Hey everyone, I’m looking for a room near Hawthorn- flexible with length of stay/suburbs/move date, and open to teamups. :) I don't really mind who you are or what things you like doing, the only traits i'm really looking for are people who are laidback, open-minded and considerate of personal boundaries like privacy and comfort zones- if we get along well, nothing else is a concern for me. ...and punctuality with rent/housekeeping, but I suppose that's a given. 😌 I'd like to establish a cosy home atmosphere where everyone can feel genuinely "at home" and not just staying somewhere, and where there's no constant pressure to socialize but the opportunity is always there- it'd be great to live with people who can give you space but also have a good chat with. I love doing things that involve film, music, games and outings such as live events- and especially love it when there's other people to do it with, so flatmates who'd like to do those things are a bonus. If those things aren't really your cup of tea, i'm also open to new things and don't really drag people into my personal hobbies anyway. I don't care if you're alternative, sporty, artsy, introvert or extrovert, it's all totally fine- anyone that's kind and open-minded is good in my books. :) If you think we might get along, send me a message so we can chat- and possibly make plans if we do get along well. :) (Oh, if you're worried about my age and capacity for living independently- i've already adjusted to adult life so i'm fine in that regard, not a big spender. I also have an excellent rental history that I can provide references for upon request.)
We're a friendly couple who loves to have laid back weekends to unwind for the coming week. Kuven's a musician and Monisha loves cooking. Having a clean and tidy home environment is very important to us.
*Sorry if I am slow in replying, I'm absolutely swamped with emails from Flatmates!* Hi everyone! My name is Reece. I moved to Victoria two years ago, coming here from the Gold Coast to work and study (I completed my studies, for now, last year). I spent a year with relatives and the last year with a friend from work, but the time has come for me to move on! My goal is to find a share house with people nearer my own age. Who am I? Up until recently, my life was dominated by sport, but after playing cricket for 15 years in a row, I decided a few months ago that it's time for a break! I still love the game and might play again in the future, but for now I'm loving having free time on my weekends! I'm still surrounded by cricket, because I work in a cricket store, and also do some coaching. I actually want to explore other things and try new hobbies, such as volunteering and maybe furthering my studies at uni. Away from sport, I'm a bit of a geek. I play old computer games, reading (often about history) and love Game of Thrones. I prefer to spend most of my nights in when I'm not working (and I often work nights). I'm really not a party animal, and don't really drink other than the occaisional beer or red wine, which I've developed a bit of a taste for since moving down here. I'm pretty laid back, I reckon. I like time to myself, spending a lot of time on my laptop or watching TV, but would love to make friends out of my new house mates since I still don't know too many people down here. I'm more than happy to spend an hour or two chatting or just generally hanging out at the end of a day, and I'm keen to share the odd TV show or movie too. I think I'd be pretty flexible depending on what you're looking for. I see myself as kind, honest and just generally friendly. I'm respectful of privacy, personal spaces and relationships. I want to live with people who are similar - tidy and a bit docile. :P I can cook half a dozen different things and would be open to sharing a cooking load - if not, I'm all good to take care of myself. I'm clean, and I'm not at all afraid of scrubbing a pot, or a toilet. I would feel most comfortable with people who have a bit of share house experience and who can tolerate my lack of knowledge on some things (it's pretty straightforward though, right?). I currently live, work and go to a gym in the Ringwood area, but I don't mind commuting so I've got a wide search area. I am planning on travelling to Europe next year (around April-May) so 6 months would be a minimum stay. Depending on finances, I may move home to Queensland at that time, but otherwise I would like to stay in Victoria indefinitely. Somewhere with some storage space would be great. I have some stuff I've accumulated like a bike, cricket gear, golf clubs and stuff which I'd ideally not have to store in my room (depending on the size or cupboard space, I suppose). I don't own a bed but I'm happy to purchase one. I do have a TV, though (priorities!). Lastly, I am currently single, don't smoke, and have no pets (but I'm fine with them). LGBT friendly, please! I feel like I'm waffling on a bit here so I'll leave it at that. Thanks for reading!

