Hi, my name is Dawit and I'm a 22 year old computer science student from Denmark. I'm originally from Ethiopia but I'm born in Denmark. In my sparetime I enjoy playing piano and do small software projects. I will be living in Melbourne from the end of June, until mid-through November. I'm an outgoing person who is always curious to learn new things. I enjoy my downtime, which I usually spend reading (ie. watching netflix :P). I have recently become very interested in roadbiking and hope to invest in a roadbike while I'm in Melbourne.
Bedroom with king size bed, bed sheets, wardrobes, chest of drawers and desk. Close to parklands and public transport. Netflix, Spotify and cable internet included. Apple TV in the living room and communal iMac for internet browsing, music, etc.. in the kitchen/dining area. Fully renovated kitchen with dishwasher and coffee machine. Laundry with Washing Machine and Dryer. Available until the 30th of December 2018
Hello there. I am an easy to be around, funny and clean person to live with. I am an extremely responsible person who is respectful of others, including personal and communal spaces. I like to keep my interactions light hearted and sincere and love to have a cheeky laugh. Currently working as a Nurse and in my final semester of full time study. As such, I am looking for a home that is quiet (so I can catch up on sleep) and easy-going (so I can get away with making a meal or having a shower at odd hours). I have a little dog with me, he is 10 years old, 7kg, non-shedding and a little legend. He is well trained, toilet trained and no trouble at all (he doesn't chew, scratch floor boards and doesn't rummage through the bin etc). He's like a lil Ewok. In my spare time I will be out and about with the dog, catching up on sleep, cooking, reading, watching a good tv show or just going for a drive to unwind. Looking for a home and plan on staying for the long term rather than short term. If you have any more questions, shoot! Cheers, Liv & Wookie
Hi, My name's Tim. I'm 35, a vegetarian, non-smoker and I love comedy, music, tea, reading, flowers and gardening. I care about the environment, social justice and good vibes. I'm clean, relaxed, friendly, financially independent and good in a crisis (all qualities I'm looking for in my housemates) If I sound like someone you'd like to live with send me a message!
I'm Sarah, and here is a little about me...I'm 29, and moved to Melbourne from Sydney a few months ago (but originally from the UK). I'm very chilled out, enjoy going to yoga or the gym most days and I'm always going to different cafes (addicted to coffee!). I like anything outdoors and fitness related but also love a glass of red and some salsa dancing! I'm clean, tidy and very respectful living in a house with others :) I'm studying Teaching part time and I'm working in Marketing for a property firm.
Just on the edge of Fitzroy ! 50 meters from Smith Street ! Ideal for a couple as we share the rent. We love living here - the location is brilliant and the housemates great fun! The room is beautiful, spacious, tall ceilings with lots of natural light. The bedroom can be left furnished (negotiable). We are moving out as we are moving back to France! So sad to be leaving, you will love this house. You will enjoy a lovely terrace house located on Hodgkinson Street on the edge of bustling Fitzroy area. Ideal for those who are looking for nice food restaurant, street art, music scene, culture of bohemianism, and want to stay close to the city (15min bike, 20min tram, 40 min walk) as well as enjoying nice gardens (Edinburgh and Darling Gardens, 5 min walk). There is a lovely backward with possibility of BBQ. It is a two storeys house, two single room are upstairs and 2 double room are downstairs. The house in at 3 min walk from the 86 tram line and 10min walk from the Clifton Hill train station. The bills including gas, electricity, internet are about 30$(summer) to 40$(winter) per person per month.
We are a group of friends from Ireland and Holland. After living in Melbourne last year we have just returned from farm work, so now we're very excited to start our second year! We all work in various jobs Monday to Friday. During the weekends we love to go out for dinner, go to gigs and enjoy drinks in town. Although staying home with friends is something we do like.
