Hello! I'm Killian, a 25-year-old engineering Master’s student from Marseille, France. I study at Aix-Marseille University, and this year, I’ve been given the amazing opportunity to do a 3-month internship at the Queensland Eye Institute in Woolloongabba, Brisbane.
I'm someone calm, thoughtful, and respectful, both in life and as a tenant<:roomate. I’ve had experience living independently and in shared flats, and I always make sure to keep my space clean, organized, and peaceful. I’m also sociable and open-minded, which makes it easy for me to adapt to new environments and people.
Traveling and discovering new cultures has always been a big part of who I am. That’s why I’m beyond excited to come to Australia, a country that’s so rich in nature, culture, and energy, and very different from what I’ve known in Europe. I see this internship not just as a professional step, but also as a personal journey I’ve dreamed about for years.
During this time, I’ll be staying with two friends of mine from university Claire Cattlot (23) and Noé Bourgoin (22) who are also doing internships nearby. We’re all respectful, responsible students who are fully committed to our work and to being excellent guests. As part of our studies, we've received three merit-based scholarships totaling 11,700 AUD, which guarantees that we will be able to pay our rent without any issues. Additionally, each of us has saved up 9,000 AUD for our travels, so we are financially well-prepared for our stay.
The three of us are looking to rent an apartment for the full 3-month duration. We are available for a viewing as soon as possible and would love the opportunity to visit the property and connect. We’re genuinely excited to find a place where we can feel at home, settle in comfortably, and enjoy everything the area has to offer.
