Firstly I have a 10 year old cat who has been de-sexed, micro-chipped and is up to date with all vaccinations, etc. If you are not a cat lover I'm probably not your ideal housemate. Also if you are renting the house and the real estate or owner do not allow a cat then please don't contact me. I have had a few contact me that think a cat can be hidden from the real estate/owner however, I am not the type to lie and then be put in the position of having to move again at short notice. I like to keep my home and myself clean and tidy but not to the point where it makes other in the house feel uncomfortable. I work Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.30 pm in the Financial Planning and Accounting profession in a Quality Assurance and Advice Coaching role. I love my career so no fear of me leaving there or not being able to meet my financial obligations. That said if Electricity bills go higher than usual in the hotter or colder months, due to running air conditioners or heaters, and the rent quoted included bills let’s have a discussion and work out a fair distribution of the bills. I feel this is preferable to you being worried about being out of pocket and me feeling like I cannot turn on the air con or heater when needed. I am generally pretty quiet during the week but may have friends over on the weekend for a social drink and a catch up occasionally. I do not smoke nor do drugs and generally only have a few drinks on weekends unless there is a special occasion to celebrate. Generally I study something new over winters to keep ahead at work. This leaves summer weekends free for going to the beach. I have recently completed my first ever half Tough Mudder and have signed up for the full Tough Mudder for next year. I own and ride a motorbike but am certainly no big tough Bikie. I also own the following furniture/home contents: - all of the kitchen stuff you could imagine - 1 x 3 and 1 x 1 seater recliner lounge - 7 piece dining suite - entertainment unit - clothes dryer - fridge - all of my bedroom furniture I am happy to keep and share (kitchen, dining and lounge items), store (if there is room) or sell depending on the housemate and house found. I also have a bit of camping gear so a little space in a garage for storage needed for that and my bike. Ideally I would like to share with someone (or two) aged between 40 to 50 years of age, loves cats, has a bit of space to spare and has a non-conflicting morning bathroom requirements (unless not sharing a bathroom). We've recently sold our house at Victoria Point, and are looking for short to medium term accommodation while we search for rural property to purchase. We have our own 6 berth caravan, which would be parked onsite, and provide an beds for the family. I'm self-employed, running an Insulation Contracting company based at Capalaba, and my wife works a few days a week at Cleveland in the disability sector. The eldest son, Brandon, works at Chisholm College, Riordan is studying computer science at QUT, and works part time at Sirromet. The eldest daughter, Tiarnay, is in her final year at Carmel College, and works part time at Bounce. The youngest daughter, Makayla, is in year 10 at Carmel. We have a pet dog, named Bailey, who all agree, is a sweetie. We're very quiet people, and I am a handyman, able to repair or construct almost anything, who would be willing to help with maintenance or repairs.

We provide unlimited internet access, with furnishing optional. We also plan to install ceiling fans in each room. A bus stop that goes straight to the CBD is literally in front of the house. A shopping mall is also only a few hundred metres away. We have 3 rooms available, 2 of which are single rooms with shared bathrooms. The third room is a granny-flat type room with ensuite bathroom and its own kitchen and fridge. The property is spacious with a big back yard as well.
