Hello Sydney I'm Andrew 44 yrs and my partner is Michelle 36 yrs, we are a very domesticated Aussie couple looking for a home not a party pad. We are really easy going, friendly and helpful. Both working, so quality home time is valued and needed. Great cooks and gardeners (I'm a Horticulturist and Michelle is a Chef/ Barista/ Bartender) so we can enjoy small social gathering if they happen. We are quite self contained respectful and responsible. We have have lived in many shared places and get along with all ages- except those who require a mummy or daddy.
Hi, we're moving to Sydney from London and looking to find a great place in the inner west suburbs-Balmain/Rozelle or lower north shores area. Keen to live with like-minded, easy-going people who're keen for a laugh but also reliable and considerate other other housemates etc. About us: Mark (English) is a 28yo professional who loves his sport, likes a beer and loves to cook! Jen (Scottish) also 28, works in banking, likes going to the gym, chilling out watching tv and enjoys a cheeky gin from time to time! We're both pretty chilled out, easy to get on with and respectful of other housemates etc. Looking to find somewhere to move in from end of April. Cheers, Mark & Jen
Fun, friendly, long time sharer of houses, with no complaints thus far and plenty of good friends made along the way. Melbourne > Sydney via a few stints living and working in a few different countries. Lefty lawyer, music & animal lover (will walk your dog), festival goer, into politics/social justice but also meditation and yoga, usually out and about at social activities or some obscure art/ethics/spirituality/science/tech event during the week and often off camping and hiking on the weekends. Ideally looking for like minded people and a house with lots of laughter that's a short walk to the beach. I need parking and a fairly decent sized bedroom to fit my regular as well as my fancy dress clothes =) Queer and all nationalities friendly.
I am a young and vibrant woman with quite a bit of personality and a seemingly good sense of humour. I am a heritage consultant and have lived in Aus for 5 years. I offer to be respectful and tidy as well as prepare home cooked meals (if you don't mind rich french food!) and share a bottle of wine occasionally. I'm generally easy going and open minded so whether you like to have a chat at the end of the day or prefer privacy suits me. Get in touch to ask any questions!
Hello there! My name's Steven, but you can call me Steve. I currently work a full-time office job at an appliance retailer, but I am a creative at heart. I love to watch and write about films, to the extent that I review every film I see, old or new. I am a storyteller and jester by nature, and would love to live in a house where the vibe is communal and friendly. I was a bit sceptical about joining a sharehouse with "randoms" after trawling through those Facebook groups where people write their listings with a disingenuous veneer of professionalism. You can attract sensible people to your vacancy without a throwaway line to emphasise, "This is not a party house." I'm not interested in the "cheeky wine" you all have when you're not working. Feeling like a wine is not a breach of propriety. In essence, I'd love to live in a relaxed household that is more than the sum of its bedrooms. I am clean, organised, and am a huge fan of Leaving Things How I Found Them. I'd prefer to live in a house with no more than two other people, but the right housemates could sway me to reconsider. Living in walking distance to a train station is also desired. Cue Steven Wright: "Everywhere is within walking distance if you have the time." Other things I'm interested in include: - Seeing live music - Brunch outings - Rugby league and tennis. I'm indifferent to all other sports. - Reading - Going to art galleries/exhibitions Well, I hope I've endeared myself to at least one person here. Feel free to slap me over the head if I sound too picky. Apart from a one month stint of house-sitting in Petersham last year, I have always lived at home. I am a little bit nervous but mostly excited to throw myself into the vast unknown. :)
Hey future flatmates! I've moved up from Melbourne for a new position in banking/IT in Barangaroo. I can stay with family while I search so am semi-flexible with dates. I'll be moving up with just my personal things so happy to have a furnished house but furnish my own room. I'm originally from Canada (near Vancouver). I'm laid back, enjoy a clean home (and of course help with all the chores, no roster necessary!), and cook a few times a week when I'm not out. Would like to live in a non-smoking home, not a party home, but am happy to have a wine (or two!). Also love going to the gym/running, brunch, and any random fun activities I can get my hands on. Pretty new to all the different suburbs so not sure exactly what I'm looking for, so feel free to message me if you think I'd be a good fit! Something close to the city (I'll be working in Barangaroo) would be ideal. I also have a car that I would super love to be able to park off the street but either way, if there's street parking then I'll take that too.
I moved to sydney 6 months ago from Auckland, living in Balmain but want a change in a better house setup. Working for a tech company in sydney cbd, if I'm not working I'll be at the gym, out socialising or chilling at home. Want to live with people who have a good balance of both work and play. Also being new to the city means it's always good to meet new people.
Hey! I'm moving over from London for a 2 year secondment in Sydney. Love meeting new people, spending time with friends, cocktails, yoga and generally getting out and being active! Excited to make the most of the Australian sunshine (with a big supply of factor 50!)
Hi, I'm Chris, I run a telecommunications construction company which keeps me awfully busy on weekdays 7-7 at least (and 1 or more days in the weekends). When i'm not working i am either out with friends enjoying a drink or im on my Boat fishing, skiing or any other fun stuff a boat brings. I come with my best friend Phil- a West highland white terrier who is 18 months old, completely house trained and joins me at work everyday because, well, he thinks he is a human. He wont do tricks for teats but ofcourse expects the treat. My busy lifestyle encourages me to have a simple and low maintenance home life where i love a quiet drink in the evening, even more so if you do to!
My name is Tammy and I am looking for somewhere to call home in the Balmain area. I am a career focused individual who enjoys a social glass of wine over dinner. I am climbing the career ladder now and I give most of my focus to this aspect of my life. I also like to stay health and fit. I enjoy socialising and going to nice bars and restaurants. My goal is to eventually buy in Balmain but now I have settling to house sharing or renting a studio apartment. Why Balmain; Well I love the lifestyle it offers. With my favourite “charlottes café”, Ballast point park and gorgeous Sydney harbour and CBD skyline view, I cannot image choosing any other location home. As your house mate; Im clean, fun and social. I’d love to meet for a Friday night drink after work and even the odd night out on the town. I enjoy my own time too, so I may hide away in my room and read or watch Netflix but most often you’ll find me outside in a park on a picnic rug. I hope I get the chance to meet with you and to chat about your available room and even make a new friend in the area. Tammy

