I am an easy-going, respectful and independent 25-year-old, looking for a studio or private room to rent in Brisbane. For now I work at a coffee house in Caloundra and have a passion for the arts and writing. I am an amature artist, so I'll spend some time at home. Once I'm settled I plan to find a part-time job nearby. I love to chat just as much as I love my down time and exploring the city. I would be looking to move as soon as possible. B.

Hi! I'm Dan, originally from Adelaide I moved to Brissy 1 year ago and i'm in the final year of my masters degree. I work part-time teaching first aid to pay the bills etc. I have a pretty laid back lifestyle and stopped partying long ago, but don't mind a couple of quiet drinks on occasion. Apart from that, I go to the gym religiously, meal prep once a week (so im not always hogging the kitchen!), I play guitar (but only at a reasonable volume and reasonable time), but am generally pretty busy with work, uni and other commitments. I've lived in a variety of housing situations before, from sharing to backpacking to renting my own rooms out, so I know what makes a space great to live in; consideration and mutual respect - so ideally am seeking housemates with similar qualities. Love a good chat but also equally enjoy privacy as I need it. Especially appreciate people who clean up after themselves :)
Hi guys. I'm moving to Brissy in February to start my first full time job, and seeking a place to lay my head. I'm a chill, responsible guy looking for either a private flat or a room in a shared flat/house with fun, sociable housemates. Ideally close to the CBD/Fortitude Valley area but I'm flexible. Cheers.
My name is Shan and I am a 22 year old student at QUT in Gardens Point. I also work as a marketing assistant part-time in Newstead. I just moved back to Australia after living abroad. I lived with other students so I have experience flatting with others.
Australian and French couple. Shelby works at a yoga studio and Felix is a Digital Designer. We are easy going and open minded, active (yoga, biking, skating, hiking, traveling), creative (art, photography, design), into music and gigs and also huge animal lovers. Very tidy and considerate, we are seeking for a veg house (preferably vegan) with nice housemates or keen to team up with other vegans to potentially start one.
This unit is in the highly regarded Eden Lane and Ivy Terraces by the ARIA Property Group only 2km from the CBD. The unit is only a few years old and has recently had a refresh. The unit has 2.7m ceilings, ducted air-conditioning, NBN internet and a modern kitchen with stainless steal appliances, stone benchtops and dishwasher. The lay-out is ideal for sharing with the bedrooms at opposite ends of the unit. There is a lovely balcony with city views. You would have your own room (with build-in-robe) and sole-use of the main bathroom. I’m flexible on common-area furnishings, so if you have some pieces you love you feel free to bring them along. I will otherwise provide furniture and white-goods (pictures are of the display furniture). Great amenities onsite or close by include: • Coles, coffee and retailers within 100m • Resort-style common areas complete with pool, BBQ pavilion and multiple entertaining terraces and lounges • Gym with ducted air and sound system • Free weekly PT sessions • Mater Hospitals, Queensland Children's Hospital and the PA Hospital are all in the vicinity • 250m to Gabba Stadium There is on-street parking around, however let me know if you are set on off-street and I can assist in helping you sub-let one from another resident. This is a safe place you can call home. If your party days are behind you and you’re after a tidy, friendly place this is for you!
Hey my name is Manon, And my mate Charlie and I are looking for a place to live. We are both full time students at QUT, with casual jobs on the side. We are both pretty chill and enjoy the occasional drink, but we tend to spend most of our days studying at uni so we like to come home and just relax. If you have 2 rooms available and we sound like your type of people, please feel free to send us a message. Thank you, Manon and Charlie :)
I’m looking for another female house mate to live with! I’m a very clean, tidy and happy person to be around! I’m all about that positivity. I’m very mindful and respectful of others so I don’t want to be living with someone who is still up at midnight as I work really long hours and get up early to go to the gym. I’m a very independent person and like my own space and routine, but am happy to have a chat! I’m hoping I can find someone with similar interests to me- I’m very mature for my age, not a party animal, honest and super easy to get along with. I rarely go out on the weekends as I’m focused more on my health and fitness, relaxing and cooking my meals for the week ahead. If I find the right housemate I’m always happy to go out for a wine at nice bars and become good friends 😌 My preferred area to live in would be Newstead. Please message me on here as I check it regularly!
Hey, my name is Lisa and I'm an exchange student from Germany. I've been living in Brisbane since July 2018 and I'm looking for a new home because I moved out to be able to travel over the summer months. I am very open-minded and clean, like to socialise, go to the beach but also enjoy my privacy. I would love to live with other (exchange) students and meet like-minded people. :)

I will be joining the PhD program at QUT where I will focus on smart cities, gender and social justice. This means that my weekdays are desk-intensive and my weekends are out&out-adventures. Ideally, a furnished room in the vicinity of the school would do the trick. Quirks and Foibles: •Chai is a daily ritual- it's my constant mission to perfect it. And there is the occasional cake I will bake and the curry I will try to make. •I love Splitwise... and making lists/infographics/charts and actioning them all out. I have been known to go on cleaning binges when generally guilting on life. •I walk EVERYWHERE...well, in this case, mostly to school and almost everywhere else---reasons include carbon footprint, understanding neighborhoods and staying local. •Adulting is hard and every comrade (incld. cats) counts. Gigs, climbs, poetry, meals, board games, hikes, beach, talks, Brooklyn 99, yoga, Handmaid's Tale--- I'd be up for it with lots of time-outs factored in.
