Most important thing for me when sharing a house is being respectful of shared spaces. Cleaning after you eat, no dirty pans in the sink, and cleaning the bathroom regularly. After that living with people should be easy. I am professional working full time and have recently been offered a job in Melbourne. I'm from the UK and have just moved to Aus 9 months ago to adelaide with my wife. She will be staying in adelaide until we she can leave her job and we can find a place together. I do have to work some night shifts so I would be grateful for some quiet during the day when I'm on a run of nights. I have loads of interests- scuba diving, movies, comedy, travelling, house music (don't worry I won't be playing this), running, F45, astronomy etc... plenty to talk about. I am sociable, fun and enjoy getting to know people. I am clean but not OCD. I would treat the flat/house like it was my own and expect the same from other flat mates. Give me a call or text if this matches with what your looking for Jin
Loves to have a laugh & can take a joke. Can talk til the cows come home but appreciates the ME time. Cooking is most fun when I'm bothered which is often as I love to feed others. Loves to bake. Clean and tidy. Weekend lazy's in front of the tele is the best but are ramdom. Enjoy a glass of wine occasionally when chatting with friends. I'm a smoker but only do this outdoors. Cleanliness & tidyness is a must, but respect, trust and humility is what makes a home.

I am a 25 year old male professional working in the CBD, looking for good flatmates and a furnished home. I enjoy jogging, nature, music (progressive / trance), animals (especially dogs) and have an interest in businesses / entrepreneurial ideas. Fairly clean but not ocd either. Respectful of other people's space but up for hanging out and having a chat sometimes. Looking for a flatshare for 3 to 12 months at this stage and preferably close to a train station. Keen to move out to be closer to work and be more independent.
Hi, I'm Kavs Im 23 and I'm an Audio Visual Technician. I'm currently looking to move closer to the city, looking for housemates that are laid back, open minded, clean and often up for 'family' dinner and general activities together. Looking for a home to live in, not just a house.
Hello possible future housemate. I am looking to rent a medium to large size room long term, and would ideally like to stay for 12 months, or longer. I am a happy and easy going person. I am honest and reliable, and treat people with respect. I was born and grew up in Melbourne, and love our city. For entertainment: Relaxing with friends, movies, music, snow skiing & scuba diving amongst other activities. Always willing to give something new a go. If there is space, I'd love to grow some fresh herbs and veggies, as I enjoy cooking good food for myself, friends and my house mates. I get along well with all people, regardless of race, religion or lifestyle choices. I don't waste my time or yours being judgmental. I am an animal lover, though I don't have any pets. I consider it a bonus if the house has pets. I am a smoker, however outside only is not a problem. I work in the Engineering field, as a machine designer. I love doing what I do, and often have opportunity to work from home. Best regards, Colin.
I'm a 26 year old veterinarian from Manchester in the north of England & my other half is Darren, a 32 year old civil engineer from Glasgow in Scotland. We arrived in Australia in March 2017, and we're planning to work/travel for 12 months before returning back home. Our only aims are to see as much of this vast country as possible, catch some sunshine and eat some great food. We have both secured employment for 3-6 months in Melbourne starting in June 2017 - Darren in the CBD, and myself out in Delahey. We will both be working full time during the week, and also some weekends. In our spare time we love cooking, eating, seeing live music, the occasional G&T/glass of wine, & we're planning to explore Melbourne and its surrounds as much as we can whilst we're there as well. I am fastidious (probably too much so - Darren can vouch!) - about being clean and tidy so you can rest assured we will take extremely good care of any property we live in. We are non-smokers and do not have a car, although I will have a bicycle in Melbourne. If you're looking for a tidy, considerate couple who are equally happy to share space and hang out, but also like our personal space and downtime, please drop us a message.
I'm Akshay, 23, Graduate Electrical Engineer looking for any engineering opportunity, till then working full time as a purchasing assistant. With my spare time I like to try new food, brew beer and hang out with mates. I'm super relaxed and just looking for a house that is to. But don't panic I'm not relaxed when it comes to keep things neat and clean in the common areas of the house. I've done the share house game before, so I'm more than comfortable giving people their own space, and I enjoy time to myself as well, but it'd be really cool to have some housemates who like to have a drink and socialise a bit as well. I'm reasonably neat, and my employment is secure, so no issues with the rent. I am moving back to Melbourne around June, and would prefer somewhere near city, but will happily consider other areas as well. If you think you might have what I'm looking for, or have any questions, then I would love to hear from you! :) Akshay
Great personality, very mature and very easy going, i look forward to meeting like minded people and living in a great environment. I'm am a song writer and guitar player, so in my down time I like to listen to songs and write great music! I work full time so I know how precious good rest is, I'm very respectful honest and hard working, I love a great thriller asain food, Mexican food and the list goes on and on, I look forward to meeting y'all.
I've had lots of experience being a flatmate. I'm a warm, caring and humorous person. I'll always pay the rent, be respectful and clean up after myself. I work as a project manager. Thanks for taking the time to read about me.
Ciao! I'm Giacomo, I'm Italian and I work as a Italian language assistant in a school. When I was at university I've always lived with other people (6 years) and so I know very well what being a flatmate means. I'm respectful of common spaces, I can help with cleanings and I love talks. I love cooking, eating, reading and watching films or series. I love music too and I can play guitar. I usually spend my free time in these ways or just going out with my friends or travelling. I'm also keen on sport (I watch soccer, I play volleyball, I love running, swimming and going to the gym) and I have a passion for nature green. I love animals too. Last but not least, besides Italian I speak English, Russian, Spanish and French and I'd like to make practice in one of these languages. I am open to different people but I'm not into noisy and dirty flatmates. If possible, I'd like to avoid smokers.

