Elegant townhouse in exceptional location. Decorated with eclectic mixture of antiques and contemporary furniture, and art-filled walls. Very well established and long-term residence. 5 mins walk to Oxford St Paddington, and Fox Studios EQ, and 100 metres to Sydney's urban jewel, Centennial Park. Bus at door goes Bondi to Marrickville. Share with 2 others who lead busy, professional lives but like home to be a peaceful sanctuary (wouldn't suit someone looking for action-packed party house). Room is medium size and is fully furnished including your own flat-screen TV. Could be unfurnished. Room (and house) has recently been freshly painted and carpeted, and shared bathroom updated. Essential that potential flatmate like dogs as there is an extremely friendly Pug dog who loves everyone. Non-smoker essential. Potential to slightly negotiate on rent for long term.
Hello :) :) :) *****PLEASE NOTE I am currently in the UK (RETURNING EARLY DECEMBER) This means ... * I cannot view ANY places before Dec 1st * I am willing to WHATSAPP /Skype to get a sense of whether we should proceed, (but NOT TO MAKE MY DECISION/ pay upfront deposits/ ) I am great to live with as I have lived all over the globe, literally, since I was a kid! I was a Diplomat Brat and have been to school in places such as Singapore..Indonesia & NZ.. The list goes onnnnn and onnnnnn. As an adult, I caught the travel bug and am an online coach and travel the world with my son, aged 3. He's a pretty chill dude, and very respectful of furnishings and space, as he has been to 11+ countries since 6 weeks of age, and more airbnbs than we can count! :) I am currently in Glasgow, UK. Returning to Sydney and wish to stay LONG TERM , ideally 6-12 months in a house, (hopefully longer if we get the right dynamic). I work from a co-working space (The Hub) during the week, and my son attends a preschool 4 days, with a view to 5 in January 2019. We are out and about A LOT (coworking space events...parks..playgrounds...all the free events Sydney has to offer etcetcetc). I have to say that I can afford our own place, and I did this pre moving to the UK, but honestly, after living with people again, I can see my son and I thrive on it and it gets pretty isolating as a solo parent! If you tell me you are a quiet household or that you're out working a lot, I actually think this is a HUGE MINUS. I want to live with people who are friendly, and well, we are loud ourselves -I play music , as does my son (expect to hear Fat Freddy's drop at 7.30am while we get ready for school...). I'm a pretty chill person. In saying that, I like to tidy up, clean, and cook a lot! (Don't worry, I don't care if you do or not, I just like to ;-). ) *SUPER OPEN MINDED *RESPECTFUL *RELAXED *LOVE COOKING *FINANCIALLY STABLE *SOCIAL *SUSTAINABLE *DIRECT & AMAZING COMMUNICATOR (no passive-aggressive post-it notes or txts, ugh) *LGBT friendly *Great music collection, particularly DRUM AND BASS! I get that living with a 3 year old (***HE'S THREE, THE THING WOULDNT LET ME ADD HIM UNLESS HE WAS 16 YRS OR OLDER-HAHAHA) is not everyone's idea of an ideal housemate, and yet I encourage you to meet us, and then judge for yourselves! I come with good references and referees, as does my little dude, just ask :). *I also have a fair bit of furniture (dining table/butcher's bench/couch, artwork) which is in storage in Sydney at the moment, from our last home. I would love an UNFURNISHED PLACE. I guess I'll tell you about my favourite living arrangements that seemed to work best for us: BERLIN WAREHOUSE *We had a massive room and ensuite *The house was full of DJs and artists (perfect for my son to enjoy company and they were always making noise themselves, so didn't mind much what he was up to) *we got to be social and have company, but also enough space to retreat when we wanted GLASGOW HOUSE *This was a small space with one other gay woman and her cat. She worked a lot at a bar. When she was home, we were social and shared a vino or three while my son played. Will miss this place!! My son loves all animals and loves giving the dog a walk if you have one ! Spaces that DIDNT work: * People who are allergic to kids (they exist) *Toxic people who are low vibe and negative *If you communicate passive-aggresively via sms or post it notes and have no communication skills *Uptight/super anal people *If you are a light-sleeper (sometimes he wakes up at 5am, that's kids for you) ---Haaaa! That's what earplugs and wine are for riiiight? *If you work all the time and want to come home to peace and quiet *If you just want to sit in your room all day/night Looking forward to hearing from all the high-vibe lovers who'd be keen to setup a great space together or already established a space for us to add to! Luke and I are neuroscientists looking to move to Sydney from Brisbane. Luke will be studying medicine next year and I will be working full-time. We are both super passionate about what we do. We are very tidy and like things to be kept clean. Socializing and having fun is a must but we also like our space as we will be very busy studying most of the time. I am a very good cook and can fix just about anything.

