Hi future housemate(s)! We are currently looking for a nice house somewhere in the Inner North of Brisbane. It should be quiet but close to public transport, preferably have a gas stove and air-con. A garden and/or nice deck would be great as well. And we love timber floors and VJ boards. Depending on what comes up, we'd either like to live with another couple or just a single person. A little about us: Paul runs a home maintenance business and loves spending time out in the bush or creating things in his workshop. Sarah is a self-employed German tutor and enjoys meeting friends, museums and music. Both of us like watching movies, drinking coffee or wine, hiking, exploring and getting out of the city. We're not the kind of couple that you will always find together doing the same thing but we're quite independent. We also have a geriatric cat named Tom (seriously, he is 21!) who may or may not still be around when we're moving house. But not looking at getting another one after him. It would be great to find someone who is looking for a home and not just a house, appreciates the good things in life, is somewhat clean and knows how to run a house and simply enjoys living with other people. Our move-date is flexible and we're really just looking for the right place. Please get in contact if you think we could be a fit! Cheers, Sarah and Paul
Hey I'm Emma! I'm currently studying a dual degree at QUT and my spare hours are usually spent working or sleeping. Evidently, I am quite reserved but I am always excited to meet and get to know new people.
Hey! my name is Isobel, i'm looking for a 4th housemate around the same age as me to move into a place early February(we are still looking for places but would love if you were involved in the process). I've already teamed up with 1 guy named Jacob and 1 gal named Tas, Jacob is 19 pretty laid back and funny! He goes to UQ and studies Zoology while working part time and is an awesome cook! Tas is 21, she studies at QUT and is in her 3rd year of Creative Industries, she's pretty active and social aswell and is working part time. We are looking for a modern 4 bedroom house around Kelvin Grove, Paddington, Alderley, Spring Hill, and Red Hill/ anywhere close to the city really. We are also looking for a place that is pet friendly, we don't have any animals yet but in the future we might! I'm 19 and I study at QUT full time (Bachelors of Business and Fine Art (Interactive Visual Design) and I work part time in hospitality. I'm fun, easy going, creative, very clean and respectful. I'm quiet social and love hanging out but I understand personal space. I love watching movies/ tv and love to cook healthy meals. Send me a message if there's anything else you want to know about me, Tas and Jacob! :)
Quiet, respectful and mindful of others when needed however very social especially if we get along well. Love spending nights in watching either sport or netflix but love going out for a drink. Lover of breakfast foods and burgers so if you want to try a new cafe or burger joint count me in. Night shift worker away from the city so need a car space (secured or free street parking is fine) and need housemates to be okay with said shift - usual arrival time home from work would be roughly 5-6am. Very understanding that there may be noise around while I sleep during the day and will not make this an issue. Looking for a private room (ensuite or own bathroom preferred but not a deal breaker) where I can walk and explore the Valley and inner city lifestyle and enjoy a drink at live gigs without needing a $60 cab or be a short uber ride away (eg Morningside) Also interested in starting a teamup possibly with one or two others and have seen plenty properties online around Morningside and also some closer to the Valley. Very respectful and clean in shared areas and always open to conversations about how we are able to improve or keep our living situations running well. Feel free to message me whenever. Most likely to reply after 2pm due to sleeping during the day.
I'm easygoing, friendly, humorous and with respect for all people. I'm organized, clean, decent with a good sense of humor! A Brazilian guy in Brisbane to study English and I have a part-time job. I´m looking for a minimum stay of 6 months, if we get along, we can stay flatmates for a long time. Interested in single rooms with own bathroom in the region of Valley-Newstead-Teneriffe-New Farm. Best Regards!!

Hey guys! I'm Tahlia! I'm currently living in a share house on the north side of Brisbane but I'd love to move out and get closer to the city. I'm looking for a housemate that's probably between the ages of 21 and 25. I'm 21. I'm a very quiet and reserved person but I love to have a laugh. I'm a neat and tidy person, I like having a clean house but my bedroom does tend to get a bit messy, I do a clean on weekends when I'm not working. On one hand I'm quite the hermit, I'll happily sit at home and do a Netflix Marathon all day but on the other hand I love to be outside and exploring new places or going to the beach. I'm a non smoker and rare drinker, I don't like to party and I go to bed early. I'm a musician and a beginner pole dancer. I love food, books, photography and videography and if there's an animal around, there's a 100% chance I'll talk to it rather than any humans nearby. I have a pet - you'll need to be open minded because she's a rat. I know I know, a rat definitely wasn't my first choice of pet either but she was so darn cute I couldn't resist! She IS strictly an outside pet though but she comes inside for cuddles. I also have a gorgeous cat called Turtle who lives with my parents - I would love to bring her up to live with me if it's at all possible but it depends on the living situation. I need to move into a place where I can put my car under cover or in a shed and I have a jewellers bench that I also need to put somewhere - a shed is ideal for that too. I would prefer to be able to spread out my belongings throughout a house as I have too many things to keep in one bedroom. I would love to live much closer to the city, 15 minutes or under would be amazing. Travelling to work from where I live now is getting super expensive! I'd also prefer to move in with just one person. If we team up, I would prefer that we find a 3 bedroom place so that my parents, and friends, have a place to stay when they visit from NSW. I ask that my new roommate doesn't smoke please! If i sound like someone you would like to live with, feel free to contact me and we can meet up for coffee and chat sometime!