I'm an Anthropology student at Deakin also studying Korean at Monash and I'll be graduating in May next year. I also work part-time at a supermarket (That means free out-of-date food, yay!). I like to be social and have a drink or two, but I'm also happy to have alone time. I study a lot and I work a lot, but I also like to go out drinking and would like to be able to have a friend over on the odd occasion (by no means a party animal, though). We're returning from living in Switzerland in February 2018 - looking for a place that could become available around then. Dylan is a social worker originally from Adelaide and Ezgi is studying a Masters in Construction Management at Melbourne Uni. We're both pretty easy going - enjoy our own space, but also enjoy a casual drink. Dylan loves cooking and we love good food. We enjoy travelling, weekends away camping and both volunteer as Scout leaders in our spare time. By the way, the dog in the picture isn't ours!
Originally from Canberra, currently reside in Carlton North. Seeking an unfurnished room in the the inner northern or eastern suburbs for move in September. Full time Project Manager working in the far Eastern suburbs. Enjoy making tunes and spinning decks in my spare time, as well as hitting the gym and playing bball. I am a Clinical Myotherapists who is completing a second Bachelors to become a Nutritional Medical provider. I will be working in Toorak and attending classes in Fitzroy (so just a little bit busy hehe). I am someone who is fun and loves a good chat about philosophy over a glass of wine. I have lived all around the world and have gotten along with all of my fabulous housemates. I am currently moving back down to Melbourne leaving behind my little house in Ballarat for bigger and better things. Currently I have all the furniture needed for a great home (couch, T.V (w unit), dining table, fridge ect). I'd love to be able to keep my things, although I am open to selling some. If your house/property has a space big enough for me to keep my couch that would be great!

I'm a relaxed, easygoing individual looking for some cool people to share a house with! I'd be happy to find a room within a share house, or team up with others and hunt for a home together. I studied a Bachelor of Fashion at RMIT, and currently working as a Costume Designer part-time, and supplementing my income by Bartending/Waiting in Doncaster and as a Nanny in Croydon, so would prefer to live somewhere near the Eastern Freeway. I love to catch up with friends over coffee or a few drinks. I love camping and the outdoors, though prefer a clean home. I go to gym a couple of times a week, but love cooking and enjoy a good plate of pasta. Message me if you're interested or have a room available!
We are a super chill couple who are looking for a house where we can get the most out of life. We like living a healthy lifestyle, being active and spending time in the outdoors. Danielle loves to cook and Judd is a big footy fan. We both work full time and are professionals but would love a social house where everyone is happy to hang out and have a few drinks, good vibes. We would call ourselves 'pubbers' not 'clubbers' and clean up after ourselves. Flexible on location and when to move in- just looking for a chill place to live and preferably a room with our with own bathroom. We will also have Jags the cat, who does his own thing and is also a bloody legend

Hi, my name is Donna and currently I am living in East Gippsland but am wanting to move to Melbourne around Christmas/New Year. I'm very easy going and enjoy socialising with people that have different interests. I'm a tidy person but not obsessively so. I'm currently working in disability but am looking for work with special needs children. I returned from Vietnam 1 year ago after teaching English there for 3 years. I love travel, animals, socialising, Richmond FC, meeting new people, and learning new things. I may be 57 years old but I have a young attitude and easily mix with people of all ages. Richmond is my first priority, being a keen supporter and also close to all the great Vietnamese food, but other areas are ok too.
I am somebody who is easy to live with. Meaning I keep the place clean and make sure I tidy up after myself (this is not a subjective matter clean and tidy does not look like a mess haha). I believe that living in a enjoyable environment makes for a better quality lifestyle.I am also a friendly person and love playing sports who enjoys good company. I'm really looking for a place to call home at least for a while since I'm just getting out to work.