Hi there, My name is Natalie. I am looking to start fresh in a new part of Sydney after growing up initially in Mascot then moved to acres on the outskirts of Western Sydney. I have a 9.5 yr old daughter who stays with me every second weekend but isn't much trouble at all as she is extremely independent, social and kind. I am extremely career focused and I work long hours as a Facilities and Maintenance Mgr for a large company and would love to come home to a place that is inviting. I love cooking and a bit of a clean freak. I am a independent, witty and love a little banter when the time calls for it. I respect those around me and value personal space. I love entertaining but don't find I do it much at all these days as my weekends are usually kept busy out and about.

Hi, I am a full time working student. Together with my boyfriend we are looking for a place closer (<30min by public transport) to the city. We are active people, love to spend time outside, travel, do different kind of sports and simply hang out. We love doing BBQs and listening to music so it would be nice to live with someone who shares the same feelings. :) We are both working, reliable, not smoking and without pets. We would love to live in a neighborhood where it is nice to walk in the evening and with people who would like to have a common dinner from time to time. :)
Hi, I am working fulltime in the CBD and look for a place to stay relatively close. I love to travel everywhere and any time it is possible. Originally from Europe and moved to Perth 7 years ago. Recently relocated to Sydney. Love motors and anything IT related.
Glebe is a very cool suburb, lots to do in the area, extremely good location very close to Central Station (7-10min walk), nice parks near by, cool cafes/bars. The flat itself is quite new, very clean, room is decent size with double bed, desk and large wardrobe. The block we live in consists of 7 other flats, we've never had any issues with neighbors, everyone is very respectful. Its a very good standard flat, everything is on your doorstep.
I have 1 room to rent in my 2 bedroom home in Balmain, just steps from Darling street. The room is unfurnished but with large built in wardrobes. The house is a gorgeous terrace/semi with good sized living room and courtyard (perfect for barbecues and entertaining!). Kitchen and bathroom are brand new and well equipped. I have an sweet, old Labrador dog who is very chilled. If this sounds like it might suit you, contact me. Thanks.

I'm looking for a relaxed but clean and tidy house share, with someone friendly and considerate, who likes a chat and also values privacy. I'm working full time, like to relax or sometimes go away on weekends. Love the outdoors and other adventures, Like the home as a bit of a haven, not keen on TV on all day.
I'm a 31 year old guy originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland. I've lived in Sydney for just over 3 years and work full time in finance at Circular Quay, working usual office hours. I'm easy going and friendly.. During the week I like to hit the gym after work or chill out, enjoying cooking with a bottle of red or catching a movie. I enjoy a few beers at the weekend, going to the beach in summer or hiking/cycling in winter.
I'm a very considerate person, so I respect other people with high regard. Yet, I'm still someone who is always prepared for a great time, I love to hang out with others in my free time. I'm also happy to have anybody over for dinners, drinks, you name it! During the week, I am pretty busy with working in Crows Nest at Norths Basketball and studying law and commerce full time at Macquarie. Most days I'm out of the house in the morning and might not be back until later into the night. On holidays though, I do like to recharge and just relax at home. I have a girlfriend who would ideally be able to spend 1 - 2 nights with me as I would be doing the same with her. I'm happy with pets as I have grown up my whole life with them. I look forward to hearing from you.
I am 30 years old moving from Melbourne to Sydney. I just got a 6 month contract to work in the CBD. I work in financial services. I am clean, tidy, sociable and respectful. Hi there, I moved from London to Sydney because of a six month job offer in the TV industry. Originally from Italy, I'm clean, respectful and very easy to get along with. I'm looking for a room (ideally furnished) and nice housemates to live with. I'd love to find a place that I can call home rather than just a place where to sleep.

