    Grace and Shelley

    $600/week21-34 year old women

My friend Shelley and I (Grace) have recently moved from New Zealand and are looking for a long-term home here in Brisbane. We both work full-time (in St Lucia & Chermside), so ideally we’re after somewhere in between those areas and close to public transport. We’ll be moving with our two cats, George and Cleo. They’re fully indoor, well-behaved, litter trained, and we can happily provide references for them (and for us!) from previous rentals. A bit about us: Full-time workers, stable income Respectful, clean, quiet, and easy-going — we enjoy cooking/baking, reading, and gaming. We're big foodies and love trying out a new food joint on occasion. I am studying a diploma of events management online while I work fulltime. Respectful: Values personal space and house guidelines. Clean and tidy: Keeps shared spaces clean and organized. Quiet & considerate: Minimizes noise, especially during rest hours. Friendly and easy-going: Open to conversation and getting along with housemates. Responsible: Pays bills/rent on time and communicates openly about issues. Shared interests is a bonus - sitting down and watching something, or gaming together I look after my own meals although usually Shelley and I meal plan together. Having a shared meal once in a while could be nice too. We don't have much in terms of household furniture but we do have a bunch of kitchen utensils/appliances Description of pets We have two cats, Cleo (2, black domestic short hair) and George (4, tuxedo cat). They are fully indoor, well-behaved, and litter trained. Both were strays before we rescued them off the street at our last rental in New Zealand. They are friendly, calm, and used to living in shared homes. They will be flying over once we have secured a long-term home, and we can provide references from previous rentals.

    Benji

    $300/week20 year old man

BUDGET - I've put as 300/w for now, but once I've got a better idea for how much I'm making that figure will likely go up closer to 500 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My name is Benji Scott, I'm a 20 year old filmmaker who loves spending time outdoors and going on adventures! I'm moving from England to (hopefully) go into full-time filmmaking, so if you're a creative too thats even better! I mostly make films about cars, properties and hiking as well as personal projects. My dream is to become a director for fiction films, so you may find yourself hearing about all kinds of plans and ideas. BONUS FUN FACT: I always have my camera on me - and I certainly know how to use it. One thing thats guaranteed about being around me is that you'll quickly find yourself with lots of cool photos of you!! Of course I'll always respect someone's privacy - if you don't want to be in photos, you can rest assured you'll never be in them. I love cooking, so if you're a foodie you can expect great meals cooked for you on the regular! I am half French, so I love to cook seafood and pastas in particular - but I have grown up catering for my (vegetarian) family, so I know how to cook veggie as well. Side note - if you can speak French I'd love to spend time practicing with you. My French definitely needs some working on, so I'd love to speak with you! I enjoy a nice drink with a meal or after work, but I'm not a big drinker and very rarely get drunk. Likewise I rarely go to parties - I will for the social aspects, but I will always prefer a nice dinner or sports evening with friends. I don't smoke, or do drugs. I don't think anything less of people who do, Its just not something I personally do. I love hiking and climbing, as well as other sports. I want to get into surfing and snowboarding (the latter will probably not happen whilst I'm in Brisbane), so if anyone knows how to do that already I would love to learn! I'm looking for a house with open and friendly people who enjoy spending time with one another and don't leave lots of work for everyone else to do. I'm a tidy person with good personal discipline; you won't catch me leaving washing up not done or coming home late and making lots of noise. I was an RAF air cadet for many years, so any sort of messiness was drilled out of me a long time ago! I'm really looking forward to meeting and getting to know you! I'll see you in October :)))
