I enjoy travelling, hiking, and road trips, and would love some housemates who are down for adventures! I am a student who will be beginning a degree in social work and psychological science at RMIT next year. I prefer to live in a reasonably clean house with no indoor smokers. Gay as heck, so house must be LGBT+ friendly.
Personally: Easygoing, friendly considerate guy, moving back to Melbourne permanently (to be closer to my intellectually disabled sister + launch my online business back in my hometown). Happen to be neat too 😀. Anything tech, talk to me. Gardens, talk to me. Galleries, talk to me. Food, talk to me. I have an adorable, friendly short-hair cat, who is clean + trained along with being no trouble (he is cheeky though). Business: Stellarpaths (a start-up). Founder and developer of an information, tools + services hub that benefits business, career + life through matching occupations, skills, business types, outcomes + more to suited solutions. Former corporate based Global Project Manager, Head Of Knowledge and Assistant Company Secretary. My work arrangements are flexible as I tend to work from co-working spaces, cafes and home.
Hi there! My name is Callie, and I am coming to Australia on a Work Holiday Visa from the United States! I have never been before, and I am very excited to explore the Melbourne area for a couple of months. I love coffee and beer and hanging out with friends. I am very social, but I also enjoy time on my own to decompress. I like to keep things clean, but I also certainly have moments when I wait a bit longer than usual to clean. I am 24, and graduated from University in 2016. I was a double major in Dance and Psychology. I'm still figuring out exactly what I would like to do with those, so I'm majorly looking for a job at a brewery or as a bartender while I visit. I'm so excited to move and make lots of new friends!
We are 3 girls that are looking to find another house after our current lease ends in March. We are currently living together in Box Hill area. All of us are employed full time, one of us owns a little lovable black lab puppy named Sascha. We are easy to talk to/get along with and we all pick up after ourselves and are clean/tidy people. Amy loves to garden, play violin and go out with friends. Emma is an artist as well as photographer and enjoys having a drink with friends and going out every now and then. Liz is a bit of a travel bug and is usually jet-setting off somewhere, she enjoys Netflix when she's not working or traveling the globe!
Hey guys in a 37 year old single male I work full time long hours so im really only around at night and some weekends. Im quite clean but do like to eat a meal and catch up with my rooms mates over a quiet beer from time to time. Im domesticated haha having been married for 13 years ( recently split) so house work is not a problem. I think im a pretty cruisey guy so if you want someone realible and trustworthy shoot me a message and we can have a chat.
Hi! My name is Shannon and I come with a 2 year old kelpie mix Koda, she's well trained, including toilet trained, and loves other dogs if you happen to have a furry friend. She does spend a lot of time inside where we are currently, she sleeps in my room and hangs out inside when I am at work, however I understand this may require some flexibility upon moving and that is totally fine. We have also lived with cats so she's pretty well adjusted to different things. Enough about my better half, a little about me. I work full time in administration, not the most challenging but it's stable and pays the bills! I've lived in share accommodation for around 5 years now in different situations so I understand cleaning up after yourself and being respectful of others. Ideally I would like to have some sort of friendship with the people I live with, whether it's sharing a meal or having a pint, watching the football or whatever, I just think it makes for a nicer dynamic. I'm not looking to move until Jan/Feb but I think it's worth having a look sooner rather than later as these things tend to sneak up and I would like to find the right fit rather than somewhere just for the hell of it. I'm pretty open so any questions just ask! Thanks :)
Hi, I'm 22 and studying at Monash to become a paramedic. I currently work at a pool and do some first aid training on the side. I enjoy hanging out with whoever is around but also happy to go solo and keep myself entertained. I like to keep myself up to date with the hottest things on Netflix, and love a beverage to finish the day. I try to keep myself active and get myself outside hitting up hikes and trying new activities out.
