I'm British, 28, recently moved to Melbourne and looking for a friendly house where I can get to know people and hang out. I work as a management consultant in the city. In my free time you will find me having fun with my friends, doing something active, cooking or finding the next best place to eat! I keep busy but I'm very laid back, tidy and find it easy to get on with everyone!\ :)
I’m friendly and mostly neat & tidy, I’d like to live with housemates who like to share a meal and hang out sometimes. I’m a musician, work as a music teacher, mainly play the cello, so you’ll need to put up with me needing to practice sometimes. I love animals and will be bringing my dog and cat with me, so the place must be pet friendly, they’re both friendly and really easy to live with.
Hi, my name is Salomé I grew up in New Zealand and moved to Melbourne a year ago. My office is moving location at the end of April so I'm taking the opportunity to move to a new place closer to more cafe's/things to do. I work full time - generally 8-5 and I travel down to Tassie a bit for work. I bike to work every day, enjoy going for rides, hikes and camping in the weekends. I'm tidy, easy to live with and I enjoy cooking. I've lived in a number of share houses since I was 19, so I'm used to living with lots of different people.
I moved to Melbourne at the end of February to start my studies at La Trobe. I'm looking at moving somewhere closer to the city as I work part time in the CBD. I best describe myself as an introverted extrovert. I enjoy a social atmosphere at rooftop bars, parks and my regular F45 classes. I also appreciate alone time to wind down after work and study. I've travelled a lot internationally in the past and understand the concept of privacy, space and cleaning up after yourself... especially after living in hostel rooms for 2 months + at times. I sold my car before moving down so somewhere close to public transport would be convenient and preferred. Look forward to hearing from you! :)
The largest room is available in our beautiful heritage Clifton Hill home! The only upstairs room has large windows and heaps of room for activities! I'm heading to europe from the 13th May - 2nd Sept The room comes fully furnished: Queen bed (heaps of blankets for those chilly nights), 32inch TV (hdmi & PS3 provided ;)cupboard and wardrobe space. Walking distance is only 5 minute walk to Clifton Hill train station, 10min walk to Alexander prd & smith street, 20min walk to CBD. You will be sharing it with two super kool chickies, and of course the lady of the house and British shorthair, Peanut! So would love someone clean, chill and a Bev to join the house who doesn't mind peanut coming up for her daily sun bake and naps!
I know how to do dishes and keep a place tidy. I work in the city as a Learning Designer and like to pick away on my guitar or sit down to a good book of an evening. I'm always up for a chat, a cup of tea, a boardgame, or a spontaneous dance party. I'm keen for the northside cafes, bars and music, and looking to be as close to the train line as possible since I work in the city.
Desperately looking for a private room to move into ASAP: Abbotsford, Collingwood, Fitzroy, East Melbourne, Carlton North, Richmond etc. -Happy to pay up to $250 (more if the place is right). Would love walking distance to 436 Johnston Street, Abbotsford. -Must have a parking space (either on street permit or off street). ABOUT ME: I am 23 and work for a pharmaceutical company in Abbotsford, in clinical trials. I like going to the gym and keeping active, but I also enjoy a good donut or five. Enjoy exploring new places and going on adventures. Partial to an espresso martini or two, a good cheese and wine night or a relaxed night in watching Netflix. Looking for a house where the housemates enjoy spending time together, but of course also respectful of people's privacy. I'm very neat and tidy and hope you are too. I have lived in share houses for the past five years. Message me if you'd like to know more, looking forward to hearing from you :) ALSO: I have a nice modern fridge, a 42in TV, a vacuum and iron/ironing board, that I can bring to the house if needed, but if not will store at my parents house.
