The house is an old 3 bedroom brick house located in a quiet court, house is fully furnished and operational (except for the in question bedroom....but i can supply some furniture if needed) The room for lease is a large room- easily can accommadate a queen sized bed, desk, drawers etc, but has no built in cupboard. We would share the toilet (off main bathroom) but you would have exclusive use of your own shower/bath. The house has a decent sized yard and huge garage and separate work-shed. Would suit a tradie , someone who works on cars , a guy with lots of tools or someone who has a lot of belongings they need to store....as there is a lot of storage space available. Could easily be adapted into a man-cave/ gym etc. Alternatively a student would find this a good fit with easy access to freeway, buses and close to Box Hill. Close Freeway access also means it is only a 20 min commute into the city for professionals Would prefer someone with fulltime job and able to committ to min 1 year
So it's time for me to move closer to work, as my long commute to the office each weekday has finally got on my nerves. As an active person that enjoys exploring Victoria I'm often out and about hiking or biking on weekends, but when I'm home and have the time I like learning to cook new meals (vegetarian is a specialty), spending time relaxing out in the backyard, watching a bit of TV or surfing the web. Being an engineer my work hours are generally 8.30am - 6pm on weekdays and I usually play basketball at least one night a week. Would be great to have a couple shared interests with my potential housemate/s, so give us a heads up as to what you enjoy doing in your spare time if you are to message me. I come house trained, so that means I clean up after myself (and often others), make time each day to complete the necessary chores, pay my bills early or on time and am more than happy to socialise when the time is appropriate. Would like to find a place that could accommodate a future pet, preferably a canine, but I am willing to wait a while for that, if I can find a suitable home and housemate to live with. Hope to hear from you soon
Tidy, considerate, can adjust easily to new surroundings and I'm a social person that enjoys company and my own space. Own a gardening business and work long hours during the week, play cricket and footy on the weekends.
I am a professional working Nana who enjoys the quiet life, my hours are varied however I am out of the house by 7 am and return anywhere between 4-6 pm. I spend my leisure time travelling, reading, spending time with my grand kids, watching a movie, walking the dog or just chilling. I have a current wwcc and police clearance, I am reliable, very clean and respectful and expect the same in return. I have an outside dog that I cannot part with. My moving date is December at the earliest. Thank you.
Secure apartment block (keypass entry, with key to the apartment) Very close to Blackburn train station (5 min walk) Shopping nearby and Box Hill up the road. Great cafe's and restaurants up the street 2nd Level apartment gives great views towards the city from the balcony. New 12 month lease just signed in July
This is a new apartment, and very close to everything. It's 2 mins to the train station (express line to the city), surrounded by great restaurants and cafés. You will have your own bathroom and room, bills will be shared, and unlimited internet at $30 per month.
Brand new apartment, you will have your own room which connects to the balcony. You will also have your own bathroom. The apartment is 50 metres from Blackburn station and ideally located near shops and cafes. Your room is unfurnished however all shared appliances are included i.e. fridge, washing machine, TV, couches etc. Bills/internet/foxtel are additional and will be split.
Welcome to the nerd den. You're potentially going to share with myself and my awesome little Chinese Crested doggo, Bowie. (Only dog lovers need apply). My home is a two bedroom townhouse (one bedroom available). The bedroom is a medium size and comes with a queen sized bed. I can put it in storage if you have your own. There's also a little balcony and your own bathroom including bath, shower and toilet. I have two wardrobe A-frame racks available if you'd like and storage cubes. The kitchen is a good size and opens onto the lounge where lots of books and collectables are on display. It's great for entertaining. Large pantry, good bench space, dishwasher and brand new oven. (Electric oven and stove). I have a large comfy couch with two reclining chairs. The dining room has been converted into an art space/photo studio and is communal. There's room in there for bookshelves and storage. Laburnum train station is a ten minute walk and there's also buses right outside the door. Just down the road is what I call Junkfood Junction. There's all sorts of take away and stores there. We're near everything. **Rent and bills paid on time is paramount.** I'm not a neat freak but it's nice if you pick up after yourself and just keep the place clean and tidy. Smoking outside only. If you're not a dog person please don't apply because I need someone willing to give proper commands. It's very rewarding living with a fur-child but you need to be mindful. In return you'll get all the doggo love in the world. I'd like to share my home with someone (preferably) employed who doesn't come home strange hours in the mornings frequently. If you're studying but have not had any trouble paying rent and bills on time before, you may be considered. If you're a fellow geek or artist that's even better but it's not a requirement. I hope to hear from you soon ☺️
We love living in a pretty quiet street close to shops, public transport, a walk/bike track and much more. The house is quite spacious and we have been using the third bedroom as a study/storage room. Extras that are available for use include the dishwasher, washing machine, vacuum cleaner, steam mop and some space in the fridge! For $20 each a month we are signed up for unlimited wifi internet so that's great for all the other Netflix addicts. We would prefer a housemate who works full-time or part-time and has no problem paying bills on time.