Hi, I'm 22 years old originally from Hong Kong, just graduated at Deakin Uni last year, have a little bit of experience living in a shared house as I have lived for 3 years at my current place. I work full time 5 days a week, and I have lived in Melbourne for 5 years so far. I'm friendly, tidy, sociable, organised and easy going. In my spare time I hang out with my friends, I like to go out for drinks or dinners. I like sports, so I play soccer. I also enjoy chilling at the beach, shopping, the occasional night out and relaxing nights cooking. I'm fine with either going for a private room or teaming up with any of you for a house, planning to move in from March to April for a long-term lease, I need garage or driveway for parking my car as I wouldnt park on street, also I have my own furniture for a bedroom so a furnished room wouldnt be preferred. Built-in wardrobe is preferred. Please do not call me, and shoot me a private message instead if interested :) Thanks, Alex
I'm a single woman in my mid 20's who's friendly, reliable, clean, tidy, independent, responsible, honest, mature, social, will treat any house like my own and a non-smoker. I pay bills and rent on time AND CAN AFFORD TO PAY FOR RENT AND BILLS LONG-TERM. Respectful of other people's privacy, space and property, I'm quiet and NOT A PARTY PERSON!! I'm currently unemployed but am actively looking for work and have a stable income. I also study full-time and volunteer as well. Looking for a place to call home with drama-free housemates. I'm also looking for a bungalow or granny flat, which is my preference but I'm happy as long as I have a room. PREFERRABLY BILLS AND INTERNET INCLUDED. In my spare time I like to go out and go to the beach, read books, watch movies, play on my devices and colour in my adult colouring book. I want to upgrade my Certificate 3 in Aged care and start a career in Aged care.
Hi there! I'm moving to the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne to commence my career as a Graduate Registered Nurse. I may or may not be undertaking an Honours program at Deakin University, Burwood as well. I'm a very friendly, kind and considerate person, I'm very quiet, and enjoy me time but I enjoy socialising as well. I'm very easy to get along with. I'm extremely clean and tidy, and I can cook the basics, I'm always wiling to put in my fair share for the upkeep of a home :) 'm looking at getting myself into a good fitness routine for my job and health and am not opposed to a work out partner :) I love spending time with friends and family, watching netflix, reading, shopping or eating out. I can cook very simple meals well and don't mind sharing :P I like to keep to myself but I also like to be social. I'm a very considerate and tolerant person. Feel free to contact me if you're wanting to team up and find a great little apartment :)
Hey all, my name is Dushan. A friendly guy from Sri Lanka. I'm following a postgrad in Swinburne and completed my first year just recently. I love doing outdoor activities, a huge sports fan, a big time comic book fan, loves gaming and working on my cookery skills these days. So anyways I'm looking for a friendly household with some cool people to hang out with. Cheers!
Hi all! I’m looking for a housemate to sublet a room in the unit I’m living in. The unit is 2 bedroom, a little bit bigger than a standard 2 bedroom unit, it has a big living room, a nice dining area and kitchen, a bathroom and separate toilet, and 2 small courtyards. The room you’d be in is a single room with a built in robe, unfurnished. The rest of the house is furnished, so you’re welcome to bring just yourself and a bed, or add to the furniture and appliances I already have. The rent is $150 p/w not including bills. There’s plenty of street parking, but there’s also a lock up garage you can park in if you’re willing to pay a bit more per week. It’s a short walk to Blackburn and Nunawading stations, a good supermarket and some lovely cafes. The bedrooms, bathroom and toilet don’t currently have locks, but the landlord would be happy for us to install them at our own cost if we want. I’m looking for someone who’s pretty quiet, neat and responsible, who can communicate well and share the housework. Ideally they would be female, but I’m open to living with a male if they’re a good fit and we get along well. In a perfect world, I’d also like someone who’s willing to do a trial period so that if it turns out to not be a good fit we can both walk away after a few weeks with no hard feelings. Minimum stay is 6 weeks, maximum 6 months but with the possibility of extending another 6 months. Must be ok with an elderly labradoodle spending the weekends
Hey there, I'm originally from WA, have been settled in Melbourne for several years and now looking for a new place to call home. I'm tidy, easygoing, respectful of others' space and privacy, enjoy a good chat. Currently working part time. Get in touch if you have a room on offer or would like to team up and find a place
A single bedroom with double bed in a very warm, cosy and lovely small unit. Well maintained property in an extremely clean and tidy condition. Suitable for someone need a quiet place to study or relax as housemates are not party, non-smoking and love cooking, baking. Only 5 minutes walk to Blackburn station
I'm quiet, intellectual (if that's your thing- we don't have to talk), and financially stable so I can get rent in on time. I am willing to do more than my share of the chores because I could use the experience.
