Hey all, Nice to meet you! My name's Jesse—originally from the US, have just moved to Perth on Working Holiday. My brother's been here for about a year & a half & finally convinced me to come. At the moment I'm looking for something for just a month, but with the hope/expectation that if I find an ideal job (and if I like the place) I would extend. I stayed in hostels about a decade ago when I began my travels, but can't do that anymore. I've been working as a freelance writer for 8-9 years & like my own space/routine/stability. I spend a lot of time writing and researching for my novels and my youtube channel. It's likely I'll be busy this month and won't be doing much youtube—but if it were to be a long term arrangement I'd want to discuss recording. It isn't very loud (just me talking at the camera) but of course it's something I'm mindful of when living in a shared space. I hope to get a job w/ my brother's company, to do FIFO for a year or two. I'm organized, communicative, and somehow very sociable despite the vast amounts of time I spend alone. I've been traveling for quite a while and love languages—I speak Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian and I really hope to learn French ASAP. Long term, I'm saving up to get my degree in Europe, focusing on something like mythology, medieval history, philosophy, or maybe Russian/French Literature.
