    Craig

    $300/week65 year old man

Older Australian guy. I ceased working late last year, as an Environmental Health Officer for government. I had a long term (>10yrs) rental lease direct to the owner, and I have shared with numerous people during those many years. The rent increase has simply gotten out of control. Mainly, I share my home with females, as it is more balanced. However, I am open to all offers to relocate to a clean, safe, quiet, and friendly share home. My length of stay is hoped to be 18 Months, as my plan is to move to SE Asia. However, the Aust Gov't locks in pensioners to a 2yr "must stay here" policy (crazy!). I am fully able to continue paying rent and shared costs. I will avoid any form of conflict, and I will not tolerate drugs, alcoholics, liars, or people who have no self-pride. I have already experienced some bad situations. I am respectful, clean, and quiet to live with. I'm a non-smoker, keep to myself mostly, do like to cook, listen to modern music (huge CD collection), and I do drink a glass of wine with my meals. There is a written reference from my current landlords, and also numerous "thank you notes" from the many female co-tenants, who were mostly Japanese students. If someone is looking to find a larger, vacant house or apartment, I may be the ideal candidate, as I currently have a whole Unit full of furniture, appliances, and needed items. I need to either sell, store, or move stuff and be out first week in November 2025. A "Team-Up" with mature, decent people would be great. Just putting some feelers out to see if anything is here? Location is open, but I need public transport, as no car anymore. If interested, drop me a line, meet up and see if we fit.

    Jared

    $350/week32 year old man

Hey, I'm Jared! I’m Jared, 32, and studying architecture. When I’m not buried in blueprints and design ideas, I work full-time at a camera store, soaking up all the creative vibes that come with it. A Bit About Me I grew up in a traditional South African home, where I learned the value of respect, cleanliness, and hard work. Having a brother and sister definitely taught me how to share space, respect boundaries, and get along with different personalities. What Makes Me Tick Architecture is my big passion, but there’s more to me than just that. I’m super into sports and hit the gym five days a week—it’s my way of staying consistent and feeling good. I also love cooking and enjoying great food, whether it’s trying out new recipes or hanging out over a good meal. My Vibe I’m all about finding the right balance. I love chilling with housemates over a new TV show, listening to good music, or just chatting. At the same time, I totally get the need for personal space and am happy to do my own thing when needed. I like to think I’m pretty laid-back and easy to get along with. Why I’d Be an Awesome Housemate Clean & Tidy: I keep shared spaces neat and appreciate a clean vibe at home. Respectful: I’m big on boundaries and making sure everyone feels comfortable. Active & Sociable: Whether it’s gym talk, sharing meals, or just hanging out, I bring good energy. Cultural Roots: Growing up in South Africa gave me a unique perspective and some cool stories to share. Let’s Chat! If you’re looking for a chill, reliable housemate who’s easy to live with and down to hang out (or not!), hit me up. Whether it’s swapping recipes, talking sports, or just making the house feel like home, I’m here for it!
