Hi, we're looking for a new female housemate for our cosy Queenslander. We're ideally located on the edge of Woolloongabba and Stones Corner, very close to the Burada bus and train stations, and only 4 stops to the city. This location also has a huge park on its doorstep, as well as walking and City Cycle tracks. If you have a car, we don't have garage space, sorry, but street parking is free. The house is fully furnished, and your room can be furnished with a queen bed, bedside table, lamp, desk chair, and waste paper basket for a once-off price to be negotiated (as these items are owned by our former housemate, so you'd be buying them off her). Or, if you already have your own bedroom setup, the room can be unfurnished for you. It has a sunny outlook with wraparound windows and curtains for privacy. It's a narrow room, so the photos show two different ways you can position the bed. You can see there's space for a desk and you'd easily fit a bookshelf or similar in too. There's a ceiling fan, and no AC, but you get a good breeze when you open the windows. The room also features a massive built-in wardrobe. Other goodies around the home include a brand new five burner gas stove (installed last Tuesday), French doors opening onto a large rear deck with outdoor lounge, and a backyard with garden beds if you want to have a crack at growing veggies/herbs.
