    Early bird

$300/week24 year old woman and man

Hiya! My partner, Finn, and I are looking for community-based housing or somewhere we feel at home. We are heading to Finn’s home in Canada for about 4 months in September so are looking for something until then or somewhere we can sublet for those months we’re away. We are flexible on the move in date. We were living in a communal house of 10 people in Vancouver for over a year and a half and so are very experienced living with people and love the connection it brings! 💚ABOUT US💚 My name is Emily, but you can call me Milly! I’m 24 years old born and raised in Adelaide. I travelled to Canada a couple years ago where I met Finn whilst working at a summer camp as an archery instructor. I was an early childhood educator and nanny, and have just started working as a disability support worker. I also perform as a fire spinner. I’m super open-minded, loving and out-going, and love connecting with people no matter who they are! I have a zest🍋 for life and want to be constantly pushing myself out of my comfort zone and trying new things. I’m open to ✨spirituality✨ and love learning about peoples beliefs and morals. I have MANY ever-changing hobbies as I love to learn new things! Some of these hobbies include fire spinning, acrobatics/acro yoga, painting and drawing, slacklining, bouldering, dancing, aerial arts and more! I also love exploring and being in the outdoors as much as possible; camping, swimming, cycling, canoeing, running, hiking! My ☮️philosophy💜 in life is prioritising connection and experiences over materialism and validation. I am vegetarian🌱, but am ok living with people who eat meat. I also don’t drink or smoke. Finn is also 24 years old, born in Canada, but spent many years growing up in the Philippines and China. He has recently graduated from the University of British Columbia with an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering. In between studying, he has been working as a gardener🪴. Finn is in Australia on a working holiday visa and is working as a groundskeeper for Flinders Uni. He is very easy going and wonderful to be around! He is wicked at music, in particular guitar🎸! In the summer camp we worked at, he ran multiple canoe trips🛶 including a 3 week canoe trip in the Arctic with a group of teenage boys. He loves the outdoors and is excited to explore Australia! Finn is Pescatarian🌱🐟. He doesn’t smoke but enjoys the occasional drink. 🧡WHAT WE CAN OFFER🧡 We cooked and shared many communal meals in our house in Vancouver. If we lived in a share house again, we would be more than happy to cook and share some yummy vegetarian or vegan meals for the people we live with! We are also very diligent in making sure we do our part in keeping the house clean and caring for its wellbeing. We would love to help in the garden or help start one! We also love skill sharing and are happy to teach and share our hobbies and interests, and learn new ones in return! We understand very well the importance of healthy communication when living with people and would want to live with people who care about communicating respectfully and effectively.
