I’m a lecturer at UQ and have been working in Brisbane for a year. Originally from China, I’ve spent the past 12 years coasting around the world, mostly in the US but also Germany, Belgium and Japan. I tend to keep a very clean kitchen. I don’t cook very much, and if I do it's mostly very easy dishes which don't require much cleanup. I tend to go to bed early and won’t make noises at night. Over the weekend I love to draw or enjoy a good movie. Aside from Mandarin I also speak Japanese, Cantonese plus a tiny bit of German, and love learning new languages from people of all cultural backgrounds. I'm hoping to stay somewhere long term, trying 1 or 2 months at first but if I like the place, I will keep renewing my lease. My preferred location would be somewhere away from the city centre, and also some distance away from shopping/market areas.
