Looking for a vegan household/team-up. Not because I don't associate with non-vegans but because the smell of meat cooking now makes me feel sick! I work full-time for city of boroondara, in infrastructure. Have been there two years and recently promoted, so work situation is rock solid. I'm into music, photography, art, hockey, travel. Used to living in a team of three. Don't have any pets or kids, no smokes/drugs, social drinker. From Melbourne and have always lived here. Like everyone, I like/need my solo time, but I also like a semi-regular chat/hangout with the roomies! Considerate to the needs of others, clean up after myself, can take constructive criticism and not be offended! Would love to find a couple of friendly people that I could be mates with & go out for a drink or gig here & there.
Hi, I'm Steph a 23 year old physiotherapist working at the Austin Hospital. I will be working full time 40 hours a week, some weekends and some evenings. I am a pretty active person who loves netball and the gym. I am mature and respectful but also social don't mind a quiet drink and a yarn. I am a mature and respectful person who likes to stay active with an avid joy of netball and the gym. I enjoy a social meal and drink but likewise I'm partial to keeping to myself. I am looking for a place where I can be a housemate not just rent a room and being that I'm still relatively new to Melbourne, moving from Canberra I am keen to meet new people and would love if my housemates could help me out with that.
I'm the kind of housemate who... ...You might encounter in the kitchen whipping up her latest creation whilst sipping a glass (or 3) of red wine.... ...works full time, and sometimes out for random hobbies (at the moment its rock climbing). ...will tend to socialise outside of the house, and come home to veg and relax. ...keeps things clean and tidy. ... loves to cook, eat, drink, garden, sail and travel... ...is a human slave to Coco, a cute and very shy little cat. She's housetrained, and so am I! And that you can come home to have a chat about your day (possibly over a glass of wine).
I recently moved back to Melbourne after a few years in Brisbane. I plan to study counselling in 2018. I am generally quiet, easygoing and respectful of others' space. I am a bit of a "neat-freak" so am more than happy to do my share of cleaning, etc. I don't mind a drink, enjoy a chat, cooking, eating out, listening to people's stories, playing the guitar, music generally, reading and am a keen runner.
I am looking for a great new sharehouse. Somewhere that I can call home with people who are like minded - fun, down to earth and respectful. I would love to start up a new house with 2 or 3 other people.
New to Melbourne as I'm moving from NZ in January. Have lived over in London for two years as well in big share houses and am very well house trained. Love to socialise, watch a good film, read a decent book, travel, cook, bake, and sleep!
Hi! My name is Caitlin, i'm a 24 year old Social Work student, in my last semester at Monash. I work part-time alongside uni. I come with a lop-eared bunny called Isabelle, an indoor bun who lives in a hutch, very quiet and clean. I spend my spare time binge-watching netflix and making art. I'm a friendly person who loves a good chat and wine, and socialising on the weekend, but also time alone. Tidy but not too worried about a bit of mess, I would like to live with housemates who are similar. Looking for a long-term home with housemates who want a similar vibe! Ideally I would like to start a new sharehouse however i'm open to existing houses as well.

We are a non-smoking introverted married couple with an old small Maltese x Shihtzu. We are clean, considerate and keep to ourselves. We both used to live in London and now have relocated back to Australia. We enjoy going out to try different cuisines and food offerings. Generally when we travel, it's all about the food. I am an Australian citizen, in my mid 30s. I moved to London to pursue a career in fashion. I was working in the headquarters of major luxury fashion companies primarily in Fashion Production. My husband is a Belgian Citizen in his late 20s. He is a Italian trained Leatherwork artisan. Prior to his training, he used to work in one of the world's most recognised luxury men's shoes brand. Sky is a 12 year old small Maltese x Shihtzu who is half blind. She is an indoor toilet trained, affectionate dog. She is the main reason we decided to move back to Australia.
Overseas now until the end of Jan! I am a local Melbournian, also a social and fun-loving person who is looking for a share house preferably 1-2 others, who share similar interests to me and enjoy a healthy balance of chats and wine time and alone time. During the week I am a full-time occupational therapist in Broadmeadows, I work with children with special needs- and love it! My interests include travel, languages, pets, food, coffee, wine and making sustainable lifestyle choices. Looking forward to having a chat...until then :)
Hi, My name’s Zam, and my buddy Dalai (a cheeky but loveable little Abyssinian cat) and I are looking for a new long term place in Northcote, Thornbury, or Brunswick East areas - budget is ideally $200-ish but willing to go higher for the right place. If I can I’m hoping to find a standalone house with a nice backyard. Bonus points for it being close to Terra Madre, and/or a vege patch for me to get my green thumb on again! About me - Early 30’s and earn my cash working full time as a Photoshop and video editor. I like cycling around town, staying fit and eating well, listening to music and also making a bit of it on my computer. Dalai on the otherhand has a big personality and it's impossible not to fall in love with him! He's a goofball and is quite interactive and playful, good natured, and affectionate. I know not everyone will have a place that allows pets, but I’m hoping we can find a place that suits us both, and with housemates that can also appreciate him. I’ve been share housing for the past 14 years so know the drill. I’m clean, respectful, open minded and easy going, prefer open communication and of course pay rent and bills on time. I’m looking to be in a place where the vibe is relaxed and social, but not a party house, while also respecting each others space for doing their own thing when it calls. I enjoy being able to have some stimulating, intellectual and/or silly banter and laughter with my housemates. Cheers
I'm 22 with one degree complete and another to begin in Feb 2017. I currently work full time in Richmond and will be going part time in 2018 while studying full time at ACU. I play sport and like to cook. I'm clean, hygienic and don't smoke. I mostly spend my time playing hockey, at a pub or watching the football. Looking to move into a place early to mid January 2018.
