I came from Greece about a year ago and I'm working as a hairdresser. I am at the moment living with relatives and I'm looking to move out so I can experience the lifestyle of Melbourne somewhere closer to the CBD and somewhat more independent. I am easy to live with, I believe;I'm not a particularly picky person, I adjust to any situation, I'm a quiet individual and I have a high sense of responsibility.I am working many hours and I enjoy exploring Melbourne,so that is how I mainly pass my time.
Here's a bit about me :) I work in hospo and will be commencing study in May. I pay rent and bills on time, am clean but not too clean and know how to respect peoples personal space. I enjoy occasionally having a chin wag while sharing a glass of wine or a beer , enjoy going to gigs, gardening, cooking, embroidery, curling up with a good book and have days where all I want to do is chill out to a movie or tv show. The 18th of April is the last date I can move, moving earlier than this is no problem.
I'm moving back to Melbourne to start full-time work as a Architect after a summer travelling NZ and working on my parents farm. I've lived in two share houses for the last 5 years (three years in Geelong, two years in Armadale) and look forward to finding another place I can move into long term. I'm pretty easy going and am always up for shared meals, games and a few drinks! In my spare time like to got to the footy/cricket, catch a gig, work on and ride bikes, cook and garden. If you place has shed space or room for a veggie patch that's huge for me! I start work on April 3 but have places to stay if need be. Something that's available in early April would be rad. Cheers!
Hello! My name is Meg, I'm a registered nurse and I work full time shift work. I'm currently living in a share house in Hawthorn and I have previously lived in Clifton hill so I have lots of experience living communally. I'm a friendly gal, pretty chill and like living in a clean environment. I'm looking to live with like-minded people who enjoy sharing the occasional meal, going out for brunch or a glass of vino. In my spare time I enjoy checking out art exhibitions, going to music festivals, gigs, yoga and travelling. I'm a very social girl however I'm not looking for a party house. If I sound like someone you might like to live with, let me know.
Easy going, fun and friendly looking for other friendly and liveable housemates to possibly start a new sharehouse or join a good existing one. I've been back in Melbourne just under a year having lived in London and travelled around the world for 3 years. I'm looking for some chilled but social housemates! Have done the houseshare thing before and made some awesome mates from it! As long as you're social, respectful and up for a good time we'll get along fine! I work full time in the city so anywhere inner northern suburbs is ideal.
Hi fellow flatmaters, I'm very social, respectful, trustworthy, nice, clean and tidy. I work in hospitality so my hours do vary. I require a fully furnished room with bed, built in wardrobes and draws etc. Also parking is essential. I look forward to hearing from you.
Ahoy, I'm Ollie. A relaxed, employed 29 year old, and part-time psychology student. A bit of an ambivert, I comfortably flow between socialisation and independently pursuing my own curiosities included, but not limited to learning Sitar, an array of little projects, and plenty of cooking (if only to keep ample hummus abound). I could bring to a house a lush tea and spice assortment, a decent sound system (don't worry, I have headphones), solid computer know-how, a washing machine, and a presence that is well honed in the art of taking care of oneself and being a conscientious housemate. I've run share-houses before and can summon references from both landlords and former housemates if need be. All said, hopefully I'll hear from you soon. Best of luck, Ollie.
Hey Guys, I’m moving back to Melbourne after a stint in London and I need somewhere to live! I’m great to live with because I'm a neat FREAK (I’ve been known to do laundry when drunk) and I’m also an expert at ordering in (in the past 3 months I’ve cooked 5 times), although don’t let that deceive you because I’m still an alright cook. Another great thing is that I’m a ‘social media expert’ well that’s what my colleagues in London called me so I’m always there to help you draft the perfect insta caption. Part of my neat-freakiness is that I don’t throw parties at home so you don’t need to worry about me trashing the place, and I also have my twin brother’s Netflix account (free to use) which honestly is a pretty good deal. I’m pretty easy with where I live as long as it’s central to the city. My goal is to live near/on a tram line because prior to London I was confined to Williamstown… So hit me up if you want some sass in your life because I’ll bring it in bucketloads.
