Hi, I will be moving from Melbourne to Brisbane at the end of January / early February. I have a few prospective job offers waiting in Brisbane, as a truck driver. Yes I do have children but they live elsewhere in brisbane and will not be living / staying with me. I consider myself a considerate and tidy housemate and think it's important to strike the right balance between a functional friendship and giving a housie some space! I have experience with sharing a flat / house and can provide a reference from my present landlady / housemate. Although I am a smoker I prefer a house where smoking is outdoors only. Finally, I am pet-friendly. Hope to hear from you soon. With kind regards, Paul
Hi! Work full-time enjoy chill weeks gym getting outdoors and leading an active lifestyle. Enjoy the odd beer or two, clean and respectful of others and their opinions. Non smoker no kids team player.
LOOKING FOR HOME TO MOVE INTO IN 2019 JAN/FEB or later. I will be looking for a home in Brisbane to move into in early 2019 as I begin my psychology degree at UQ at the end of February. I'm currently on the Gold Coast. This is what I'm looking for, let me know if you match 😊: • Walking, biking or under 30min public transport distance to UQ in St Lucia • With a large size room with lots of natural light, and at least big enough for a double bed, bedside table, large desk, mirror, a few wardrobes and storage spaces. • With outdoor area/s that get a decent amount of direct sun all throughout the day. • Close to a gym and supermarket 💪🏼 • With not a bare and limited kitchen • With nearby public transport to and from fortitude valley and the city preferred About me: I'm positive and ambitious, and both a respectful and open person :) I'm very health conscious and make all my own meals which are wholefood plant- based- however I'm really not fussed on what anyone else eats. I love cooking for others 😁💖 I do aerial acrobatics and yoga, love nature and making friends. I'm passionate about eco-sustainability, nutrition, fitness, mental wellness and personal development. 😊😄😁💪🏼💗
I’m easy for a chat, but I’ll mostly keep to myself. I’m tidy and any mess I create in common areas will be cleaned up without hassle. I’ve just graduated high school and am looking for somewhere; anywhere! to live as a semi-permanent solution. Roommates wouldn’t bother me but as well as that I’m happy with no roommates. I enjoy all sorts of activities so in my spare time I’ll probably be out and about seeing what there is to do around the city and when I’m not I’ll be at home with my earphones in and head in a book.
Hello, my name is Joe, I work full time from home as my company is based in Sydney. However, my job as a Sales Manager for Asia and Africa has me traveling about 6 months of the year (broken up of course). I'm easy going, but still tidy, lived in plenty of share accommodation so understand the do's and don'ts of living with housemates. Keen to get in somewhere relatively quickly as my current housemate wishes to move back to Noosa and really the apartment I am currently in is too small. I enjoy Gym, BJJ and attempting guitar, love the outdoors, fishing, spearfishing and camping. Non-smoker but don't mind a few social drinks or glass of wine. So would be good to find someone who is like minded and a working professional to live with.
FOOD AND BILLS INCLUDED!! its a great place to live near parks and river. The property is a large 6 bedroom house. Well set up for everybody to have privacy or inclusion. All modern cons and its walking distance to Indooroopilly Shops, Chelmer and Indooroopilly Railway Stations, river, parks, cafes and in a nice quiet street. Granite kitchen and bathrooms. Large deck, BBQ Easy to get to UQ - 1 bus, 15 mins to CBD by train. Walk to Indooroopilly bus station. $230 per week with self serve breakfast 7 days or $260 per week with dinner included 5 nights. Working part time, studying full time in the animal care industry, I am quiet, clean & respectful. Looking for a pet friendly household that would enjoy the company of my outside Golden Retriever.
I am a student attending South Bank TAFE starting in late January and currently working as a retail assistant in Ipswich, so being close (walking distance) to a bus stop or train station is a necessity. I'm moving by myself with my cat, Juliette, who is nearly 2 years old. She is desexed, an indoor cat, and non-destructive. She is very shy and afraid of most people, but not at all violent. She will stay well out of your business and her food and kitty litter will be kept in my room. I attend karate biweekly in Redbank and cosplay conventions about 2-4 times a year. These are also my main two hobbies. I am an extremely friendly and easy to talk to person, always excited and open to meeting new people. I am a good cook, fairly quiet not interested in throwing parties or anything like that and extremely clean. I look forward to getting to know you.
Looking for a peaceful retreat to call home. Work part-time and study 1 day a week. A quiet and convenient place would be ideal. I am respectful of property, not a party animal, non-smoker and no pets either.
