Hey! I just moved to Melbourne from the UK on a working holiday visa. I'm hoping to spend a few months exploring and working in Melbourne before I set off to discover wilder places in Australia. I'm looking for a room in a shared house, ideally one that's social but not necessarily party-oriented. I am respectful of others, and having lived in London house shares for the last couple of years, also house-trained. I like cooking, baking, reading, cycling and listening to music as well going to gigs, cafes, exhibitions and occasional nights out. I am vegetarian and would ideally like to share with other veggie/vegans, but it's not a deal-breaker!
I’m quiet, clean, and respectful, but still love to socialize with my housemates
My names Luke, I’m 33 and I’m looking for a home to settle into hopefully for 12 months+. I’m neat, tidy and respectful. I like to cook and enjoy a drink from time to time. My week is pretty busy with My own gardening business 3 days a week and work 3 days at a plant nursery. I have lots of plants, indoors and out and would be keen to revive/ build a vege patch as well as whipping the garden into shape! When I’m not at work you might find me at a yoga class or having dinner with friends, I also enjoy exploring nature, plant nurseries, reading (currently half way through Sapiens and Dark Emu). I’m happy to live with lots of different kinds of people especially if they’re friendly, easy going, open minded and respectful. I in turn will offer kindness and open ear, respect and a bit of a laugh 😄 If you think I’d be a good fit for your home please send me a message! Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers
I’m Matty - I work for a food rescue charity 4 days a week and into sustainability. I like to spend my free time making music, spinning vinyls, hiking, bouldering/rockclimbing and taking photos. I also enjoy meditation and yoga, and attend workshops regularly. I also thoroughly enjoy making things from recycled timber. I don't mind a wholesome boogie too! I would ideally like to live in a conscious household that encourages a sustainable lifestyle. I am not strictly vegan or vegetarian but try to reduce harm as best I can in my dietary choices. I’d like to live with some chill people who can communicate openly and honestly and aren’t afraid to bring up anything that they need to bring up. I love a good conversation so ideally you will be social people that like to hang out and spend time together. I’d like to get to know my housemate/s well, and spend time enjoying each others company, however I enjoy time to myself and having my own space also.
Open minded, relaxed Guy from Germany. Interested in sport, nature, technologies. I'm looking for a accommodation: + with people of similar interests + a private room with a desk + close to/in Fitzroy
- Looking for a room to call home. It doesn't have to be anything fancy. Just big enough for a bed. - I am a student studying Economics. I also work as a Software Developer part-time. - Love to read books. Watch movies. Drink wine. Hangout with friends and family. - Respectful. Tidy. Strong housemate etiquette. - Happy to hangout with you but also happy not to hangout with you. - Won't steal your food but you can steal mine if you're that hungry.
I've just finished a masters degree in publishing and am working full time (in customer service currently, but set to start an actual publishing job in the next few weeks!). I've got about 5 years of house sharing behind me, so I'm on board with cleaning rosters etc, and I'm a pretty laidback and independent housemate - I could happily just read and listen to music all day, but I also love to bake, browsing markets and op shops, and I'm always down for chill dinners in/drinks out. I'm looking for somewhere long-term - a home rather than just a room - with relaxed and friendly housemates.
I'm a 31yrs old creative soul who works in hospitality part-time and is an artist/designer the rest of the time. I enjoy music and dancing but also enjoy being healthy, cooking and chilling. Like to hang out when it suits as am fairly social but also am a busy lady who enjoys a bit of time alone. Like a clean and tidy space for the most part but am not too full on Am wanting a place to live with lots of space and a backyard... possibly even a shed to use for creative ventures if I'm being optimistic