I've been living in sharehouses for about 6 years now and am well and truly house trained. Let me know if I sound like a good fit for your flat, happy to get coffee or a beer sometime to meet 🙂

Hi! I'm Lawrence, an International student from Mauritius, who's been living in Melbourne for a few years now. I'm looking to move closer to the City to save time going to work and to Uni. Full time post-grad, so a cosy place for relaxing/studying would help! I'm also a casual hospitality worker, so unavoidably pretty friendly. Not big on partying anymore, but do appreciate drinks and always up for some banter! Respectful of other housemates privacy. Not very fussy about a little bit of mess here and there and the TV playing in the background as I grew up in a big family house, but I tend to enjoy the sight of clean common areas... Happy to do my share of chores too. Random facts: I'm an avid recycler, I don't smoke nor do I eat meat (anymore) and errrr.... I also speak French and Spanish. Voilà!
Hey! I'm Jacob, and I'm a 26yo casual relief teacher who also works a second job during afternoons in Essendon (Mon-Fri). So I am out and about a fair bit. I am a (respectful) smoker. I always try my best to not affect others around me with the habit. Very laid back type of guy, who loves both the company of others, and my own private time. Passionate about all of my creative endeavours, be it writing, drawing, photography or music (writing/performing/DJ). Love finding new places to hear good music on the weekends, as well as attending the odd festival here and there. I'm a pretty keen camper/hiker as well. Sometimes though, you've just got to relax and watch the footy ;) I'd like to think that I'm a fairly tidy guy. I don't like to leave mess around and will always clean up after myself. All in all I'm a pretty relaxed, open minded kind of dude. I'm down for a chat, meal or bev most of the time. And while I'll be keen for sinking into the couch and watching a film or some TV, I also appreciate that people have their own show to run and I'll always respect that to the fullest. Well, that's me. It would be great to find a comfortable space with some like minded cats who simply put, get along together :) Cheers
Hey all! I am looking for a furnished bedroom in a share house for 6 months or more. About me: - 27 year old female - Easy going - Clean - Working full time (as a teacher) - Have been living in share houses/rental properties for 7+ years (so I am very familiar with cleaning, consideration of others etc.) -I also love cooking, reading and having a glass of wine. Looking for some awesome house mates who don't mind having a chat and sharing a wine or two. Cheers guys :)
Hi :) I'm looking for a place to stay closer to or in the city with a friend or two. Currently taking up my MBA in VU City flinders and working part time. Friendly, positive, easy to get along with, passionate about cooking & food, loves to travel & explore and meet new friends...
*Also keen to team-up with people to look for a place in the western suburbs too. Send me a message if you're in the same boat and think we'd get along!* Hello future housemates, anyone got a room for me? Looking for a fun / creative / environmentally-conscious / awesome sharehouse on the west side of the city (so Footscray, Yarraville and neighbouring suburbs). WHO AM I? Greetings, I’m Evie (22)! I’m a hopeless Taswegian at heart, but have got quite used to this trendy Melbourne lifestyle over the last few years living in Brunswick. I’m studying post-grad veterinary in Werribee (big thumbs up for a place with animals!) so am pretty busy during the week. On the weekends I love getting outdoors – be it climbing, kayaking, hiking or just sitting somewhere painting or reading. I work part time at a climbing gym and occasionally take a dog for a walk (and for some reason they pay me too!). I dabble in all kinds of other random hobbies with varying competency. I’m an optimistic person and the general consensus is that I am quite nice. WHO ARE YOU? I love living with people, not merely coexisting. To me, that means laughs, adventures, shared meals and friendship. I care about the environment and would love to live with other people that do too (I’m 99% vego btw). My ideal place would be in the west, a house with a backyard, $100-200 a week, non-smoking, 3-6 people, and some sunshine. MOVE-IN As soon as possible!!
I'm pretty easy to live with, i work full-time tuesday to saturday and i have plans most times during the week with friends. I have previously lived out of home for two years from when i was 19-21 and only recently moved back with my family and looking to move out again. I'm a clean and tidy person and have no issue in cleaning rosters and things like that. I don't take up much food in the fridge because as i said i eat out a lot. I have an easy going personality and am pretty chill with anything. I enjoy listening to music, going to concerts and reading books.
Hello! I'm a Creative Writing student at Deakin University (Burwood) working part time. I write a blog about anything and everything. I'm not a big party person although I do enjoy dinner and drinks, and prefer to watch movies or Netflix in my leisure time. I'm a relatively quiet person, albeit quite social as well and I try to maintain a tidy space as well as living minimally in my space. I like to get things done sooner rather than later. I get along very well with pets (but don't have my own) and will be mindful of others during night time hours.
