Hey there, viv here, currently waitressing part time in south yarra whilst finishing up my nursing degree. Will be working full time in 2017. I live a free simple life, love a good chat, binge watching tv series, heading out for drinks with m8s and the occasional cooking. I clean up well after myself, am neat but not a clean freak, open minded with a good sense of humour. Currently looking for a room to let that is PET FRIENDLY as I own TWO CATS. Looking to start rent end of december. Cheers!
Hey prospective housemate, I have two rooms available in my Caulfield home. Room One, with rent at $900 per calendar month, is the master bedroom in the house with two inbuilt wardrobes and ample room for a king size bed and desk as well as book shelf. Room Two, with rent at $800 per calendar month, easily fits a queen sized bed and two book shelves with an inbuilt wardrobe shelving unit and hanging space in the cupboard across the hall is needed. The bond is 6 weeks rent and bills are currently stable around $40 a month with unlimited internet and currently set priced gas and electricity. The location is fantastic! Round the corner from Glenhuntly Road we have the 67 tram, now all-night on weekends, coming down Glenhuntly Road, the 64 tram to the right coming down Hawthorn Road, and 15-20 minutes walk to Caulfield, Elsternwick and Glenhuntly Stations. On top of this Glenhuntly road is a great area of little cafes and independent shops with Malvern East and Carnegie not 5 minutes’ drive away. The house is full kitted out at the moment (though some things will be leaving with the current housemates), has a great back yard, and spacious living dining room area. There is on street parking available and a garage if needed, though only for a small car. What I’m looking for in new housemates: - Mid-20’s - Dependable, neat, clean and tidy - Working full time or working and studying - Someone who is willing to be social with the house but also respectful of the space and other people’s needs. - Non-smoker Rooms are available on the December 9th and January 1st, but can be available sooner if needed. Send through a message if you are interested.
Just moved here from the UK but lived in Melbourne for a while a few years back. My job (news editor for a tech/finance website) means I can travel a lot - was in Chicago for a while a couple of years ago - and so I'm staying here over the summer. Looking for somewhere for a few months with sound, relaxed people who wouldn't mind a beer in front of the TV every now and there. As for me, I try to be the goldilocks housemate - neat but not obsessive, friendly but not pushy, sociable but I'm not about to drag strangers back at 2am for a party. No fuss, no muss. Interests include books, films, music (I worked at a record shop last time I was here) and coffee, if that counts. Respectful of people regardless of colour, gender or sexuality.
Hey everyone! I'm studying law at Monash in Clayton, and also work part-time. I've got 4 years of rental experience, and have never missed a payment, and have never had any dramas at each of the places I've lived. I'm sometimes pretty busy, but I'm always friendly, clean and chill, and am looking for a decently social or friendly place. Major hobbies are language learning (Italian, Japanese and Malayalam) and travelling (I try and do a day trip whenever I can). Would prefer something between my uni in Clayton and the city, or maybe in the city.
THE HOUSE I recently purchased a lovely 5 bedroom house with heaps of living space and am looking for another friendly, relaxed and respectful housemate to share it with. Just minutes walk from trams, trains, buses and shops. Amenities include a lovely back garden, ducted heating, two reverse-cycle air conditioners, separate laundry, ornamental fireplaces, polished floorboards, gas-plumbed built-in barbeque, big garden shed ABOUT ME I'm a 34 year old male professional, have had many positive house sharing experiences over the years and decided instead of renting out my new property to a large family, I might as well move into it myself, fill it with some friendly housemates and enjoy it. I also like the idea of having an international household because I find a bit of variety keeps things more interesting. Currently there are 5 of us in the home, myself and 4 Caulfield Monash masters students. (2 guys, 3 girls) Since a few of the housemates will be travelling abroad, there are flexible options for short term stays over the summer (from 4 weeks to 8 weeks) Cheers, Justin
Conveniently located close to public transport, Hawthorn Road shops, cafes & gym, Glenhuntly Road shops & Caulfield Park. Spacious bedroom can fit double or queen size bed and room with a view. Wardrobe included. Bedroom can include single bed and the rest of our lovely apartment is mostly fully furnished.
