    Lachlan

    $200/week45 year old man

Hi there, my name is Lachlan. I am a forty-six year old male with a modest but steady and reliable income that ensures easy payment of rent and bills in my price range. I am currently looking for a quiet and friendly house to live in for the next twelve months but possibly longer if I find the right place. I will have lived in my current room for a year on October 1st. I am not particularly fussed about the ages of my other flatmates but am definitely looking for a mature, non-party house where people can relax together while working, studying, or looking for work. I enjoy being around interesting people with varying views on life but I would not fit in at a house with far-left or far-right political ideologies. This would include ones that support Russia in their attempted conquest of the brave and innocent Ukrainian people, or the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in their threats to takeover the beautiful country of Taiwan. I love being around pets, am happy to partake in all forms of organised housework and/or yard work, and would enjoy taking part in group life in general at the right kind of house. I am also not fussed about room size and can move in ASAP once accepted. Please feel free to message me at any time if you have further questions and would like to meet-up. I will chat with you here on the app' first, then we can exchange numbers and talk on the phone before meeting up. I look forward to hearing from you. Lachlan.

    Giorgia and Jean-Luc

$500/week28-29 year old woman and man

Hey everyone, we’re Giorgia and Jean-Luc; we're a couple looking for 1-2 flatmates to join us in renting a place in a suburb somewhere between Box Hill, Kew, and Templestowe. Hoping to find a place with two bedrooms for us, either teaming up with one to two others, or joining an existing share house. We’re both LGBTQI+ friendly, 420 friendly (all the friendlies), and we’re hoping to find a home that’s clean, respectful, and relaxed. We like socialising with our flatmates (sharing meals, chats, the occasional movie night, etc) but we’re not looking for a party house (parties are totally fine, but not every night!). We come with two lovely cats, Quinn (first cat photo) and Matilda (second cat photo); both are well-behaved, and Matilda is quite friendly, but Quinn is very shy. Keeping shared spaces tidy and comfortable is important to us, and we value open communication and mutual respect in a household. Giorgia: I work in the mental health sector as a Psychosocial Recovery Coach, and I’m heading back to uni soon to complete my Master of Professional Psychology. I’m friendly, easy-going, and I really value a relaxed and respectful environment at home. I used to be a horse rider, and outside of work I enjoy art, music, travel, spending time with friends, physical activity, beach days, and watching movies or TV shows. I like a good balance between socialising and having my own downtime, and I’m always up for a chat or a shared meal when the vibe’s right. Jean-Luc: I currently work in IT for primary schools; I'm onsite most days but generally WFH on Mondays. I occasionally spend my free time dabbling in music (guitar, bass, piano, vocals). I’m into video games and very much enjoy watching movies and TV shows. I also host a media server, so if there’s something you want to watch, I can get it for you. We're looking to find a place before Giorgia starts uni next year, so ideally we'll get a place sometime between January and March 2026. If this all sounds like a good fit for you, please send us a message!
