I am a friendly academic/nerd. I am usually a clean and quiet person, and am happy to do my own thing but I also like to socialize once in a while. I am into research, reading, traveling, photography, live music, and bush walking.
Hi there, I'm an Edward! My landlord is selling the flat that I'm currently living in, and I have to move. I enjoy reading about electronics, programming, and 1980s Role Playing Games (the ones with the dice and maps, like Dungeons and Dragons & Call of Cthulhu). I spend a few days a week at my partner's place, and a few days a week at my place, wherever that ends up being. She works from home, and has some cats to pander to, it's unlikely she'll need to stay over. I don't drive, so I'm looking for somewhere close to a train station, or a tram/bus stop that is a maximum of maybe 10-15 minutes to a train station. Am looking somewhere in Ringwood or Box Hill or in between. Due to work requirements, anything further out than Ringwood station is probably too far out, as I have to commute to Carlton a few days a week. I like keeping things harmonious in a household; particularly adhering to cleaning rosters and looking after my own dishes. I love books, but keep the explosion of books to my room. I have no trouble keeping up with bills, and payments to a house kitty for communal cleaning supplies. I have my own microwave. It's very nice. I enjoy listening to music; I play synths/keyboards, but keep it pretty quiet - I value my hearing, and don't like to disturb others. I'm not a party guy, but I don't mind when housemates have their friends over. Once in a while I might have friends over for some board games. I don't have any pets, and I am a non smoker, and cannot live with anyone who smokes inside due to asthma, but would prefer to live non smokers. I don't mind living with quiet birds/parrots, cats that aren't too needy, but not dogs.
Born and raised in Australia, Easy to get a long with, usually quiet and keep to myself but am friendly and polite when there is a conversation to be had. I like to be neat and tidy in my own area and do clean up after myself. I also do work full time as a tradesman, as well as play and coach football so I will rarely be home. I also don't mind every now and then to head in to town for a bit of fun, but not too regularly! Also don't mind a board game or two ☺
Hello I am Angela I am 25 years old I am Colombian I am a general doctor in my country, I came here to Melbourne to study English, interact with people from other cultures, visit places, and maybe work in a different area than the one I work in my country. I am a calm person, relaxed, friendly, kind, respectful, responsible, I am a little shy at the beginning but when I am in confidence I am not so much anymore, in my spare time I like to listen to music, I like to read, practice sports, go out to walk to a park, I like to watch movies, go out to dinner, go out for coffee, some beers or a glass of wine, occasionally go out to a party, I like pets, respect the privacy of others as well as my My partner respects mine, I do not like smoking or very noisy environments.
Hospitality manager here, who appreciates a clean house. I'm fairly quiet, unobtrusive kinda guy who can get around a movie marathon or house dinner. I am always punctual with rent and other bills, usually the one organising such things in the household, along with cleaning schedules. I like to read, play video games, binge Netflix and I cook pretty well. I like dogs, but don't own one. Move date is completely flexible. I own a household worth of furniture and kitchenware, so you needn't worry about bringing much to the table :)
We are young, cheerful, and lively kind of people. Love to be tidy, polite and don't mess up things. We are Indian and love to cook Indian cuisines on holidays. I don't think so that any of our housemates can have any issues with us regarding any thing. Paying bills and rent on time is our major concern.
Hi all! 25 year old Deakin student looking for a nice place to call home for 12 months min! Looking around Blackburn, Box Hill, pretty much all along the Lilydale train line and near Deakins Burwood campus. Budget around $180 a week, somewhat flexible. Move in date also flexible, but I will need to have a place to move in by June 28. Currently studying but over the summer period I work in natural resource management. I'm friendly and fun, but also can appreciate peoples need for privacy etc, (been share-housing for 5 years now, so I know how it all works!) Quite clean and tidy, I'm not big on mess and clutter. I love a good beer (or a crap beer.... any beer really), a good chat and I pay my rent on time. Feel free to shoot my any questions, and I can provide references on request. Would love to start meeting potential new housemates!