Hi! I am a respectful, clean and tidy individual looking for like-minded housemates to live with. I study full-time at UNSW and work as a freelance photographer and tutor. Would love easy going and considerate housemates who don't mind chatting but can also respect personal time and space. I love animals so pets are more than welcome!
I'm looking for a temporary place for short stay from 7th Jan to 1st Feb. I work full time as a contract administrator at a construction company. I'm going on a trip on early Februrary so would like to find a permanent place after that.
Very considerate flatmate, outgoing but also like my down time. Enjoy the beach, training, good food/wine/company and travelling when I can. Important who I live with and that we are like-minded and get on well.
Hi I'm Taranga and I am loosing my beloved flatmate so am searching for someone with an open mind to move in my apartment in a secure complex in Centennial Park. I am located on the top floor and the apartment overlooks the Entertainment Quarter so you get to hear all the games etc. The apartment itself is full of light throughout out the day and has a huge balcony and the complex gardens are beautiful and lush. Your room is big enough for a double/queen bed, desk and has a built in wardrobe. There is already a mattress in room (double). Its light and very quiet. Screen on windows to keep out those mozzies at night. There is a 355 bus which takes you to Bondi Junction or to Newtown. Cafe's are close by and you are in walking distance to Oxford Street. The apartment itself is old style but lots of room and the kitchen is big, not that I use it much. I do not cook but would love someone who does and I clean, thats the deal there. There is on street parking only. This area is a very quiet place and the birds will be singing there songs in the evening times and early morning. Neighbours are all lovely as well if that is important to you. I am the lower end of Cook Road so right near the Centennial Park. Everything is close by with the Entertainment Quarter only being a 10 minute walk away.
I grew up in Sydney and just got back after two years in London. I've worked mainly in marketing and communications for non-profits and social enterprises, and I'm starting a postgrad degree next year in international development. My downtime is generally spent at pub trivia, going cycling, and tasting craft beer (The first and last of these often happen at the same time). Happy to team up with others looking for a place!
Hi all, I'm looking for a sunny flat or house to share with someone nice and clean. I'm working full-time in CBD, very clean and organized. Sometimes I work long hours or read in my room but can be also social. The room should be unfurnished as I'm bringing my own bed. I own a car and would require a parking space, preferably an off-street one. I'm not looking to live with backpackers or families, sorry. Preferably, my flatmates would be professionals working full-time. Please reach out if you have something suitable. Cheers El

Hi there! I am starting a full time role in the city, early December, and am looking to find a house! I am a female in my early twenties. I have lived in many amazing share houses and I want to continue that good fortune. I am clean, and respectful of my roomies space, but won't so no to a glass of wine or two, or a Brooklyn 99 marathon. I love to cook (I am vegetarian, but I won't make you become one if you do not want to), so would love a place with a decent kitchen. I love the beach, the environment, and try to stay relatively active/healthy. Let me know if you have any questions.