My name is Savanna and I am 21 years old! I grew up in Seville, in the Yarra Valley. I have a Bachelor of Creative Arts from La Trobe University and I am now working in a vintage boutique! Now that's out of the way! I am an actress who is about to direct their first play! I love TV, food and wine, cheese, knitting, hanging with friends and being all round creative. I'm a very fun, extroverted person who enjoys a good chat with housemates but also respects alone time. I am tidy and will complete weekly chores. I'm having to move because of a break up (yay) :( so I would love to find somewhere soon :)
Hey there! I'm Sampson, 25. I'm coming back from a short little US backpacking trip in late June and looking for a happy house-fam to join with when I do! Things about me: I'm a full time software developer in the city, so that'll be most of my time. At home, I love growing my cheerful little herb garden, playing and building guitars, going for runs and walks outdoors, and getting stuck into a good gaming or movie sesh too. I'm a bit of an introvert sometimes, but still love getting out and having chill times with friends and housies. Ideally I'd like a comfortable and safe space to exist in with like-minded laid back humans. I'm after a "have rad chats on everything from string theory to feminism around the kitchen table" sort of house rather than a party house. Capitalism is pretty awful and LGBTQ-everything is pretty rad, so if that sounds like your thing, send me a message :)
Hello there. My name is Mia, I am 30 years old female, and I am coming with my beloved fluffy cat Bruno. We are both very easy going, clean and tidy and love to live life fully. I am originally from Czech Republic, but now with PR, I am staying in Australia for good. I am working as kindergarten teacher assistant part time at the moment. I love to spend time in nature, connecting spiritually, meditate with holistic approach to life.
Hello hello hello! My name is Tanielle, people call me Tee. I am a full time art student, studying at the Melbourne Polytechnic Preston Campus 4-5 days a week. I am studying a diploma of Illustration at the present time, moving into a bachelor of fine arts next year in 2019. I am looking to move due to study! Ideally close to Preston/surrounding suburbs and easy to get to and from city as I will be at the RMIT city campus next year! I am looking for a clean, tidy friendly environment that I can call home. I am a people person so always up for chats, tea and coffee. I love to read, write and play music. I DO have a pet Bunny (who is as about as small as a baby kitten) however is FULLY trained and ALWAYS stays with me in my room :). I am looking to move ASAP but will need to give notice to my realtor. I am happy to answer any questions you may have and looking forward to hearing from you to find my future cosy home!! :) Flip me a message for any enquires, questions and or/ contact details :) Peace and love, thank you Tee!
Hello everyone. I am 26 and originally from New Zealand. I have been in Melbourne for around 8 months and am currently looking for new accomodation. I am musical, crafty and pretty realaxed in general. I play in a band which gigs around Melbourne quite often so am usually doing that one or two nights a week - I don't do practise at home so no need to worry about noise. There is a chance I may have a cat with me, but am not 100% whether she will be coming with me yet so that would need to be considered. She is 11 and fully house trained and loaded with personality. Feel free to ask me any questions or contact me to arrange a viewing. I am looking to find a place in the next week or two. Cheers Brendon
Looking for an ideal place to call home for at least 6-12 months. I can provide a pet bond, and references if you need! I rise early, walk Taco, do ballet workout, shower, then head out. I'll be studying ballet in the city, an additional course, and working: hospitality, and animal rescue. We need a dog-friendly place where Taco will be treated like a member of the household. I'm training him to help take out the garbage, and German, cos he has the basics down. It'd be wonderful to cheer-up sick children in hospital, so I guess Taco will be working too haha ;p We're quiet, love having fun and sharing happiness lol I tend to do cute character voices for his amusement, so we definitely won't be ghosts, or strangers to you. However, I do enjoy my solitude - the most efficient way to get a lot of study done. Always pay rent and bills on time! Have done so for 8 years, worked since age 9. I'm ambitious, a hardworker. Only on hiatus til I find a place in Melbourne. But will definitely be back in town for meet and greets. Taco is house-trained. Pointer X. Excited to make new friends, and go on lots of adventures. We play catch, cos I'm an awesome parent, and he is so lovable you'll want to rescue every shelter dog! 💗 I take care of Taco 100% + clean as I go, all the usual stuff! I'm easy-going, enjoy good conversation, love to mess around and laugh, but who doesn't! Secure outdoor area. Private room. Anywhere 10 mins (1km) from a station is mint! If you're experienced, friendly and chill it'll be fun! Good communication✅ Boardgames? And if you're a guy, nothing weird please. Finding somewhere by June would be killer! Anything else, just ask Thanks♡☆ Luna and Taco ^_^🐾
Hey there, I'm a ex-kiwi, ex-Qlder, long term Melbournite recently returned from two years working in The Netherlands and travelling around Europe every chance I had. I like to swim, garden and get to the beach regularly where my family are now based. I have a 4yo dog, Billy, who keeps me moving and giggling. I’m looking to live somewhere with friendly people who like casual convos but happy to give lots of space too. I’m sometimes vegetarian and make eco-conscious choices with products & practices. A tidy house, early bill payments and live respectfully is just what I do. I have full-time permanent employment in Rosanna so ideally want a 12month lease within easy commute (but thinking even longer term). I am looking for a stable home rather than a transition house. If this sounds like a good match, I’d love to hear from you! Cheers, Katy
Hey hows it going? I'm a pretty laid back easy going individual who happens to be house trained, been living in shared houses now for 13 or more years here and abroad. I'm a causal worker that works full time hours in hospitality at the MCG, looking for a housemate/housemates that don't mind sharing the odd glass of wine or beer and maybe the odd meal now and then. Not a clean freak but in saying that not a filthy freak either. Things Im into: Bars, food, cooking, art, photography, travel and many many other great things. Oh I smoke but only out doors, keep telling myself this is the year I quit, only time will tell.
