Hi all, I’m looking for preferably an unfurnished 1 bedroom granny flat within the greater Sydney region preferably on the north shore/northern beaches. I’ve lived in my current property for 9 years without any issue paying rent on time. I work for the Australian Public Service in a 9-5pm role and really enjoy what I do. In my downtime I either like to go out to restaurants/cafes, movies or discovering new things around Sydney.
Hi, I am a 27 year old school teacher from the Central Coast and am looking for a place for next year on the Northern Beaches. I also have a 6 year old kelpie Lexi who will come as part of the package. I love staying active and am very clean and tidy! Let me know if you have any questions
Hi, my name is Sarah, I’m 33, from Iran and a database administrator with PR visa. Actually on October 2017 I granted for PR visa and that was a new main start in my life. On December 2017 and January 2018 I had my first visit of Australia-Sydney and now Im overseas in my country , Iran, to pack my staffs and getting ready to move to Australia, permanently and although I have a job in Iran, I’m looking for job in Sydney as well. Im working as a graduated software engineer in Database Adminitration field for near 12 years . Now With a confirmed flight ticket for 9th August, I’m looking for a room to settling in Sydney . I’m social, easy going, chilled, clean, tidy and dont smoke. I’m trying to experience new advantures around the world. Now as a granted PR in Australia, im trying to start a new life and im so curious to exploring this country! I was waiting about 2 years to be there and finally I have it ! But whenever i would be, I cant stay without music, traveling , running, hiking and waaater! Oh swimmingg, im an august’s girl ! My family and my best friends are the most valuable in my life . Haha i forgot ! One of my favourites to do is cooking new foods ! So, I hope to find an appropriate place in Sydney to stay . Its really important to me to have somewhere , warm and ok , shared with someone , with good personality, when I’ll enter Sydney on August. Because at the moment Im overseas, my Australia contact number is unreachable, but my contact number in Iran is active until then on
Hello! I am a 28 year old Indian female. I work full time in Sydney CBD and I am looking for a private furnished room in a shared apartment ready to move in on 8th Jan 2018. I am looking at the following suburbs- Surry Hills, Strathfield, Chatswood, North Sydney, walking distance to the train station but I am open to other suburbs. I am particular that the apartment is non-smoking, clean and quiet for the most part. I am friendly and always up for a chat and some tea. When I am not working I like to cook, watch trash on YouTube and just laze around. And oh, I love pets, so if you have one you can count me in for some pet sitting/ walking and other such chores. :) Please feel free to get in touch if you think I could be your prospective flatmate. Cheers!
Respectful, easy going, clean, considerate. I am a mature woman not a granny who is looking to share a home that is safe, friendly and clean. I am not a party animal and whilst at home I like to watch movies and documentaries on Netflix etc with wine in hand. I am a private person but always up for a chat and occasional meal together. I have a quirky sense of humour and I love a good laugh. I currently live and work on the Central Coast but want to move to Sydney to be of support to my parents who have just very recently moved into a nursing home. I will still commute to work until I find something closer. I am used to commuting. I have a beautiful cat called Valentina, Vali for short who is my baby. She is very shy but once she gets to know you she is fine. She has lived with a cat and a dog before and there were no issues, however if a dog was to start barking at her she would get very scared. She would need to be around calm pets. I have a reference from my current landlord who has had me since Sept 2009 with my cat Valentina. Available upon request. I have no issues with outside smokers. Will send photo of me privately if requested, that photo is obviously my cat lol. What else can I say? Any further questions please ask. Thank you
Hi future roommate person/s! How weird is it to write about yourself? I'm a 25 year-old male slave working and studying full-time. I’ve just moved up from Melbourne to Sydney to study at USYD. With whatever time I have spare I love to chill with video games, watching anime and having the odd Mario Kart competition to assert my dominance (Fkn shotgun Peach bruh). I also part take in the masochistic activity of learning Japanese 😭. I'm a bit of a dork, love to make people laugh and find the humour in almost anything. The more dark and sarcastic your humour, the more we'll get along swimmingly. I’m pretty flexible with locations, so open to anywhere in the city (though, I’m not keen on moving to Penrith).
I'm a quiet female professional who loves her own space and privacy. However I am very friendly and cheerful even though I don't like noisy atmosphere. I am a non-smoker and non-drinker of alcohol. I am very clean and tidy and would appreciate sober housemates. 😊
Hi Im Vivien, 24 years old, very quiet and respectful and extremely clean person looking for a share house/apartment. I have 3 little Scottish Fold kittens with me, they are very friendly, 100% toilet train and have their own litter robot which clean itself without any mess.
Hi, my name is Betti, I am a 24 year old Veterinarian student from Germany. Currently doing placement at the Small Animal Specialist Hospital in North Ryde. I only need accommodation for a few weeks. I am a polite, friendly, clean individual and the room must be furnished. Doing some dogsitting job for less rent would be the best option for me! :) Thanks :)
I had really great spiels written here but I closed the tab accidentally... twice. Anyway, about me: I'm a young professional software engineer, an innovator entrepreneur thinker rockstar, with the world in his shoulders and chips in his eyes, or something. I'll be working full-time in Sydney until at least October 2018. I'm pretty quiet and reserved, but love a good argument and/or discussion about really anything at all, learning, drawing, programming, all sorts of beverages, and bike riding (I don't actually do much of it in Sydney, though).
Hey, I’m a 20yo bi trans woman in a long term relationship with my girlfriend (but living alone), looking to live somewhere convenient to the city with other queer peeps. I work as a theatre lighting technician & designer, as well as a freelance electronics engineer. This means basically, my work hours can be either the morning or the evening, depending what I’m doing, and sometimes I work from home. I need lots of space to keep my equipment, but nothing I need to do is noisy (I visit a workshop for that). I’m also happy to offer tech support and general handy skills anywhere I’m staying :) I’m an introvert and very mild social drinker.
Hey, I am a visiting postgrad student at Macquarie University. I am from Germany and I have lived in shared flats my whole student life. I love sports, little adventures, sharing food and stories. I am tidy and uncomplicated. My budget is very limited (100-150 would be perfect), thus I am looking for a very simple room, furnished would be perfect!
Hey everyone :) Just arrived in Sydney last week and am looking for accomodation starting as soon as possible. Please also let me know if you have any short-term options ( 1 - 3 weeks). I am currently doing my masters in Business administation/Marketing at the University of Hamburg in Germany and will be spending a semester at Macquarie University in the Masters of Research program. Having lived in a variety of shared appartements during my time at uni in Hamburg and while spending a couple of months in Spain after high School, I like to claim that I am easy to live with and get along with most people. :) I would prefer a private & furnished room in a location which is not toooo Long (less than 1,5 h) of a commute to Macquarie Uni (though preferably more central or closer to the beach than right next to the university). I love to travel, try to go the gym (sometimes more, sometimes less motivated), meet up with friends .....just pretty usual stuff. My Student visa expires July 31st, so I will either head back around that time or try to stay a little longer with a tourist or working holiday visa. Feel free to contact me with any questions or if you think you might have an acommodation option that could fit. :) Sandra
I go rock climbing a lot and I'm really easy-going. Clean and quiet but always up for a pint or two at the end of the day