Hi! I'm Emma, 23 years old from Brisbane. Looking for a new place to live with some cool, like-minded people.
I'm rarely home Monday to Friday due to working long hours. I need a quiet place to sleep. On weekends, I'm usually out and about. I'm respectful of others' privacy and time. I would prefer a place that accepts a pet (4kg poodle, very old and quiet) - however, she would only be with me weekends and maybe 1 night a week. I would love somewhere safe to park my car, but also has great public transport options!
My name's David, I'm 29 and work full time in Construction. I'm looking for a place to stay for a few months.
Hi all! Just a really down to earth guy. I consider myself a really clean person and I'll keep to myself most days and nights as I'll be out early and back late. Nonetheless, I love food like most people, so we could have fortnightly/weekly dinners? Ideally, I'm looking for place to live at for about 6 months. It'll be a plus if the room/house is clean and housemates are cool/easy going. Cheers. Shaun
Very clean respectable people, hard working sociable, working full time with early start hours and always respectable of everyone else in the house, love going out for lunch or movies and socializing and respecting one's privacy
Looking for all-female house/flat (with no boyfriend-sleepovers) close to good public transport, quiet and safe area and house, considerate and responsible housemates who are friendly but give personal space, and no cats (if possible) or dogs. Fish and chickens are okay! : ) Prefer similar age-range/ 28-45. I've received a lot of messages that don't actually fit any of that, so please respond only if you/your place actually meet these things - not guys, sorry, and please within this price range! I'm responsible, mature, clean and considerate, and want housemates who also have these habits. Outside space for gardening is great, but not essential, and somewhere to store my things - read, lots of boxes! (garage space, under-the-house, shed, or part of a spare room). I'll also consider suburbs near those I've listed.
I’m a friendly, relaxed, clean and tidy girl looking for a room to rent for at least 12 months. I work part-time and study two courses full-time. I love cooking, working out, going out socialising, the beach and exploring new places as much as I can. I also like my own space and am respectful of other's. Looking to move anywhere between now and the 9th of February. :)
I’m about to begin a degree in Fine Arts (writing) at QUT, work part-time for a travel/outdoor gear retailer, & love reading, learning, my time outdoors, food, & trying new things (like surfing & boxing recently). Looking for a relaxed but respectful, fresh, clear & tidy environment to call home. Enjoy a good conversation over tea at home or going for coffee or walk, some music or a movie (in or out), but also like time to quietly focus on my commitments and am considerate of your peace, time & space also.
I am a Primary School Teacher. I love music. Used to be a musician. I am pretty quiet and keep to myself (prepping for lessons and playing computer games most nights) but I love to have a beer and a chat. I am not a smoker and I will not necessarily have a pet, but I am fine with both (insofar as the smoking is not inside).
I am very clean, keep to myself most of the time, work full time, and have a very active lifestyle. If I’m not at the gym, I’m playing netball or TRL or hanging out with friends. My little companion is very low maintenance, she loves cuddles and attention, and house trained if need be. she’s always been an inside dog however loves walks.
I'm currently working full-time in Ipswich but looking to transfer to Brisbane CBD and looking for a place in between the two locations. In my spare time I like being outdoors. Looking to stay for 6-12 months, longer if things work out. Hoping for a place with people of similar age, with two other housemates at the most. My current lease ends mid-Feb. Recently out of a long-term relationship so for the last ten years I have kept my own place, and I value privacy. I have some furniture that I would like to bring with me including a washing machine, couch, hallway table in addition to bedroom furniture however I do have the option to store or sell.
My name is Sandie. I am a hard working University Student looking for somewhere quiet to complete my studies. I have a quiet, small-medium dog and cat, who are well behaved, and have lived previously in rentals with no troubles. I enjoy a clean house, both common areas and my room, and will maintain outside areas as well. Please message me if I sound like the room mate for you.
I’m an open minded, mature and artsy individual. I’m currently studying a double degree in design and business. I’m very quiet and love nothing more than having down time watching a film or going for a quiet drive out of brisbane. I’m looking for a tidy and quiet sharehouse in which I can build a homey haven.
I'm fairly more easy going than most as I have travelled around Australia and lived overseas. I'm an academic and a blue collar worker. You name it I've done it. Here and overseas Pretty much, I am your quintessential old world scientist. Not interested in profit but knowledge. Currently I am editing my own book on Infectious Disease with plans for the second book. So yes, I spend a lot of time in front of a computer. To pay for this lifestyle I work in Warehouses. Odd right. I'm just looking for a quiet, non-party place where I can relax and write. Nothing too complicated.