I'm a secondary school teacher, looking to move closer in to the city to avoid a 2 hour commute to work in 2017! I'm also finishing my degree at uni as well as working. I'm generally pretty quiet and keep to myself, and would sooner choose a night in with wine and Netflix over a party :)
We are two funky friends looking to team up with some new pals to form a share house, hopefully in January ! Georgie has been living on campus at Monash for the past three years studying Physiotherapy (gives good massages), and Austin is making the move up to the big smoke from Tassie in 2017 and hopefully going to start studying at uni here too. Georgie also works a few different jobs, and Austin be finding part time employment too. Georgie and Austin are a couple so would be sharing a room ($$$ off rent!!). We are all really fun and easy going people, love to have a boogie but (especially Georgie) love to buckle down and get some work done. We are all super clean and have good rental histories and references. We love going on nights out, hanging out at home with some bevs, watching tv and doing all the usual stuff you'd expect. We hope to find some like-minded folks to hang out with, cook family dinners and have an excellent year together!!
I'm a great sociable housemate. I can have a high energy or a very calming influence! A hairdresser by trade. Love to explore place I am living, or also relax and soak up the vibe. Clean and caring, i want to live in a nice environment !
Hi there I'm Kirsty, a budding writer. Being a drug and alcohol worker pays my rent/bills but I'm making space in my life to spend more time writing and pursuing creative goals. Single, never married, no kids. I'm healthy, balanced, friendly, clean and responsible. I'm funny too. Well, I think I'm funny. I'm into exercise, meditation, writing, animals, cooking, TV series', socialising. I love down time too though and have been known to binge watch and not leave my bedroom for awhile. I don't drink or use drugs. I like to travel and get away for the weekend sometimes. I'm friendly and open but I also like as much space and privacy as the average person and offer the same to others. I earn enough to be fully self supporting and pay my rent/bills.
Hey guys, I really need a place to stay! I'm a friendly, ambitious and open-minded person, ready to try new things and meet friends! I need a private room while I work to save up money to travel the east coast. So I can only stay for a couple weeks. I hope you can help me out :)

Hello there :) My names Jemima, I am 21 and studying Fine Arts at Monash Caulfield and are working as a Host at Nobu Melbourne. I love music, cooking, art and my indoor plants are my babies. I am a vego but don't mind if you're not. Of course I look forward to fun social times in the house but also am fully aware of the need for personal space. I am clean and responsible when it comes to house duties and the sharing of shared goods in the house. I have been living independently for 3 years of so now, but still have not managed to accumulate much stuff - I have my herbs in pots that I love that will be coming with me but apart from that I don't have many appliances (no washing machine, fridge, dishwasher, TV). If you have any further questions don't hesitate to ask me :)

In short we are 43yo, have been happily married for 5 years with no plans for children, love coffee/food/wine and anything that involves all three, we enjoy movies, live music/shows (especially blues), bike riding, skiing, picnics, walks in parks/gardens and well, being outside generally. We live a quiet lifestyle (i.e. we're not party goers apart from the occasional), but enjoy great conversation over a meal and glass of wine or sharing time in front of a movie with popcorn and treats. Brian is a photographer and owned his own business in the USA for many years. Upon returning home for good though has been enjoying his other great passion - hospitality (because again, it involves coffee/food/wine). Although he's currently working in two establishments, next year he hopes to return to drumming up his photography business and adding Physics tutoring to the mix. He's also a massive cat lover, even though we sadly have no pets at this time and probably won't until we buy our own home. May is a mobile dog groomer, so no guessing as to the animal she loves! It is based in the Caulfield/Caulfield South area, hence our desire to live in the region. She has a big blue dog grooming trailer that will need to be parked either on the property or at least have space to park it freely or with a permit on the street. We are currently saving for a deposit on a home, but that is way off yet, so we're looking to meet flatmates who are mature, fun, respectful, responsible and willing to take in a married couple :) and if we click, are in for the long term. If you would like to meet us or know more you can contact us via the message service, we would love to hear from you! Brian and May Jenkin

Hey everyone! My name is Peter, I am currently in the process of moving from Toronto, Canada to Australia on a Working Holiday Visa. Although I will be on a temp. visa, I am looking to permanently relocate and hope to work towards that upon my arrival. A bit about me, I am a young professional working in commercial banking. Have been doing it for a few years and have recently contemplated a career change with this move. Possibly open up my own business! On my spare time, I play basketball, go to the gym, a big coffee fan, love to explore the city, and a strong believer looking to get plugged into a church community. I'm looking for stability and wont be the typical traveller on this visa. I am a home owner here in Canada, so I am tidy and clean up after myself. I have rented rooms to some mates here and so I really understand the process! I am quite social and love to meet new people, but also balanced and can give sufficient space too. I'm very transparent and hope to find some mates who have the same values/interests. I am quite flexible with the duration of my stay. I prefer to find a place that is furnished and tidy. Close to public transportation and grocery stores are always a bonus! Looking for a place that is $200/pw inclusive of utilities and internet. If you have something that may be of interest please send me a message! Look forward to meeting you!
