29 (fast approaching 30), Scottish female looking for a place to rent in Brissy for approx 4 months from 29th July. Tidy, friendly, easy going. Will most likely find work in a call centre so will be working a wide variety of shifts. Due to my work (i.e talking to people all day), I really do enjoy 'me' time when I get home but certainly sociable. Enjoy a glass of wine and Netflix, attending as many gigs as money will allow and going on long walks. Looking for a chilled, peaceful environment. My party days are long behind me! My budget is $200 per week although negotiable if it's in the right location.
All utilities included. 3 bedroom + 2 bath room + 2 secured carpark apartment. Huge open living room and balcony over looking the city and Brisbane river. Located inside a resort like complex right in the middle of Newstead, Teneriffe, Fortitude Valley and Bowen Hills. There are 2 swimming pools which include a lap pool and a tennis court. The whole complex is fully secured through out. This apartment is fully furnished including all the spare bedrooms and comes with 2 secure car parks Also because the apartment is located slightly uphill, it gives a bit of privacy despite being surrounded by 'live scenes' area! And theres always nice breeze coming in when you open the balcony door. My apartment located just 1km from the city. Technically you won't need a car as everything you need are within walking distance. Below are amenities around the area just to give you an idea: - Gaswork shopping centre - Woolworths, Aldi - Restaurants/bars - Gym (Goodlife Fortitude Valley & FitX) - Bowen Hills train station - Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospital/ University of Queensland Medical school Although the apartment is a 3 bedroom apartment, I will only be renting one of the room. The room is fully furnished with queen bed, study desk and built in wardrobe. All you need is your suitcases! You will also have the luxury of your own toilet and bathroom. There is a ceiling fan and aircond in the living room If you have any question feel free to ask. Looking forward to hear from you :)
Hey everyone 👋🏻 I am a young women, born in Australia and working full time in an office. I’m looking for some like minded people to start a home with, I’m private and respectful but in saying that if you are wanting to have a few drinks or just a chat over a coffee I will never bite. I have a small group of friends that I catch up with regularly so not home much on weekends but home most nights during the week. I like going on hikes, cooking dinners with friends, travelling, going out for a few drinks. There’s not much I don’t like doing to be honest. I have a dog named Oscar, he is a Lhasa Apso. Small bred that doesn’t loose hair (so lots of hair cuts), my mum has allergies and I was given Oscar when I was 11 hence this requirement (I’m not allergic to pet hair). He’s a quite, super friendly (might lick you to death) and loves cuddles. He’s good with cats, dogs and other pets. I’m letting you know all of this because I’m wanting to have him with me, he’s my fur baby.
I'm a masters of Molecular Biology student at UQ, and a Brisbane International Student Ambassador for India. I'm studying full-time, working part time, and in my spare time I host a podcast, read books, go on walks, explore new places in Brisbane, and occasionally act in plays at the university. I'm currently looking to move into a neat and cosy place not too far away from the Brisbane Inner suburbs. Personally, I'm clean, organised, and enjoy hanging out, chatting, or watching movies while also being respectful of people's personal space
I am from Brazil very tidy, clean and easy going. I'm looking for a nice place to live. I love to have a beer on weekends, sometimes on week as well.
Hello lovely potential housemates! I’m Nafisah and I work full time as a high school teacher so I’m fairly busy during the week. I’m looking for a clean quiet place full of lovely people. I’m super friendly and always up for a chat but love my own space. I like watching Netflix, going out to brunch and cooking! Looking to move to an area closer to the city preferably with other females. 🙋🏾♀️☘️🌿🌱
Hi there! I’m Carol, 33 years old and I work full time in Clayfield but I like to live in the city or it’s surrounds. I’m fairly active which means I’m up early and out of the house all day long on business days. I’m a very busy but that doesn't stop me being a social person. I’m not a party person, and I appreciate a calm, clean and organized place to live. I would like to rent a 2 bedroom apartment to share with another female. I don’t have furniture, so we will need to buy it or rent a furnished apartment.
I'm a down to earth, easy-going 28 year old guy who wants to meet some new people. I currently work for the council, full-time in Morayfield. My contract just got extended for another month (until August), but it is in the process of being extended again until Jan 2020. I would love to find housemates I can get along with and have a good laugh just as anyone does, but also enjoy the quiet times that I get to myself to just chill out. I'm looking in any suburb that's within the North Brisbane region. In my spare time I love to play games (video or board games, you name it) and sport (mainly volleyball).
My partner and I are moving from Sweden to Brisbane in the first week of September. Chase will be working, I will be on a tourist visa for the first three months. We are applying for a partner visa when we arrive and that will allow me to work after the three month period. Here in Sweden I work as a receptionist for the local council and Chase work as a groundsman at a camping ground. I play soccer and Chase play rugby. When we’re not working or going to training we enjoy going to the gym together, watch movies, read books or hang out with friends. We are not bringing much with us for the move so somewhere furnished would be good to start off with. We are looking for something where we can estimate the living cost, therefore prefer that bills are included in the price. We have rented and lived in share houses before. We are clean, tidy and respectful.