My name is Adam and I have just recently moved from Tasmania farm life for a change of scenery. I am currently unemployed therefore I will be looking for work somewhere close by. Hi everyone, my name is Blair :) I've never lived out of home before and keen to move out in the next couple of months as I have just started working fulltime and ready for the change. Currently living in Glen Waverley with family. Very independent and reliable. Currently working Mon-Fri as an Occupational Therapist, and waitressing once a week at night. I am a tidy person, able to stay on top of housework can cook basic meals (don't loveeee cooking) but one of my passions is eating out and trying new cuisines. Would always be respectful of communal areas and maintain cleanliness. Love a glass of white wine and cheese/antipasto platter. Love socialising with others but also likes alone time. Goes to the gym a few times a week, not overly obsessed by it though. Likes to read in spare time, watch Netflix, go shopping or go for a walk Loves music + coffee Not overly phased by modernity of house, must be clean though :)
Recently finished a Bachelor of Business and moving to Melbourne in the new year for a new job. I have lived in a share house before and I am really easy going and tidy. Being new to the city, it would be great to find housemates who are social but I am also happy to keep to myself and can respect personal space.
Hi all, Im a 22 year old registered nurse, I'm a shift worker, working a rotating roster. Rarely on nights, very considerate when getting up at odd times and aware the sucky schedule doesn't suit all. So ideally other nurses/healthcare professionals or shift workers may work better :) Outside of work, i love keeping fit and enjoy the gym as a little outlet, always keen for a spontaneous trip away and love cheap adventures. Love travel, so super interested to hear stories if thats what your into as well. I love a social glass of wine occasionally, but I'm not a big drinker and not interested in party house. Im looking for a home where we can be social, but also respect each others personal space. Lover of dogs, allergic to cats :( Happy to answer any questions thrown my way Hola if your interested in a team up. J
I am working in Kew doing a dental assistant traineeship, I am from Mansfield Vic and currently living in South Morang, but would like to move closer for work. I am social and enjoy having a chat but also like my privacy. I like to snowboard in winter, enjoy getting out of the house and easy to get along with.
I am a 33 years old podiatrist, just moved to Melbourne from QLD. I love to hang out with housemate while keeping some personal space. I go to the gym on a regular basis and love a lot of outdoor activities. I rarely go party, sitting on the couch and enjoying a good movie is a typical Saturday night for me. I socialize with people but reading a book is more time-worthy for me. I am a grown up man and like my living condition clean and tidy. I am looking for like-minded roommates to enjoy the insignificant but memorable moments of life rather than cheap rent.
Hello there. My name is Kate. I am 22 years old and am originally from Townsville. I moved to Melbourne in February and am looking for a new place to live (with ensuite) for the new year. I like to think I am easy to get along with. I like my tea, bevs, and quite time just like most people. Looking for a home not a party house or a house where no one talks; maybe a 2 or 3 bedroom place. My boyfriend will hang out some times so that would need to be cool. I work full time in Armadale in child care. I have a car and also can provide unlimited internet. I love a good recycle bin and all my indoor plants. PS. The camel is not included.
I'm a 28 year old Kiwi who has lived in Melbourne for 5 years. I'm looking for a place around Boroondara that is fairly social (but also happy to give a bit of space), with like-minded people. I work full-time as a Web Developer, close to Camberwell Junction. In my spare time I like to swim, go for big bike rides, work out with friends (gym and martial arts), play some guitar, and work on some side projects. Not a massive drinker but also not opposed to a some bevs occasionally. Non-smoker. I've lived away from home for 10 years, so I've learnt to be a good housemate, pay bills on time, pull my weight around the house, etc :)
Hi, I'm from Victoria B.C. Canada, on a summer vacation job with a telecom company. As far as being a roommate, I'm tidy, and generally quiet. I enjoy having a good time, and making good meals. I'll be working full time. I spend my free time, hiking, skateboarding and scuba diving, but I also would like to spend some time learning to surf. I'm an electrical engineering student, so I like to make gadgets and work on electronics when I'm not out. Hope to hear from you, Ben
I am a swimming teacher among doing odd jobs here and there. I enjoy spending time with friends but also like the chance to relax at home. I am out and about a lot with work and social events.