Paddington Town House with Beautiful,Peaceful, Clean double room. Very short term ( less than 3 months) $400. 20 minutes walk from Bondi Junction 20 minutes walk from CBD 25 minutes walk to Randwick 20 minutes walk to Surry Hills No couples ,Thank you.
I am fastidiously clean and well-organised. My son (who is 13) lives with me every second week. We have a clean little rabbit who lives in a cage and is only there every second week when my son stays. I do not have big parties and take care of the place I live.
Hello, My name is Paul and I am from France. I am 32 years old and I will arrive in Sydney the 17th of November 2018. I am a former professional rugby player and coach for France national rugby team. I am a dynamic and motivated person, I want to work abroad to discover new things and experience new challenges. I can easily adapt to new environments and work in different fields. However, I come to Sydney with a Student Visa and I registered for an English class, so I would have to adapt my English class timetable with your working schedule. I had experience in many foreign countries thanks to my job (Dubai, USA, South Africa, NZ, HKG,…), however, my English is not so good and it’s my priority to improve my English in Australia. For me, working and living in Australia is the best way to learn the local culture, the values and the new way of life. I hope to see you soon! Kind regards :) Paul
Lovely art deco apartment block on a quiet street in a great location close to Oxford Street and Centennial Park. Bedroom includes an attached sunroom. Apartment has a spacious living room and small clean kitchen / dining room. Happy to sell all the furniture in my room to the new occupant if interested.
I moved to Sydney from San Francisco about a year ago, and excited to get the chance to experience Summer in Sydney again! I'm pretty friendly and enjoy chatting over a glass of wine or shared meal every so often, though I sometimes work hectic hours. Looking forward to meeting you :) Other important details: * I was transferred here through a large international tech company, so paying rent won't be an issue, rest assured. * I'm a nonsmoker now, but I used to, so it's important to me to live with other nonsmokers * I do like to enjoy an adult beverage every so often though, so hope you do too lol * Very LGBT friendly / generally accepting of all lifestyles * Very clean in common areas * I welcome homes with pets! * Looking to build a home rather than a crash pad 💛
Hey guys, I'm Sherry! I am 23 years old and will be moving to Sydney fairly soon for a job offer at GTA Consultants. I'll be working fulltime Monday through Friday. I'm looking for a place to call home that is within 30 minutes from the CBD via public transport. I'm from Brisbane so I wouldn't mind having flatmates who'd be up for an adventure once in while. I am easy-going, very clean, tidy and reliable when it comes to bills and so on. This is not my first time in a share house. I enjoy a good laugh and have a huge appreciation for travelling, different foods, nature, live music and meeting new people. I would really like to live with other like-minded people and young working professionals. When I'm not working I like to relax with a good book and sometimes a Netflix binge is necessary. I like to socialise, whether it's a night in, chill drink or a night out, but I also respect others downtime. I am looking for a place to move in to from 25th January (however, this date is flexible as my starting date is on the 11th February). I will be coming down to Sydney on the 17th January through to 21st for viewings and meetups. Please, if you want to know more just send me a message! :)
I'm a 31 year old architect working full time in Surry Hills while doing a master degree at UNSW. I'm easy going, very tidy, organized and responsible. I like to exercise every day, I practice hatha yoga and box. During the weekends, I like to go out to explore the city, relax and have a few drinks. Love to cook, travel, art, indie music and films. I also love dogs. I look forward to hearing from you.
Hey I'm Nadine, 22 years old and working full time at a law firm in the CBD. I work long hours so won't be around much on weekdays but enjoy socialising, getting outdoors and keeping active on the weekends. I'm very laid back, friendly, like to keep things clean, respectful of others and reliable when it comes to paying bills etc. Looking for flatmates I can become friends with but also enjoy space when needed. Always down for a glass of wine and a laugh. I'm flexible with the length of stay & move in date (though would like to be moved in before 26th Nov) also hoping for bills and internet to be included with the rent. No couples or smokers preferred, no gender preference.
