So it's time for me to move closer to work, as my long commute to the office each weekday has finally got on my nerves. As an active person that enjoys exploring Victoria I'm often out and about hiking or biking on weekends, but when I'm home and have the time I like learning to cook new meals (vegetarian is a specialty), spending time relaxing out in the backyard, watching a bit of TV or surfing the web. Being an engineer my work hours are generally 8.30am - 6pm on weekdays and I usually play basketball at least one night a week. Would be great to have a couple shared interests with my potential housemate/s, so give us a heads up as to what you enjoy doing in your spare time if you are to message me. I come house trained, so that means I clean up after myself (and often others), make time each day to complete the necessary chores, pay my bills early or on time and am more than happy to socialise when the time is appropriate. Would like to find a place that could accommodate a future pet, preferably a canine, but I am willing to wait a while for that, if I can find a suitable home and housemate to live with. Hope to hear from you soon
Tidy, considerate, can adjust easily to new surroundings and I'm a social person that enjoys company and my own space. Own a gardening business and work long hours during the week, play cricket and footy on the weekends.
I work during nights, very quiet and working professional, mostly on job.. like to have beers with friends occasionally and love clean and tidy place to live..
Looking for a housemate, preferably female who is quiet & clean, cleans up after self, considerate & respectful of other's space & things. Living with 2 other females. We are both nurses. shift workers, working a rotating roster. Occasionally on nights, very considerate when getting up at odd times and aware the sucky schedule doesn't suit all. Location: Blackburn North. 165/ week. 1 month deposit ($715) Feel free to message. Thanks
Hi Everyone, My name is Andrew, I am living with my partner and two more flatmates in this brand new property just settled a year:) this is a modern designed split level townhouse, 50 meters away from cafe, bus stops, 10 minutes walking distance to local shops, gym, super market, shopping center and Blackburn train station; you will have you own private room with build in mirror wardrobe, queen size bed, desk and book shelf; your rent include free WiFi, and we will share power bills together
Hey so I've just rented a 2 bedroom ground floor apartment and am looking for someone to move in :) Rooms are equal size so i'm hoping to get someone to pay around half the rent. This would be $190 per week + bills or $200 including bills. Apartment is super close to Blackburn train station so convenient if you are working/studying on that trainline. Apartment has aircon, dishwasher and I have furnished living areas/kitchen. At the moment your bedroom has a massive cupboard with shelves and a desk+chair so all you would need is a bed (although extra stuff can be removed if you wish). The furnished bedroom is mine but I've included to give you an idea of size with a large queen bed. The wifi can't be connected until the 1st of November :( but from then will be unlimited. Also, I have not purchased a tv yet....don't worry this is a priority of mine so may have one by the time you move in! What else...oh there is a car space if you want it apparently (I don't have a car) and bike racks but not a lot of extra storage space if you require that.
The available bedroom has a rear sunroom/study and own bathroom with shower, toilet and laundry facilities. There is a back door entry close to this bedroom and another door separating this area for privacy. The whole rear area of this house is contained as if it is a suite by itself. I especially like this house because it is bright, homey and is very comfortable because of the evaporative cooling, ducted heating system, and rinnai instant hot water. It is freshly painted and offers wide slat floorboards throughout. Living rooms include gas log fire, gas stove, electric oven and dishwasher.
In terms of location, the apartment is a 3 minute walk away from Blackburn station and there is an IGA nearby for groceries. Also there are many cafes within walking distance. The apartment itself has air conditioning/heating in the main room. There is also an outside balcony. Included appliances are: Fridge, Oven, Stove, Dish Washer and Washing Machine. The room has a large built in wardrobe and window and is also located next to the main bathroom. The dimensions of the room from the wardrobe are 3.3m x 2.7m. The previous housemate has left their bed frame, mattress and bedside drawers. These can be removed if required. Also there is an underground parking space for the apartment which you can use as I don't have a car. The bills including internet are avg $125 per month each. Bond is $1,230. Rent pcm is $891.
