My name is Chris, I am a 29 year old Plant Mechanic working full-time for WesTrac at Tomago. Looking to find myself a share house with some like minded peeps. I have had a lot of experience living in shared houses with both boys and girls at mixed ages in multiple households. I have also managed one once, so keeping clean, tidy, respectful and all bills paid on time is never an issue for me :P I am a sociable kind of guy and like to have a chat, go for walks, grab a coffe, watch a movie... normal house mate stuff but I also respect privacy and down time too :), I am also very into my health and fitness, so I like getting out and working out a lot, gaming, pop-culture and just in general a people person. I won't say no to a brewskie here and there and always cool if you want to have friends over and what not :P As a house mate, I am the kinda of guy who will grab something from the shops for everyone to use and not expect anything in return... drinks, food... Even just normal household items, I'll just grab them... I am super chill! Would love to find a place where we become friends instead of just living together, creates a good dynamic. I am super approachable so please feel free to ask any questions! :) Also love pets and will team up if peeps want to start our own joint.

Hello! I’m Kailani, a friendly and responsible 23 year old currently residing and working in the Hunter Valley. I recently graduated from the University of Newcastle and am looking to relocate to somewhere in the greater Newcastle region that will better suit the lifestyle that I want now that I have more spare time outside of work. Ideally I’m looking for a house or flat with any amount of other housemates. A must know is that I am married but my husband of almost 2 years, Joseph (27), resides full time in California. We try to see each other approximately every 2-4 months (currently longer due to COVID-19) taking turns in travelling to each other’s homes. So there will be periods where I will be gone for 2-3+ weeks while I visit him in California, but it is also possible that he will be coming to visit me for 2 weeks at some point in the future so it is imperative that this is ok, and I’d be happy to chip in more for bills if required. These visits are always planned months in advance and everyone else’s feelings toward this are always respected. We often also travel during this time. More about me; I love to stay active and healthy, head to the beach, go for a skate, and travel as much as I can. Like most people, I love food and therefore love to cook and cook for other people. I like to be social and enjoy having fun, good conversations and going out to cafe’s. I work during the week as well as weekend days and nights and am not the partying/ clubbing type. I am very respectful of other people’s privacy and lifestyles and expect the same respect. I am a sharing and caring person but my own time is extremely important to me, and a lot of the time I’m comfortable staying in my room and FaceTiming with my husband, or watching TV. I like to keep a very tidy household and am more than happy to share all necessary cleaning duties. I also love dogs and it would be a bonus if you have pets. Although the timeline is now very uncertain, I am currently in the process of gaining lawful residence in the United States, and am therefore looking for somewhere with a flexible length of stay from 6 -12 months. I will be continuing to work in the Hunter Valley and commute most days and some nights. My weekly budget is $260 including some bills. Please feel free to ask me any more questions and message me if you feel like I might be a good fit for your household. I look forward to hearing from you!

I’m a young professional guy who works full time for a major fashion and lifestyle brand. A bit of a workaholic is how I’ve been described! But in my downtime I’m a lover of nature, adventure, the beach, travel, books, art, music, yoga and coffee. Ex flight attendant who’s lived in a lot of different contexts and share houses, so I’m well experienced! I’m looking for a new place to call home in beautiful Newcastle! Would love to have a place where we can all catch up occasionally over dinner and drinks, but also be able to have some downtime when it’s needed. Very conscious around being sustainable and also when it comes to keeping my surroundings clean and tidy and always up for a chat! ☺️

Hey I'm Katie, 27 years old and currently living in Sydney. I'm planning to relocate to Newcastle and I'm looking for a sharehouse or to team up and start a new place. I'm currently living in my own place so I have all the fixings - furniture, appliances etc. I'm share-house trained, I'm easy going, clean and friendly. I'm pretty quiet but definitely ok with a housemate dinner or good movie. Not a big party person. I will be working part time to full time hours and returning to study next year to finish my nursing degree so I will be pretty busy! I have a very friendly cat called Charlie, he's toilet trained, big on snoozing. He's not great with other animals but wouldn't hurt a fly, we've lived with other animals before and he tends to just stay in my room and keep to himself. If you have room for me and Charlie, or would like to find a place with us I'd love to hear from you.

I'm a 27yo part-time retail worker, a lot of my extracurriculars have for obvious reasons been on hold this year so a lot of my spare time is spent reading, movie nights with friends and, thankfully again, the occasional dinner out. I'm a pretty chill roommate, I keep to myself a lot but definitely would like a house where we could all get along and hang out. I'm tidy and respectful of other people's space. I'm looking for a place for probably 6-9 months at this stage. Would prefer sharing with other girls and no couples, but down for exceptions for the right house. Pretty flexible with area as long as there's some kind of parking option. My only sticking point is please have air conditioning (having rented 2 places now with no air con i can safely say I want to leave that life behind me haha). Love animals and not allergic if you have them. Also down for team ups for new places :)
