Hi 👋 there I work as a cardiac sonographer at various hospitals and private consult rooms around Sydney, mainly eastern suburbs. My primary background is cardiac nursing (but not to forget the arts degree before that 😉, man those were the days!). I’m working 4-5 days a week now, with weekends off duty ;) I’m mid thirties , mature but fun 🤣 Have just returned to Sydney after a year’s stint up on the North Coast of NSW (where I grew up!). A bit of city escape I suppose but ultimately my work and friends are based here in Sydney. Weekends I like to go to movies sometimes, see music and drink tea (or wine) with friends, swim, get to yoga when the motivation strikes and walk down at beautiful Bronte or Coogee, and otherwise just to potter. I have grand plans to use my bike more often, go for hikes and to get back into some regular exercise, maybe mixed social basketball again (I’ve allowed work to take priority for too long!) I love a bit of beach, sky and greenery having grown up in Coffs but have been predominantly in Sydney for the last 18 years (half my life!) - studying, working, making life long friends & having fun. I love Sydney’s beaches and coastline, Bronte Beach and Wylies Baths are my favourites once the water gets above 18 degrees 😉 I'm very trustworthy, friendly and sociable but really I do appreciate and respect others and certainly value my own privacy and bit of comfortable quiet too, a place with my OWN BATHROOM would be ideal. I’m at a point in my life where I would like to find a place to call home for a while, however I have put 2-3months just as a starting point ! ☺️
Hi I'm Josh, Australian 26 y/o professional. Just moved up to Sydney from Melbourne for a full-time Engineering role with pretty standard working hours. During the week, I enjoy relaxing after work with a beer/wine and might be found in the kitchen cooking dinner. On the weekends, I enjoy socialising, hitting the beach, having a beer etc. I'm looking for housemates that are social and can have a good chat as well as respecting each others space and privacy. Ideally looking for a long term lease 6 months+. Quite flexible with move-in date for the right place. I enjoy a chilled home life whilst still living with sociable people who are open to having the occasional meal/ BBQ/ drink on the weekend. Not looking for a party house but do enjoy a weekend gathering. I am clean, tidy and respectful of communal areas as well as other people's space and would expect the same from my housemates. Hoping to live with other people who work full-time and share similar values.
Currently based in South Coogee and have been in the same place for 5 yrs. I’m a GM for a HR services business and travel a fair bit midweek. I do love a wine, cook sometimes when I’m not having to travel and not one bring the party home. Im very social, have family and friends all round Sydney that I see regularly, get to F45 or the gym and play tennis too. I’ve a full house of furniture and all of that but also happy to put it in storage.
I currently work in Paddington full time in the corporate construction industry. I am also trying to start up my own business online with the eventual dream of being able to do contract (6 months) construction work and travel. As such, I am a busy person although I do love to pause my day and have a good chat. I love to listen to people's stories and learn about other cultures, lives and subjects that I don't necessarily have a personal interest in. I am often attending seemingly random events or activities. I am very clean and organised and think mutual respect is so important in shared accommodation. I have no issues with guests and believe the place you reside should be your home where you are comfortable to do as you please. The reason I am looking to move is my housemates (couple) are going to be moving into their own place.
Hey there, James here. I'm excited to be searching for a room to share in a house/apartment in Sydney for the very first time. After studying and living in Melbourne once finishing school I've spent the last 10 years living in London and most recently New York but have decided to spend some time closer to family and enjoy the great city of Sydney. So far it's been pretty awesome. A country Vic native I used to work as a corporate lawyer but now work in operations for tech start-ups as well as now for a Sydney fashion PR agency. I'm very easy-going and looking for a friendly house/housemates to call home. I'm not a party-type guy but love to socialise and am really looking forward to making the most of my next 6-12-18 months (at least) in Sydney - I have the dream of learning to surf while back in Australia but knowing myself it will likely remain a dream and I'll stick to the tennis courts. Ideally, I'd like to live in Surry Hills, Paddington, Potts Point, Darlinghurst, Redfern, Newtown, Alexandria or generally the Eastern Suburb areas but it's a new rental canvass for me to explore so I'm open to anywhere relatively central with good public transport connections. Please drop me a line if you think we might be a housemate match. Very best, James
hi late 3os looking for a spacious houseshare or self contained preferably in a peaceful environment. space and storage and parking availability would be great. I am interested in meditation nature and am easy going and quiet. I work in health care.......
