Hey all, I'm currently just looking for a Non smoking, temporary furnished place to live from 5th august, so a room Will be fine, but from October I'd be interested in team ups, I've got loads of household stuff in storage in Sydney that I'd like to ship down, fridge, dryer, dining table, kitchen stuff, tv, and a cat that's staying with my parents. (I need a couch, washing machine, if you've got those WINNING!) Just after a normal, casual, respectable share house, where everyone keeps the place clean without the need for rosters. I work full time in Northcote at a vet clinic. I like an occasional shared meal, sneaky trip to the local, but am happy making my own way too. Send me through any questions you have.:) its just me at this stage, the dogs in the photo are not mine.
I work in the film industry as a graphic designer. I enjoy seeing a good film, attending the occasional life drawing class, annoying cats, and hanging out with good people.
Hi, I'm Bridget! 27 year old full-time Nurse! Bubbly and social, always busy working or at the gym so rarely home. When I'm home, I am quiet and mainly keep to myself. Having said that, I'm always up for a chat or glass of wine occasionally! Non-smoker and lead a fairly active and healthy lifestyle. My two deal breakers are: 1) I'd like my own bathroom/ensuite. I'm happy to pay more and share everything else! 2) Need a some form of carpark! Not phased if it's on/off street or a permit.
Hey Guys, I’m moving back to Melbourne after a stint in London and I need somewhere to live! I’m great to live with because I'm a super tidy (I’ve been known to do laundry and mop the floors when drunk) and I’m also an expert at ordering in (in the past 3 months I’ve cooked 5 times), although don’t let that deceive you because I’m still an alright cook. Another great thing is that I’m a ‘social media expert’ well that’s what my colleagues in London called me so I’m always there to help you draft the perfect insta caption. I have my twin brother’s Netflix and Stan accounts (free to use) which honestly is a pretty good deal. I’m pretty easy with where I live as long as it’s central to the city. My goal is to live near/on a tram line because prior to London I was confined to Williamstown… So hit me up if you want some sass in your life because I’ll bring it in bucketloads.
Hello! :) my names Cassie I just recently made the big move to melbs from NZ (: I work full time in hospo , mostly day hours and usually a day in the weekend :) hunting for some night hospo work too at the mo! :) I'm a super bubbly gal thats social and wouldn't mind having a good night out! 💃🏼 I like to keep my environment clean and am respectful of introvert time ( we all need it! ) I'm looking to live with positive people that like their down time but are still up for hanging about :) food grown from the earth 🍌🍎🌽🍆 But everyone eats what they choose and I would never judge 😊 Love music also (main pAssion!) and I always have open arms for great hugs 👍🏽🤗 can't wait to meet u! 💜
Hey there!!! My name's Josie, I'm 36 and I love music (I go to gigs a couple of times a week, talk about/am always listening to), I loooove cooking, and I spend a fair bit of time juggling study / Netflix binging / reading, sometimes all at once and getting out and about exploring new and great things! I have a full-time job, one casual job, and am also studying online because apparently I'm a punisher! I'm pretty damned experienced at the houseshare thing - I clean up after myself, pull my weight, and pay what's due on time. I also however have a cat, or a sloth. Depends on the day. She's a 10 year old rescue cat and is the most inactive and passive thing ever, she's also my mate and is basically my shadow. Anywhooo, thanks for looking, hope to find a place soon with people I can call mates as well as roomies!
A clean, friendly, film loving & environmentally conscious media student.
I am originally from Canada and here on Working Holiday until March 2018. I will be working full time as a nurse starting in August. I'm generally neat and tidy and don't mind helping with cleaning. I enjoy being outside, travelling and cooking! Looking for fun and social roommates but also happy to do my own thing.
