Hello! I'm a home owner & film student, currently in Byron & looking at returning to Sydney in late October. Ideally I'd love my own place but due to the current budget I'm open to hearing any ideas that might suit both our situations such as: furnished rentals, house-sitting, pet minding, caring for gardens, subletting, giving you a break from Airbnb or sharing with awesome, respectful people who value authenticity & you know, are just decent, kind folk. I'd LOVE to share a beautiful home in a beautiful area with one or two other people who have animals, who travel a lot - and my pet minding could lower my rental contribution. Open to ideas such as that! My ideal home is a private, clean & quiet one and I have excellent references. I love fires, baths, & pianos too but will leave that up to the gods. Also, I've written '$250' as my maximum rent as this is ideal, but of course I am aware that it's not the 90's & would be willing to discuss this further if something perfect came my way. Thanks for your time, MG
Hi awesome people! Nathan here, I'm 30 years young and a full time working professional. I work in the lighting/energy efficiency industry and love what I do. I moved to Sydney 3 years back from Florida, yes that's correct, Florida baby! Fell in love with this city and decided I ain't going back. I'm into fitness (big time!), healthy lifestyle, love road trips, prefer to have a chilled time with friends rather than wild binge drinking sessions (don't mind once in a while ;)) and very easy going with any human being and animals (except crocs, nah we don't roll). Considering myself not to be a boy anymore, the cleanliness department is pretty much covered (you can breathe a sigh of relief now). Always up for a chat/drink with my flatmates, and absolutely dig some group cooking sessions. I will also share a plethora of stories about our beloved crocs, sink holes and storms in Florida! I'm looking for a home and not a house where I can connect and have awesome friendships with flatmates. If you prefer a super quiet flatmate aka stranger, then I'm not your guy sorry. Looking forward to finding the right one, I mean home haha! Cheers Nathan
I'm 25, have just finished studying and I'll be moving to Sydney (from Wollongong) to start full time work as a lawyer. I've lived in plenty of share houses before and know how to get along with people in a share house. I always clean the kitchen straight after I've used it and am a big fan of keeping a clean house. I'm a pretty quiet guy who enjoys fitness (going to the gym and outdoor workouts), working on side projects (at the moment it's coding and finance), watching Netflix and getting outside. I'm a huge fan of some of the hikes around Sydney. I'm looking for a place where I can have some quiet time and relax but also don't mind a drink and catch up on weekends. I think that I'll contribute well to a house with a "social but not party" vibe.
Hi there. My name is Steve and I'm a 29 year old guy (gay) originally from country NSW although, I've lived in Sydney for many years now. Hoping to find a new home and flat mate, come August. I work in marketing 5 days per week between 8:30-5:00. I have an active social life outside of home and have always considered myself the perfect housemate :) Very clean, tidy and considerate, I'm looking forward to finding like minded people to enjoy renting a home with. Reason for my search - my current lease will soon expire after 2 years of holding it. I do smoke (outdoors) although am trying to quit. I am tidy and respectful of communal spaces. Love having the occasional drink or meal together but don’t depend on this – I have a good group of friends. Enjoy the occasional night our, but my main focuses are my family, friends and work. I would enjoy living with all sorts of people – provided they are also tidy, respectful, open-minded, honest, caring and cooperative. I have no special dietary restrictions although I’m often out at meal times, so I tend to look after myself. I am always keen for communal dinners however, as well as BBQ’s. If there is anything else you would like to know, please feel free to contact me. Steve
I'm a 22 year old Masters student at UTS in need of a home! I'm pretty relaxed and friendly in all aspects of life. When it's nice out I like to visit markets or go on little adventures discovering new parts of Sydney, I also don't mind spending a day chilling at home in my pj's having a lotr/Disney marathon. I do like cooking and always enjoy company when doing so. Looking to make a few new friends in the process of moving, not just housemates. Definitely not a party animal although I will enjoy a few down at the pub when catching up with friends. I have a full-time job in Balmain and like to keep things generally clean at home. I prefer a familial style household where we all look out for each other a bit. If this sounds like what you're after, shoot me a message 🙂.
I am an easy going, 28, a foodie who is 'fresh off the boat' as you Aussies like to say. I'm an Art dealer who is running a Gallery full time in Rozelle. As I am new to Sydney I am looking for people to help me explore the city - there is so much to see. Ideally, I am looking for housemates who enjoy day/nights out with each other who are also professional. I'm a bit of a Nature Junkie. I love long walks and hanging around the beach. I also love the theater, clubbing, shopping, and dining out. Most of my wage goes on food and wines so if you're looking for a housemate who might help you save I am not your girl. When I'm not out and about I enjoy watching series and having movie nights in.
Model and Veterinary student from the US I will be doing my last and clinical year as a practicing veterinarian at the University of Sydney Veterinary Hospital. Financially stable, clean and hard working person. I am looking for a nice place to live for 6mo-1year.
Hi,my name is Jonathan, originally from the UK (been here 15 years+) I work in a sales related role for a major VC manufacturer, like most people nowadays I put in long working hours (but I don't mind),a bit of interstate travel as well. Spare time socializing, watching sport,(Swans, footy, racing etc), spend a lot of my spare time winding up various friends kids because I am one myself (and then with any luck getting fed!) I have a good sense of humor(well I think I do!) laughter is crucial, live gigs, occasional theatre and tend to head back to Europe at least once a year to remind myself of how lucky I am to get a gig here in Australia.
Hey! I'm Gab, currently in Five Dock but looking to move around Balmain as I spend most of my time there already for work! I work full time as a nanny & also studying fulltime so am always fairly busy! I am super easygoing and love to hang out but also love time to myself. I don't mind the occasional wine but def not a huge drinker and I am not into the whole party thing. (Ideally would love to find someone slightly similar in this regard!--but i swear i'm not a prude) I'm vegan (i promise i'm not an asshole about it) ps- i'm also interested in anyone wanting to team up & go on a lease for a new place! please send me a message if i sound like someone you are looking for! Thank you :)