Hello, we're a young couple looking to move in to a room together. Originally from Perth, Gary is currently working, while Cotton, born and raised on the Chinese island of Hainan, is studying at university. We are both easygoing, friendly and tidy, and enjoy socialising as much relaxing at home. Neither of us are party animals and committed to a healthy lifestyle.
We are Jenny and Stu, originally from Liverpool, England but now calling Melbourne home. Both laid back, ones tidy, one is clean so winning combination. Like to do anything involving food and wine, and slowly make our way through every instagramable brunch place that Melbourne has to offer. Both working professionals, and at the weekend love to jump in the car and explore Melbourne/Victoria. We aren't that couple who make out on the couch, lick each others faces or call each other 'boo boo'.......so don't let us being a couple scare you off, we are normal people too! Looking to move in to a place, or join up with other people to find a house. Want to be in an environment with decent people who can hold a conversation, as much as we love a drink no all night partiers please, preachy people or anyone in a cult. We just want to relax have some fun and enjoy the place we live in and the people who live there too.
My name's Daniel, I'm 25, and I work full-time for a small consulting company in Bundoora. I'm easy going, I like to keep fit (runs, gym, swim, etc.) and I'm well house-trained! I like a house with a little bit of energy but where everyone respects each others space. I'm keen to move to the Darebin area or other suburbs north of the city.
I've lived in share houses for 5 years, and am respectful of people and the house. I love a good chat but also love chilling in my room. I work full time in marketing during the week and also at the footy on the weekends, go Hawks! I love weekend brunches and Pub Trivia! However my music taste is awful, as a Swiftie, Taylor is kween, but I won't subject you to it, i swear! Keen to create a home with my housemates, not just a shared space.
I'm independent, considerate and well share-house trained. I keep busy with work as a junior doctor and other activities including: going out to gigs, seeing friends, learning languages (Spanish and French currently) and playing ultimate frisbee. Ideally I'd love a house with a good balance between independent and communal living, meaning a shared meal here and there but also respect for everyone's space.
Oh hey! We're Marco & Nu, a German guy and Melbourne gal who can put the mates in 'housemates'. We're a fun-loving, friendly couple who've just come back from our overseas adventures and are now looking for a more permanent home. Marco is a full time student and I'm a full time travel agent so we're both out and about most days but really appreciate some down time after business hours feat. baking, chill nights in, and road tripping on weekends. We're clean, reliable, respectful, and don't take ourselves too seriously and we'd love to find like-minded housemates who are also keen on the occasional shared dinner and boogie. If you think your household needs more freshly baked goods and a funny accent to complete it you know who to call! (hint: not Ghostbusters)
Why hello there! Hope you're having a splendid day :] After spending three months on a horse farm, my girlfriend and I are looking to join a fun, friendly good vibe house to spend at least a year in. We are both baristas so one big perk we can provide is a constant source of fresh coffee... Also, I'm English, so I make a mean cup of tea. It's hard not to blow your own trumpet on these sorts of things but we really are an easy going couple, who likes to chill and just enjoy getting along with new people and hopefully make new friends. Thanks for reading our nonsense. Best Anita & Stu xx
I'm a relaxed, respectful and fun housemate. I'm in marketing, teach yoga and surf so free lessons for house mates. I'm pretty social love to get to gigs and yoga or dance classes, trivia, volleyball, hiking and mountain biking. Like some chill time in the house and the occasional social bev with housemates. I have a washing machine, tv, audio and vacuum if that's a bonus. Let's chat soon.
