addition to other activities, I enjoy going to the markets, eating out on weekends and the movies.

I make my own hours up but tend to head to work around 6/6:30am and finish up early afternoon. I'm clean and will respect communal areas! I love red wine. Please love wine.

Hello out there! We're a cute dashing Danish couple on our way to experience wonderful Australia, from the vantage point of lovely Sydney. We're looking for a room in a flatshare, with some nice flatmates. Nothing fancy, too partying or the like - just people willing to share a cup of tea or a beer and hang out with us. Tom will be working in an architect studio as an urban designer and Mal will be studying anthropology at Macquarie University. We love board games, swing dancing and having a good time. Please contact us if we sound like your new flatmates! :)
I have mostly had long term flatmate relationships of 5-7 years and am still friends with them. Hopefully that says something about me as a flatmate. Yoga, running and hopefully soon, swimming are my past times of choice. I enjoy that old fashioned activity of going to the cinema. Music, a little bit of theatre and attending the various festivals that are on throughout the year in Sydney are common things I enjoy as well as the occasional dinner party. I am interested in starting a new house share with one to two others. I am not in a hurry to move and can move with 3 weeks notice. Price wise I'd be looking at places starting from $900 for two bedroom and $1200 for 3 bedroom. The place I am looking for would need to be within a 10-12 min walk of the intersection of Darling Street and Victoria Road - there are a surprising number of places in this range. Looking forward to meeting new and interesting people.
Hiya, I'm an easy-going person with the sense of the respect to the personal space. I am available to move in on the 5th of August. Working full time in corporate hotel sales, quite ambitious so you won't see me sitting home during the week at all, however, I wouldn't mind to chill on the weekend.
Hi there! I work full time in a consulting firm in the city. I will be studying during semester time so I'll be pretty flat-out. I enjoy going to the gym, bingeing on Netflix and going out with friends. Summer will see me at the beach and outside as often as is possible and winter will see me curled up in a blanket burrito watching movies. I am looking for my own room (no roomshare arrangements) preferably large enough for a queen bed and storage (built-in wardrobe would be even better).
Hi there, I'm Kev - Kiwi by birth, but have lived in England for the majority of my life. I've been in Sydney for close to three years now though. I'm very clean and tidy (bordering on OCD), well travelled and love the outdoor life that Australia offers in spades. I work in IT Infrastructure - usually typical office hours, but am sometimes away with work. In the evenings, I enjoy catching up with friends / family and sharing a glass or two of wine with my housemate. I guess I would suit living with someone(s) who who is neat and tidy and appreciates health and well-being. Someone sociable that would have a chat at the end of a long day and is just generally respectful of other people.
For work, I will be moving to Sydney from Canberra. I am an IT professional 34yo male and will be working in CBD. I am looking for a stay for myself only for 4 months from Aug 1st or 2nd onwards. I am planning to be in Sydney on 1st Aug. I love my work at the same time do my regular yoga and be social. Respect everyone's time and space. Don't cook that often. If I am in kitchen, mostly it will be for water, tea or coffee. So kitchen will be clean! Love Yoga! Happy to watch movies in Cinema but that will be occasional. Never say no to a decaf Mocha! Vegetarian but always happy to accompany mates to different cuisines
We are all students and friends, we came together for study English and to meet people all over the world, for that reason we choose Sydney. Between Studying and working we don´t much time, but we want to have a safe place where we can relax and enjoy our privacy.
