This is a beautiful private property situated in Chapel Hill. The house is a split level design, with a spacious kitchen and lounge area. The rooms are each furnished with a bed, desk and desk chair, as well as decor to make you feel at home. The house is wrapped by a verandah and has a spacious backyard with views to Mt Cootha. The rent includes all bills, including unlimited internet use. My 70inch smart TV comes complete with Netflix and Stan. The property is 10 minutes to the University of Queensland, 20 minutes to Brisbane City and QUT. We are also close to public transport if you are without a car. I live with a beautiful female Staffy, two cats and a turtle! The rooms are available for a minimum term of one year, up to 18 months.
Clean, considerate, kind, happy, can cook a little, very respectful of other peoples belongings. I am a flight attendant so I am often away for a few nights per week. I'm often away on the weekends too. I like to swim, socialise, go to music gigs. But if you have any questions, just ask :)

A beautiful house with 4 people and 1 cat is looking for a new mate! If you consider yourself a nice person and you're tidy, friendly, pay rent on time, like cats, around our age preferably (25-35), get in touch with us. - THE ROOM is fully furnished - BATHROOM will be shared only with Dawn - KITCHEN will be shared with the rest of the house, fridge shared with 2 other people. - RENT includes all utilities and internet. Electricity comes extra, every 3 months, depending on usage. Rent is to be paid 2 weeks in advance. - BOND - only $320. The house is in a nice area, at the bottom of Mt Coot-tha. Indooroopilly shopping center, Kenmore village, Kenmore plaza, are just a couple of minutes away. A pub, cafe, health food store, ice cream shop are just down the hill. There are plenty of buses that will take you to the city and UQ. But consider that buses take time and if you're not ready to spend 30 min commuting to city or university, it's not for you. However, if you think, it may be suitable for you, get in touch, tell me a bit about yourself, and we'll arrange a time for you to come over and take a look.
I'm Jess, a science communicator who recently moved to Brisbane to start a masters at UQ. I'm a pretty interesting person, having worked as a wildlife educator at a zoo, in communications for a non profit and also in a hiking store. I'd love to house share with some respectful, easygoing people of any age / background (non-smoking preferred) within an easy distance of UQ St Lucia campus. As far as roommates go I'm very down to earth. I'm an environmentally conscious vegetarian who loves cooking and farmers markets (I don't mind living with non-veggos in the least). I love tea, coffee, wine, music (listening and playing), lazy sundays, great books and conversations, yoga, and illustrating. I also have an adventurous spirit and enjoy getting out on weekends going running, hiking, camping, kayaking etc. I own both a 4WD and a beautiful border collie (currently in VIC), and I am hoping to soon move her to QLD so it's really important to me that any house share be in a pet friendly property with a fully fenced yard, that any other dogs are friendly and flea treated and there is a veranda or indoor space for my dog to sleep (I'm really worried about cane toads!). I'm a very respectful dog owner, my dog is incredibly well trained (think loads of cool tricks) and well exercised (runs/walks everyday), I keep her off furniture and out of flatmates rooms and I flea and worm her regularly. She's without a doubt the sweetest, laziest, cuddliest and smartest dog you'll meet. For a border collie shes quite small and shy, she loves nothing better than a good snooze in her basket while I study, as well as playing with toys and eating cheese. I'd prefer a house with nice kitchen and bathroom facilities, some form of parking and within an easy distance (either cycling, driving or public transport) from UQ. If you're interested in teaming up for a house share, have a room available and wouldn't mind an adorable pupper and her responsible / friendly owner to share with, please please please contact me! xx Jess
The house is located in a quiet leafy street of Chapel Hill, only 5 minutes from the Indooroopilly Shopping Centre. An older house, but with renovations throughout, there is a great fireplace, large deck off the living area and a pool with more deck space. Short walk to the bus and Mt Coot-tha walking trails. As well as the ensuite, the room has a built in wardrobe and it's own private balcony
My beautiful Staffy, Ziggy and I have moved back from Melbourne after being away for two years and completely fallen in love with Brisbane all over again. I work in corporate sales however I am a hippy at heart and have a full and active social life. Love the out doors, live music, beach, traveling, cooking, hanging out at home with a great bottle of wine, music while I potter around in a veggie patch. Love to cook good clean food as I am a vegetarian, and although I haven't taught yoga for a few years, I am a fully qualified yoga teacher. Ziggy is an 8 year old brindle staffy who doesn't bark and is fully house trained. He is great with other animals however he would prefer to hang out with humans as he loves all the attention. As I have just moved back, I don't have a lot of furniture. Pretty much my bedroom suite, TV and other bits and pieces I have picked up since I have been back. So if you have a fridge, washing machine and couch, that would be a good start to a comfy home. Looking forward to meeting my next house mates.