Super close to everything: only a 3 min walk from tram 86 which brings you right into the city and 8 min walk from Clifton Hill station. I usually walked or cycled though - Fitzroy is right around the corner so you get to enjoy the quiet of Clifton Hill whilst still being close to the best suburb of Melbourne and the city! Besides this, the house has a big enough garden in which we hosted quite some parties. The available room, however, is located on the top floor so you can’t hear a thing when people are downstairs. It also has an awesome view (especially mornings!) and a built in closet so you don’t even need to buy a wardrobe. I can leave my bed and everything you need but that can be discussed. The house has everything you need - washing machine and even a bath!
I am a neat and organized person. I am also very friendly and a generally happy person. I love a good chat, but also enjoy time alone spent listening to music or writing. I would enjoy a few room mates to have a chat to sometimes and just have fun living with! I'm studying teaching and loving it! So my main focus is on studying at the moment but that doesn't mean I don't like having fun :)
Quick bit about myself, I'm a 21 year old student currently studying my second degree (first was in Biomedicine and now doing Exercise Physiology). I'm from Scotland originally but moved here 4 years ago and have no plan on leaving any time soon! I work part time at the MCG so spend a lot of my weekend there and what time I have left is usually for riding my bike. I also enjoy good coffee and tasty beers. I have lived in shared accommodation for the past three and a bit years so have plenty of practice. Thanks!
Hey guys, My name's Em. I'm 26, studying part time at Monash University double majoring in Spanish and Latin American studies and Japanese studies. I have two little cats, Xena and Zahra, both names referring to princesses because they so are. I'm a pretty busy person myself, I'll either be at work, at uni, at the gym or studying in my room. But definitely down for a cheeky bevy and dinner with future housemates.
I’m respectful and conscientious, easy going and kind! Have a passion for houseplants, ice cream and sleep. I’m a full time design and marketing student, also working two jobs. In my spare time I love to take photos, watch movies and enjoy delicious food. I’ll cross the road to pat a cute cat, but not in a weird way. Born and raised, I’m Melbourne to the core and still in love with this city!
I am a (local) fulltime PhD student (psychology), researching virtual reality (not gaming). As such, I spend much of my home time studying/writing/reading. I enjoy cooking. Non-smoker and looking for a non-smoking house/unit. I don't party/entertain but do enjoy good conversation and social interaction with flatmates. I am tidy and respectful of others. Apart from study, I work part-time, enjoy photography, music and movies. My creative past-times are fairly quiet (e.g., editing photos on laptop). Ideally looking to share with like-minded, tidy people 30+ (professionals or students; any gender; LGBT welcome). Need a room that will accomodate my queen size bed and writing desk, etc. Reliable internet is essential and would prefer bills (some or all) included, though not essential. Prefer a place with no pets. Will consider each property on its own merrits, so please get in touch.
I'm an IT nerd by day and fairly friendly happy person, moved to Melbourne from Perth and love it here. Love boardgames & books and all things Sci-Fi. I am fairly quiet & keep to myself most days, and always clean and tidy. I like to get along with most people and see myself as a fairly friendly sociable person. I'm currently living in Preston, however with housemates moving out I will either need to find new housemates or find a new place to move into. I also have a large amount of furniture, Fridge / TV, Dining Table, etc. so would ideally like to move into a property where these can be put to use :D Feel free to ask me any questions :)
Hey! We’re a couple from the U.K and we’ve spent the past 8 months travelling through Europe and Asia before landing in Melbourne a few weeks ago. Jordon works in marketing and Sam works as a web/graphic designer. We’re clean, tidy and respectful, we love to cook, travel, cycle and socialise. We’re looking for a place to call home :)
Hi Alana and Jess, Looking for a home that is not just a sharehouse, but a space where I feel like I am coming home to a family of sorts, can share in wine/dinners/laughs and just chill out. In saying that, I also value my independence and there are some days where work is tough and I just want to come home and not have to talk about my day. I value respect and honesty, and an open home where people feel comfortable to talk about issues. I have a beautiful all-creatures-friendly pooch named Bernard, he is extremely well house trained and comes with sensational references. Ideally a home with people who will love and treat him like the ants pants. Definitely looking long term, don't want to have to move again for a long time. I like to get out of the city on weekends and explore/go hiking with Bernie, go camping or just get away with friends/go wine it up with friends I work as a psychologist at the Drug Court in the CBD. Hoping to eventually work in social policy so I can contribute to social justice from a legislative perspective. I love what I do and I am really passionate about encouraging tolerance and respect in the community.
