Hey, my name is Rhiannon and I am 20 years old. I currently work in hospitality so I have pretty random hours. I'm looking for a place that doesn't mind introverts but also likes being social every now and then. I have 2 cats that I need to bring with me so that's a must.
Hey! I'm currently looking for a room, I do have a dog though I am looking for a few other people around my age or situation for a bit more independence A little about me: I'm in my second year of medical science so that's my life atm (besides looking for work) I do like to bake (pretty good if I do say so myself), I'm a foody but I don't really drink, also love board games. I usually keep to myself, but I think that's with any 2+ strangers meeting for the first time, and will open up over (a short period of) time.
Hey guys! My name is Ellie and I have lived out of home for the past 3 years. I am working part time in healthcare and studying nursing part time at Flinders. I am tidy, respectful, and easy to get along with. I love a good chat but appreciate the value of time alone too. As a bonus I come with a super cute kitty who is good value, even when she's sleeping too often, and who loves to keep you company. Please send me a message if you think I might be a good fit for you 😊
Hello, world! My name is Patrick. I’m originally from Fremantle in W.A. I’ve spent the last three years travelling/playing in a band but decided last year to come back to Australia for a while to study cognitive science at Flinders university. Here’s a few facts about me; I work part time as a music teacher, teaching guitar percussion and music production. I love the outdoors and exercising. I love fruit and vegetables,(seriously, how amazing are fruit and veggies?) I love animals. I love philosophy and science, listening to podcasts and reading books. I love making new friends and meeting new people! I sometimes take spontaneous road trips to random remote places in Australia to see the stars and breathe the air. I’m hoping to find a place between Henley and Glenelg as I teach most of my students in that area and I love running beside that stretch of beach! And that sunset! So good, I’m an easy person to live with, friendly and helpful, it’s how my mamma raised me! I’m not a messy person, I always clean up after myself, but I’m also not obsessively clean. I’ll always pay rent on time and more than happy to help with any house work that might need doing. I really enjoy making friends but am also happy spending time by myself and have respect for people’s personal space. So, if you think we could be roommates, don’t be shy, hit me up! Look forward to hearing from you! Patrick.
Hi, my name is Jenna! I am 21 years old and am currently working and studying part time. I am looking for a room in a share house with some likeminded girls. I have a small cat, Charlie, who is very clean and mainly stays outside. I love a good chat but also like alone time. Feel free to send me a message to get to know me more.
I'm Ben, basically I'm a computer science student at Flinders uni and basically that says it all. Im a nerd that plays video games and dungeons and dragons but also a mild car enthusiast. I would like some off street parking if possible and I would be willing to pay some extra for that. I love pets and having them around but I dont have any of my own for now. Im a non smoker and I have all furniture I need if required. I can offer you a ps4, a ps2, and a switch for communal use, dont have many games but they're good for netflix too. Speaking of I can also offer access to netflix, stan and amazon prime video. Looking for anywhere north of McLaren Vale and south of the CBD pretty much.
