This unit is located in an older style apartment complex in Burnley. However, the kitchen and bathroom are very modern as they have been renovated within the last two years. The unit is fully furnished. It contains two bedrooms, a large kitchen, dining and lounging area, a bathroom and a separate toilet. The bathroom contains a washing machine and dryer. I am hoping to rent out Bedroom 1 between Saturday the 26th of May until Saturday the 21st of July. It contains a queen bed, desk, office chair, drying rack, large cupboard, bedside table and a storage unit. The unit is located as little as 100m from the Burnley station and trains run very frequently. It takes approximately eight minutes to get from the Burnley station into Flinders street station. It is in walking distance of various cafes (Serotonin Eatery, Friends of Mine, Jethro Canteen, Brother Burnley, Penny House etc), restaurants, pubs, parks and shopping centres. The unit has no heating or air conditioning, however, as it has concrete walls it doesn't get too warm inside. I have a portable noirot panel heater. The rent is $260p/w. Your share of unlimited internet is $30 p/m. You don't have to worry about paying any electricity, gas or water bills, however, I expect a three week bond and one weeks rent in advance! The potential occupant will only need to bring their clothes, food and linen. If you have any additional queries please don't hesitate to contact me via message. I am more than happy to show you through the unit at a time that is convenient for both of us. Kind regards, Chelsie
Hello all, I am looking to sublet my 2nd double bedroom to someone who will love the space just as much as I do! Located in Richmond, the single-fronted Victorian house is bright, freshly painted, newly furnished, and has a small west-facing courtyard. My wee tabby cat Layla also lives here. DETAILS: Rent = $1278.30/month | $295/week Bills = split evenly as and when Deposit = 6 weeks rent Available = March (date is flexible) YOUSELF: Female Full-time professional No couples Cat lover The room comes with a double mattress and bed base (I also have bedding if you need it), but is otherwise unfurnished and up to your taste and needs. There is a magnificent fully-restored marble fireplace (though not operational) with newly built-in wardrobes either side. The window gets afternoon sun and overlooks the courtyard. The room has new carpet and has been freshly painted white. There's also a TV outlet in the room should you want to have a TV, as there isn't one in the living room. There is street permit parking which can be organised through the local council (it’s roughly $70/year). I work some pretty long hours, so ideally it would be great to live with someone who is also working and on the same wave length. All in all I’m looking for someone who values a peaceful and happy home, and who will appreciate and maintain the space equally with me. This totally comes down to personal energy, so the best thing do to would be to come around for a cup of tea and we go from there. I look forward to hearing from you with questions or to come see the house. Kindest Stephanie

A bed is available for a girl in Richmond - it's a room share for two people, so it each bed is $155. The bed is available for short or long term (minimum 12 weeks - non-negotiable). You will be sharing your room with Lara, an Argentinean on her mid-20s who is in her working holiday visa. About me: I'm Brazilian and have been in Melbourne for 6 years now. I work a lot and enjoy to be at home when I have a free time. Sharing meals and have a drink with my flatmates is always well appreciated. :) A student would be perfect fit for the our place, once we all can share experiences about our learnings and adventures. The location is the sweetest possible - tram 70 is just 2 min away and Burnley station 5 min. You can also choose to walk 8 minutes to Bridge rd, where you can get trams 48 and 75. There are cafes and restaurants close by, Melb uni Burnley campus is just a couple of tram stops away (you can easily walk til there!) and Swinburne uni is two train stations away - if you ride a bike, it will take you 20min to get there. The apartment is super illuminated and with plenty of windows, as well as fully furnished - you just need to bring your bags and move in! If you have a car, there is no problem - there's a car park in the building. The rent includes all bills - electricity, water and unlimited internet. Bond: 3 weeks. Minimum stay: 3 months - you just need to give me 2 weeks notice before you leave. Talk to you soon :)
One unfurnished room available to rent for SINGLE OCCUPANT in a spacious house sharing with 2 other flatmates. Room available from 4 March. Good sized room with plenty of storage and balcony. The room is $245 per week with wifi-internet and utilities in addition split between all housemates (additional costs estimated $20 per week per person). Ideal location in Richmond - 2mins walk to Friends of Mine - 7mins walk to Burnley train station - 2mins walk from #70 tram stop - Walking distance to Swan St shops and Bridge Road Room is unfurnished. Remainder of house is partly furnished with a large living and dining area downstairs. Existing appliances to share include fridge and dishwasher. Happy to recruit flatmates with a sofa, TV and washing machine otherwise we'll invest to fill the gaps!
What's great: the location is amazing, the house is amazing (for inner city living the house is humongous), easy access to public transport, cafes, restaurants, pubs and the MCG. The house has a massive kitchen, lounge and dinning area, ducted heating, and a sunny courtyard with a BBQ. The bedroom is huge, and comes with an en suite, built in wardrobes and its own balcony. The bedroom is unfurnished but the rest of the house is mostly furnished. The house comes with one off street park and there is plenty of street parking (parking permits are required). The bedroom is unfurnished while the rest of the house is mostly furnished. Considering the street is in the middle of Richmond it is nice and quiet, and has a very friendly vibe.