Hey! I'm a Sydney born full time student who goes to the University of Sydney. I'm currently doing an arts degree, psych and economics major. I'm the youngest of five in my family so I'm well accustomed to sharing bathrooms/space and am used to a full house where people would always pop over and we were always entertaining. With a lot of people can come a lot of mess so I'm very conscious of tidiness and cleanliness. As you can imagine, because there was rarely a quiet moment in my household, I value my space and down time a lot and respect the space of others. Though I'm not the best saver, I work part time and budget so paying rent and utilities on time shouldn't be an issue for me. People have said I'm bubbly and friendly, loves a vino and is pretty laid back. I'm looking for a room in the inner west/inner city. I have all my own bedroom furniture but don't have anything else yet! So preferably looking for a place that is already padded out but happy to contribute as well.

I'm a mature quiet and tidy professional who travels for business, and relocated from Brisbane to Sydney due to work commitments 6 months ago. Except for dinner parties, I'm not into house parties. I'm looking for share accommodation for initially 6 months and longer if the place is suitable, with 1 or 2 mature professional people of either gender. I don't mind living with pets but prefer cats..Room can be either furnished or unfurnished. Maximum of $300 including or excluding any outgoings. I would like something in any of the surrounding areas of Abbortsford, Concord, Newington, but am flexible with this and would consider further out if the place was right. I would also prefer off street parking if possible. I'm quiet, tidy, easy going, non smoker, non TV addict, who enjoys good conversation, respectful of others, and will pull my weight with household chores, including sharing the cost of groceries and cooking. In addition to other activities, I enjoy going to the markets, eating out on weekends and the movies.
Hello out there! We're a cute dashing Danish couple on our way to experience wonderful Australia, from the vantage point of lovely Sydney. We're looking for a room in a flatshare, with some nice flatmates. Nothing fancy, too partying or the like - just people willing to share a cup of tea or a beer and hang out with us. Tom will be working in an architect studio as an urban designer and Mal will be studying anthropology at Macquarie University. We love board games, swing dancing and having a good time. Please contact us if we sound like your new flatmates! :)

I won't lie, I love trash TV, a bevie or two and consider myself pretty down to earth
My name is Jan, 26 years old, and I am from Germany. I will continue my Master studies in Management at the University of Sydney this August. I am a social person, love to meet new people, active and into sports but also always down for a relaxed chat with a good glass of wine/beer. I am clean and used to live in several shared apartments, during my first years of work as well as my previous studies.
Im Dan. 24 year old physiotherapist working in Balmain. Looking for something closer to work because I'm sick of commuting. I like to keep fit, cook, read and enjoy the occasional netflix binge. Hoping to find somewhere thats a home rather than a house where everyone is friendly and we can wind down after a day at work together with a drink from time to time. Enjoy the occasional meal together but also can respect each other's privacy. Not looking for a party house. Cheers!
Friendly, tidy and respectful couple. I study a master in commerce at Sydney Uni, whilst working part time. My husband is a musician, casual employee and home stay cook. We like to use our bikes as a means of transport (when possible). We like to party every once in a while, but we enjoy a lot simple plans like a glass of wine, snacks, chat, movie or music at home. Ideally we search for a 6 months stay that might turn into 12 months. As we come from Mexico, we value our home, friends and family more than anything.
I work in research support in a local university and I'm looking for a short-term stay (12 Nov - 23 Dec 2017). I'm very outgoing, considerate and friendly. I enjoy my job because I work with researchers and academics and it's an absolutely interesting and eye-opening environment to be in. At home, I'm very neat, tidy and clean. I clean up immediately after cooking, and clean the house and bathroom every weekend. I teach English as a second language on the side. I also love languages. I speak Bahasa Indonesia, French, Mandarin and Welsh. I absolutely love cats! In my pastime, I play music and read.
Originally from the Far South Coast down near Victoria. I'm easy going, relaxed, clean, and respectful. I like to have fun and socialise, but also respect privacy. I'm studying nursing at UNDA, and am working part-time. I enjoy listening to music and playing drums. I do have a drum kit, but don't be worried as I have a rehearsal space where I practise. Am very LGBTI+ friendly.