Hi there potential landlords or housemates, I'm a female, 37 year old (young at heart) friendly and clean. I am a great housemate/tenant because I can adapt to any situation and place pretty easily without complaints or stress! I want my future house to be a home not just accomodation! I want it to be my sanctuary where I feel safe and peaceful. I don't mind what age you are or what you do. I respect ones privacy and also am happy to socialise or have a chat every now and then.. I also need privacy lol. I'm honest and direct. I prefer to sort out any problems immediately and believe trust and honesty would be very crucial if a sharehouse is to run smoothly and harmoniously. I'm a homebody and huge dog lover!! I have a small/medium female dog whose 15mths old and loves people and attention, she's quite cheeky.. friendly towards humans generally to other dogs however she's been attacked a couple of times and can get protective of herself hence quickly when playing too roughly. She plays with bigger dogs better too. She is well taken care of and I clean up after her. I'd like a big backyard, more space the better (No townhouses or units unless it's a whole property for myself to rent) My own bathroom only will consider shared bathroom if used rarely by other housemate Large house if sharing WOULD REALLY LOVE MY OWN PLACE HOUSE OR GRANNY FLAT/STUDIO/BUNGALOW!! IF ANYONE IS RENTING A PROPERTY OR ROOMS WITH MY DESCRIPTION PLS CONTACT ME.. ALSO LIKE NO OTHER PETS PREFERABLY AS DONT KNOW IF MY DOG IS UP FOR THAT YET.. Cheers 🙂
I've recently relocated to Melbourne from Darwin NT. I've been a finance & mortgage broker for past 4 years, Prior to this, I've been self employed, running my own landscaping business in NT. Originally from country NSW, farming and agriculture background. I enjoy outdoors, exercising, cycling, water skiing. I'm clean, non-smoker, trustworthy, talk to anybody, love to have a laugh. Enjoy cooking,
Hey guys! Currently putting the feelers out for a new place to live! I'm originally from country New South Wales, having moved to Melbourne in May 2016 to chase some bigger career opportunities. I currently work in the health industry and am thinking about going back to study, not entirely sure yet! I'm a very laid back guy, not much phases me. I enjoy the footy, adventuring and exploring my new surroundings, reading, the occasional netflix binge, gaming, gymming, and hitting the town for a drink or fourteen. My work schedule is Sunday to Thursday at this stage, just your standard 9 to 5 deal. Flick me a message if you would like to know more or to organise a catch up! Cheers! Ryan.
I enjoy an active lifestyle and work 3 jobs (my main one is as a Marketing Coordinator, and the other two are just fun ones - at a local bakery and at a dog daycare centre), so am not home a whole lot. When I am home, I enjoy retreating to my own space, but am equally happy to hang out or chat. I consider myself to be easy going, down to earth and friendly :) You won't need to worry about me making much noise, or not cleaning up either, as I'm very respectful and tidy! Hope to hear from you soon :)
Hi! My name is Emma. I'm 26 years old and I'm a High School English Teacher looking for a team up. I've got permanent employment, basically an entire houses' worth of furniture, so all you'd need to bring is things for your own room (and maybe a dining table - thats the one thing I don't have) A little bit more about me: I am an introvert, though I am working on pushing myself outside of my comfort zone. I'm a massive nerd, and I have the following consoles which I am happy to share: SNES, WiiU, Switch, Xbox 360. Plus I am looking to get a Wii to play my extensive collection of Gamecube games and a PS4 to play the games I have of those too. I have a lot of books, and enjoy reading. My other hobbies include board games, table top games (DnD and the like), Movies and TV. I also have a pet cat, who's name is Snooker. She's a 4 year old Domestic Short Hair, all black with a little white splash. She loves napping, eating, and being petted then smacking your arm away for little to no reason. She's quite a social, vocal cat. You can pick her up, but she won't always like that, and you'll be covered in black fur if you do. I would be commuting to Macleod every day, leaving nice and early in the morning (7am) and not returning until the evening (past 5:30pm) so I will need somewhere to park my car. I won't be ready to move until school holidays which is starting from the 30th of June, so we would have lots of time to get to know each other. My ideal housemate is someone who is nice, clean, with stable employment too. I wouldn't mind someone I click with as friends and can hang out with occasionally, though would also be ok with doing their own things at times. I don't mind about gender, provided you're a decent, kind person. LGTBTI+ very welcome to message too! I enjoy cooking, mostly breakfast foods. I do like meal planning my week, but I wouldn't mind someone who would like to share meals from time to time. I'm also partial to the occasional drink, though I wouldn't like living with someone who wants to have people constantly over and for parties. That's just not me. I'm more of a low-key hangout person, and I'd like someone who's similar in that respect. People who enjoy bad puns would be more than welcome. If you don't enjoy bad puns and lame jokes... I might not be the house mate for you.
I'm a 24-year-old moving from Adelaide to complete my Masters of OT at Swinburne Uni. I am easy going and like to spend my time exercising (walking, swimming, gym, yoga), cooking and getting outdoors. I am a social person and would enjoy heading out occasionally but also love staying in for a home-cooked meal with a movie or board games. My personal time is equally as important to me and I am assuming I'll be studying majority of nights. I am a respectful and clean person looking for housemates with similar interests and keen to make friends.