Note: all rooms currently being used by guests. Next room available may be in June. A large newly built house in the Adelaide hills, just 1 mins walk to the train which takes you straight into the city. Our street and neighborhood are beautiful and quiet, yet it's only 8km to the city line of site, or 11km by road. There's koalas, kookaburras, and heaps of wildlife in our back yard. For even more, the Belair National Park is just 800m away. Europeans accustomed to lots of smaller cities spaced closely together might feel 8 -11km from the CBD is a long way, but in a country with its 5 capital cities 700-2500 km apart, Blackwood is genuinely very close to the Adelaide city center. The largest shopping center in South Australia is even closer at 7km away, with 3 of the 4 big grocery brands all in the main street of Blackwood. The community feel here is great and our area is very safe. Our neighbors even orgainsed a street party to welcome us to the street when we first built the house! For students, Flinders Uni is close by (public transport is a short 2 step trip), although with a direct train into the city, Adelaide Uni and Uni SA are a little further away, but technically a bit easier. The house has a wood fire for winter, but also a ducted reverse cycle air-conditioner, state of the art Clipsal C-Bus lighting system, the fastest unlimited 100Mb/s broadband connection available here, Netflix, Google Play Music, BBQ, and more. We're still finishing the last few things inside the house (2nd version of the kitchen is still to come), but are mostly working on the gardens and outside of the house at the moment. We're hoping to set up the lawns, outdoor cinema and deck throughout this year :) The Bedrooms: A) the smaller bedroom has a single bed, desk, and drawers B) the first larger bedroom has a queen bed, desk, built in robes, full length mirror, TV with Netflix and sunset views through the lush trees. C) the second larger bedroom has been taken * All rooms include bills Shared spaces: - We have our own en-suite, so the downstairs bathroom is only shared by the 3 guests and any visitors - our house is quite large, so we’ve quite comfortably had 3 guests living here for the past 4 months without any issues. Even when we’re all cooking at the same time in the huge kitchen. - car parking. There are 2 guest parking spaces that are off the road, and even more on the road. Room availability: Smaller single bed room taken until at least June 2019 Large room (A) available February 2019 Large room (B) taken until further notice
Hey. I'm just looking for a place to live anywhere around Adelaide is fine! Also looking for a housemate to share the rent n hang out with occasionally as I get bored living by myself.
Hello, need a place in Adelaide for the next 3-6 months. I'm very quiet and down to earth. I still enjoy a good yarn if the subject is right, but most of the time I very much keep to myself. I'm not too fussed about a bit of mess but cannot stand food scraps or dishes around the place. Love cult films, music of almost any kind and wouldn't turn away a cheeky red. I'm equal parts outdoors person and indoors, and I absolutely love animals of all kinds. Available to move from the 23rd of January.
We are a local couple who love the outdoors. We are both vegetarian and try to live as sustainably as possible, including commuting by bike wherever possible! We also ride bikes for fun, enjoy hiking, snorkeling and camping. We are tidy and quiet, don't stay up late but often get up early (particularly Fiona). We are looking for like minded people to share a house with to save on rent, preferably in a house with a backyard to hang out in the warmer months. Not party people but do enjoy having friends over for a meal every now and again if that's cool with you. Fiona is working in vegetation management and gardening and has a small indoor plant collection. She enjoys tending a veggie garden and spending lots of time in the ocean. Sam is currently studying for his Master of Architecture and works as a bike mechanic. When not at uni or working he enjoys getting outdoors and pursuing other creative interests.
I’m looking to settle down for a while after a couple of years of travelling. All about a good work to life balance. Love getting out for a hit of tennis, throw of a frisbee or a kick. Enjoy spending time in the kitchen & having a beer or two at the end of the day. Not looking for much, just a simple room, a decent communal area and some good housemates to share it with
Hey, I’m an 18 year old girl looking for a room close to Flinders University as I will be studying a Bachelor of Nursing this year. I’m very friendly and always down for a laugh but I am sensible when it comes to my studies and being able to successfully complete them.
Hello, I am currently studying towards a diploma in childcare and am working part time as a childcare worker. On the side I sell art designs online to be printed on clothing and mugs etc. and have a few side projects like comic strips etc. which I am currently working on. I need a place closer to Blackwood as I am currently too far away for the distance to get to and from work not to be a hassle. I am looking for a place where I can have my own space for study and hobby time but still socialize when flatmates are keen to hang out or just talk a little while cooking etc. I have always been a clean and respectful flatmate wherever I live and give others the privacy and respect that they deserve.
Blackwood is an amazing area! It has so many great cafes and a beautiful feeling of tranquility whilst still being so close to the city. Our home is about a 5 minute walk to the train station making it super easy to get into the city. We're also a one minute walk from the main street in Blackwood so it's very close to all shops and amenities. Our house is a beautiful cottage with plenty of space and two main yards. Garden lovers are in for a treat, (although it’s not at it’s best in summer.)