Hey there, I'm a Perth local who has lived in Melbourne for several years now. Currently working and studying full time. I'm easygoing, respectful of other's space and privacy, and reliable when it comes to getting the rent in on time and keeping the place tidy. Feel free to get in touch if you have a room on offer or would like to team up and find a place
Hi there! I am looking to move to Melbourne the second week of August. I am a full time PhD student, plus I work 2 days per week as a Sports Dietitian, which essentially means working 6-7 days per week. I’m quiet and respectful and really don’t want to live in a party house but do enjoy the occasional dinner party/board games with wine/gin with house mates. I have an adorable, cuddly kitty - who turned my current house mate from a non cat lover, to a cat lover. I hope to find kind and respectful house mates who don’t mind having their own lives but also enjoy flatmates company.
Hi there you future flatmates, I'm a student in RMIT city campus. I'm looking for a place to stay close to my uni. I'm studying Industrial design full time so i'll spend a lot of time staying in my uni. I'm very quiet and respectful of other's privacy and i'm looking for sharing accommodation with someone that has the same personalities. I like to cook and love to spend free time hanging out, eating and enjoy the time with my flatmates
Hello Flatmates My name is Sean, I am a 27yr old guy. I'm currently a student in Communications (Media) in my final year at RMIT. Ive just returned from a 6 month study exchange in Singapore/China and i'm hoping I can find a cosy place I can call home. To make ends meet I work for a few companies as a subcontractor/casual in the live events/audio visual industry. I'm a quiet natured fellow who likes coffee, making videos & music. I also like going to friends shows and doing yoga on occasion. Previously I lived in Thornbury and held a lease for two years in a house of four, so I know the importance of a clean, functional and cohesive house! I would say i'm out and about a lot, always scheming on some sort of project, however I do value building meaningful relationships with fellow housemates. If you want to know anything else, get in touch! Cheers Sean
Heeeey, Im Talitha. Looking for a place that's 6 or more months but preferably a year if we are well suited. I'm generally very busy with work five days a week in the city as a dental nurse, study (online self paced). I dance twice a week and I'm really into my fitness. In my free time i like to see my boyfriend (His usually at mine once a week- some weeks i go to his place), see friends, play Xbox, cook, meal prep. I tend to be a clean person. I wont get mad over a cup / plate in the sink if you've had a busy day. Once a week after study i might have a glass of wine and watch a murder mystory doco. We can totally do that together too if you want. Love a boogie at revs or pawn&co when i do go out. I prefer to keep partying separate from my living arrangements. As long as my future roommates can communicate well about bills / issues / when people might pop by, I'm sure we will have a blast! My current lease ends in August 11 ... About you- -Male or female -Working full time / or studying -House hold of 3 MAXIMUM -Friendly -Clean -Considerate and able to communicate well -Over 21 & under 35 -Not on crack Hit me up xxx
I'm a 22 year old from the country Victoria studying a Bachelor in Criminal Justice with the hopes of joining the Federal Police. I enjoy the company of people and pets of any kind (living on a farm does that) but when I am working/studying I'm pretty recluse and like to work as hard as possible. I am an avid video gamer, enjoy playing sport (not so much watching it), reading long novels that never seem to finish and going out for a quite Friday night. I like to keep myself and my room clean and respect that fact that I will be sharing a house with others and will gladly pitch in to keep it clean and running (if there is a nice garden I wouldn't mind planting a few veggies to even try and keep the food flowing fresh). Cheers.