Currently working as an AV technician at various venues/theatres around Melbourne. Easy to get along, enjoys the occasional Netflix binge and partakes in the 48 hour film competition each year.
I am clean, tidy, relaxed, respectful and outgoing! An international student finishing up her Master's course and am keen on staying in Melbourne for work. I am not much of a party go-er but do enjoy staying quiet nights in when I am not at school or the gym.
My name is Amanda, and I am looking to move out with my sister Chantelle. I am studying a PhD at La Trobe University and work full time as a scientist. My sister is studying Writing and Editing at RMIT in the city and works a part-time job. We are clean, organised and friendly. I have a beautiful border collie named Ren, he is trained as both an inside and outside dog and would make a lovely addition to the household (see profile photo). It is also easy to teach him new tricks. Both my sister and I are gamers and watch anime, so having internet is pretty essential, as well as for our studies. We look forward to hearing from you.
I work full time in Port Melbourne as a dental technician, and looking to move out of my current apartment in May/June. I would love to find someone like-minded to move into a place with 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. I would want the ensuite I like my own space but don't mind hanging out and watching a movie or going out for dinner. Ideally we would find a new place together and sign up a new lease. Pretty much happy with anywhere within 8km of the city
Hey guys, my name is Kimberley and I'm interested in joining someone on a lease to get an apartment! I have eyes on a few apartments, hit me up if you're interested in that! I'm a full-time computer science student, part-time pool lifeguard. (If you ever need cpr, I got yo back) I enjoy cooking, binge watching new tv series and making new friends. I am very self-aware and pick up after myself. I can be your friend or simply just your housemate. All I ask is that we could be friendly faces around the house and not having to be hesitant when leaving the room. Although having a friend to go for brunch with sounds awesome, I can total respect your wishes! :) Also, I am looking to live with someone who is okay with my bf staying over part of the week as we alternate places. We are likeminded people so definitely no drama there. :)
Down to earth kiwi girl who is clean and has a bubbly attitude towards life. I like to keep fit in healthy but do enjoy a wine or two now in then . I’m not a party person as such but don’t mind cheese in wine nights with friends now in then . Would like to live with someone similar works full time and likes to keep the place clean .
Hi, I’m Nicola and Im currently looking for a room to rent long term in the inner eastern suburbs. Apart from a short stint living in the south of France I have always lived in the area. Im currently taking a break from career work in Human Resources and have a more leisurely lifestyle. I mixed between being at the house beating to along day trips during the week. My weekends look much the same. Im a very relaxed person who rarely complains. I like to find harmony in the house and it’s dynamics's. Living with relaxed and friendly people it very important to me. If you have any further question please don’t hesitate to ask. Thanks Nicola .
Hi, my name is Julian. I work full time with Olinda Springs in Rowville (mon-fri) and on weekends I work from home with the hotels I have in Florence Italy. I moved from florence 5 years ago and live here for good now. Looks like all I do is work but in fact it's not, I play soccer every week, go to the gym at least 3 times a week, like to explore the city, new places, cafe, reastaurants, wineries, hotsprings etc.. I like to do some trips during the year like Byron Bay especially, and overseas for a month, mainly Florence every year as my whole Family lives there. I am a very entreprenour minded person and obsessed with trying to improve all the time, I have finished two Universities of Architecture, one in Izmir Turkey and one in Florence Italy and recently finished a Real Estate Course here in Melbourne. Super easy to get along with, experienced in living with others and I believe theres something to learn from everyone so definitely enjoy interesting coversations over a glass of wine, coffee, lunch, dinner whatever and wherever. I am a father of two beautiful girls 4.5 and 2.5 yo, they mean the world to me but at the moment they live with their mother in Byron Bay (if you think I hate my ex-wife, you're wrong) and the reason I travel there often is to see and spend some time with my beautiful daughters. Looking forward to meet and team up with like-minded people and hope that a healthy togetherness will bring some power. Cheers, Julian
Hi :) I'm an English girl with PR who has lived in Melbourne for 8 years. I have my own Lifestyle Management business so I am always pretty busy. I work a couple of days a week at home and the rest of the time I'm in and out of the house throughout day. I sometimes work late finishing around 9pm and the occasional weekend. I'm a sociable but private person. When I'm not out with friends I enjoy my alone time and would probably not suit a crazy party house or a house where people want to hang out every night. Having said that if we become friends that would be an added bonus. I'm extremely clean and quite tidy. I don't mind if the people I live with are messy but I can't stand dirt. Please note, I have a pet cat. She is very sweet and low maintenance. The worst thing she does is ask for pats.