Heya, I'm a 2nd year student at Deakin uni. Sri Lankan, raised and schooled in Kuwait. I am a quiet, clean and easy going person who keeps to himself. I love dogs, binging tv shows occasionally playing video games. Also flexible and open minded. Just looking for a cozy and quiet place with friendly and like-minded people.
I have just finished studying social work at university and I'm moving to Melbourne. I need a place to stay while I find a full-time job (with the possibility of then staying for a longer period of time). My pet dog (Maltese Shih Tzu) needs to be welcome too (preferably in a home that doesn't already have existing pets). I have lived independently for 3 1/2 years and I am a very tidy person. I am also very chill and fun to be around.
Hi guys! My name is Lara :) I'm a 21 year old uni student, currently studying a Bachelor of Arts (Film and Television) & hoping to apply for a Graduate Certificate in Marketing later this year! I'm a really keen musician- i love performing and going to gigs, I also love photography, campaigning, writing poetry, filmmaking, photography, blogging and checking out cool brunch places in the city. I'm looking to move into a new place at the end of January, preferably in the Eastern suburbs, close to public transport and a reasonable distance from Deakin University. I'm super laid back and looking for a place with chill vibes, I would love to move into a place where there's a good social atmosphere, but I also have my introverted ness tendencies too. I've had experience living in two share houses before in my undergrad, I'm reasonably clean, keep the house tidy and stay up to date on rent/bill payments. Please message me if you have a suitable place on offer or otherwise I'm totally keen on teaming up to start up a new share house too. I look forward to hearing from you soon! :) Lara
A little about me, I graduated high school in 2016 and am currently studying an Associate Degree Of Arts at Deakin University Burwood, majoring in Media and Public Relations. I also work at Zing Pop Culture which is basically any Star Wars, Harry Potter, Pokemon, DC/Marvel fans dream. Me myself, Marvel all the way. I love music, to the point where its over the top. I love concerts and going to live gigs. I love YouTube, in fact I even have a mediocre channel myself. Huge movie/tv show buff! As a roommate, I am tidy, fun, down-to-earth, kind, supportive, a great listener, a little introverted but extroverted when I want to be. I am a little shy at first, but once I get to know people I definitely am not shy. I accept boundaries and respect other peoples opinions, morals and values. I also do not judge and try to keep an open mind as much as is humanly possible in today's day and age! If you think I'm a great suit for your flat, place message me. I'm sure if text/call isn't enough, one of the thousands of social media platforms will suffice. I hope to hear from you soon!
this is a quite house, this room will suit students or working professionals all equiped house with laundry, fridge, microwave, storage. and a big back yard and front lawn. house is close to deakin, box hill institute, box hill central & 1 minute walk to laburnum station. all utility bills included in the rent. available now. call or text thanks.
I keep to myself, friendly and quiet. I clean up after myself and can cook. I work full time, been at my place of work for over 7 years. 40 years old, recently divorced. I host my own radio show on community radio, Apple 98.5 FM, located in Bacchus Marsh. Back in February 2017 I had major surgery to remove cancer from my body, with a temporary stoma put in while my rectal area repairs itself. In May I began aggressive chemo treatment for the second time, which completed in late September, and then I'll be having more surgery sometime in early 2018 to remove stoma and put everything back the way it was...minus a bit of bowel. The person(s) accepting me into their home (if that is the case) will need to be aware of my health issue and be understanding and ok with it. I am also a high functioning autistic, better known as Asperger's. Doesn't really mean anything, doesn't affect anything in any way, just best that I mention it. I'm currently living at both my father's house in the eastern suburbs and a share house in Darley (Bacchus Marsh). A transition period, where my father wants me closer to him while I go through the things I'm going through at the moment. However eventually I need to make a decision on where exactly I want to be living.