Hi I’m jessica. Currently working as a waitress but will be moving to Adelaide for something different I also have a boyfriend that is doing uni in Adelaide but we are not living together. Looking to work in retail. From a small town in South Australia, easy going, like a laugh, pretty quiet person usually until you get to know me. Give me a message
I am commencing my Speech Pathology masters degree in March 2019 and am looking to move closer to Flinders Uni. I am happy to make friends and hang out with housemates but I also know how to respect boundaries and space. I am experienced with living with others (apart from family), clean and adaptable. I have a cute dog! Bonus: can cook and love cooking for the house if they want it!
I'm currently working inner city, at The University of Adelaide as a Student Adviser. I have just recently completed my studies in Architecture and Landscape Architecture, and have a keen interest in design and gardening. For fun, I like to spend time with boyfriend, friends and family. I have a sincere love for art and music, and in my down time enjoy listening to tunes with putting paint to canvas. I am an also an animal lover, and have always lived with a family dog, and in recent years- added two sweet cats to the mix.
Hi guys! I work full time as an event manager and am usually working different days each week depending on when i have events on. Love the gym, sport & love having a beer on the weekends!
Hi, I'm Rochelle. I am a special needs teacher, starting a post-grad in Speech Path this year at Flinders. I'm relocating from Darwin, so I'm hoping to find a friendly bunch to live with. I am social although I will be spending most days at uni or on placement. I teach English online to pay the bills so I'll spend a bit of time in my room. I'm tidy and respectful of others.
The house is in a great position within walking distance to Belair National Park main entrance and easy access to public transport to the city and to Flinders university and marion shopping centre. There is split systems throughout house and home is double brick and stays cool in the summer.
Located close to the beautiful Belair National Park often roaming with koalas and kangaroos. Stroll to the cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops of vibrant Blackwood or jump on the bus (in front of property) for quick, convenient access to Flinders university campus or catch a train (3 minutes away) to the Adelaide CBD. This clean house is fully furnished with large living area, kitchen and two bathrooms. 2 newly renovated rooms for rent. The rent of $145 per week including water bill, electricity bill, gas bill , internet and use of all facilities ,oven, microwave, kitchen facilities, heater/air-conditioner new washing machine ,dryer and freezer. Enjoy waking up to having 5 acres at your finger tips. 2 living rooms, a sun room and a dam located in the paddock. Your room is on the larger scale and has built in robes, new carpet and recently painted walls. -Internet is included in the price of the room
2 Rooms available. House is big with lounge-room, outdoor BBQ area, offstreet parking and kitchen/dining area. Sharing with students from Flinders Uni which is 5 min bus/drive or 25 min walk. In between the suburbs of Blackwood and Bedford Park. All amenities/NBN included, queen or double beds, desks and all other furniture included if required. Flexible lease options.
Our sunny home sits in the leafy suburb of Eden Hills. Our 6 bedroom home features a bright, light filled shared living and dining area which opens onto the lush garden which is cared for as part of the rent. Nestled in the garden is an outside entertaining area which is roofed for year round use, and a pool which is lagoon like in design and absolutely magical on those sunny days of summer. The kitchen is modern and roomy, boasting a dishwasher, ample storage space and lots of bench tops. There is only one bathroom but it has double basins and a large combined shower/bath. The toilet is seperate to the bathroom. Although we only have the one toilet and one shower we've never had any issues as we're all on slightly different time schedules and keep the space clean and tidy. With a bit of communication we ensure everyone gets the time they need. Each of the three main bedrooms has a second smaller room allocated into its rent. Your spacious double room has large windows with a beautiful view of the garden. The natural light pours in, but also can be blocked out with the black out curtains. The built in cupboards have plenty of space for your belongings and the air con keeps you cool in the summer months. Your second smaller room is across the hallway from your bedroom and you are free to do as you wish with this space. Previous housemates have used this space as a yoga room, a study, a lounge with TV and most recently it was used as a music room. There is also an air con in this room. Your spaces are currently not furnished but we can happily negotiate some furniture for you and fit it out if you need. We equally share the bills between us.
