I don't smoke, drink, or do drugs, and don't plan to take up doing any of those either. I clean up after myself, and mostly keep to myself in general though am quite happy to have a chat. I mostly spend a lot of time at my computer for fun (and keep things fairly quiet as I only use headsets). I'm originally from South Australia and moved to Geelong at the end of March in 2016 so although I know my way around Geelong fairly well now am hopeless with regards to most of Victoria and or when people give me directions by names of streets/refer to suburbs.
I'm a considerate tidy and quiet housemate happy to have a chat and socialise when needed. I'm somewhat of a geek and when asked about tv shows movies or other things that interest me I can go on about it! I love to cook and share my cooking with people who like a variety of food!! I love getting to know people and I promise if you ever need someone to go shopping with I will be more than happy to come with and give ideas on fashion movies or video games! I have a playstation 4 as well so have lots of games to bring in if you enjoy gaming!

I am super chill and love meeting new people, I'm always keen for a drink and going out! I would be a tidy room mate and am very respectful. I don't have any pets with me but would love to move in to a place with some already! Hi, Would be shifting soon to Melbourne for my post-grad studies at Deakin University. I’m looking for an accommodation with people from diverse culture. I’m very friendly and I like to keep my surroundings clean. I’m very easy to live with and respect people’s privacy. I'm punctual with bills and rent. Looking forward to hearing from you :)
I'm a 23 yo female Geelong local and looking for somewhere come the end Jan/start Feb 2018 as my lease will be up then. I work in hospitality roughly 4-5 days a week and a couple of nights a week. I am fun, friendly and easy to get along with. Pet lover. Non-smoker (but I don't discriminate against those who do). I clean up after myself and would ask the same from my housemates. I have been told I am easy to live with by a roommate before who worked from home so I understand and respect that at times people need their space and quiet time. I have my own furniture, so I am not looking for a furnished room. I am also happy to meet up and discuss team ups. Really just want to move in with some cool people and make lifelong friends :)
New Zealander. I tidy up after myself and tend to get along with everyone. Always pay my bills and try to live a reasonably active lifestyle. I have just secured full time work near Barwon Heads. Currently living in temporary accommodation and looking for a more permanent place to live.
Clean, social but like privacy, working regular hours. Love to work-out/walking. Love love animals, I have a beautiful pup who is 4 y/o Very friendly and well trained. Thankyou :)
Important stuff first: >> Looking for a place with a maximum of 4-5 tenants/bedrooms. >> I need a covered parking spot for my car due to safety reasons. >> I really need some place to live in the locations I've listed. Other than that, no deal. >> I don't do meals for everyone in the house. I'm happy to be included in the cleaning roster (if there is one) but definitely not meal prep roster. Please sort your own meals, thanks. > International Deakin uni student, final year undergrad in architecture/constr. management (due to finish end of 2018) > I'm employed - a professional designer in the construction industry (part-time when uni is in session, full time during breaks) > I love peace and quiet. The occasional party doesn't bother me provided I've been given an early notice. A chat here and there doesn't hurt as well. > Strangers are okay, provided they aren't freeloaders. > I'm a busy person so I'm rarely home (less fuss, less drama). > Pays rent on time (Always). > Clean and tidy person. Happy to split up house chores. I have terrible skin allergies when the place gets too dusty. > Non-smoker. Light drinker. > Friendly, watches footy once in a while, GoT too. > Loves pets, especially big doggos! > Avid gamer. I'm a PC person but I do enjoy a round or two of multiplayer games on consoles. > I'm a bit of a tech geek. I can fix/assemble your computers (Windows only) for small favours (maccas run mostly :P) > Respectful of other people's privacy, personal views and space. > If you play sports, I'm happy to join you in your games. I need the exercise anyway. XD In short: I'm big on cleanliness, independence, kindness and respect.
