Renting my room out to a nice, reliable housemate while I am away on an overseas trip for 2 months. The room will be furnished with a Bed, bookshelf, desk and chest of draws. All my belongings will be stored elsewhere. The property is in the leafy street of Byron road, has a big gumtree out the front and the back. The house is 30 meters away from a dangerously good bakery and good life gym to work off the baked goods. The house is filled with art and indoor plants which give it a lot of character.
Hello, I'm Katie! Currently studying primary teaching at uni and working part time in hospo and nannying :) I'm friendly, easy going, tidy and respectful. I keep shared spaces clean and of course always pitch in with house cleaning etc. I'm fine with clutter but not cool with living in a dirty home. I'm a social person and love having a laugh and would hope to become friends as well as housemates! I am quite busy and do appreciate my own space at times and will respect yours too of course. A lil more about me; I enjoy being creative, cooking (vego), being outdoors, love animals, veggie gardens, playing cards, going to gigs n having a few cheeky drinks :)
The house is fully furnished, clean, bright and in a great location. It has a newish kitchen and bathroom, and a great small backyard perfect for summer BBQs and growing veggies. It's near the tram, bus, and train (all modes of public transport!) and only 5 kms from the centre of town, walking distance to the Sunday Farmers' Market and to Goodwood Road. The room is big enough for a double bed, chest of drawers/bedside table and small desk. It has a built in wardrobe and is rented at $140 per week. The room can come with or without furniture.
Hiyya! I'm open minded, clean/hygenic, caring, pay bills on time (1st thing that should be paid), love a good laugh, am a singer and have geeky hobbies. I'm not a party gal and like to listen to music or read from home, have friends over (all of my friends are funny, safe, random peeps, most are musicians too :) ) Not too fussed with the genders, age, ethnicity of housemates, just no creeps, duh. I also do not have a car, so close proximity to train and bus stops is important! I'd particularly love to live around the Seaford train line :D I require house mates who are: respectful, egalitarian (or at least don't push their differing views on me), mature/mostly mature xD, good communicators, considerate, clean up after themselves, and aren't too loud. Extras: It'd be nice to become friends with housemates, maybe cook together, watch movies, share music tastes, from time to time - I love alone time though, so this isn't a need, but would be nice :) To support a positive living environment, friendliness and communication is necessary though :) Housing History: I've lived in shared private rental, in student accommodation buildings, with friends, and with family. Have met and been around diverse people from different cultures, backgrounds. I've been living with a 25yo male and 24 y.o. nb housemate since July 2018. Before that I lived in a large (8 story, 38 rooms/floor) student accom. 3 diff friends households at the end of high school until I got into a Music course last year. And ofc with family before that too. I've experienced controlling friendships and housemates, messy housemates, overcrowded housing (a friend who has 5 high functioning autistic siblings and parents :) I stayed with them for a month while house-hunting :) ), and with my family - the family structure house hold. I know what I like and don't like in a household and in people, so have good, real expectations for safety, living environment, and communication. I love cute things, and am semi into gardening, but I'm a bit clumsy and forgetful, so it's more of a 'when I'm not too busy' type hobby. This year, for at least the 1st study semester, I'll be studying a UniSA foundation course, since I studied more practical Music Industry (Performance - vocal) courses last year, and haven't written essays et cetera for over a year now......+ (rant: I hadn't finished paying off the certificate 4 which I was going to use to get into a uni psychology course......there's a student loan for that sort of thing that I didn't know about #regret....well.....now I know T-T ) I'm thinking of studying a Psychology/Behavioral Science bachelor degree at Adelaide Uni or Flinders, oooor an Arts degree (could study psych & Japanese @ Adelaide - I'm a bit of an otaku, so that sounds fun~) so will be looking for housing around there for mid year (looking for a 6 month lease. I prefer 6 months incase housemates end up being to loopy, not what they say they are etc) xD I love plants, animals & the environment too - I'm an avid recycler, so would prefer eco-concious housemates :) Message if you think I sound like a good fit for your household c: Toooodles~
Happy bubbly forever child. Clean. Like to cook. Love animals. But will (forcefully) live without them. Spend most of my time in my room when home. Love music. I prefer to listen to music with my headphones, so you won't hear it much. Non-smoker and would like to live with non-smokers. But, as long as you smoke outside, I don't really care. Would prefer to have an already furnished room, but it's not neccessary. Looking for somewhere within 10 minutes of the CBD, preferably not on the east side of town. I have recently moved down from the northern Flinders Ranges where I've lived, and worked in hospitality, for 2 years, to go back to school (hopefully with snackpacks!). I have a very small tank-dwelling pet. You'll never see or hear her and she can't possibly destroy anything. As long as your life doesn't impede on my life you can do you, whatever that may be :) I need to live with people who can communicate openly about any issues that may arise. I have lived with people previously who have been inconsiderate and who've had communication issues. I am the type of person who is open and honest. I would rather be a little upset in the short term than let things fester into arguments. Okay byyyyyyeeee!!