Hi, we are a couple from Utrecht (Netherlands). We are traveling to Melbourne because we heard its great city with lots of art and culture. Our plan is to stay in Melbourne for three months, to get to know the city and the people who live in it. Finding out how it's like to live in a complete different place. Eelke is a filmmaker and part time barista. Milou works at a car sharing startup.
We are a couple in our early twenties moving to Melbourne at the end of January 2018. Mitch is starting a new job in construction management and my partner studies law. We're both friendly, clean people who are happy to keep to ourselves but also enjoy getting to know our fellow housemates. We've have decided to complicate our lives and go on a holiday and will be back on the 20th of Jan so we need to move in somewhere between then and the start of February. We like to think we're relatively mature for our age. Definitely interested in having a few drinks on the weekend but have predominantly outgrown the party lifestyle. Bonus is that we have very few friends in Melbourne so wont be stealing the Saturday night pre drinks slot! Mitch will be working full time mon-fri and probably out and about socialising and playing sport in his free time. Looking to get back into football, cycling and general fitness. Life mission is to make the perfect pizza dough, still working on it but getting closer every time. Anna will probably be doing the opposite, namely watching the flix or reading a book and sinking some red. I also come with as many plants as you will allow me to have. I'll be attempting to study a couple topics in my third year of law long distance. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions, we're happy to oblige! Also if the move date is a little later than ideal but you think we'd make a good match don't hesitate to reach out and see if we can work something out.
Hi! I'm originally from India, but will be moving to Melbourne in Feb 2018 for a Masters program at the University of Melbourne. I'm tidy, respectful and reliable with payments. I am pretty social and would love to live in a house where I can hang out with my housemates. I enjoy soccer, gaming, binge-watching TV series and will always have time for a beer or two. I'm looking for a place preferably within a 8 mile radius from Unimelb.
We are two best friends; both respectful and kind young women who are moving states to study full time at tertiary institutions in Melbourne, one for photography and one for music. We are tidy, quiet and welcoming, and make every effort to get along with other residents, and, with the help of our Centrelink, future jobs, and parents, to pay our rent in full on time. We are both involved in the arts and also enjoy cooking, reading, cinema, socialising, animals and exercising.
I’m a Melbourne girl originally, and have been living in the same share house for the last 8 years (😱I know!!) but it’s getting sold so my time to move on. I’m a designer and work at a small graphic/brand design studio in Collingwood. I love doing creative things outside of work too, painting, drawing and complaining about the weather. I’m into hip hop, doom metal, Beyonce and 80s cheese. I love black, pink and tartan. Also enjoy wine, sleeping in, video games and nothing in the world makes me happier than feeding the people around me (can cook a mean veggie lasagne). I'm open minded, clean and respectable around the house, and past my partying days but love becoming friends with my housemates!
I'm a clean and respectful housemate. I enjoy a good communal dinner or some casual drinks and a chat, but also understand the concept of personal space ;) I've lived in plenty of share houses and know the drill ie. contributing to household chores, paying rent and bills on time. I prefer a peaceful and chilled environment, and I love gardening and indoor plants, so you can guarantee that there'll be lots of greenery around too! Plus, I have an adorable 3 y.o greyhound who will totally steal your heart (in the best possible way)!
I love making food and listening to jazz. Can easily demolish a bottle or two of wine and would love a place that have doggs!!! I work in hospo so I have weird hours at home but would be up for socialising anytime :) also VERY allergic to cats, so i cant live with a cat, sorry! message me if you think i would be a great fit :)
I'm friendly and easy to get along with but also keep to myself and respect other's privacy. I work full-time as an educator in childcare centre (so you don't have to worry about the late payment :D). I'm looking for a private room in a shared house or to team up with someone to rent the house. Location is not a big problem for me as long as it is in Melbourne and not too far from CBD. *Nice, clean and quiet area with lovely and friendly housemate(s) please*
Private room. Easily fits a Queen size bed, 2 bedside tables, and some extra furniture. Has inbuilt wardrobes, heating and air-conditioning. The house is mostly double brick so you don't hear much from either outside or the other rooms. The house is a 3 bedroom Victorian terrace. The house has 2 bathrooms, a laundry, a kitchen, dining room/study/storage room, lounge room, and a nice area out back to put your feet up. It has recently been renovated too. There is air-conditioning and heating, they both work fantastically. The house is fully furnished, except for the room itself. We are located in a fantastic spot in Clifton Hill. Right near the train station and the Collingwood Leisure Centre, there are plenty of shops within walking distance, or by a short ride on the train. Due to the public transport in the area it is easy to get to the City, Fairfeild, Smith St, and Victoria St. There is no off-street parking, but if you have a car you can get a parking permit. Bills are Electricity, Gas, Water, and Cable Internet. We split them evenly so it works out pretty cheap. We also have Netflix if you wanted to chip in for that too. The internet is Cable internet and hasn't let us down (yet!) Rent is $260/week + bills (Electricity/Gas/Water/Internet) We're looking for someone long term.
I'm a Masters Student of Comms and Media. A lefty feminist who likes swimming in the ocean, Netflix and casual drinks. A swim teacher on weekends. Don't reckon you'll ever have a problem getting along with me.
