My hobbies and interests include playing the piano, drawing, and I am passionate about hiking so will spend a lot of weekends away during the cooler months of the year.

I'll start with the difficulties first I need room for a car and 2 motor bikes. I have a digital piano. I'd prefer to find a place with a shed I can use for keeping my vehicles undercover. I have a stable full time job in Urrbrae. So the the plan is to find a place and stay for the foreseeable future. I'm clean and tidy, independant but happy to share the workload of running a place this includes sharing the cooking and shopping. I tend to make lots of meals at once and put them in the freezer. I'm quite social. I spend a lot of time out and about or at work. I love hiking or walks in general. I want to be friends with my housemates and would prefer similar age range; give or take 3 years. I do not have a deadline to move but keen to move asap.
I'm a very quiet tenant who is full-time employed at an engineering company and I'm involved in a number of community organisations. I'm very socially engaged and have a very wide and extensive group of friends that I visit however rarely have over. I like watching old movies, listening to old music, and reading old books (there's a pattern there) but I'm very interested in new things and look forward rather than backward. I'm open minded on social issues and enjoy a good belly laugh. I try and keep myself in good condition though I am susceptible to a nice shiraz. A great day for me is breakfast at a nice cafe and a walk or swim at the beach. My life is an open book so if you'd like to know something then just ask me. Easy going ex-chef who loves exercise, good healthy (mostly) vegetarian food and a house sharing situation that feels like a home. Having just returned to Ads after working and holidaying overseas, I am studying Masters of Public Health at Flinders and work from time to time consulting to Universities. I love to surf - hence my desire to live down Port Noarlunga way however also grew up in the Hyde Park/ Colonel Light Gardens areas so would like to live there also. If you have animals, it's a bonus as i love them and would happily share the load in terms of looking after them. Oh and also i have my own furniture so a place that can fit furniture would be great, or a place to store furniture if not needed in the house and I would prefer an unfurnished bedroom.

I am a cat lover, but my cat lives with my parents, and will not be joining us in Adelaide. As such, I am delighted to lavish love and attention on a housemate's cat,should they have one. We have a beautiful large home in a gorgeous setting with a large deck and pool. There is a pub, 2 coffee shops and Blackwood within a 20 Min walk including the train to the city. One good sized single bedroom is available with the option to have your own lounge for $25 extra per week. Although we are listed as Homestay we envisage you would buy your own food and cook for yourself but of course it would be great to share meals and chill together sometimes. Great brand new and very large home with two immaculate modern bedrooms available to rent. Each room has a large built in wardrobe, desk, bed and your door is fitted with a keyed lock. We are looking for two flatmates to join us, making a total of five people living in the house. You would be sharing your bathroom (separate shower and toilet) with three other people. The house has a spacious lounge room adjoining the open plan kitchen, which is complete with brand new appliances, including a dishwasher. The house also has a second separate lounge area so there’s plenty of space to spread out. We are very near Flinders University and the Flinders Hospital. It is a 15 minute walk downhill to Flinders Uni on a beautiful popular walking trail with stunning views of the coast and the city (and maybe a koala), what better way to start your day. To get home it's a simple and short bus ride up the hill, or else walk it for fitness. If you work in the city, then Eden Hills railway station is only a short drive from the house, and the rail service is excellent. Unlimited wireless wi-fi is included. Bellevue Heights is a safe, leafy and quiet suburb, 11 km south of the center of the city. It is near the Blackwood shopping precinct, and also pretty close to the very large Marion shopping center complex. If you like bush walking then there is a large conservation park nearby. If you are worried about bills the homeowner pays the utility supply charges, and council rates. You only have to contribute approximately $15 per week, which is the estimated usage charges for gas, electricity and water. To keep the electricity cost this low we don’t run the air conditioner unless everyone in the house agrees.
"Your" bedroom has a beautiful view of the city lights and is a great size. It’s a spacious 3.4 metres wide by 4.2 long, so it will easily fit a king or queen size bed etc. It has polished floorboards, built in wardrobes with lots of storage, curtains, ceiling fan with a remote, a TV point, and power points at both ends of the room. The house is furnished, but the vacant bedroom is not. The upstairs of the house has polished floorboards, 3 bedrooms all with built in wardrobes (mine, a guest bedroom and the one for rent), bathroom, separate toilet, and another room used as a study/office. There's also an upstairs balcony that runs the length of the house. Beautiful views and the city lights can be seen from the balcony and both main bedrooms (includes the one for rent). Down stairs has a lounge with parquetry floors, a wood burning fire, a large Fujitsu split system heater / air con, kitchen, separate dining with a bay window and slate floors, and a separate room for storage. Outside - downstairs has a partly sheltered and lawned area for BBQ, socialising etc. The house is on a large block so there’s plenty room for growing things if you’re a keen gardener. There is also off street parking with a double access driveway. Belair is a great central location. From here it’s about 20mins to the city, or 20mins to Marion Shopping Centre/Cinema complex, it’s about 5 mins to Blackwood which has Coles, Woolworths, Foodland, lots of local shops and places to eat, plus public transport (Blackwood and Coromandel train stations and lots of busses). It’s about 7 mins to Mitcham, which has very similar amenities to Blackwood, and also has a Wallis Cinema. The Belair and Glenalta train stations are only minutes away from here as is the bus. I am easy going, clean and funny...but that last one is just my opinion. I will be working full time in the new year (currently 4 day a week) and studying online. I don't have any pets but I'd love to live with a dog (or person) who needs a jogging buddy. I am happy to help with the cleaning of shared spaces and quite enjoy cooking; although I normally meal prep once a week, I am definitely open to "family" dinners on occasion. I am vegan but I don't care what you eat as long as you don't ask me to. I'm normally down for a catch up, drink or movie night, but do need my own space at times. I can contribute a fridge, washing machine and some other electronics if needed; and would prefer an unfurnished room, but I can be flexible with this.
