I'm new to Sydney as work has relocated me down from Brisbane/Gold Coast. I am an easy going and clean person who is really into AFL and enjoy a cold beverage. During the week I will be at work out in Macquarie Park but I would like to explore the city and the surrounds a bit more on the weekends.
work full time for a food company in the city and study logistics part time so week days are normally quiet, but weekends i'm always up for a few beers. I play tennis and basketball and enjoy travelling and getting out of the city every now and then.
With a cosmopolitan character, Balmain is one of the best suburbs to live in. From the property you will have access to scenic harbour views, vibrant weekly markets, an array of shops and trendy restaurants - many locally owned. Because of its location there is always something to do and it is conveniently located just a short 30 minutes from Sydney Airport and a 15 minute train ride from the city. The property itself is conveniently located next to Darling Street which is the shopping and restaurant hub as well as the home to a number of fitness centres and Townhall, and also near Mort Bay Park and Mort Bay where you can catch a ferry to Darling Harbour, Drummoyne or Parramatta.
I'm a 31-year-old consultant. I enjoy the outdoors - camping with mates, hiking, canyoning, surfing and generally being active. I've lived all over the world and have settled back home in Sydney. I like to keep my stuff tidy and don't shirk on the collective chores. Looking forward to meeting chilled people.

We have a large bedroom available in our lovely home in Birchgrove. The house is huge with a beautiful big wrap around verandah and large living room. There are 2 shared bathrooms and a well-equipped kitchen with a gas stove and extensive spice collection. We're in a great location, only a few hundred metres from the water and close to Birchgrove and Balmain ferry terminals. It's 50 metres to the 441 bus stop which will take you straight into the city and only 5 minutes walk to cafes, restaurants and supermarkets on Darling Street. You would be living with 3 cool peeps in their mid 20s - Raydn, David & Pip. We are looking for someone friendly and easy going who will fit in well with the house dynamic. We all work different schedules but like to hang out in the evening and share a meal/stories from our day/listen to Raydn's scintillating bus adventures. Rent is paid monthly on the 5th. Bond is 4 weeks rent. Bills are shared evenly between the 4 of us (generally about $40 a month for electricity, gas & unlimited internet). Move in date is flexible, available from the 14th. Send me an email if you're keen to check out the room and meet us all!
Hi! I've just got a job in Sydney and thought Flatmates.com would be an awesome way to meet people. Its just myself and my pooch (Jesse). My name is Greer, I'm 27, clean, easy going, non-smoker (but don't mind if I live with smokers) and love going out for drinks and dinner. I'm from Brisbane but I have a few family members and friends around Sydney as well as working full-time so my dog and I won't really be in your face all the time. I'm LGBT+ friendly and 100% all for equality. The dog, Jesse - she's awesome. She's 6 and a Kelpie, but don't let that scare you - she doesn't bark as much as a normal Kelpie and is extremely loving. She gets along with dogs very easily - but cats...not so much. I've never written an add like this before so I think I've covered the basics - let me know if I can answer any more questions you may want to know :)
Hello, Beth, 29, lighting technician in the film and television industry. Own my own business and work in a Bar.. I am very enthusiastic for an active life, 'try to' surf, hike, climb. Enjoy a glass of good wine or hoppy beer. I'm very social also very respectful towards others and their needs. I can't concentrate in a mess so I like it clean, also love to cook! Brief but to the point, if you'd like to know more happy to oblige.. Ultimately I'm looking for a home emulating harmony, respect, good banter..
Busy working and studying, just need my own space.
Hi, I'm Eoin (pronounced 'Owen'),I'm a 27 year old landscape architect working at a boutique consultancy in a shared office in Surry Hills, working full-time along side architects, industrial designers, urban planners and community engagement specialists. Very passionate about what I do for work and find that it is the driving force behind personal projects that I develop/ undertake in my free time. I try to lead a balanced lifestyle, making sure I offset my hours spent at the office in front of a computer with either the gym, cycling, walking or relaxing in a park. When home I generally like to keep to myself as free time is precious when working full time, but I'm also happy to hangout/cook with housemates after work or brunch on the weekend. Don't mind a few cold ones, but not looking for a party place. I don't have heaps of things, just room stuff ( bed, desk etc), a couple of ferns, and a motorcycle that can be kept on the street. Just looking for a comfortable place to live with some quality individuals.

I just accepted a new job in Sydney and will be relocating from Brisbane. During the week I will be working regular office hours in the city and on the weekends I’ll be mostly out and about. I’ve never lived in Sydney before so will be looking to explore and discover as much as possible. In my spare time I’ll hit the gym, go jogging, meet friends or head outdoors. I’m a clean, quiet person who likes their alone time but more than happy to have a beer and shoot the breeze with housemates.
Hey there, To tell you a bit about myself, I'm sociable, easy-going, 26 and Australian. I work full-time in Operations for a not-for-profit, and spend my spare time catching up with friends, going to the gym, exploring Sydney, frequenting local cafes and restaurants, and generally keeping busy. I enjoy a good banter, but also respect everyone's need for down time. I'm looking to move in with like-minded people, who want to create a home and who I can hopefully become friends with. Happy to move into an established home, or start a new one. I can be flexible with move-in dates. If you think I might be a suitable fit for what you're looking for, it would be great to hear from you. Thanks, Zsofi :)
I was born in Switzerland from Spanish parents, I am now also Aussie, its a long story. I love Sydney and the active lifestyle. I am easy going, respectful and caring. I have shared accomodation before many times and have created long term friendships with my flatmates. I love sports and fitness and healthy lifestyle. I care for the well-being of the people around me. I love trekking, fitness and boating. I work on the government ferries, its a full time job.
Room for available for female housemate. We have a fully furnished bedroom available in our two bedroom apartment just off Darling Street, Balmain. Our home is fully renovated, sunny and has all the modcons. Your room has a queen sized bed, nightstand and buit ins. There is also the option to bring your own furniture. Less than a 15 minute bus ride to Town Hall or short ferry ride to Circular Quay. Minutes walk from amazing cafes and heritage pubs.
Next to Balmain wharf with a private beach. (I know right?) Not the largest apartment in Balmain, but the location is bloody choice. Unless the sound of children's laughter in the park across the road makes you question your solitary existence, in which case this is probably not the place for you. (Or, you know, just buy ear plugs.) Please note: I was about to buy some curtains for the bedroom because I really don't like the new pull-down blind the landlord installed, but then my flatmate announced he was moving out so I announced I'll be relocating into his room. Anyway, we can go curtain shopping together if you hate roller blinds as much as I do.

