$250/week•26 year old woman
Hey there!
I’m a 26-year-old who’s just back in the single life after 5 years and searching for a place to call home. I’m happy to move really to any area that isn’t too far from public transport. Right now, I’m in a bit of a tricky spot—post-surgery on my ankle, unable to walk, and currently (semi) unemployed due to the nature of my injury, but staying positive and hoping to be back full-time with my dental assistant job once I’m healed up, otherwise have been looking for something that may be able to afford me more money in the meantime. I’m also seeking government support for the moment, but my goal is to transition to a work-from-home job which I’ve had a few interviews for in the last week, ideally moving to a hybrid role once I’m fully on my feet (literally!). Length of stay and move in date are absolutely negotiable as long as it’s after likely mid to late December.
I come with a plus one—my incredibly well-behaved, docile, professionally trained and socialised 5-year-old dog. He’s my rock and emotional support, and he’s just the sweetest guy you’ll ever meet. He loves other dogs, people, kids—everyone, really—and is genuinely easy to have around.
Personality-wise, I always pay rent on time, I’m easygoing, clean, and respectful of other people’s space. I’m not a huge partier or drinker though I’m always keen for a good time. I love animals and in my free time I work freelance going to other peoples homes to look after their pets, I’m a bit of a nerd, gym rat (hopefully transitioning into an MMA expert when I can,) photographer who loves to take photos of anything and anyone, I love to cook for others, and I'm always looking for a new adventure. I’m flexible and happy to keep to myself, but I’m also down for socializing, sharing a laugh, and cooking a good meal to share. I genuinely consider myself a great roommate who’s open to conversation and compromise. Looking forward to meeting you and seeing if we’d be a good fit!
At the moment $250 or less is looking like it’ll be my weekly budget, but I’m hoping that will be open to change as I’m able to find a more concrete job opportunity once I can walk again (hopefully within the next month.)
I’ll be looking to move hopefully around early-mid January, and am happy to take up even just a temporary space if that’s available.
