Hi, I'm Minnie, studying Linguistics at Melbourne Uni, originally from NSW. I'm looking for a place to stay for a bit while organising something more long term with friends, and while doing a short uni subject, from 9th January to around the start of February. I have subletted in shared accom in the past and very much like to clean up after myself and be considerate of fellow humans (and pets, I have no animal allergies, quite the opposite). Please shoot me a message if I look like a good fit :) - Minnie
Hi there!. I am a final year medical student, currently studying in Malaysia. I would be travelling to Melbourne, on the 26th of October, for a short-stay of 7 weeks for my Medical Electives at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. I am looking to rent a private room for $200pw (bills inclusive, but flexible!). I am neat, love travelling, meeting new people, and also enjoy some me time. Looking for a like minded mature(ish) professional females who would prefer to live alone, but can't afford to. :) Let's find a great 3 BR house in a quiet street and with enough space so we can set our respective households in the same house. Shared bathroom is ok with me. I would like a garden for my cat (and your pet?) to be manly in, and if we could set up a small veggie garden that would be great. I am not really a gregarious person and do like to spend time on my own, pottering around the house and garden. But I like sharing time with people I live with, watching movies and crocheting with a mug of mulled wine in winter or in Summer sitting outside and just enjoying the peace and a chat and laugh. I am happy to cook for myself but do eat healthier when I share dinners with someone. So we could share meals when suits and I hardly ever say no to a coffee first thing in the morning. :) I work full time at uni, cycle or take public transport, but a car is in the plans. You would need to love cats, as I want to know that he is loved and cared for when I am not around. I prefer cats but do like small dogs, as long as they are not smelly. :) Am looking to set up a home for long term with the right people. If you are interested, contact me and we catch up. Look forward to hearing from you.

Hey there! I'm a clean and tidy, omnivorous, non-smoking, 28-year-old Geography student. I love surfing, climbing, playing guitar, reading, coffee, and the occasional swing dancing session. I spend most of my week either at University, climbing, or catching up with friends, and I go away camping every other weekend or so. Therefore when I'm home I'm generally just quietly recharging. The main things I am looking for in a share house are somewhere clean, tidy, respectful, and relaxing to come home to. I like a chat over coffee or the occasional shared meal, but in general home is my happy place to recharge quietly. I like to have friends over occasionally for dinner/movies times, and I am not fazed by the occasional party or people coming and going. My strengths as a housemate are my ability to do dishes straight away; my positive outlook; and some great mum puns. If I sound like I could be a good fit for your share house feel free to shoot me a message :)
Hi, My name is Apeec. I'm originally from Canberra and moved to Melbourne last year. I am a neat, respectful, considerate and friendly person. I also understand the need for privacy and personal time/space. I like sports, reading, philosophy and have an eclectic taste in most things. When not working, you'll find me playing bball, reading, music, radio or out exploring with friends and family. I work full time in the city, so a place that's close to transport would be optimal. I look forward to hearing from you. Kind Regards, Apeec

I am an easy going clean & reliable flat mate. Work full time. Love to cook & share the occasional meal & glass of wine. Normally out a few nights a week at the gym or catching up with friends.
I'm 31, male, LGBT+ friendly, quiet and unlikely to trash anything. I'm from the UK but I've spent the last four years being nomadic around Europe/North America/Australia. I work as a self-employed videogame designer - that doesn't mean that I get to play games all day, but it's pretty rewarding.