My name is Kate, I'm a 28 year old student/pensioner who is looking for a room to rent, preferably longer term, with my little dog Eddie (a jack russell cross who loves nothing more than to spend the day cuddling) and my lorikeet Blaze. My favourite hobby is going for rides on my motorcycle, especially on nice twisting country roads. I also like drawing and painting, and I'm a reasonably good guitarist too. I'm due to finish my degree in youth work at the end of July and plan to start working as soon as I finish. Currently I'm getting disability support payments and I'm also volunteering part time to keep my skills up. I have been renting for 7 years and I have always paid my rent and bills on time so no issues there. Eddie is a really sweet little dog, he loves people as well as other dogs and cats. He's around two years old, is fully house-trained and rarely barks. He's a mostly inside dog while I'm home, sleeps a lot of the day (usually on my bed) and likes playing with other dogs, toys and especially in water. He would love it if there was somewhere outside to fit a little shell pool for him to play in. Blaze spends most of his days whistling, singing, and playing with/talking to his toys. He's friendly and loves people interacting with him, even through the cage bars. He loves music and is a good little dancer. He lives in a decent sized cage that I like to keep beside my desk (as that's where I spend most of my home time). I'm looking for somewhere to live longer term (at least a year) and for an unfurnished bedroom. I also have a little futon couch and a fridge to bring with me that can either be used or stored in a garage if not needed.
If you want to talk, please text first so I don't assume you are a tele-marketer etc. Quiet, but conveniently located, area in dead end street. Leafy outlook. Pool. Small veggie garden. Larger front garden. Large lounge room, unfurnished & not getting much use at present. Large front balcony, rear patio. Dining area next to kitchen. At present there is room for dining and living room furniture if you have some. Michael has only recently moved in. I have been living downstairs for 2 years and didn't have any furniture in those 2 areas. Will probably put pool into economic hibernation soon unless you are a Spartan. Clean-as-you-go in shared areas. Rent and bill-share to be paid promptly, so steady income essential. Internet to be connected shortly, will be economical due to sharing. It's a large brick 2-story house. I occupy the whole downstairs; Michael lives upstairs, where the available bedroom + small room also is. The available great bedroom is on the sunrise corner of the house, next to the very nice bathroom. It has built-in wardrobes with some drawers. As I live downstairs, I naturally don't want loud music or stomping on the floor, or re-arranging furniture at midnight. The toilet is separate to the bathroom. I use the other shower which is entered from the back yard, and have a toilet in my area, so you share the bathroom & toilet with one other person.
I am a 28 year old Engineer from Melbourne. I just moved up from Melbourne and looking to share a place in the west side of Brisbane. I like to keep shared areas clean and organised and I am looking for flat mates that would do the same. My weekdays mainly revolve around work, so quite early nights but feel free to get loud on the weekend !!
Friendly caring self aware couple, homebodies moving from Melbourne to Brisbane and seeking a place to land when we arrive there. Short term 3-6 months length, must be non smoking household. Kim is a graduate student and works in education and care settings and Sue is in sales. We have the most gentle adorable dog who lives inside with us. We love tv and watching movies, eating out, going to the cinema, swimming, the beach, travel, rugby league, reading and the internet. We also have two cats who will be in boarding until we find a great new place.
