I am a postgraduate Biomedical Sciences student from The Netherlands. From February on, I am going to do my research internship into Dementia in The Royal Melbourne Hospital for 6 months. During my internship I am looking for a shared home. I like being surrounded by other people to eat (I like to cook =)), sport, watch Netflix or explore the Australian culture and country together. However, I also appreciate quietness and peacefulness. Sharing living room, bathroom and kitchen is no problem.
Moved to Melbourne from Scotland two years ago and absolutely loving it! Currently working in hospitality, managing a bar/restaurant in the CBD and looking to move North for a more comfortable commute. My working schedule is mostly nights. I'm a big football/soccer fan and play five-a-side each week, love music with my own own bass and acoustic guitar, and have a genuine interest in literature, film and tv - even do a bit of writing. Enjoy a healthy balance of personal/social activities, love to throw a bit of patter around, and keen for a beer after a hard day's work, or jus chill with a book or a movie. Ideally looking for furnished rooms but not essential
I'm a Finnish male from; Helsinki, moving Down Under, to work as a carpenter in Brunswick East. My journey begins: 1st of November, in the gorgeous city of; Melbourne! - Easy going, approachable, reliable, friendly, outgoing, good sense of humour, respectful, handyman around the house, coffee lover, music enthusiast, snowboarder, and just a great bloke. I've lived in: New York, London, around Europe, India, Nepal and travelled extensively around the world. Whilst living abroad, I've lived with many people and have a great rapport amongst all past house mates. I'm happy to live among people from all walks of life.
Our home is a beautiful 3 storey townhouse in Clifton Hill. It is surrounded by some amazing local cafes, bars and is just a stones throw away from high street, so its a great location for anyone wanting to experience Melbourne. It is a 15 minutes train ride to the CBD and the train station is just down the street. We are also lucky to be surrounded by some beautiful parks and across the road from the capital city walking trail and merry creek. We have an open planned kitchen with a meals area and a massive living area which has a large balcony attached to it. We have a washing machine, dryer, internet, split system heating and a house gym. The room we're looking to fill is on the lower level. It has a wall of built in wardrobes, is a medium size and has a private courtyard attached. The room comes furnished. The room is available from on the 21st of October Come over for some coffee and a tour! We look forward to meeting you
I am someone who comes home from the 9-5 and enjoys a few wines in front of some bad TV (reality/soap/classic sitcoms) in the evening. I'm a pop culture junkie and a cat owner. I go out occasionally but only to bars where I can get a seat and don't have to queue to get in. If you're ever on Millionaire I should be your phone-a-friend, especially if the category is cheap wine, bad TV (or general entertainment), cat ownership, or bars with seats.
Hi there. I work in Fitzroy as a doctor. Looking for a friendly home locally. Up for a chat over a cuppa or wine. Enjoy gigs, having friends over, cooking, being outdoors and active. I'm organised with paying rent, bills, no fuss. I like things clean and relaxed.
Renovated inner city cottage located in Clifton Hill close to trains, trams, parklands and Queen's Parade. House features: • Nicely sized open living area. • Tasmanian oak floors. • Great natural light. • Original Victorian features. • Bathroom with fully sized bath/SOB. • Split system and gas log fire. • Fully furnished/appointed living area. • Renovated kitchen with caesarstone bench tops. • SS gas cooker/ dishwasher and great coffee machine. • Rear courtyard garden w BBQ/entertainment area. • Wi-Fi available (bill split evenly). The freshly painted double room for rent has a garden view. There's a wardrobe and a bookshelf for storage if needed. Locally, we have a great little supermarket, a couple of cafe's and bottle shop within a few minutes’ walk. The train, tram and buses are also very close by. In residence are also two adorable black cats – Kit and Jasper. My future housemate needs to be someone who loves cats. The perfect fit for this house is someone who: • Seeking a happy, calm and (very) comfortable living environment. • Would like a longer-term living arrangement. • Appreciates a genuinely friendly and considerate housemate. • Communicates honestly, constructively and with compassion. • Likes to hang out a bit but also respects needs for our own space. • Contributes to paying shared bills/cleaning shared spaces. Ideally, you’d also be up for the occasional weekend of looking after two very cute cats (payment in head bumps and purrs) so I can get out of Melbourne every now and then. Either that or open to a friend coming to stay the odd few nights I’m away??