The house is a lovely old Victorian (1920s) home situated in a quiet neighbourhood in Burnley. It's not the most modern of houses, but it definitely has character: wooden floorboards throughout the house, ornamental fireplaces in the bedrooms, as well as in the living area, red bricks in the backyard, quirky bathroom with plenty of storage space. The kitchen itself is super spacious as well. There's a big countertop that goes across one side of the kitchen - perfect for making pizzas! The living area gets plenty of natural light and sunshine with an east facing window; just perfect with your morning coffee. And in the summertime, move out unto the patio overlooking the backyard. The backyard is a work in progress. Doing our best to maintain the garden, and keep the plants alive. This is a great project to take on if you have a green thumb. :) Train station / Tram stop is a 5 mins walk away. There's several parks nearby, the closest one is 100m from the house. The bike trail along the Yarra is super accessible about 150m away. Swan St/Bridge Rd is still very easy to get to, but you get the comforts of living in a very friendly, and quite neighbourhood away for all the hustle and bustle. Furniture situation: The photos show the current furnishing (after my flatmate moved out - he had most of the furniture!) We are missing mainly a coffee table, outdoor set and washing machine, so if you have any of these, that would be handy. Otherwise, more than happy to furnish them too. And you're more than welcome to bring your own stuff of course! The bedroom can come with a queen size bed - seen in photo. It's only a few months old, bought in late November (all new), and used for only a month. If you need one - happy to sell this to you.
Looking for someone to take over the reminder of our lease. Remainder of lease: 24th March - 24th June with option to extend. Perfect modern apartment for a couple. The Space The apartment is a two bedroom. The first bedroom is large with lots of space for a queen bed and two bedside tables. This room also has a large walk-in wardrobe that leads to the bathroom. The second bedroom is small, however still with Its wardrobe. The second bedroom has a sliding door and does not have any windows. The fridge and a dishwashing drawer are included in the kitchen area. There is a split system aircon in the lounge area. The balcony area is unusually large for the area with both uncovered/covered areas- perfect for entertaining. It is a small apartment building with only 20 other apartments. The apartment comes with one car space in a locked garage. The Area The apartment is located a 5 min walk from Burnley railway station. It is also a 10 min walk to either Bridge Rd and Swan St, with lots of parks nearby.
Firstly, location is incredible and convenient. There is a tram stop (route 70) about 30m away from the house that goes straight into the city. You also have 2 train stations (Burnley and Richmond) within 10 min walking distances. There are unique offerings with cafes, restaurants and pubs close by for a bite to eat, and a farmers market that is a 10 min walk away on a Saturday morning. [Photos to come] The property is quite large with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, courtyard with a herb garden and undercover garage. You can quickly see why it is only 5-6 years old with all the little modern touches inside such as futuristic light switches and air cons in every room. The massive kitchen opens up onto the lounge room which creates the perfect environment to relax when you get home from work. Internet ($15/month/person) and Utility bills ($60/month/person) are additional. The bedroom available is the big master with ensuite bathroom and private balcony. A great secluded space for any couple to suit their lifestyle. As mentioned above, the underground garage will come with one available spot for the new housemates.
Beautiful 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom home in the heart of Richmond, with city views from the balcony. Very light and spacious with modern appliances throughout. Comfortable living area which you are welcome to make your own. Heating and air-con in both living area and bedrooms. House is split over two floors allowing you to get plenty of space. There is also a garage and parking space. Very quiet location but close to all amenities on Swan Street and Bridge Road including trams, Burnley train station, Burnley Park and the Yarra all within a 5 minute walk.
Hi :) We have 1 small room and 1 large room available with a single bed and a big closet. The house has two living rooms, with a spacious kitchen and a huge backyard. The house is located in Richmond five mins walk to trams 48, 75 and 70 (15 mins to city) and 12 mins walk to Burnley train station (10 mins to city). The rent would be 170 per week for the small room and 230 pw for the large room. Rent includes unlimited internet and bills except for electricity. We are looking for easy going and sociable people who contribute in a positive way to the house. In general, we like people to feel cozzy at home, no crazy rules in the house. We just expect the general manners (cleaning after yourself or your friends and be respectful to others in the house). In the house we have a dog, he is well-obedient and trained. We have a structured way to socialize with him and we want somebody that respects and follows that structure. People who get over-excited or treat dogs like kids, please don't apply Long-term stay (3 months min)
Three bedroom house with two indoor living areas, a dining area and main bathroom shared with one other person. There's a good sized yard including an undercover area that will have seating where we imagine sitting around on a nice summers day with a few drinks, a bbq and friends. Set back off Coppin Street means it's quiet and private with trees around the property for shade in summer. Washer and dryer in the bathroom. Parking permit is available by application from City of Yarra and secure bicycle storage. Optus cable internet. House is mostly furnished and kitchen is fully equipped. AC to the main rooms but not this specific bedroom however the house has stayed quite cool in the heat so far. Smokers welcome but absolutely not inside... smoking outside only. Room is for one person only, no couples sorry. Please note that the bond is actually $1901 per person. Total bond for the property was $5,703.