Hi all. We have a spare room or 2 available in our share house. Have a read below and if it tickles your fancy shoot us a msg and come over for a looksee. The Room: 2 rooms available. 1 big room has a little veranda coming off it ($200) and 1 medium sized room ($175). both comes fully furnished, ready to go:) Room comes with the following: Queen bed Desk with chair Wardrobes Pillow and bed linen The House: OK so this house is gigantic and more of a palace than a regular house. Everything in it is huge. Huge door ways, stair case, and just generally wide open spaces for days… There are 2 separate bathrooms each with separate toilets, showers and baths both upstairs and down. The kitchen is… again big, so easily accommodates everyone in the house despite there being just 1. We have a nice outdoor chill area, complete with fairy lights, pool/table tennis table and comfy couches. Big back yard with lots of trees making it super lush – and lawn mowing is done on a regular basis to keep it looking fresh. There is also a big shed out the back to park your car undercover or you could even set up a home gym or studio in there as well ☺ Lastly the house is all furnished and has all the kitchen equipment, fridge space etc to make setting up after moving in easy. Parking: Heaps of off street parking, with a couple of spaces under cover as well encase you have a fancy car :D Location: The house is located on Carl St, Woollongabba – feel free to do some googling to see if this location works for you. Super handy location. Literally a 5 minuet walk from Buranda shopping centre which has a Woolworths, target + a million other food shops. Also a 5 min walk to the PA hospital and lots of bus stations close by going in every direction. Both Dutton Park and Buranda train stations are about a 10 min walk away. And all of this but still on a quite leafy street tucked away off the main roads. Easy Rent, Bond and Bills: ALL BILLS INC IN RENT! This includes power, gas, water and unlimited internet. Bond is 4 x rent. If you can’t come up with the 4 weeks bond straight away I miiiiight be able to accept 2 weeks to start with however I will make that call once I meet you. Other things you should know ☺ No pets sorry No strict house rules… just the obvious stuff like clean up after yourself, be respectful to others, and do your fair share of house work. We get a cleaner in around every month to give the house a good once over and as mentioned above we also get the lawns mowed which is all included in the rent. Who we are looking for… Keen on getting someone in who can pay rent on time (obviously) and knows how to clean up after themselves. Basically just someone who is respectful and has their shit together and drama free. Couples: Happy to accept couples. Please note rent will be $30 extra though.
I'm a considerate and reliable person looking to move into a share house with like minded people. I enjoy cooking and having a drink in my spare time. I'd love to find a place where we can hang out together but are also respectful of each others space.
Hello i’m Korean. i'm outgoing and I'm good with people. i'm looking for a room to stay with my friend. I have no pet and I will clean my room. I am going to live 4 months and my friend is going to live 6 months.
This fabulous Queenslander home is newly renovated close to Universities, colleges and 2km from the city centre. 3 large bedrooms very clean, tastefully, fully furnished, close to public transport being buses to the city and Southbank 1 minute away. Cafes and restaurants are also 1 minute away. Buranda railway station and bus station is a 5 minute walk. PA hospital, Mater hospital, Lady Cilento childrens hospital and Greenslopes hospital are all a short distance away. There is a large kitchen with full facilities and large deck area with city views. There is 2 toilets in the home one in the main bathroom + 1 separate toilet. The deck area is a great place to sit, chat, share a cuppa, read a book, or work on a laptop. The property is 2km from the city centre. We are close to Shaftston College, QUT Gardens Point, University of Qld and yes the city centre. The home is spotlessly clean. We are looking for 1 more female student or young professional adult to fill this newly renovated, clean property. The 3 rooms are occupied by females only. Warm regards, Ross.
Ducted air conditioning, dishwasher, close to park road station, built-in wardrobes, 2 large decks, no maintenance! FYI the pictures do not show the current furniture. The rooms available are Bedroom 1 for $200 or Bedroom 2 for $170. All have built in wardrobes and all fit a double bed and desk. This place is a renter's dream. It's a beautiful, airy Queenslander-style house. We will rent only the top half of the house, which is completely private and separate from the bottom half. The area shown in the stairwell can be used as a storage space/laundry area. The house is a two minute walk to Park road/Boggo Road station and extremely easy to get to the CBD. It has everything you need, great places to hang out and low-maintenance. There is a lot of street parking but you will need a parking permit (I can help you arrange this). Bills and internet are not included in the rental price. I have a few items of furniture but you are welcome to bring your own. Otherwise I'm willing to get the big ticket items i.e. the fridge/washing machine and we can all contribute to furnishing the house. You should be a friendly student/young professional with a solid rental history. I'm looking for people that are up for a chat and interested in creating a home not a house. Advertised elsewhere.
Canadian looking to setup shop in Brisbane for a while. Actively looking for work in Brisbane as well. I'm a social person and always up for anything fun. Clean, tidy, and respectful of people's personal space.