Hi potential housemates! I am a student coming down to Adelaide from Brisbane, completing an Honours year at Flinders University on bee genetics. I should arrive on the 1st or 2nd of February and be around Adelaide at least until November. I am a very friendly and easy going person, and I am also very respectful, clean and responsible. I am more than happy to contribute to household chores and cleaning and I am always sure to clean up my dishes and not let them accumulate which I have been found to be a problem with many housemates. When I am home I will be pretty relaxed and working on my computer or listening to music (headphones). I will also be playing D&D twice a week with some friends via skype or discord, so I would be talking or laughing intermittently for 3-4 hours although this wouldn't be very loud, especially if rooms are relatively soundproof. I am usually always up for a friendly chat, drink or restaurant visit and would also love to chill out and watch a movie or tv show, or play cards or boardgames with fellow housemates if they are up for it. I am not much of a party person, at least as far as not hosting a rowdy event at the house hahah. My cooking skills are rather rudimentary, but I am keen to develop them and happy to learn or help with a combined meal. I also love animals and would love to live with a pet although that is not essential. Some specific details about what I am looking for are: - Furnished please, although I am flexible. Coming from Brisbane I am only really bringing clothes, some books and basic camping gear - Good internet, preferably unlimited - Close to Flinders University (~20mins drive or so) and relatively close to the city Thanks for your time and all the best, Matt :)
Sound and Lighting technician moving to Adelaide for new job. I write and perform music as well when i can. I have just spent the last two years living and working overseas so i am excited to start something new back in a new State. I was born and raised inland of Byron Bay, love my nature, trekking, sport and a cold beer after work with some mates.
For work I do freelance filming and editing which is a lot of fun and keeps me very busy. I'm very flexible with requirements, ideally looking to move in with two other people (around my age) in a suburb not too far from the city or near Brighton. I enjoy my space but would love to move in with people I can also get along with well and have drinks etc. etc. Looking to move asap, turn 19 in April :)
Hi, I'm looking for a place to move into sometime before the 27th of feb. I'm currently studying visual art at uni, so love a good art or music sesh, and I'm also working at a cafe in the city. I love animals, so I'm happy to move somewhere with pets! I am easy going and always down for a chat, but clean and respectful of everyone's space!
I'm 19 and soon to be uni student, I'm tidy, responsible, quiet and easy to get along with. I have a 6 month old female cat so I'm looking for a place that will allow pets. I also am only comfortable with living with other females. I don't mind where I live as long as it's not too far from the city.
Currently working part time as a construction labourer with most of my work based around the southern suburbs. Renting a house in Reynella but need to move out around the end of Feb. Enjoy spending my time outdoors, a lot of the time fishing and camping on weekends. Swim laps at the aquatic centre 2-3 times a week. Like to cook fresh seafood and have the occasional drink. Looking for a place to stay before I start uni mid year and buy a place in Adelaide.
I am light-hearted, cheerful and social person who values good company and indulging in new experiences. I am a full-time student at Flinders who's tryna reach that 5.8GPA this year whilst having a good time. On the side I like to fill my time with keeping fit, spending time with family and friends, attending social events, and embracing art & music. I respect other people and appreciate cleanliness and open communication. I would love to be in share house where other tenants are easy going and value a social space but also know when to respect boundaries and privacy. I'm all about balance...or at least I try to be!
I have a cat named George who I've recently adopted, he likes to meow a bit but he is very friendly. I'm 25 years old, having just completed a Bachelors at UniSA, and am now working full time in the city, I enjoy playing PC games and cricket on the weekends. I'm usually fairly quiet and don't plan on having people over as most of my friends live north of the city anyway, so I'll go to them.