Hi, I'm Sarah :) I'm 24 and am currently looking for a place for myself and my dog Billy. I work full-time so on the weekends I like to chill out, maybe grab a coffee and do some cooking. Billy likes snacks and sleeping. Open to moving in to an existing home or teaming up to find a new one, preferably a female household. Send me a message if you would like to chat :)
Big, established share home in an awesome location! Our place has a huge open plan kitchen and living area which is great for chilling out and entertaining. All bedrooms are of a generous size and there's plenty of room for storage around the house. We have a big veranda in the backyard with a shade sail which is just lovely on a sunny day. If you're a student, or need to do work from home we have a large study which looks out onto the back garden. The central air con/heating is incredibly effective, although we have only had to use it a few times. We are in a prime location to catch public transport if you are working in the city. We are about three minutes walk from the Emerson railway station and 10 mins walk from the South Rd/Black Forest tram stop. If you have a car, we generally take turns in parking in the driveway but street parking is unlimited and there is very little traffic movement along our leafy little backstreet. **Sorry, no pets.
Hi, I'm a 37 year old professional from Adelaide. I work in Management...all pretty standard and boring really. I'm currently renting in a place on my own and whilst I love it I am looking to reduce costs, hence this ad :). I like all of the normal things: markets, catching up with friends, walks, dogs, food, drink, indoor plants. I'm a fair bit over the party scene but do love exploring new bars or eateries in Adelaide. I'm looking for a room in a sharehouse or someone cool to team up with. I'm the type of person who likes to love where I live and that includes the people I'm with as well as the aesthetics of the place. I'd love to become friends with those I live with and spend time chatting, eating, drinking etc. however still respect each others personal space. Ideally I'd love to have a big bright room to retreat to. I'm fairly neat and tidy and respectful of others and would like the same in return I do have two small dogs that I share custody with :) I usually have them on weekends but sometimes I have them full time for a few months so I'd need a place that can have dogs as well as a person who loves cuddly little floofers. Also I'm a non smoker and would prefer to live with other non smokers.
Hey Potential House mates, I am Arjun (AJ) and work with the Red cross. Been living in wonderful sharehouse in Parkside since December, the home owner has decided to sell the property hence looking for places to move to along the city fringes or CBD. I am clean and always pay the rent and bills on time can give you references if it helps. Looking to get a house with like minded people. Age, gender or orientation does not matter to me. I love traveling, binge watching TV series and cooking. Don't mind pets, Love dogs. Bit of a beach bum would love a place close to the beach if possible but not too fussy :) The doggo in my profile is not mine. Don't know what else to say on here as I don't want this to sound like a dating profile. :) Hope to hear from you soon. Arjun
I’m a 22 year old from South West England and currently just started my second year working tourist visa. I have a passion for travelling although now I’ve fallen in love with South Australia. I’m tidy and down to earth and love meeting new people! My work background is mainly in retail and hospitality, having been a retail manager back home in the UK. I love cooking, exploring and I’m a big film/comedy fan.
Hi I am a 24 year old female seeking accommodation. I’m currently studying youth work and also looking for work in the hospitality industry as that is where my experience is. I don’t have any pets, I’m a non smoker. I am an easy going person who is happy to spend time with my house mate but also will respect their space and personal life. I’m clean and tidy also. I spend my time with family, friends, at the beach, having a drink and watching Netflix of course! If this suits you and you have a place available, let me know! Thankyou!
Hey, I'm Darren, a 25 young professional from Melbourne. I work full-time but transitioning to new opportunities and starting new in Adelaide in mid-March. Being new to the city, I'd ideally like to live with people around a similar age that I can get along with :) I'm laid back and easy going. During the week I enjoy relaxing on the couch after work and keeping fit at the gym. Don't mind a drink here and there, going out with friends, beach, outdoors and weekend adventures are also good. Looking for a place close to the city. I have a car, as well as a small dog named Molly - but if I can't find a pet-friendly place, she can stay behind.
I’m easy-going person but not a party animal. I love reading, watching movies, having out friends all around things but I also need me time in the room.