Sean and I are from England. We are in Australia on a 1 yr holiday working/visa and will be spending 6 months, at least, working/living in Melbourne. Sean is a barista and I am a baker of cakes 👨🏻👩🏾🍳☕️🍰🍩 Our budget is $300-400 pw and we're looking to move as soon as possible! We are an easy going couple and our main interests include; food, music, cartoons, cake (Karishma), video games (Sean) and more food. We like our home to be a place to chill (not a party house) and to socialise over a beer or three with our pals at pubs 🍻 We respect our flatmates space and are clean/tidy.
My name is Patrick Nicoll. I'm 24 years old and a full time Investment Analyst working in the city. I finished studying at the end of 2015 and decided to travel for a year; to New Zealand, America and Western Europe and have just returned to Australia and am looking for a place to call home for the next year to two years. A bit about me! I am an easy-going, relaxed, friendly and social person but also enjoy my own independence and space. I love jazz (I particularly enjoy going to all the great jazz clubs in Melbourne), film (I particularly have a taste for experimental stuff!), travelling, hiking, and trying all the new food spots in and around Melbourne. I also love to chat about economics and politics - I'm a bit of a debater when it comes to most things! - , but I am well aware many find it to be rather dull!!
Hi, how are you? I am a 22 year old professional looking to start making a life for myself close to the city. My ideal home is inviting, tidy and happy. I love swimming, photography, and a cup of tea or wine with a friend. I am ideally looking for somewhere to live with someone who becomes a friend, but also respects personal space. I also come with the world's best guacamole recipe. If I sound like someone you could live with please send me a messge, I love meeting new people! Have a great day, Emily
I'm 22 and in July 2016 I moved to Melbourne from Perth, where I finished studying and started work writing for a newspaper and as a part-time Dj. I moved to Melbourne to get more into music and study part-time, but only lasted two days at uni before dropping out to focus more on music and writing and other interests. I'm very content in Melbourne and am here to stay for a while. I'm always seen myself as easy to get along with. I like meeting people from all walks of life, but particularly enjoy getting to know and talking to those with similar interests to me. I'd like to live with others who are empathetic and generally respectful. I like doing lots of things and am always open to exploring more activities attitudes, but I particularly like music, health-awareness, writing, friends, being outdoors, discussions about interesting things, etc. Please get in touch with any questions or for general chats. Thank you! Jacob
Hi! I am originally from the Chicago, US and have been living in Australia for 10 years. I am a full-time student studying psychology and I do this online. I am looking for a new place since being overseas for 6 months. I am not working now but, I plan on getting some part-time work once I am settled. Don’t worry, I will still be able to cover my part of the rent. ;) Finding a housemate who is respectful and considerate of personal space is important to me. I am a friendly and thoughtful person but sometimes I need time to recharge my batteries. I would be happy living with someone who is outgoing or more reserved if we can get along I would also prefer living with someone who has a sense of humour. I enjoy being playful and having a laugh but my humour is dry and sarcastic at times which sometimes people don’t understand. I think that it is really important to laugh after a stressful day! I also enjoy cooking (but not baking!), photography, movies, traveling and hanging out at the pub when I can get away from my studies. Please send me a message if you would like to more Cheers Vicki
Hey! I'm Saige ~ California native fleeing American politics at lightening speed. I'm 23, veg, and live for live music and travel. Picnics, festivals, and cozying up with a good film/book/furry creature are also prime hobbies of mine 🙂 I love adventuring and gettin' groovy on the dance floor, but I'm also a pretty laid back and tidy individual. Hoping to become friends with whoever my future housemates are, cuz not gonna lie, that's always more fun! I'll be in Melbourne for another 3-6 months, possibly longer because it's a hard city to leave behind! Cheers xx
Hey I'm Casey, I just recently moved to Melbourne from Perth to study journalism at La Trobe, Bundoora and I'm looking for somewhere to live close to Uni. Pretty happy to keep to myself most of the time but I'm always keen for a chat and a glass of wine after a long day. I'm pretty relaxed and love to cook, I'm clean and tidy and I think I would be a great addition to your household :)