I'm very laid back, quiet old soul. I'm tidy, clean and like tea and fuzzy socks. I teach Yoga/Pilates/Barre and love nature, climbing trees and keeping active. I'm a massive nerd and super curious about everything!
Hi there! My name's Sarah - I work at UNSW and am currently looking for somewhere new to live, either a bit closer to work or any kind of body of water :) I'm a pretty easy going, clean and tidy flatmate. Not a great cook - so hey, I won't take up the kitchen that often ;) Bit of an arts enthusiast - at my happiest when I'm at a gig, an art gallery, the movies, etc. I also sing in an acapella group, which is a lot of fun (and yes, a fair bit like Pitch Perfect, haha). Work can be quite hectic, so on weeknights I can often be found just chilling out in my room in front of a good TV show (or a bad one, depending on your opinion ;). Weekends I'm usually out-and-about a bit more though, exploring the city and looking for adventures. I'm very independent and respectful of other people's space and privacy. But always keen to have a chat around the house, or go out for drinks/dinner every now and then too. It'd be great to share with people who'd eventually become friends as well :)
Friendly and social, but like to have my own space to retreat and recharge. I'm an active person. I love heading out for walks and swims, but more than anything I love to eat. I work full time in the city and try (though sometimes fail) to have a good work/life balance. I get up early and my biggest flaw as a flatmate is that I sometimes like to bake or make smoothies in the morning.
Hey guys! I'm a fun and laid back 24 year old who's looking to moving to Sydney to be closer to work. I'm currently based in Wollongong but working in Sydney full time and I'm finding the commute a little too much. I'm primarily looking to rent a room but would be more than happy to team up and find a place. I'm a clean and social person who's always happy to have a chat/laugh and the occasional bottle of wine. Feel free to swing me a message! :)
I’m renting out a bedroom in my light filled two bedroom apartment in Centennial Park (short walk to Oxford St). The apartment has been newly furnished and styled (all new appliances, furniture & kitchen goods), it has one bathroom, separate laundry and a balcony. I’m looking for a respectful, tidy & easy going person to live with. The available bedroom is unfurnished. $330 a week Plus bond (Sorry no couples and no pets).
34 years old, research associate at UNSW, I like to be out and about but also sometimes enjoy a quiet time at home. I am tidy and organized, I like to cook and bake, share the occasional chat and glass of wine but also leave you some space if needed.
Full time Speech Pathologist. In my spare time, I like to spend time with family and friends, cook, read, swim and draw. Clean and respectful, but also up for a chat when our paths cross or over a meal /coffee. Looking for a private room in a place of clean and considerate working professionals or mature students. Ideally close to public transport.
Professional mature person, respectful, kind. Looking for a room long-term where I can 'get away' from the chaos of family nearby... Would you consider sharing your home with someone like me? Prefer pleasant room, built ins, small room OK. Animal lover, enjoy hobbies like photography and happy to share skills, enjoy a quiet calm home, friendly but also like my own space to retreat. I'm a regular meditator and would love to live with other meditators, if possible. Love the outdoors, parklands, good with house plants and gardens. Please only respond if genuine long term (12 months or more only). No shared bedrooms. Maximum shared bathroom with one other only. Prefer Eastern Suburbs in particular near Flood St, Bondi Rd, Birrell St areas, if available..
I’m Sarah! I’ve lived in Sydney for most of my life, I work in marketing for Dyson, and I like all of the good stuff - exercising, brunch, chill dinners in and the occasional night out. I’m looking for a room for 6-12 months.