Hi, I'm Tan. Nice to meet you :) I'm a friendly, communicative person who loves a quiet but warm 'homely' home. I love nature so somewhere with some trees or close by to a park would be ideal for me. I'm looking for a bungalow, a self-contained space, or somewhere peaceful, as I'm working on a writing project and need to 'hear my own thoughts' as such! I work casually in disability arts, spending every odd-weekend away, and every month or two, I head up north to Queensland for a week or so. I'm very respectful towards shared living values, clean up after myself straight away and contribute keenly to the upkeep and proper care of a home. I have no issues with pulling my weight and with working together to manage the care of the home - it is something I value, so no, you won't have issues with me and house work! My hobbies are in watercolour painting, drawing, writing and low-key gardening. I'm also pretty independent so I will most certainly be available for a chat but generally, as a natural tendency, I can keep more or less to myself. Not looking for a party house. I'm a bit sensitive to cigarette smoke and chemicals generally, so smokers are fine but it would be preferable that I lived in a space where I'm not breathing in cigarette air directly. I would love to hear about you, answer any questions you have, and if you happen to have a place suitable for me, to come by and have a quick 'get to know you'. Looking for a place starting mid-December or mid-January but most certainly can consider a place earlier. Thank-you so much for your time. Tan.
Hi :) I am a 23 year old graduate electrical engineer moving to Melbourne from Adelaide to start my new job in December. I love to cook, learn new skills, meet new people, and recharge by curling up with a good movie, game or book. I am a tidy, polite and considerate of others, and always open to a good chat and a laugh. I'm great with chores, with a habit of getting them out of the way early so I can get on with the fun stuff in my day. On weekends I expect to be out of the house mostly, exploring Melbourne and meeting up with my friends. I am looking forward to hearing from you :)
Hi, I'm Giuliana, looking for a longer-term place to call home in a sharehouse with another 2 or more people. About me: During the week I work 8.30-5, 4 days per week at a university library, and spend 2-3 nights a week at yoga. Aside from yoga, I love hiking, camping and nature connection, travel, cooking (and eating!), motorbike riding, spending quality time with friends and family, veggie and herb gardening; so would love a place with a decent sized backyard with a veggie garden, or the space for one as well as for composting, all the better if there are housemates who'd like to share in this as I've still got a lot to learn! Who I am and what I’m seeking: I'm a thoughtful, open-minded, respectful, grounded, tidy, sustainability-focused person looking to share with other gentle, caring people with similar values; and amongst all of that sharing a healthy dose of humour is most welcome. I'm looking for a longer-term share house (which is why I’ve written so much!) so it's important to me to find a place with people where we can create a healthy household dynamic; which can only really come through clarity in communication. While this can be difficult at times and we’re all learning, it’s super important for me and the people I share with to be willing to try to communicate openly, gently and respectfully to the best of our abilities. I have a fulfilling social life, however I'd really like to live with others who are more than just people I live in the same house with; I'd like to share communal meals and chats regularly. However I also need alone time, and am respectful of other people’s need for that also. I'm currently used to preparing my own meals, but am very open and welcoming to communal living, food sharing, and perhaps also composting. I'm not vegetarian or vegan, but I rarely eat meat and I've happily lived with vegans and vegetarians before. About the house: In terms of the house itself, some things I’d really like (though not essential, unless there’s none of them) are: - Gas stove top (for cooking! Electric or induction are a bit limiting) - Undercover parking for my motorbike (I have a cover for it, but much easier to just park under something) - A backyard that gets some sunlight and has, or has space to grow herbs and veggies (even if it’s just concrete that you can put plant pots on) - An older house with character, with larger rooms and more natural light (I’m not a big fan of those townhouses going up all over the place) - I’m particularly interested in moving to Thornbury, Preston, Fairfield, Northcote, North Fitzroy (not necessarily in the order), but surrounding suburbs like Ivanhoe, Alphington, Brunswick and Coburg may also be suitable. I have a mish-mash of furniture including a fridge (oldish), and a washing machine (newish). I'm willing to shed what's not needed though as most of it I've collected along the way from family and friends. I have some lovely indoor plants which I'd love to share with my new housemates as some of them are little big for the bedroom! I don’t have a particular date I need to be out of my current place by, but I’d ideally like to have at least 3 weeks notice so my existing housemate has a chance to find a new sharer also. Would love to hear from you if you think I'd suit your share home.