I have a two bedroom workman's cottage close to supermarket, buses and ferry. About 15 minutes from city. Have a small dog, adorable. Fully furnished. Street parking available. House is light and comfortable. Balmain is a gorgeous area, lots of life with shops, cafes, pubs, but where I live, surprisingly very quiet. I follow vegan diet but happy for someone to cook meat if that is their preference. Neighbours are friendly and approachable. I have NBN connected but not yet chosen internet carrier. If you have a preference, happy to join up and share cost.
This flat is in the perfect location! It is a minute walk to the bus stop, and a minute to the ferry wharf. On the ferry or the bus, it's only 15 minutes to the city (depending on traffic for the bus). There are plenty of lovely cafes and pubs nearby, as well as nice walks and harbour views. There is off street parking also available. The room is large and nicely furnished, and could suit an individual or a couple. The common spaces are furnished and always clean, with a large lounge/dining room.

Hi I am a looking for a private room in a flatshare environment. Late 40's working Professional, mature and have respect for home, people and surrounds. Easy going and friendly, looking to share with similar housemates. I enjoy most ball sports, Soccer, AFL, League, watching not playing these days, lol. Too many footy war - injuries. I am a contract Project Manager that is currently working in the CBD for a large corporate client and looking for a place within a 5km radius of the CBD so that I don't have to commute to far or too long. I am typically out of the house around 7:30-8:00am and return around 6:30- 7pm most weeknights. Weekends, I am pretty much away every weekend up the coast in QLD, sun and surf. I am from QLD and travel regularly most weekends up and down the coast Fly-in, Fly-out, typically fly-out on a Friday night and fly-in back either Sunday night or Monday morning, depending on work schedule. I'm pretty quiet, very easy to get along with and don't mind a social chat after work. I can cook, have been doing it for years actually, and keep my place and surrounds clean. Don't mind going out for dinner or getting some takeaway, with a glass of wine and good chat about nothing in particular, good social chat after work. I am currently sharing a house in the south western suburbs and want to move closer to the CBD to reduce my commute time. I will require some form of parking, either off street or on street (not metered). Ideally off street if possible. I am looking for a furnished private room, ideally with a Queen or Double bed, in the following areas which include: Inner Sydney areas : Balmain, Rozelle, Lilyfield, Annandale, Petersham, Stanmore, Newtown, Glebe, Ultimo, Pyrmont, Surry Hills. Easy walking distance to CBD or short trip on public transport. North Sydney areas: Milsons Point, North Sydney, Kirribilli, Cremorne, Crows Nest, St Leonards, Cammeray, Wollstonecraft and Mosman as a my preferred locations. I don't have any furniture, so I prefer a furnished place. Just me, my clothes, a couple of bags, my car and my charming cheeky humour, lol. Happy to chat and share a wine after work. Drop me a line if you have a room for a fair price. I do have a budget which I am trying to stick to. Talk soon. Regards Eddie

Hi all, I work full time in the CBD mon-fri and am looking for a place that is closer to work. I am a creature of habit, so I gym every morning, go to work, and come home to a movie and wine. Simplicity is key, so i'm most definitely a tidy person! :) On the weekends, I am mostly in Canberra or travelling somewhere wherever the footy takes me, as my partner plays. Occasionally when games are in Sydney he comes up mid to end of week and stays a night or 2.
I'm a kiwi who moved over almost a year ago. I have a full time job in Balmain, working at flight centre. I cook for myself and clean up after myself. Enjoy a couple drinks, not a huge party person. Love to dance and keep active.
We are a friendly, tidy and quiet couple who both work in hospitality. We like to enjoy a beer or glass of wine occasionally and typically spend lots of time out and about and don’t spend much time at home. Steph is 20 and from NZ. Will is 21 from the UK. We do not smoke and will not have parties at home.
I just moved to Sydney from Perth for work! I work pretty long hours during the week but love cheese, wine and some great (or not so great- married at first sight I'm talking about you) TV to wind down! I like to get out shopping or exploring on the weekends and do love spending Saturday nights out with friends or just hanging at home! I'm going to be honest and say my cooking skills are limited but I do try my best! I am really neat and tidy and know when to keep myself but I would love to live with people I consider friends just to make home that much nicer! I would love to hear from you and catch up for a coffee/ drink if you think we could live together! Xxx
I'm currently in Australia for my placement year. I'm doing the second half of my placement here, in Sydney and I will living Sydney on the 21st June.
I am a friendly outgoing person who moved to Sydney two months ago from London. I enjoy relaxing evenings and going to the gym in the week and going out for drinks/ dinner on the weekend. Favorite hobby is probably going out for brunch and always partial to a glass of wine or G & T.