Hi, I'm 22 years old originally from Hong Kong, just graduated at Deakin Uni last year, have a little bit of experience living in a shared house as I have lived for 3 years at my current place. I work full time 5 days a week, and I have lived in Melbourne for 5 years so far. I'm friendly, tidy, sociable, organised and easy going. In my spare time I hang out with my friends, I like to go out for drinks or dinners. I like sports, so I play soccer. I also enjoy chilling at the beach, shopping, the occasional night out and relaxing nights cooking. I'm fine with either going for a private room or teaming up with any of you for a house, planning to move in from March to April for a long-term lease, I need garage or driveway for parking my car as I wouldnt park on street, also I have my own furniture for a bedroom so a furnished room wouldnt be preferred. Built-in wardrobe is preferred. Please do not call me, and shoot me a private message instead if interested :) Thanks, Alex
My name is Dominic Peck. I'm from Singapore and I work in audit in Melbourne and also am part of a private mentorship group that mentors people on how to build a business assets outside of their 9-5. I'm a neat, non-alcoholic and peaceful person. I'm a Christian, and I'm also looking for a roommate that upholds similar values as me. I'm in search of a cheap accommodation where I could just sleep and shower. I enjoy reading and just hanging out with friends. Please feel free to contact me if you have a room that is available.
My name is Rachael and I'm 28. I have an angry looking cat; bitch face personified in cat form. She's well trained, and you will love her (and she will love you if you feed her chicken). She uses the human toilet so you'll have to be okay with that. I work full time as an assistant accountant in Knoxfield. I don't drive so I don't have a car and won't need a garage or parking, but means I'll need to be close to public transport. I'm a vegetarian and a non-smoker. I have a lot of my own new and newish furniture and homewares to contribute (currently live alone in a one bedroom apartment). I'm clean and tidy and all that jazz. Disclaimer: not an asshole housemate and I won't steal/use/break your stuff. I'm straight but LGBTI friendly :)
I'm previously from Singapore and spent the last 5 years in Melbourne, falling in love with the culture and its people. I'm really hygienic, organised and responsible. You can trust that I will keep the house (toilets esp) clean and tidy for others' use. Would definitely contribute to the running of the household and respect others' space. Loves to meet new people, explore places, the outdoors and music. Plays and watches soccer, follows tennis. Happy to whip up some recipes for the household and bonding activities when I'm not too busy. Working full-time in the health sector. Feel free to contact me!
Hey! I'm moving from Western Australia, where I grew up, to start a new full time job as a Signwriter. I'm a really positive person and I'm always up for a bit of fun. I'm very conscious of other people and always looking to keep the positive vibes. I like to cook and I clean up after myself too. I've got heaps of hobbies including longboard skateboarding, bodyboarding (in WA anyway), camping, mechanics, arts, music (lots of genres but lots of electronic lately) and heaps more. I'm very active generally but I do definitely enjoy my chill time too. Casual Sundays hanging out with mates are great. I'm pretty good at fixing things too! Hoping everything works out! Todd :)
Hi there! I'm Jubin, 25 years old, I have been in Australia for nearly 4 years now. I work in IT industry full time in City. I love chilling at home with a good movie or Tv series, a glass of wine or a beer, I like going out too and socializing whenever I'm not at work, or just staying in my room to have a bit of me-time :) wish to find a place I can call home, and housemates who become friends. I don't have any pets but no problem to live with one.
Hi there, I am a single kind, caring, generous, Christian lady who loves music. I am returning to study music at AIM in 2018 and working for Shebah :) I enjoy gardening. I am quiet but do enjoy having friends over sometimes :) I attend 2 churches which I really enjoy. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. Amanda
Pretty ace housemate if I don't say so myself. I like to keep things clean and tidy, but am not a cleaning nazi. I'm very respectful, courteous and most importantly fun. I'm not moody, have no allergies, or things I can or cannot eat. I love to share the cooking, and the couch. I play lots of sport, including baseball on a regular basis (also a big NHL and AFL fan). In my spare time I like to catch up with mates, watch tv n movies, play games, and go on adventures. I work regular 9-5 hours in the city. Looking for long term place, with someone who is fun, friendly and respectful. Would like to be walking distance to train station (less than 20 min walk). 2-3 bedroom places preferred. I've got mostly bedroom stuff, but also a few kitchen things. Looking for a big bedroom.
Hey there, my name is Brendan and I am currently looking for some sort of shared house. I am very easy laid back individual, who cleans up after himself and is quiet. I can be social but I also know when to respect a persons space and leave them be. I am currently working in sales but am hoping to move into real estate as I may have a new job lined up. In my spare time I enjoy binge watching netflix and playing guitar though I wouldn't say I am any good just yet. I am currently studying psych but have deferred for a year as I get myself sorted in life job/career wise. I am happy with pets and I love to cook. If you are looking for a laid back roomate who is easily to get along with and won't cause any trouble please feel free to contact me. I am needing to move out of my current accommodation by the 2/10/17. Thank you for your time.