I’m Jackson - 24 (although some of my friends would say 30), full-time economist and film buff (I also have a budding interest in baking!). I'm Melbourne born and raised, but have a U.S. citizenship (not that I plan on taking advantage of that anytime soon...). I'm easy-going, sociable, friendly and open, but also take pride in being organised, clean, and respectful of others. I'm a sucker for getting out and going for walks, be it in a city park, or state reserve. I'm currently on the hunt for a room close to the city, just to make the commute to work easier, and to experience life in the vibrant inner-city culture and surrounds. I've had rooms in share houses before - in Copenhagen, in Berlin and here in Melbourne. I'd love to find a new home with a group of people who consider themselves friends, not just housemates. I've been an avid traveller for most of my young adult life, having spent many long trips in Europe and surrounds, and have spent 3 months in Cambodia working on a micro-finance project. When I get the chance, I love to go to a local café, sample a coffee, and have a nice read of the paper or any other article, book or magazine that has piqued my interest.

G'day, we are Holly and Jesse, and we're looking for a new fabulous place to call home. Holly is a singer/songwriter, youth engagement worker and bartender, and volunteers at Triple R. Jesse is a gardener who works labouring for the City of Whitehorse and also writes fiction and spends a large chunk of time working on his writing. Jesse is American, Holly is Australian, Holly is a vegetarian, Jesse isn't. We both love pubs, beer, books, cooking, walks, talking, seeing shows and sitting in parks. We are both genuinely happy, positive people who thrive on meeting and getting to know new legends, and although we both love going out, we both want home to be a sanctuary and definitely not just a crash pad. We're currently in a pretty unique situation - we've been between renting temporarily with friends and long-term Airbnb stays, although we both have stable, steady work. Holly also regularly travels outside of Melbourne on tour. Jesse's current visa is up just before Christmas, so we're planning to leg it back to California at that time. It would be so lovely to find the perfect home in Melbourne for the next 5 months. Looking forward to meeting some great people here!
I'm an easy going film loving sociable English-Australian looking for a place in Melbourne. I've lived in sharehouses before so I'm house trained and always been punctual with paying. I'm happy for a chat and a couple of drinks but respectful of peoples privacy.
Hi there, I'm Laura, I've just moved to Melbourne from Hobart. I'm a nurse and will be working part time fully rotational shift work. I am neat and tidy to live with, happy for some housemate hangs or to do my own thing. I love to travel and love going to music festivals and gigs. Always keen to check out a new brunch spot. Looking for a room around the Northcote or Clifton Hill area.
Me and my partner, who are full-time students in La Trobe University, are looking for a furnished room which is near by the station. We are friendly people and live quite quiet. Welcome to text me anytime or call me after 7 pm.
I'm orginally from the Gold Coast but I've spent the past 6 years living in New York and San Francisco. I just moved to Melbourne (never lived here before!) and am looking to live with one other person. I spend my time eating all the things, taking day trips away, attempting to find parks to run/exercise in, guzzling a nice amount of wine on weekends (and maybe a cheeky bevy during the week). I also love hosting dinner parties here and there and am super into watching stand up comedy. I love being around people but also appreciate down time (especially in the mornings). Looking for someone who feels the same way. Would be great to find a roomie who's into similar things but no biggie if not. Oh and I'm the one on the left. Feel free to add me on social if you wanna know more!
We (Ben and Cam, 28 and 29) are currently seeking a new housemate for our modern three bedroom townhouse in Clifton Hill. THE ROOM: It’s $1025 per month (plus an initial bond payment of $939) and is available from 09/08 . It’s a bright, medium-sized, carpeted room on the top floor with double wardrobe, air conditioning and a west-facing balcony large enough to fit a small table and chairs. Optional: our previous housemate can provide you with a mattress and/or bed base should you need those. THE HOUSE: Well, it has been described by the real estate agency as "impressive" - need we say more? (Yes) It’s over three levels, about 6-7 years old and super low on maintenance (yay for easy living!). It has all the mod cons: Large living + dining area, air conditioning, instant hot water, wifi, ducted heating (including bedrooms), kitchen with Miele appliances (including dishwasher) and loads of bench space, laundry with washing machine (no dryer, but there's a hanger in the courtyard), one bathroom (shower + bath), two toilets, and a private courtyard. THE LOCATION: Close to shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants, Darling Gardens, bike and walking paths around Merri Creek, Collingwood Leisure Centre (swimming pool + gym) and 10-15 minutes to Edinburgh Gardens. It's literally a 30 second walk to Clifton Hill train station (on the South Morang / Hurstbridge lines) and 3 mins to the 86 tram and bus stops. There's no designated parking but if you do have a car it's usually easy to get a park nearby. Sorry, no pets or couples.
