The house is an old 3 bedroom brick house located in a quiet court, house is fully furnished and operational (except for the in question bedroom....but i can supply some furniture if needed) The room for lease is a large room- easily can accommadate a queen sized bed, desk, drawers etc, but has no built in cupboard. So it's time for me to move closer to work, as my long commute to the office each weekday has finally got on my nerves. As an active person that enjoys exploring Victoria I'm often out and about hiking or biking on weekends, but when I'm home and have the time I like learning to cook new meals (vegetarian is a specialty), spending time relaxing out in the backyard, watching a bit of TV or surfing the web. Being an engineer my work hours are generally 8.30am - 6pm on weekdays and I usually play basketball at least one night a week. Hi all! I’m looking for a housemate to sublet a room in the unit I’m living in. The unit is 2 bedroom, a little bit bigger than a standard 2 bedroom unit, it has a big living room, a nice dining area and kitchen, a bathroom and separate toilet, and 2 small courtyards. The room you’d be in is a single room with a built in robe, unfurnished. The rest of the house is furnished, so you’re welcome to bring just yourself and a bed, or add to the furniture and appliances I already have. The rent is $150 p/w not including bills. There’s plenty of street parking, but there’s also a lock up garage you can park in if you’re willing to pay a bit more per week. It’s a short walk to Blackburn and Nunawading stations, a good supermarket and some lovely cafes. The bedrooms, bathroom and toilet don’t currently have locks, but the landlord would be happy for us to install them at our own cost if we want. I’m looking for someone who’s pretty quiet, neat and responsible, who can communicate well and share the housework.