Hi future flatmates, Myself and my husband Jay are moving from London to Sydney and land on 1st June. We are looking for a flat share for the first 6 months whilst we get sorted and on our feet. We are both professionals, and will be job hunting when we arrive. I work in marketing and Jay works in IT. We LOVE the beach, keeping active/running/hiking/eating out and generally relaxing and making the most of the outdoors. We are both very tidy and clean, and will contribute to housework and chores. We are also very quiet and won't make any noise :). Jay is really techy and can pretty much fix anything that is broken! We are looking for a flat share because we want to get to know people and make friends! We are looking for a place that we can relax on the weekends whilst working full time during the week. We are not party/clubbing people but definitely like socialising with our flat mates and having the occasional gathering. Let us know if you think we'd be suited to your place :)
Hi there, I am 30, single and moving interstate from Melbourne due to a promotion at work. I am looking for an unfurnished room with access to my own bathroom (I'm not super perky in the morning so I like to take my time and ease into the day). I am friendly, funny and always up for a glass of wine and a chat, or a night out. That said, I have lived in share houses previously so I always try to be respectful of others space and property. I would prefer to live with others who are easy going, emotionally intelligent, (some what) financial responsible and clean/tidy within communal areas. I'm also really good at cooking spaghetti bologanise and willing share leftovers :) Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you.

I am very clean, social but enjoy my own space as well, love to go out, be active, explore the city and take in live music. I'm a second year film and advertising student at UTS. I'm from the Blue Mountains and I'm looking for a place closer to uni. I'm a pretty chilled person, who's not overly into partying - but I do like a social drink or two. I love film, TV, books and photography.
I am easygoing, neat and clean, quiet, pretty low key. I spend my weekends hiking usually or biking and like to do yoga. No fuss, no drama. I've travelled a lot and currently have a work contract in Sydney until June 9.
Hi there, I am looking for a room for a month in May. I am a housesitter but can't get a house sit for May. If you are going on hols and need someone to stay in your room and pay your rent then give me a shout. Thanks, Kirsten
Great cook, my work involves travelling away a lot, tidy.
I'm tidy, work a lot and play a lot of sport so you probably won't see a whole lot of me. I'm friendly and love going out for dinner and drinks. I work casually as a high school teacher and I'm from sydney's inner west.
Hi I’m Rhiannon, I’m a 27yr old professional currently working full time in jewellery buying. What makes me a great housemate, besides the fact that I can make a mean chicken fajita & I own a guacamole making device? I am tidy & I take pride in a clean home. I am friendly, easy to get along, considerate & don’t slam doors. I enjoy a good chat, a laugh and healthy dose of sarcasm. I have previously lived in Dulwich Hill, Leichhardt & most recently Russell Lea; I have really enjoyed living these areas and am happy to stay around here but at the same time am also open to a location change as I enjoy the North too. I have all my own bedroom furniture so an unfurnished room is highly preferable as well as bit and pieces to add to the household if wanted Any questions, just let me know :) My move date can be quite flexible so please ignore the above date
To whom it may concern, 21 years of age, working full time in CBD, have been commuting everyday for the last year or so and have decided it's time to move down closer to the city. Extremely easy to get along with, I guess you sort of have to possess that sort of charisma in order to move in with a stranger, clean, presentable and humorous. More than happy to grab a drink over dinner, enjoy a lovely conversation, all in all looking for a place to call home.
Hi, I'm Francesca and I'm 26 years old. I'll want to spend some months in Sydney, live and work there. I'll arrive the second weeks of May 2017. I'm a friendly person and I like clean.
I will be studying Paramedicine. I enjoy socialising and meeting new people as well as enjoying a balance of down time. Looking for a place ideally before uni starts which is the 27th of Feb however can be a little after that! :) -Kat
I'm Libby, I'm 25 and I'm currently studying post-grad psychology after having had a stint in marketing. I currently work 3 days at a psychology clinic. I really love to travel and try to get back to Europe once a year if I can, with a particular fondness for Scandinavia. I like to go to a gig or two occasionally but also have nights when I chill out at home with a glass of wine and Gilmore Girls. I'm pretty open-minded and respectful of others' privacy but ideally would love to be in a house which catches up occasionally for drinks or dinner.
43, female. I work full-time in the hospitality industry as a Restaurant Manager, I work long hours. Non-smoker. Parking spot is important for me. Clean and tidy person.