This property is quite large, with lots of space. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a separate toilet downstairs. You would have your own bedroom (unfurnished) and share a bathroom with one of the housemates. The house is furnished however if you have some of your own furniture I would be happy to discuss that with you. You'll have your own car park that is on the property otherwise there is transport up the street. The 279 bus that goes to box hill. Rent is $150 a week and bond is a months rent $600. Feel free to message me with any questions or queries.

Hi, I'm 22 years old originally from Hong Kong, just graduated at Deakin Uni last year, have a little bit of experience living in a shared house as I have lived for 3 years at my current place. I work full time 5 days a week, and I have lived in Melbourne for 5 years so far. I'm friendly, tidy, sociable, organised and easy going. In my spare time I hang out with my friends, I like to go out for drinks or dinners. I like sports, so I play soccer. I also enjoy chilling at the beach, shopping, the occasional night out and relaxing nights cooking. I'm fine with either going for a private room or teaming up with any of you for a house, planning to move in from March to April for a long-term lease, I need garage or driveway for parking my car as I wouldnt park on street, also I have my own furniture for a bedroom so a furnished room wouldnt be preferred. Built-in wardrobe is preferred. Please do not call me, and shoot me a private message instead if interested :) Thanks, Alex
My name is Dominic Peck. I'm from Singapore and I work in audit in Melbourne and also am part of a private mentorship group that mentors people on how to build a business assets outside of their 9-5. I'm a neat, non-alcoholic and peaceful person. I'm a Christian, and I'm also looking for a roommate that upholds similar values as me. I'm in search of a cheap accommodation where I could just sleep and shower. I enjoy reading and just hanging out with friends. Please feel free to contact me if you have a room that is available.
Pretty ace housemate if I don't say so myself. I like to keep things clean and tidy, but am not a cleaning nazi. I'm very respectful, courteous and most importantly fun. I'm not moody, have no allergies, or things I can or cannot eat. I love to share the cooking, and the couch. I play lots of sport, including baseball on a regular basis (also a big NHL and AFL fan). In my spare time I like to catch up with mates, watch tv n movies, play games, and go on adventures. I work regular 9-5 hours in the city. Looking for long term place, with someone who is fun, friendly and respectful. Would like to be walking distance to train station (less than 20 min walk). 2-3 bedroom places preferred. I've got mostly bedroom stuff, but also a few kitchen things. Looking for a big bedroom.
Hi! :) My name is Viktor, 30 years old, I'm from Hungary. I'm going to study in Melbourne from January 2018. I'm a normal guy, easy going, non-smoking, do sports, and take care of tidy myself and my environment. I like to chill in the city in the evenings or just playing xbox mainly FiFA :). So I need a room which is furnished, and in good condition. I'm arrive in January 10th 2018. If you have a vacant room just send me message.
I'm previously from Singapore and spent the last 5 years in Melbourne, falling in love with the culture and its people. I'm really hygienic, organised and responsible. You can trust that I will keep the house clean and tidy for others' use, especially toilets, kitchens etc. Would definitely contribute to the running of the household and respect others' space. Loves to meet new people, have hearty conversations, travel, the outdoors and good music. Plays and watches soccer, follows tennis. Happy to whip up some recipes for the household and bonding activities when I'm not too busy. Just finished my tertiary studies at Monash and will be working full-time in the health sector.
I'm looking for a social, friendly and fun place to call home. I work full time in the CBD Monday to Friday so weeknights are generally very quite for me. I like to socialise with the people I am sharing a home with, whether it be the occasional home cooked meal or a glass of wine and cheese. I appreciate some quite time to myself too, either binge watching Netflix, playing music or at the gym. I like to keep the house tidy, although not obsessively so. As long as everyone mostly tidies up after themselves, I'm happy. I am very social and like to both have friends over occasionally and go out on weekends, but I respect the others in the home and never bring the party home. I am interested in a home that is respectful of everyone and judgement free. LGBT friendly is a must.
