Hello! We are Rosie & Josh, looking for a home in Brisbane. We are a British couple who have been together for 8 years; we are both 31. After holidaying in Australia last March, we decided to make it home. So we are back! We arrived in Perth in January, exploring all the avenues of becoming permanent residents, which led us to Brisbane. We have been in QLD since mid-March for Josh to start full-time work within a heritage construction company, working on histortic buildings around the city (which he did for 12 years back in the UK). The job is going well, and it's time for us to settle into Brisbane. Rosie works in a medical centre in Everton Park, which fits in perfectly with our current living situation: pet sitting! We have pet/house sits arranged until 31st August. Once we have a home, Rosie will be looking to return to her career as a Remedial and Relaxation massage therapist. Josh: Work hours are 6 am - 2 pm, so leaves around 5 am each day. Keen BBQ'er Loves a good series or movie Gaming, when he finds time Is an outside smoker Rosie: Works Tue - Fri in Everton Park, shifts between 7am - 8pm. Also working on building up a massage business (I was previously self-employed doing this). I tend to get up with Josh in the morning. Enjoys going to the gym or a yoga class Sourdough baker Loves being in nature Together: Love going for hikes, spotting as much wildlife and mushrooms. Veggie growing, if the space allows. Cooking a meal together, with good music and a beer. Running together. We both like our home to be a chill, relaxed place with the radio on, where we share the odd house meal and have a friendly vibe. We value a sense of community within the house, and in a local neighbourhood, we still speak to our UK neighbours regularly. We love to chat, but we aren't the type of people who have friends over often.