My name is Simon and I work for NAB. I’ve recently returned from Sydney and am currently staying in thornbury. I’m looking to rent somewhere for the medium to long term that is furnished. I work full time Monday to Friday and spend spare time reading, gym, Netflix, fairly active. I work in Docklands so this is a great location. I like to cook, I spent a lot of time in hospitality before moving to finance. I’m not a room hermit but also respect other people’s need to have their own time and space. I’d be interested in having a look at the room and meeting you if it’s still available. Im not in a rush to move, but the sooner the better. Please don’t hesitate to contact me for any more information or to arrange a time to meet. Talk soon.
Have been living in the cbd in an apartment for the past 3 years but owners want to sell. We are full time working girls looking for a short term lease before we purchase our own property hopefully next year.
Moving to Melbourne from Northern NSW to work. I’m only 20, but I’m a senior hairdresser and have been managing a salon for the last few months. I’m hoping to have secured work before I move if not it won’t be soon afterwards. I’m tidy, like to hangout and be social but also happy just doing my own thing! I love going to gigs, markets, making art, would never say no to burger or movie nights and love going to the footy. Looking at moving mid-to-late October, depending when I secure a place. Will fly down to meet housemates and view room beforehand!
I am tidy, easygoing and love cooking. *BIG FAMILY* myself, 2 small dogs and 2 cats - all VERY well behaved and very loved as I am a Veterinary Nurse, but I understand it is a lot.

Hello! I'm Flo, from Scotland and Michael is from Perth, W.A. We are looking for a fun and friendly new share house. We are vegan, ethically minded folk who have 3 adorable pet rats so our new home must be rattie friendly. We're happy, mindful, laid back, respectful people. Home is important to us and we are looking for a place to be proud of. Both of us have had plenty share-housing experience and understand the necessities of being a topnotch housemate. We love cleaning, sometimes we play rock paper scissors to see who gets to do the dishes, really. Also we are pretty dedicated dumpster dive masters so there's often plenty of savaged food up for grabs! I really like plants, gardening, music, and a good old chill sesh, Michael is a keen photographer, cyclist and d.i.y'er. Both of us enjoy cooking and spend a fair bit of time creating taste sensations in the kitchen, totally up for sharing meals now and again. We both work full time day jobs and enjoy getting out amongst nature for camping trips when we can. Feel free to send me a message if you would like to know anything more.
I'm 32 years old, originally from Adelaide, and work as an engineer in the renewable energy sector. I have a great, stable job in the city, so am looking to stay nearby. My main hobby is painting (digital or oil), so I'm hoping for a place with some space to do this. I am very considerate of my housemates and always keep my place clean. I like to cook too. Hoping to find some housemates that I'll get along with since I don't know that many people here.

Hey, I'm Simon. I'm a pretty busy guy, started a standup comedy record label I've been doing a heap of work on recently which is great, also love playing futsal, homebrewing beer (in tiny, fits in my bedroom type quantities), making delicious foods and hanging out, having a chat and getting to know people. Have a lot of energy though so busy as I am I still always find time for new things. For work my main thing is I'm an engineer at a chocolate factory and I also have a job hosting trivia sometimes. Housemate wise I think I'm super considerate and tidy in shared spaces and I hope just a generally nice person to be around.
A little about myself. I’m pretty social and love my down time when I get home as my work can be high pressure. Patient Transport Officer, (Ambulance Attendant), . However love a glass/or 5 of wine (Red) and chat after work. Enjoy/love my food and a wine - watching movies, reading, sport-(watching) also exploring. Happy to share cooking or not - not fussed - same with grocery shopping etc. I’m friendly and easy to live with, very clean and tidy, looking for someone similar not the "Party" house type. Regards Pete
I'm a self-employed photographer, which means I work from home or a cafe quite a lot. I'm currently living at home in Northcote, but I'm looking for a place to make my own, with like-minded others that I can come home and have a G&T with and brainstorm/vent about business and life. Things you should know: Strong latte no sugar - a real no bullshit coffee order I'm one of those guys with the modified cars - don't hold it against me I don't go out much to party these days, but when I do I usually end up significantly drunker than I think I am I have a lot of shit; Camera equipment and the likes, so I'm chasing a big space I love playing music out loud - mainly house and disco, during the day as I work. Not a shit bloke - at least that's what Mum tells me