Hey all. After sharing for a long time I have kindof realised what works. So basically looking for a fulltime working professional who enjoys having a clean and tidy home. Someone who is easygoing, like me and around the same age, although not fussed about that too much. But someone that likes to keep busy, and has a social life outside the house but doesnt mind having a dinner at home or sharing a wine. This isnt a party house, but its good to keep it social. Someone who enjoys the good things in life...such as pets. Ideal if you had a dog or cat too. The house - 2bedroom duplex house, light and bright with big backyard. Kitchen has breakfast bench; Lounge area with reverse aircon and heating. Shared bathroom with tub and high pressure shower. separate toilet and laundry. The bedroom has built in double mirrored wardrobes, easily fit a Queen bed and bedside drawers etc. as shown in pictures. The house is fully furnished, the bedroom can be either furnished with bed and drawers or empty - up to you. The location is absolutely perfect. 10minute walk to the train; 4 minute walk to the tram. Plenty of street parking or tandem parking in the driveway. Bills are included in rent. Price is $320 per week. Also, quick question... if you had to choose only 1 of the following which would it be??? 1. unlimited free TV of any channel 2. unlimited size garden and backyard & indoor plants of any type or 3. Unlimited number of pets of any type. 4. Or suggest something else. which would you choose??
Pretty chilled out, as long as you respect me we will get along fiiiiine. 20 year old, country town gal (NSW), studying Marketing/Graphic Design at ACU. I am working at a bookstore in my spare time, and when I am not at uni/work there is a good chance I am at home. I just want to emphasise now that I am not looking for a party house (or someone who smokes bc I have been blessed with the lungs of a fish out of water). So if this is you, I wish you the best but it's a no from me today. I enjoy reading, art and graphic design - and of course a good Netflix binge when feelin' a little stressed. Love a good laugh and good coffee (probably too much). Just looking for someone who cleans without having to be 'asked' and isn't a reflection of my last roomies *cries*. I've had fairly horrible experiences in the past with bad roommates, so if you know you are that person please cut all ties with me now! I would appreciate someone who cleans up their shiz, respects their space. If you've read this far and I haven't scared you off, hit me up! I swear I am not an annoying person, just sick of people who don't/won't do their part and make living in Melbourne hell for me 💕
I'm a recent Uni graduate (bachelor of Arts, specialising in fashion) looking to move to Melbourne for better opportunities. My plan is to move, find work doing whatever at first and then go up the career ladder in my own field when opportunity allows. I'm tolerant of other cultures, lifestyles, etc. I mind my own business normally. I'm pretty quiet, I don't drink to excess, I have never smoked and never taken illegal drugs. All I ask for is a room, bed, wardrobe, drawers and somewhere to put my computer. I would prefer a private room in an existing share house. I will consider room sharing but only if the place is VERY CLOSE to the CBD or in it. Sorry, not interested in teamups. I would rather live with people of similar age but age isn't necessarily a dealbreaker. Dealbreakers: - smoker who smokes inside - illegal drug use - intolerant / nasty
Moving back to Melbourne after 2 years in Sydney to take up a new full time role in the medical education field. I am a social person and love to head out for a beer at the local pub, or for lunch/dinner anywhere new. Love meeting new people, can be quiet at first but warm up to people pretty fast. Looking for housemates that like to chat while cooking meals, perhaps hit up a pub trivia session once in a while or have an afternoon of beer drinking on the weekend. I'm not new to Melbourne have lived there many times and in a variety of suburbs. Have lived in many share houses throughout my life in my home town; Warrnambool, Melbourne, London and Sydney. I know how to treat a house and my flatmates with respect and hope to find others who are the same. I have a 2 gorgeous 12 month old black cats named shadow and lunar they are both pretty smoochy and are toilet trained. Whom I would like to bring with me. I'd be happy to meet a few peeps and create a new share house together. I have a whole house of furniture and would be happy share whatever is needed in a share house situation otherwise I can store the items elsewhere.
Hey legends! I've been in this amazing country since almost 1.5 years now and am pursuing a masters in sports management. I have been living on campus (at Deakin) since my arrival in Australia and am now looking for something different. I am easy going, clean and respect everyone's privacy and personal space. I am an extrovert, absolutely love sport (squash, AFL, soccer, tennis and cricket are right up there), try staying fit, enjoy exploring and travelling, massive foodie and would always be down for cracking a frothy. (If you're still reading I reckon I'm hitting the right notes hey) I'm an atheist (if you care) and have a pretty chill opinion about most things (unless you're rooting for a rival team in sport - kidding). I enjoy the idea of living with people from different cultures and nationalities and it would be an understatement to suggest I've tried immersing myself in the Australian culture since my arrival :) I'm looking for places 'in and around Hawthorn' (Glenferrie, Auburn, Burnley, Kew, Richmond) as I want to stay at a reasonable distance from CBD and Uni (in Burwood) so hit me up if you have a studio apartment or shared apartment (with not more than 5 members). Cheers! P.S: I'm not a big fan of living with children, so I'll politely pass an offer if you have a kid. Thanks.