Hi! My name is Diana, I'm 22 years old girl from Russia. Have been living in Melbourne for more than a year now. I'm currently looking for a good sized private room in Eastern Suburbs (South Yarra; Prahran; Windsor; Malvern; Toorak; Ripponlea; Elsternwick; Caulfield North/ South). Looking for something for long term (1 year). Happy to pay around $180 per week without bills. I'm getting Master of Marketing and work a couple of jobs at the moment, so have a stable income. I don't spend a lot of time at home as I pretty busy during the week and sometimes have work on the weekends as well. I'm really respectful of others space, always clean after myself and generally keep a positive atmosphere around the house ;) I've got a few things that I can bring to the house including fridge, cutlery, vacuum cleaner, I can also bring some furniture for the living room if needed. Feel free to get in touch if you'd like to know more.
I am a 25 year old male beginning another degree hopefully at Monash next semester. Just moved over from Perth, don't have a job yet, as i only arrived yesterday! However i am very qualified for work and will be getting a job as soon as get out of this hostel! I have plenty of savings to back me up so paying bills/rent won't be an issue. I enjoy chilled but social households (shared movies, dinner and some wine etc). Not really into lots of crazy parties anymore, let me know if you are interested in having me around. Cheers!
Moving to Melbourne from Country Victoria in Mid January for work until the end of June. Teacher who has secured work in St Kilda East/Caulfield during term 2 2017, this will be supplemented with regular emergency work in term 1. I have an impeccable rental history with favourable references from all previous housemates. Looking for a quiet sociable house/flat with professionals. I am a healthy active person, I will be working through the week and try to keep active on weekends with riding, camping and football taking up most of my days. Apart from having traits you want in a housemate like being clean and tidy, washing up their dishes and making sure food in the fridge doesn't go mouldy etc, I've lived with lots of people before so i can adapt to different personality types and the different ways we all live ☺️ I'm a super busy person which means I'm not home a lot, I work both morning and night times, but I love to go out and relax with friends or unwind at home with a glass of wine and tv (food network is always a winner). I love to cook, but I'm from a big family so I believe home cooked meals are to be enjoyed together and time should be spent together.
Hi future flatmates! I'm from the Netherlands and looking for a place to stay during my exchange at Monash University. I'm always up for a shared meal, a nice chat or a glass of wine. :)
I am simple - low to no maintenance, responsible, mature and keep things clean. I work as a researcher at a university here in Melbourne and my contract is extended every week. ----- Retal Terms ----- Can move-in today Period: 1 to 12 weeks I can pay upfront every week ($100-150 p/w is my budget) No Bond. If place is really good, we can discuss 1 week bond but it will go to RTBA. 3-7 day notice for both of us. ---- My offer is for short-medium term accomodation. It is quite good because in the short-term I can occupy the room (that may not be occupied), and should you find someone for the long-term, then you can give me 3-7 day notice and I can move out. My only requirements are: Quiet Environment to sleep or rest at any time, if needed. Fast Internet, ideally cable. Privacy & Security of my belongings. I will occasionally cook, sleep and thats it. Ideally the room has a bed, kitchen and post box, and is relatively clean. Please contact me if you are interested.
