Our place is a modern double storey home which is air conditioned throughout. It is fully furnished except what would be your room. It's a pretty massive place so there is space for everyone to get some downtime when needed. We have a spare room/study, generous living space and even a butlers pantry! We have a double garage so rotate on a month on, month off basis but street parking is never an issue! Our place is walking distance from the train station and local shops. We are just a stones throw from Bulimba, and Seven Hills Reserve is just around the corner. Both spots are great to hit up for a morning run.
Hi all! My name's Terry. I'm originally from Adelaide and I've been in Brisbane now for about 2 years. I work full-time as a soil technician for an engineering firm and I have an indoor cat named Stella who would be accompanying me, so I hope you like cats! A large/extra large room would also be ideal because I have a queen size bed and fairly huge desk. Although the desk could be swapped out for a smaller one if necessary. Sport climbing is a big part of my life when I'm not working. I often won't get home until past 8 pm during the week because I'll go climbing straight from work. I like finding new and interesting ways of keeping fit and mobile. Otherwise, I enjoy all the standard things -- getting out and about with friends, or getting out for a Sunday lunch and a cheeky drink or two.. and maybe a swim at South Bank. Mostly, I'm looking for a place I can call home. I want to find people who are proactive about making the home a nice place to coexist. I also appreciate housemates who can pay the rent and bills on time! Without meaning to sound cliche, I do like to keep things relatively clean, but I'm not at all uptight about cleanliness. If I live with super clean freaks, we may clash if you can't handle the odd dish or two being left in the sink.. I am looking for a quiet, chilled but respectful house. I am a social introvert, curious and open-minded. I have a 17 year old Burmese cat. I work 30 hours per week & spend weekends relaxing or catching up with friends. Not a drinker or a party-er. 420 friendly. I have a small amount of furniture and whitegoods including a small fridge, washing machine and clothes dryer, and a spare single bed, so somewhere not already full of furniture would be ideal. I would really love a place that has a deck or some outside space to chill in, and garden.
There is a shop right next door which is very convenient. The third room is basically storage’s day you welcome to use it as well. I have all that’s needed to cook, clean and lounge around. You will only need bedroom gear I can help with draws but that’s all I really got. It’s has a private front court yard that could be used for a coldy or just to lay in the sun. Down stairs is kitchen,lounge, dining, laundry and toilet and upstairs is all the bedrooms. It Would just be you and I here which means you get just as much say can put you on the lease as well. My sister and I are interested in finding someone to take over our lease. It ends in November 2019 however you can renew it if you would like. The unit is beautiful and has plenty of room for 2-4 people (if you have a partner that you want to move in with) but we need to find a bigger place as my partner’s baby now lives with us it just isn’t big enough anymore (my sisters boyfriend also lives with us) It’s close to the cannon hill shops and public transport. The rent is $395 per week. There’s air con in both bedrooms and the main living area. It’s very bright and gets a lot of natural lighting. The balcony isn’t directly in the sun either so you get the perfect amount of sun each day. There’s 2 bathrooms, main bedroom has an en-suite, a walk in robe and a door connecting to the balcony. The second bedroom is the same size at the master bedroom and has a huge built in robe with one mirrored sliding door. There’s one secured car park and plenty of other car parks in the garage too. Work full-time in a corporate role in financial services, Mon-Fri. Weekends can often include work as well. Like to keep active and generally go for runs each afternoon after work but still love a sneaky wine. Definitely over the whole party scene and rarely ever go out - prefer quiet nights in. I have a spacious room avilable for rent in my house. Close to bus and train stations and only 500m from Cannon hill shops. Water views from all sides (my neighbours pools!) I am an owner occupier who is looking to fill my spare room. The house is fully furnished I do not need/want much more furniture. Large living room and dining room. Large spacious yard and deck with pool table for dual living spaces. Ideally you are a clean and neat person who love animals. Prefer someone who will want to keep a clean and tidy house as this is important for me. Usually run a weekly cleaning roster with past housemates but can consider a weekly/fortnightly cleaner if all housemates are interested. A bit about myself and my animals, I am a 31 year old retail manager who works full time. I am all for the odd parties and drinks with friends but ideally not every weekend as we would all be working different hours. She often takes the bus instead of driving to uni and can travel door to door to the St Lucia Campus in 40 mins. 30 mins straight to the city centre, 15-20 mins in the car. The Main living areas furnished but can move things around/store items as needed. Hardwood floors throughout top and tiled on ground floor. 1 room available.