The house (which is a stand alone house in a unit block) is super close to the city and not too far from the beach in a nice quiet area. There are bus stops near by, there is a tram stop 50m from the house and the train isn't too far away. The house is pretty big. Four bedrooms, kitchen/dining area, lounge area, laundry, shared bathroom with an outdoor toilet as well. We also have a little outdoor area with a table and chairs set up with a BBQ. The place has a dishwasher, washer and dryer and ducted reverse cycle aircon/heating in all rooms. Your room is the smallest of the house (and the cheapest). It is the only one without a built in wardrobe. All bills aren't included in the rent. The internet costs $17.50/month, water about $30 every 3 months and electricity about $180 each every 3 months. We're looking for someone (male or female) for a 6 month+ stay, preferably around the same age as us. Bond is $600. We also all part own the fridge, washing machine, dryer, TV and some furniture. Every time a housemate moves in, the new housemate needs to give the one moving out $120 for all of those things. So Bond + furniture = $720. We'll also need to get the new housemate on the lease.
This ground floor, 2 bedroom unit is within close proximity to the city, with the convenience of the City and Glenelg tram right in front. The 2nd bedroom is up for rent which is partly furnished with a single bed, built in wardrobe with mirrors and a large desk.It can easily fit a double/queen bed if you have one. Big windows that give plenty of natural lights. There is only one shared bathroom and a separate laundry off the kitchen that comes with washing machine and dryer. A large kitchen for those who loves to cook. Kitchen cutleries and utensils are provided as well as white goods. Small patio area off the lounge room and off street parking is available. A communal area to dry off your clothes just in front of the unit.
Hi my names Ash! I just moved back to Adelaide after spending the last 12+ months in Newcastle for work. I’m a friendly guy who enjoys socialising on weekends but also doesn’t mind just chilling out at home. I’ve lived in a number of share houses with males, females, students and professionals. So I understand respecting other people’s space and things and can keep things tidy. I’m flexible and easy going with everything so feel free to drop me a line.
Hi! My name is Katie and in 29 years old. I work full time just outside of the city and I am looking for a place to live not to far from. I am also looking for a place that considers pets. I consider myself a quite, friendly and non-judgemental person. I love being social and catching up with my friend for dinner, drinks, gigs or shows - whatever Adelaide has to offer! I also enjoy a good Netflix binge. As a flatmate, I am clean, respectful of others belonging and believe in open communication about any issues that may arise as things do. The type of flatmates I am looking for are also friendly and respectful. Although I might be a bit shy at first, I would love flatmates that I can have a chat with over a drink or watch a movie with, however, who would still respect my privacy and my 'me time' after a hard day at work when I need to just unwind in my room. Lastly, I have 2 adorbs pet rats names Amy and Willow (Buffy fans would get that :) ). I do understand that no everyone sees rats as cute and cuddly as I do. However, if you are worried about things like smell, let me assure you, rats are actually quite clean animals and as long as the cage clean, they don't smell. I will also keep them outside, except in times of extreme weather. I don't allow them to 'run around the house' as they can easily eat something they shouldn't. Please contact me should you have a property close to the city and feel I might be a good flatmate match for you :)
Just moved to Adelaide Working full time Looking for a social house but nothing to crazy Hiking camping fishing Keep relatively active Clean, respectful and easy going. Prefer the southern suburbs and with others of similar age Currently living in short term accomodation so moving in a month or two would work best
I'm Lauren, writer at heart but working in digital marketing by day. Love baking, reading, brunching and the occasional Friday night wine-down. Own my own unit but considering renting it out to save some dosh. I'm tidy, friendly and respectful, and looking at sharehouses with predominantly female members, no pets (or hypoallergenic ones) and a tidy home with good internet and a/c.
I’m a quiet and responsible person looking for a chilled place to call home. Currently working full time in admin and have occasional shifts as a personal care worker. Do not own pets, but love animals. In my spare time I like to listen to podcasts, relax with Netflix and learn how to brew the perfect cup of coffee.
I'm a quiet person that's easy to approach. I like being tidy and neat, and don't like asking for favours often. I'm studying forensic biology and chemistry at Flinders University Other than studies, I help run the university fencing club, learning Japanese, and I do a lot of craft I'm looking for a friendly home, that has a somewhat spacious, unfurnished room. Ideally I'm looking for a place between Bedford Park and the city.
I'm looking for a friendly and tidy place to call home a little closer to work! I'm often out on weeknights with friends, at Crossfit or volunteering, and enjoy chilling out at home when I get the chance. I moved to Adelaide early last year from Sydney, and I'm originally from country NSW. I'm hoping to find someone to team up with and my move date is flexible :)
friendly and easy going bloke with plenty of experience living with others as well as living alone. I am 36yo. One daughter, 17yo, not living with me. No pets. Most of my working i have been a drafter/designer and am currently seeking new employment. In the meantime i am having a go at being a salesman. highly unlikely to have any drama getting along :)
