Hi. Currently I am house sitting in Brunswick whilst friends go overseas and will need somewhere to live after they return, late September early October. I have lived for years in share house situations so am 'share house trained'. I am reliable and pretty quiet living. I love going to the movies, trivia nights board games, swing/latin dancing. Also I love animals and am pretty health conscious. I've been working in a public hospital for the past 18 years. My desire is to live by myself but am happy to share with 1 other female and would love my own bathroom. Even happier if you have a pet. I don't eat warm blooded animals but I do eat tuna and salmon on occasion and my preferred go to drop is a red! I have a partner of 15 years, who has his own house (too far from my work) whom would obviously be spending a weekend every now and again with me. I also spend weekends there too. Am happy to meet any time that is suitable for us both. Cheers. Suzanne
I am looking 1 more person to share a modern 3 bedroom unit with a double garage and courtyard garden. Bathroom shared between 2 bedrooms which both have built in robes. We're twins from the country looking to live in Melbourne for our university courses at Swinburne! I'm a second year student and Jac is in her first year. We love to read and (try to) cook up a storm - and chill out and watch Netflix with fabulous food. We like to keep to ourselves at times and respect others personal space - and we like to keep a fairly tidy home. In saying that however, we're more than happy to have a chat and relax with our future flatmates! Jac is a PT so if you're into fitness (aka being tormented) she'd be a great motivator. I'm unfortunately often subject to her machinations. We're not the partying type - and prefer the more quiet life to study and relax. We already have some furniture like a washing machine/fridge/microwave/kettle/toaster which we're happy to provide and share if teaming up. We're also both non-smokers. If you'd like to meet up for a coffee, throw us a text!
So it's time for me to move closer to work, as my long commute to the office each weekday has finally got on my nerves. As an active person that enjoys exploring Victoria I'm often out and about hiking or biking on weekends, but when I'm home and have the time I like learning to cook new meals (vegetarian is a specialty), spending time relaxing out in the backyard, watching a bit of TV or surfing the web. Being an engineer my work hours are generally 8.30am - 6pm on weekdays and I usually play basketball at least one night a week. Would be great to have a couple shared interests with my potential housemate/s, so give us a heads up as to what you enjoy doing in your spare time if you are to message me. I come house trained, so that means I clean up after myself (and often others), make time each day to complete the necessary chores, pay my bills early or on time and am more than happy to socialise when the time is appropriate. Would like to find a place that could accommodate a future pet, preferably a canine, but I am willing to wait a while for that, if I can find a suitable home and housemate to live with. Hope to hear from you soon
Tidy, considerate, can adjust easily to new surroundings and I'm a social person that enjoys company and my own space. Own a gardening business and work long hours during the week, play cricket and footy on the weekends.

Hi all! I’m looking for a housemate to sublet a room in the unit I’m living in. The unit is 2 bedroom, a little bit bigger than a standard 2 bedroom unit, it has a big living room, a nice dining area and kitchen, a bathroom and separate toilet, and 2 small courtyards. The room you’d be in is a single room with a built in robe, unfurnished. The rest of the house is furnished, so you’re welcome to bring just yourself and a bed, or add to the furniture and appliances I already have. The rent is $150 p/w not including bills. There’s plenty of street parking, but there’s also a lock up garage you can park in if you’re willing to pay a bit more per week. It’s a short walk to Blackburn and Nunawading stations, a good supermarket and some lovely cafes. The bedrooms, bathroom and toilet don’t currently have locks, but the landlord would be happy for us to install them at our own cost if we want. I’m looking for someone who’s pretty quiet, neat and responsible, who can communicate well and share the housework. Ideally they would be female, but I’m open to living with a male if they’re a good fit and we get along well. In a perfect world, I’d also like someone who’s willing to do a trial period so that if it turns out to not be a good fit we can both walk away after a few weeks with no hard feelings. Minimum stay is 6 weeks, maximum 6 months but with the possibility of extending another 6 months. Must be ok with an elderly labradoodle spending the weekends
In terms of location, the apartment is a 3 minute walk away from Blackburn station and there is an IGA nearby for groceries. Also there are many cafes within walking distance. The apartment itself has air conditioning in the main room. There is also an outside balcony. Included appliances are: Fridge, Oven, Stove, Dish Washer and Washing Machine. The room has a large built in wardrobe and window and also located next to the main bathroom. Also there is an underground parking space for the apartment which you can use as I don't have a car.
The apartment is on the south side of Blackburn Train Station and is within view from the balcony. Very easy walk to a lot of cafes and restaurants with Woolworths about 1km down the road and IGA just around the corner. Open plan apartment with 2 bedrooms and an open area with the kitchen at the front by the door and the lounge and TV at the other end. The TV has a large collection of TV Shows and Movies to watch and there is a PS3 with a fair few games to play. The lease ends in February and I do not think I will be renewing.
