Hi I am Dan, I am just returning back to Australia from travelling the last few years around the world. I love to get out and about, my background was military. Then I specialised in electrical engineering and mostly repairing everything. I enjoy gardening and planting and maintaining a nice garden. I like music, movies, art and history. I love to chat and explore new experiences and places. But I also enjoy my own space as well and quiet times. I am hoping to write a book, so will preferably want some private space at times so I don't get so distracted. I often talk too much if I'm excited and don't get much done. As far as a housemate goes, I am as good as they get. I have lived all around the world, but also with military settings. So hygiene and cleanliness I take seriously. I have previously only been the landlord or lead tenant, whilst looking for roommates. So I feel like I've seen all types and know what works best in most settings. I have good communication, and I am easily approached if there is an issue. I don't mind if there are house rules or little unwritten laws. I feel as long as everyone is respected the house can thrive, nobody should feel uncomfortable in their home with the behaviour of others. If there are other housemates I don't mind speaking up for the group in a respectful way. I have experience speaking in front of many men and people in my time in the military, so I don't shy away from duty or helping others.