Hi, my name is Matt, I am 24 and a HPE teacher working full time and looking for a 12 month lease. I am clean, respectful and courteous and have lived in share houses before with no issues and remain good friends with former housemates. I enjoy listening to music (dont worry I have headphones) and socialising with friends. I enjoy meeting new people, going for coffees/drinks and play in a mens basketball competition at Auchenflower.
I go to gym regularly, looking to move to city , currently work 8-12 a day, i would like close to shops, restaurants and live entertainment close by, I would like house mates the are respectful, clean and tidy that will occasionally watch Netflix and have a drink. I'm easy going. would like to find somewhere to rent that is about $150-160 including bills.
Hi! My name is Stephen and I am currently studying Graphic Design at Tafe up at Southbank. I would describe myself as a chill, quiet person and tend to keep to myself most of the time. I am also working part-time at a framing factory, making picture frames. Other than that I'm studying and completing school work most of the time. I cycle a lot, but public transport is my main mode of transportation.. a place close to some public transport would be ideal as I'm a student. Internet is preferred, but not needed Hope to hear from you soon! :D
Hi my name is Bailey, I'm 19 and Australian born and bred. I'm an aspiring musician looking to study music at Tafe. I play the drums and keyboard but have headphones and an electronic drum kit so noise is no worry. Im used to the sharehouse lifestyle, I mostly keep to myself but do enjoy being social once I get to know my roommates. In previous housing I have always paid rent on time and in full without problems and this will continue. I enjoy listening to music but am respectful of noise and others wishes.
Professional, sensible, courteous, clean and responsible male. Just moved back to Brisbane and will be buying a house in the next 6 months but am looking to share or get my own place to rent while I settle back in and get used to Brissy again. Find our the best suburbs, cafes, restaurants and lifestyle here. I work out at the airport but don’t necessarily need to live that close to there. Have a small dog and do a lot of outdoors stuff in my downtime including in rescue ops on weekends. I have furniture and things in storage but ideally looking for something furnished however can get my furniture out of storage. Hope this helps Regards Sean
I’m a property manager, originally from Perth and been in Brisbane for almost 2 years. I have a border collie who is my world and would love a place with a backyard! I spend a lot of time reading and am interested in learning an instrument this year!
We recently moved to Brisbane from England for 6 months. Jack will be playing semi professional rugby and we both will be working full time. We're very chilled and enjoy having a few cocktails, love to meet new people and try new things.
Hey guys I'm Jess! :) I'm 22 years old and am currently studying to be a physio assistant with plans to later go on and study audiology. I currently work in retail part-time! Here's a little about me! - I am very interested in health and wellness - eating a vegan plant-based diet. - I am also very passionate about living with zero waste and caring for the environment for future generations. - I enjoy vinyasa yoga, pilates, baking, photography, going out for breakfast, Netflix and living an active lifestyle! I would love to move in with a group of people who have a similar mindset and are super friendly, supportive and would help make our home feel homely and like a second family. Also, someone who can also keep a relatively clean house and focus on study when required. I'm super keen to move in with a bunch of easy going and social people who are interested in becoming close friends early next year! If you have a place that you think I would fit in well with or even want to team up to find a place feel free to send me a message! :) Thanks, Jess!
Hi! Im an easy going gal working full-time as a software developer in Seventeen Miles Rocks. I’m looking for a room in a friendly, laid-back and clean home. In my down time I love having a few beers and bingeing trashy Netflix shows.
I have one room available in my house in Graceville. The rooms is $140 for a double bedroom with a built in wardrobe that includes hanging space and an ample amount of drawers. The room also has a ceiling fan and a lot of windows with fly screens. It can easily fit a double bed and a desk. The house itself has a huge modern kitchen, a spare bedroom, one large bathroom (shower and bath) with a separate toilet, a garage with an automated door, and a huge downstairs area that you could turn into whatever you wanted (I haven't furnished the space). The downstairs area has a bit of a dungeony feel to it imo, but if you want to have your room there that's fine by me too. The house is located super close to public transport- 7 minutes walk to the train station (Ipswich line) and 3 minutes walk to city or Indooroopilly bound buses. It is also situated closely to local cafes, restaurants and parks. Good public transport to QUT, UQ and Griffith University. Unfortunately Olive is terrified of cats so we cannot have any on the property. We will consider dogs, but it will be contigent on the real estate's and Olive's approval.

I also have a cat, (he's quite old and tends to mind his own business) and 3 chickens so no pets is preferred but otherwise they all must get along.
