We are a clean, quiet, and friendly couple who are happy to hang out or keep to ourselves! I (Kym) am quite crafty and love to do projects- I’m currently into knitting at the moment. Joseph is a big car guy and usually enjoys watching the F1 on weekends. We are both WHMs. I am from the US but lived in England for the last three years to finish my uni degree, and Joseph is from Leicester in England. We moved in Aus in Feb. I recently finished up my regional work in Newman, WA, and Joseph is working full-time in Perth in manufacturing. We also Housesit as we love animals, so we will be out sometimes. We are not smokers and both enjoy a drink on occasion (Joseph is always down for a pint!) but aren’t big party people. We tend to just have nights in hanging out and prefer a chill, tidy space. We’re ideally looking to make some new friends in flatmates around our age, but it’s definitely not a deal breaker! We’d be happy to sign a longer lease for the right spot and people as well, depending on how things go.

I am in the position where I would like to move out of the family home for about 12 months or so while i reach my savings goal and to have my personal space and freedom. I am interested in living with just one other person ideally in an apartment or a unit. Our weekdays are usually structured and steady, I’m often up early for school, and Hamid works shifts that extend long hours, but we both really value coming home to a calm, welcoming space. We’re tidy, organised, and always respectful of others’ routines and privacy. We’ve previously lived in the student accommodation at Edith Cowan University, where we apartment-shared with five other people, so we understand the importance of being considerate and getting along with housemates. Our lease is ending now and Hamid’s studies are finishing up. We’ve been saving hard to buy a house, but have decided to wait a little longer so we can save more money. In the meantime, we’d love to join a household that values respect, good communication, and a relaxed vibe.