I'm self-aware and sensitive to the needs of others. I like my home to be welcoming, comfortable, relaxed, uncluttered and tidy. Privacy is important to me, as is feeling secure in my living space. I'm happy to contribute by cooking, cleaning and maintaining a garden. I work with children, which is rewarding and exhausting. I enjoy keeping fit and jog, hike, row and do yoga on a regular basis. Some interests are music, books, film, good food and wine and in general, experiencing new things.
Hello! About Me: I'm an outgoing, creative, naturally social person who enjoys good conversation about almost anything and love a good "gossip" on current happenings. Left leaning politically with a keen interest in fashion, food and music. I'm the proud owner of two small fur babies (cats) and they have to come with me. They're indoor kinda girls (like mum) and mostly eat and sleep about the house. One is quite inquisitive and social. The other is shy, and may keep you company on the couch if she's not too scared. My social life consists of brunch dates with friends, op-shopping adventures, dance classes, Netflix binges and sharing a stories over a cup of chai tea and some tim tams. I'm straight edge, so that means no drugs, no smoking, no drinking. House Stuff: Looking for a bright, clean and tidy place somewhere in the inner north side of town. upto 250pw (flexible depending on utilities), but would prefer a monthly rental inc. bills. I'm Ideally looking to share with 1 or 2 people with outgoing personalities and individuals who want to create a happy social atmosphere with the occasional shared meals during the week. Similarly neat and house proud folks, as I'm big on cleanliness. Looking for people who have respect for people of all genders, races and sexual preferences. (a misogyny free home being a must!) My Stuff: I have my own bedroom furniture, more clothes than I should, a TV and retro sideboard (which can fit in my room) , but I'm completely flexible with furnishings. Have some home appliances, but anything not needed I can put in storage. Hope you have something suitable, please email me with info and available inspection times, I'm looking for something ASAP and I never flake on plans. Cheers! Chloé x
Hey there! I've just graduated and I'm working full-time as a graphic designer. In my spare time I like to make the most of Melbourne's arty culture. I've been renting for the past three years and as a housemate I'm friendly, respectful and tidy :)
I like music, wine, coffee, art, museums, travelling, learning new languages, rock climbing, yoga, long walks, good food, playing the guitar, reading books, long chats with likeminded people, fluffy things ... amongst many other things. I am a software engineer and I spend a lot of time on my computer, or reading books, but I also like some social time - i would say I am an ambivert. My partner is a teacher based in Brisbane but will visit me often so It would have to be a couple friendly room (and house). LGBTQI+ friendly, obviously :) I am only considering properties with an ensuite or own bathroom thanks.
Hi, My friend Shaki and I are looking for a housemate to move out with! I work in TV as a camera assistant/editor, Shaki is completing his Masters degree in Networking and works at Nixon. I'll be spending half my time at my girlfriend's house and Shaki will be studying/working/taking photos We both are super easy to get along with, love to hang out, are clean and will respect your privacy! In our free time we like to go out for drink, see a movie or work on our next photography/videography project. If you like the sound of us and see as potential future-housemates, then feel free to give me a call to arrange a meet-up for a coffee/drink. Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks, Eren Besiroglu