Hey, I'm looking for a long term room in any of the inner suburbs, preferably within 45 mins cycling time of carlton. I work part time and spend the remainder of my time reading, tryna learn piano and going on outings with friends. Have lived in share houses before and am tidy + reliable with cleaning up and paying rent/bills. I'm always up for the odd cook up/cheap wine when I'm around but respectful of others' space/time. I'll need a place with parking available (street is fine). If you think you've got something in my budget - max $650 p/m - shoot me a message :) Emily
Hey guys! I am from Mumbai, India and will be studying information technology at the University of Melbourne this July. I am looking for a furnished private room in a share house. I have been living in a hostel for the past 4 years and am very comfortable sharing an apartment with others. I am excited to meet people from all over the world and get a chance to learn about their culture. I am an animal lover and a vegan, however, have no problems with you having non-vegetarian food at the apartment. I love to read non-fiction, listen to jazz and am always up for a cold beer.
I am currently in the process of moving from Sydney to Melbourne for a 10 month secondment role at my workplace starting in the first week of August. I'd like to be moved into Melbs and be settled into a new place to call home by the end of August. I am employed as a full time manager. I work hard, so I can be exhausted after a long day but I don't mind sharing a meal, a story or two with a drink, before retreating to my room either to work or for some well deserved, quiet "me time" Whilst my family is based in Melbourne, my friends are in Sydney. So I plan to make new friends, check out the sights and some social scenes on weekends. Of course, hang out with the folks. Whilst I wouldn't mind a good friend over to chill occasionally, I'm not the type to invite a party over. I am reliable, respectful, house trained and excellent at paying my bills on time. I've been renting and maintaining a two storey townhouse for the last 8 years on my own. So I will be honest, it's been a while since I've shared...But have a squeaky clean payment history. I am looking for a place with my own unfurnished large room for my things, my own off street parking (pref undercover) for my car and ensuite bathroom. Looking for a place that is clean, modern and in a well built up bustling area. Water pressure will be tested upon inspection ;) Any room with my own outdoor access will be a bonus and highly considered! Internet access is simply a must. If you think you have the place for me in the areas that I've mentioned or similar areas, please contact me with the suburb, the room specs and the cost of living. Thanks, Dee

Hello, I'm a 33 year old professional who works in Heath Care. I'm hoping to find a house with beautiful people who appreciate simplicity, kindness and generosity. I've been in Melbourne for about 5 years now and keep discovering new things about this city. I work a regular 9-5 shift and like to relax at home most weekdays. This includes indulging in conversation about the world, bingeing on an interesting TV show or cooking up some ethnic food. My interests include world cinema, I'm always looking forward to different film festivals. Multi culture, we have to consider us lucky to be in a city that offers so much diversity, this includes trying different restaurants and cuisines. I'm guilty of traveling hours to sample new foods (Afghan in Dandenong). I don't drink and party as I much as i used to but more then happy to socializes with my housemates as i find myself more comfortable in intimate group settings. I'm not a big fan of sports and would rather spend my time reading, gardening or traveling Ideally I'm looking for a house/ apartment in the inner north (I fell in love with this area a few years back) Northcote, Thornbury, Clifton Hill, Westgarth, Brunswick East with 1/2 people. I offer my future housemates respect, kindness and consideration, I'm fairly low maintenance and pull my weight when it comes to tidying up or contributing to group dynamics. I would like to write more about myself but i rather meet over coffee/chai to tell you more about my life. This feels like a dating profile without the actual dating :) Please feel free to contact me for more details Peace Saqib
