About the room....... This bed room has a large built in wardrobe with enough shelves, draws and hanging space for anyone. The floor space (not including the wardrobe) for this room will easily accommodate a Queen size bed side tables and some other furniture. This room has no shared walls with other bedrooms and has a front facing outlook to a native plant front garden. About the house...... This is a nicely renovated 3 bedroom (plus office/storage room) home in Blackburn North. There are 2 heated, spacious and separate living areas that allow for plenty of quiet time if needed. The second living room has been used mostly by one of the house mates for study purposes. The main living area provides lovely views of the shady native back garden that makes you feel like you are living in the country. The main toilet is separate from the bathroom. The house also has a modern bathroom, with a bath, basin and glass shower that is only used by two of the tenants. The house has WiFi access, polished timber floorboards throughout and requires no furniture other than for the bedroom. The kitchen has all that you need to cook with. Located in a quiet friendly back street with very little traffic. There are two off street parking spaces and parking on the street is no problem either. The local shopping center is only a km away and has two supermarkets and a bunch of other little shops. Box Hill Central and Westfield Doncaster are just a short distance for lots of restaurants, shopping etc. If that isn't enough then the eastern freeway is just around the corner to get you into town in a matter of minutes. Public transport is just as close either by bus on the freeway or train from Blackburn or Box Hill. There are lots of park lands near by and a cycle path that heads to the city in one direction and Frankston in the other.
The house is an old 3 bedroom brick house located in a quiet court, house is fully furnished and operational (except for the in question bedroom....but i can supply some furniture if needed) The room for lease is a large room- easily can accommadate a queen sized bed, desk, drawers etc, but has no built in cupboard. We would share the toilet (off main bathroom) but you would have exclusive use of your own shower/bath. The house has a decent sized yard and huge garage and separate work-shed. Would suit a tradie , someone who works on cars , a guy with lots of tools or someone who has a lot of belongings they need to store....as there is a lot of storage space available. Could easily be adapted into a man-cave/ gym etc. Alternatively a student would find this a good fit with easy access to freeway, buses and close to Box Hill. Close Freeway access also means it is only a 20 min commute into the city for professionals Would prefer someone with fulltime job and able to committ to min 1 year
Hey guys! I'm a friendly, laid-back, outgoing personal who studies communications and PR, and works at an indoor trampoline park/nannies part time. Between uni and the two jobs I'm hardly ever home and when I am, I like to balance privacy with the occasional dinner/drink/catch up. I clean up after myself, am organised and respectful and love animals, so there's absolutely no issues if you have pets! Also a vegan, but don't mind if you cook or eat meat yourself!
I am friendly but independent. I have a cleaner who comes to my home once a fortnight and cleans all the common areas plus my room. I have lots of experience living in share-houses and know how to respect people's privacy while also being a friendly person to live with. I keep a clean home and do not engage in drunkenness or drug use. I like to have a friend or two over for a meal but I do not have big parties regularly. On some Winter Solstices, I have a mulled wine party, but this is only once every few years and it is a very civilised evening. In about 14 months I will be getting a fully trained assistance dog, it will have passed its public access exam and will be legally allowed everywhere.
We have a cottage-style home in Blackburn including myself (19), my brother and his partner 25/23 and our mumma. We are a relaxed household that's looking for someone who likes both company and privacy at times. We like to sit at the kitchen table over a wine every now and then, or light up the fire pit in the front bushy garden and kick back. I work as a Barista, my brother at a Wine bar and our mother works in disabled care. We have no tolerance for drugs or malicious behaviour. Our house is otherwise completely open and keen to meet anyone! If you want to drop in for a coffee, tea or nip of whiskey, flick me a text. Aljoscha Marcuzzi

Spacious, recently renovated house with great people and an amazing location! Right near the Eastern Freeway, Box Hill and Doncaster. Great spot for Deakin Uni! Quiet street, near an off-lead dog park and plenty of bike and walking tracks. Big backyard with trees, plenty of storage space in the garage and garden shed. The room has 2 large cupboards, and is a generous size. I currently have a desk, a queen bed and a bedside table and still have plenty of room. It also has a ceiling fan (and air conditioner in the house) which is handy coming up to summer. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me! **The lease ends in February with the possibility to extend, rent is approx. $765 per month, and bond is $1000. (Bond for the property is $3000, which makes $1000 and even split between all). I am looking for someone to move in near the end of August/start of September.

Hey guys! Currently putting the feelers out for a new place to live! I'm originally from country New South Wales, having moved to Melbourne in May 2016 to chase some bigger career opportunities. I currently work in the health industry and am thinking about going back to study, not entirely sure yet! I'm a very laid back guy, not much phases me. I enjoy the footy, adventuring and exploring my new surroundings, reading, the occasional netflix binge, gaming, gymming, and hitting the town for a drink or fourteen. My work schedule is Sunday to Thursday at this stage, just your standard 9 to 5 deal. Flick me a message if you would like to know more or to organise a catch up! Cheers! Ryan.

I am 20 years old and studying bachelor of commerce at Deakin university. Originally from India, living in Melbourne for last 1 year and working part-time at Melbourne Marriott Hotel. I am looking for some good accommodation
I am friendly and quiet to live with. I enjoy tv shows, movies, video games and board games. I am respectful to those around me and like to keep a clean home space. When I am not working I am spending time with friends, studying, or tending to my hobbies. I have one pet indoor cat I would bring with me.

Hi there! My lease is coming to an end and I'm looking for a relaxed new share-house to call home. I'm a pretty quiet person (and a bit shy) and keep to myself mostly, but I'm always friendly and polite. I'm considerate of other people's space and privacy and keep communal areas tidy. I love animals (but have no pets) and spending time outdoors. I spend most of my time out of the house catching up with friends. I work part time at a pizza shop and often bring home pizza to share with housemates :) I am reliable and responsible and always pay bills and rent on time. I'll pay the first month's rent up front as well as any bond needed and if the house needs a new fridge/washing machine/microwave etc I'm happy to contribute a new one to the house :) Hope to hear from you soon!