hi i'm phoebe :D i work 3-10 tues to sat at the international airport. i'm clean, quiet and friendly but defiantly enjoy my alone time and privacy and will respect yours. ill need a furnished room (or at least a bed) and i would really like to have my own bathroom (although not a dealbreaker). also, i would absolutely LOVE a place with a pool! i have to move by the end of THIS MONTH! So it's kinda urgent
27 year-old journalism student at UQ searching for housemates around my age to live with who are fun, independent and socially like-minded. Although I work crazy hours as well as study through the week, I'm always up for being social on weekends. I'd like to think I'm well-travelled having lived in the United States for close to 10 months just recently. Look forward to hearing from you soon! Cheers, Rhodezy
My partner (24) and I (20) have just been notified we have to move out within just under a month and are very worried we will soon become homeless! We are into living a healthy lifestyle but sometimes over indulge when enjoying a movie night in. We aren't huge party goers as we both work 25-38 hour weeks and are exhausted afterwards, in saying that we don't mind a couple of wines / beers every now and again. We are both commencing study this year as well. We are very friendly, tidy and laid back, if you think we might be a good fit please message me so we can discuss things further / meet for a coffee!
Hey there, I am Priscilla, 24yo from Sydney but I have lived in Brisbane for the last 10years. I work full time for an online retailer. I love to read, watch movies, cook, go to the beach and, most importantly, spend time with my dog. We're looking for a place to live for 6 months - 1 year where he will be welcomed indoor and outdoor.
This apartment is located in Fortitude Valley / Bowen Hills - close enough to have the Valley and CBD practically at your feet but thankfully not too noisy. In walking distance are: - Fortitude Valley train station - 5 minutes - James Street - 10 minutes - Brisbane CBD - 30 minutes We are close to plenty of great food venues, cafes, and bars, so there is always something to do nearby. I am happy to discuss your choice of either bedroom, which both have spacious wardrobes. One bedroom has even more wardrobe space, a separate air conditioner, and a nook suitable for a desk or reading space. The other bedroom has a large window with plenty of light. The apartment is recently built, with modern fixtures and appliances. It includes: - Spacious, state of the art kitchen with dishwasher - Air-conditioning in lounge room and one bedroom - Top-floor balcony, 15 levels above the Valley, barbecue included - Good-sized bedrooms The apartment complex (The Green) is new and modern, and includes pleasant, green courtyards. The room will be available from mid-March 2017.
Hi Everyone :) My current flatmates are packing up and heading o/s, hence I must start the Flatmate search again. I'm 32, easy going gal who works for an airline...so shift work. Ideally would be looking at something that does have multiple bathrooms, or even the ensuited bedroom - just means I won't wake anyone up when I'm slapping on some make up at ridiculous hours of the am for work. I currently live in Newstead/Bowen Hills area. I am open to moving anywhere Inner North. Would love to have some sort of outside area/pool to keep cool. Air Con would be a godsend, but is not a complete must..I would settle for a ceiling fan! Due to the shift work, you may not see me at times. But I am very social, so do like to get along with who I live with, catch up over some wine and dinner, but then on the flip side, I love to kick back and just chill. On days off you'll find me down the coast! I'm getting in early - I'm needing out of my current pad Mid April. So if you have something or would like to look together - please get in touch xx
Hi, I'm a professional working in the Brisbane CBD looking to find someone to share with one or two others in a central location. I'd prefer to meet someone to find a place together, but happy to move into an existing property if the fit is right. Selling points for Michael include: - Clean and tidy, no stranger to a vacuum cleaner; - Produces baked goods for you from time to time; - Can bring along a high quality lounge suite; - Friendly, but happy to give you your space; - I won't always be just hanging around the house; - Comes with access to his Stan subscription. I'd appreciate meeting one or two like-minded, reasonably tidy people to share with. Let me know if you'd like to discuss this further, I'm happy to meet for coffee/apartment hunting.

Hi! I'm 20 years old, I work full time hours at the airport so i'm not always home, but in my down time I just like to relax at home or enjoy a good night out on the weekend. I'm really just looking for a place to live out my last few months (till early April) is Aus before I make my big move to Canada. Hey future house mate/'s, I'm 28 and work full time in Emergency Services for the QLD Government. I'm currently transfering back to Brisbane in late January after spending 3 years in North Queensland. I am a very social guy, always happy for a chat, to lend an ear or just to chill and watch some TV. Having shared before I completely understand when people need there own space and the need for reliability and most importantly cleanliness. Unfortunately, due to the job I do work shift work, this doesn't mean I'm a zombie 24/7 and leave at odd hours (12 hour shifts usually 6am -6pm - vice versa), far from that, but does mean that I sleep until midday two days per week... pretty much like 70% of Uni students. If you think I would be a good fit in your house don't be shy message me!
Hello! I am Lacey:) I am clean and tidy and work full time but also don't mind going out and having wine & cheese nights. I would like to live with someone who is friendly as well! I am looking for a modern master room with en suite and aircon if you have something similar please do let me know.
Hey guys! I'm a 22 year old male who's either working, rock climbing/exercising, cooking, sleeping, or relaxing! I work full time and sometimes have to work night shift due to the nature of my work. I am currently a supervisor of an engineering company which I started working at this year. I have lived in share houses since I was 16 so I am well aware of cleaning up after yourself, splitting the bills with whom ever lives with you, sharing the cleaning load and yard work (I love gardening), and respecting people's space. I come with everything for my own room, and would prefer to use all my own stuff when it comes to that space. I am very friendly and really enjoy making new friends, I love pets but don't come with my own. Would really love to hear from you and hopefully arrange a time to come check out your space/ look at a new space together! Soul