Hi! Our names are Merryn and Bryony and we are looking for an easy-going friendly housemate to move into our established house. We are located in Marshall just behind the train station. House is fully furnished, you would just have to furnish your room. There is one spacious master bedroom available, with a walk in robe and ensuite. Room comfortably fits a queen bed as well as two bedside tables, double dresser, standing mirror and desk. Bedroom has three powerpoints throughout the room, and tv antenna point. House comes with a dishwasher, all the usual appliances and cookware, heating and air conditioner, and solar heated gas which helps to keep bills down. NBN has just become available in our area this month and we will be upgrading soon. We are both clean and tidy and are looking for like minded people. Unfortunately, the landlord has said no pets. Available from the 8th December, bond is $500 and rent is $165 per week. Rent includes all communal cleaning products, toilet paper, kitchen supplies and a cleaner that comes fortnightly. Bills are split as they come.
This is a newly build home (2015) in Armstrong Creek, in a nice, quiet and friendly community. It's a 10 minute drive to CBD Geelong, 10 minutes to Deakin Waurn Ponds University and 15 minutes to Torquay. Waurn Ponds shopping centre only is minutes away. There is a large local shopping centre within walking distance, with ALDI and Woolworths, plus many speciality shops. There is a good bus route to Geelong and surrounding areas and public transport travel time to Southern Cross, Melbourne just over 1.5 hours. I have just back to Australia after living and working abroad for two years. It is a cool 4 bed room, dual living, with large kitchen and open dining area. There is a patio area and garden and large area of grass. It features heating and AC. There is a small gym set up in the garage. On street parking also. I am advertising one double room. Short stays of one week or less will be concidered on request. Price negotiable for stays under a week. Bills are all inclusive, including unlimited WIFI (NBN to the premises at 100mbps download). I have had lots of experience with house share and inclusive bills make things so much easier for all. I am happy to re consider if you wish to bill share. The house is fully furnished including the bedroom (queen bed). If you have furnishings that you wish to move in with, that can be easily accompanied for. I want to make this house fun, extremely likeable and liveable to all. Move in date is any time. Please see photos :)
Hi If you do not have a profile set up and an active listing I will not reply to you. I am looking to rent out a room in my 3 bedroom house. I am a professional 33 year old working full time in Geelong and would like to share with a mature person in their 30's who has a steady job, is friendly, respectful and clean. I am pretty quiet during the week and on weekends I like to get out and about and hang out with friends, go out for brunch, head down to the beach for walks, go out for drinks and sometimes I just want to watch a movie in my pj's on a sat night. I live a relatively healthy lifestyle and would like to live with someone that is similar. It would be great to live with someone that is happy to have the occasional meal, beer or wine together. We don't want to live in each other's pockets but it's nice to be social. 10 min walk to Marshall station with trains to Geelong CBD, Melbourne CBD, Warrnambool. 15/20 min drive to Geelong CBD / Torquay / Barwon Heads There is also an IGA and Aldi supermarket close by. Anytime Fitness and F45 are practically around the corner if you're looking for a gym. Rent is $200 per week including bills, toilet paper and cleaning products in the rent. 4 weeks bond and 2 weeks rent in advance. The bedroom has a ceiling fan and comfortably fits a queen bed, 2 bedsides and a chest of draws in it depending how you set the room up. You would have the main bathroom whilst I have an ensuite but visitors will also use this bathroom so cleanliness is a must. There is lots of cupboard space in the bathroom. Looking for a person that also pitches in around the house to keep a nice home to enjoy and relax in. There is a backyard with an outdoor setting and grassed area and garden which I will take full responsibility for and don't expect you to do anything out there but enjoy it. This is definitely not a party house and is a smoke and drug free house. Drugs will 100% not be tolerated. Sorry no couples. I don't currently have Internet as I have a large data allowance on my phone but would be happy to go halves in connecting it on a month to month contract. If you are interested in short or long term please contact me and we can have a chat and go from there. Cheers, Nikki :)
Hey i'm Ben, I'm 21. Just finished my second year of a Bachelor of International Studies/Commerce. I'm also working 4-5 days a week over the summer so preferably looking for somewhere to live for the next 12 months or so but am flexible with that. Originally from Ballarat and go home quite frequently. I'm very clean, pretty easy going and reasonably quiet. Enjoy kicking back and watching a movie or two, also don't mind having pets around.