LOCATION – LOCATION – LOCATION – A Real “Must See”! EVERYTHING WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE - NO NEED TO DRIVE! 2 QUEEN SIZED ROOMS - $176 PW and $186 PW - Excluding Bills. 4 weeks rent as Bond required when moving in. I live in a beautiful, quiet, peaceful, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, and 2 toilet townhouse, in the beautiful, leafy suburb or Blackburn and I’m looking for 2 great housemates. Enjoy the beauty of the bush, with all the modern luxuries of the city: A 3 minute walk to Blackburn station and buses Trains run every 3 minutes from Blackburn station. 10 minutes to Swinburne University by train 20 minutes to the CBD by train Direct buses to Monash and Deakin Trains or buses to Box Hill Buses take you to Forest Hill Shopping Centre, the Glen Shopping Centre, other shopping complexes, plus most places in Melbourne, including Melbourne Airport. There’s an IGA supermarket nearby, with a large choice of cafes, restaurants, banks, post office, gyms, footy grounds and tennis court minutes away. The apartment has air conditioning in the living room, there’s ducted heating throughout the house and instantaneous gas hot water, there’s no chance of it running out. Both rooms are really big, bright and sunny, have queen sized beds, a bedside table, large built in wardrobe for extra storage. Both rooms have a large window, through which one can look on to a beautiful garden, which is home to a naughty possum, who thinks he's boss and owns the place! There's a separate bathroom and toilet, located outside both rooms, which is shared by only 2 people. There’s a stove, oven, pantry, fridge and washing machine, as well as crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils for your use. There's secure, off street parking available, so parking is definitely not a problem.

Hi, I'm 22 years old originally from Hong Kong, just graduated at Deakin Uni last year, have a little bit of experience living in a shared house as I have lived for 3 years at my current place. I work part time 5 days a week, and I have lived in Melbourne for 5 years so far. I'm friendly, tidy, sociable, organised and easy going. In my spare time I hang out with my friends, I like to go out for drinks or dinners. I like sports, so I play soccer. I also enjoy chilling at the beach, shopping, the occasional night out and relaxing nights cooking. I'm fine with either going for a private room or teaming up with any of you for a house, planning to move in from March to April for a long-term lease, I need garage or driveway for parking my car as I wouldnt park on street, also I have my own furniture for a bedroom so a furnished room wouldnt be preferred. Built-in wardrobe is preferred. Please shoot me a private message if interested :) Thanks, Alex
I am very clean,tidy...Friendly &easygoing, love to have a chat but also love to keep to myself... Work keeps me busy...I work fulltime in the CBD. Applied for work in Blackburn as well...Busy with 2 jobs...
I'm back to Melbourne after living in Perth for almost 3 years. I work full time, I'm friendly bit we should also give each other space. I am clean but not a perfectionist. Enjoy the odd wine or two. Just after an easy living arrangement.
I'm a Uni student at the moment and studying a double degree of education and arts! I'm half way through my second year at the moment and looking for a new place to stay. I'm a friendly, happy and active person who always likes to have fun and a laugh. I'm still relatively new to Melbourne having moved here from country SA
A bit about us BELINDA I work as a part time/casual travelling salesperson, I also do pet sitting. I come with a cat, indoor/outdoor, 100% litter trained, friendly and docile, and two little guinea pigs who are outdoor in the one cage, neither have to come with me if you don't want pets in the house, they do have somewhere they can go MATT Currently looking for full time work, but has a fortnightly payment so he can pay rent and bills. Smoker, smokes outdoors or off the property as respect to non smokers, also trying to quit. Ideally we'd like somewhere long term, but we can do short term. Our budget is $100-150 a week not including bills, or $150-200 a week including bills. That would be between the two of us, not each. We're quiet but like to be social too. Like having communal dinners and such, but respect peoples privacy and wishes. Neat and tidy, happy to help with household chores, inside and outside. Will come with all bedroom furniture (except a bed base so if a queen bed base is available we'd like to take it) and a couple of things for the kitchen too. If you have a room that you think would suit us then please let me know!
I am 25 years old female student from Indonesia with Chinese background. I have lived in Melbourne since 2009 (study and work full time), but decided to go back to Indonesia since October last year. Now I am back in Melbourne to study at Swinburne Uni and pursuing my dream as an Early Childhood educator. I'm clean, neat, tidy, and quiet person. Most of the time I'd like to keep myself in the room to catch on with books or series. But I don't mind hanging out to share meals or few drinks once I get to know you more. I do cook once in a while ( not too great but not too shabby either ). I like reading books, playing piano, and watching movies and series. I do like to travel at least once a year, as per say I do enjoy photography. Message me if you have any questions and a room to offer which is close to public transport and easy access to Swinburne Uni.
I am reliable, easy going and very tidy. Happy keeping to myself but do enjoy having a couple of drinks, sharing meals and having a good chin wag with my fellow housemates. Looking for a room for myself and my beautiful fluffy cat, Doagy. I am a vet nursing student so rest assured, I clean up after my cat and she won't be any bother. In my spare time I enjoy watching movies, cooking and going out to see live music. Not too fussy on location, would like to be based towards the city if possible. As long as I can drive to my jobs/school (located in Ringwood, Fairfield and Bayswater) within an hour then I'm happy. Wanting to move in about a months time (start of August). If you would like to know more about me or if you potentially have somewhere for me to live, please send me a message.