So i'll be honest straight up ... I have no idea how to sell myself on this thing. I'm 21 (22 in November) I work as a medical receptionist in Corio 3 days a week and volunteer at Geelong Hospital. I'm born and bred Geelong so I know my way around the joint. I'm currently looking for a room to rent within in Geelong for myself (Single pringle). I have previously rented alone but for the past year moved home to save money for travel (I traveled across the USA it was amazing!!!!!!!!!) I currently study online as well and am due to finish my Cert III in Business in January 2018 and I am hoping to attend Uni (fingers crossed hopefully Deakin Uni as well but at this age you can't be too picky with where you're accepted) next year studying something within Health Industry or go full-time with work should this not work out and save to travel once again. Basically i'm looking for a place I can call my own but that also comes with some cool people who are down for a chat, socialize, make new friends or watch some tv after a long day but also respect that people sometimes just need their own space. I'm described as an extroverted introvert ... I can be quiet but once you get to know me or i'm a view glasses down I can be quite crazy. I love reading, movies, tv series and my own space but am also more then happy to have the occasional crazy night out the town and dance until 3am (this is rare as i'm basically a grandma now that prefers to be asleep by 9pm with a good book and hot chocolate but I can pull it off when required promise!!!)and spend the next day hungover trying to drink Gatorade out of a bottle without lifting my head to much. Also i'm extremely clumsy and weird but I promise i'm just trying to do the best I can at this thing we call adulting. I also ramble when I get nervous as you can tell by this whole thing. But yeah I guess that's me really.
Hi all, I'm Josh, I'm 22, and I'm looking for a room under $140/week within 20mins of the CBD of Geelong in Early December. Not looking for a party house or smokers. I'm pretty easy going and tend to get along with everyone. About me... I have recently been employed by the City of Greater Geelong as a Lifeguard and Swim Teacher at Leisurelink, Kardinia, Splashdown and hopefully more to come! I have been a Lifeguard and Swim Teacher in Colac for the past 2 years but want to move to Geelong in early December as in addition to work, I'm also studying Cert IV Fitness @ VFA waterfront campus. ... And also to get out of Colac 😂 I also want to move up to Geelong to join Geelong Swimming Club and try to make Nationals! I've been with Colac club since 2009, but I'm training with 13 year olds at the moment and I want someone to push me haha. I'm not a smoker or a heavy party goer. But like a drink on the odd social occasion :P I love music and play a bit of guitar (just an acoustic, I don't use an amp don't worry haha). And I do my own dishes! However a 5am alarm would be a constant lol. If you have any questions, just holler :)
Hey! I'm Kat. I'm going to be study medicine at deakin waurn ponds in 2018. I used to go to highschool in Geelong, moved to Melbourne for my undergrad, did a couple years of backpacking, travelling and working in europe, and now I'm back. A bit about me: Ambivert Social gamer/boardgamer (e.g. DOTA 2, Overwatch; Mansions of madness, Bang) Animal lover Social drinker and occasional partier with a fine appreciation for carlton draft Group fitness gym enthusiast I do aerial hoop and pole dancing for fun, definitely not any good I play violin and piano in orchestras also for fun, probably my more skilled hobby My favorite show of all time is 'How I met your mother', so expect some puns non smoker, carnivore, Instagram noob but trying to learn I'm looking to share with people who are easy going, somewhat or very tidy, is a good mix of doing their own thing and wanting to socialize, is cool with friends coming over sometimes for some study seshes or beer, my boyfriend will visit from Melbourne and stay some weekends, respectful, if a smoker will always smoke outside. I am not looking for a party house (but not looking for a quiet antisocial house either). Hit me up if you think we're on the same page!
Working full time so want to move out of home closer to work, easy going and respectable. on weekends I often go out for brunch, workout or go out for a few bevs. would prefer people around the same age.
Fun, outgoing personality with a natural tendency to keep the house neat and clean. Respectful of others' ideas and opinions and compliant of any existing rules or regulations. Both individuals have lived on campus at Deakin University Waurn Ponds and are in the fourth year of their respective courses.
